next up is connie, who would prolly have a doberman i’m not even finna lie. like he would want a dog that looks scary, but isn’t actually mean. and that’s specifically his dog.

like he’s trained enough that if connie tells him to attack like for real, that mf gon attack. but he’s trained enough to know if connie just playin or not. but he got it kinda good cus when i say everybody is scared of this boys dog …. it ain’t even funny 💀

there’s really no problems with this dog other than the fact that it’s big, but it’s trained a lot and hella good. like the dog knows to sit down in its normal spot when people come over and not to try to jump on people when they’re standing up, stuff like that.

so ony would probably have a small dog just like eren, and it’d probably be a papillon and lemme tell you, he would literally treat this dog like a princesssss omggg.

buy her clothes, paint her nails, brush and comb her hair, brush her teeth, treats everywhere in the bottom of the pantry. like he’ll treat the dog like his own daughter. he always holds her, she’s trained (kind of), like what else could a dog ask for?

but the namewise, i feel like he’d name his dog princeee, honestly. 😭

now speaking of fussing, mikasa will forever get fussed at for buying not one, but two black perro de prasa canarios. when i say this girl don’t give a damn bout walking at night with her hands full at all, even when the dogs ain’t on a leash, they’re trained REALLY good. so when she’s actually scared or nervous about somebody following her, they’ll do exactly what she says. full on barking and then stopping mid bark when she says so.

everybodies scared of her dog (and connie would be jealous because not that many people really care about his when they see hers) but it’s not even on purpose, she just wants them for protection honestly.

now honestly her and this dog will argue each other from the minute she wakes up to the minute she goes back to sleep. they would be so on and off. 😭 but she’d dress the dog up and stuff and be really nice to it.

the only thing she’d really laugh at is how skinny the dog looks. but the name would probably be bones.

this is the part two to intoxicated

since your meet-up with jo, you’d been visibly getting better; you had stopped yourself from listening any of euijoo’s voicemails or reading any of his messages. to be honest, this was the best you’d ever been. in a long while.

but still, you tossed and turned at night; still worrisome over the situation. with a big sigh, you turned on the night light. it’s blinding rays caused you to blink uncontrollably. that was until you heard a knock on the door, paired along with a buzz from your phone, notifying you of a message. reaching out to your phone across on the dresser, you saw who sent a message.

it was byun euijoo.

your steps felt heavy as you stripped yourself of the warm embrace of your duvet and left your bed. another knock echoed in your ears as you opened the peephole, noticing euijoo standing there himself.

his appearance was most peculiar, his hair was dishevelled, he seemed as if to be stumbling around and euijoo looked visibly disoriented.

“open up, please.” a murmur came from his pretty lips.

worried, and with trembling hands, you got to unlocking your doors. that was when his head fell on your shoulder. somehow, you managed to pull him in and lock the door. the smell of liquor deepened as he picked his head up and walked to your couch and took a seat.

“take me back, i’ll do anything. i just need you. i….,” euijoo’s eyes were partially bloodshot, as he gripped your couch; his knuckles turning a deep shade of white. “i miss you.”

as you balled your fists, you couldn’t stop the sadness turning into raw anger. tears threatened to fall and your chest tightened. that familiar lump in your throat refused to dissipate as you turned your head away from him, avoiding his hazed gaze.

“get out.” was all you could reply. you weren’t sure if you meant it or if it was just the heat of the moment. maybe it was a way of coping.

you didn’t know.

you raised your voice once again, “i can’t believe you’re drunk right now. byun euijoo, i hate you.”

‘i love you’ you wanted to instead blurt out.

confusion took to his facial expression as he pleaded against it, “you know i never meant it. i really thought she was you.”

euijoo took hesitant steps towards you, reaching out his arm to touch yours. he needed to feel your warmth, you were slipping through his fingers every second he didn’t.

a lone tear ran down your cheek and as you backed away from his touch like a scorching flame that blistered at a single touch. “no, no, no. you don’t get to do that, byun. i’ve had to deal with your drunk ass constantly, i can’t believe you would do something like that. and with my best friend too?”

the emotions seemed to pour all out as you continued.

“you’re never sober when with me, i’m so sick of it. you just don’t get me, we’re so different and it hurts. when i first met y—“ a sob wracked your body and interrupted your speech. “when i first met you, you were kind and friendly and—you know… just the man for me. and now; look at you. i can barely stand to myself.”

his glazed eyes weren’t looking at you, they seemed to be looking through you. it was always like that, though. same thing each time, but just in another situation.

byun euijoo was drunk, again. just like he always was.

“we’re done, euijoo. didn’t you hear me the first time?” you held an accusatorial tone in your voice. “i never want to see you ever again.”

this time, he spoke clearly. “i’m so fucking sorry, i’m so sorry. this is all my fault.”

as much as you were mad at euijoo, you hated how his voice broke right then. yearning and longing consumed your heart, making it impossible for you to tear your watchful gaze away from the man.

the man you thought he was had disappeared, leaving a worser version in it’s wake.

his gaze met yours, and you interjected.

“i’m glad you finally know it’s all your fault. shit, i can’t do this right now. you’re shit-faced.” you stated again. “not once have we had a genuine conversation without you being drunk.”

with hitched breath, you placed two fingers on your nose bridge.

the silence was killing you inside; you just wanted to scream, to cry, to rage — to do anything. your emotions swirled like a hurricane inside as you felt the pent-up frustration build up. it was overwhelming your mental and physical being.

euijoo’s pleas went unheard but still listened to, “let me prove myself, huh?” his hands found yours, resonating with your warmth. he ran his finger over your knuckles, rubbing them as a way to assure you. “you know i love you so fucking much. everything i do is for you. i can’t live without you.”

yet, his hands were cold. very much unlike the searing love you had for him. you still envisioned the man euijoo could be, not the man he was. hesitantly, with his arms spread; signalling he wanted you in his embrace.

maybe it was that you missed him, or that a part of you still loved him.

because like the complete and utter fool in love you were, you accepted his shallow welcome.

so I’ve seen a lot of things where people who ship portwell say that ej lost two girls to Ricky/ricky stole two girls from ej. and while yes in the first season Ricky was actively trying to break nini and ej up that is not the case at all in season three. He stepped back because he saw how happy Gina and ej were together in that moment. he knew that that’s what Gina wanted then and did everything he could bear to help that out. he helped Gina with her promposal. He didn’t throw Gina under the bus after rcosl because he wanted them to figure it out for themselves. and again, he didn’t throw Gina under the bus when she was upset about ej missing her basketball thing. He tried his best to stay out of their relationship and let them figure themselves out when they were going thru problems because he had 👏🏼 character 👏🏼 growth 👏🏼 he didn’t want to meddle. it kinda goes back to season two when Ricky’s mom says “if you truly love someone sometimes the best thing you can do is to let them go” (or something like that, I don’t remember the exact wording). Ricky believed that he should let Gina go. And so he did! he didn’t meddle as season one Ricky would have. he could have confessed to Gina about his feelings at the end of prom but didn’t because he saw that she was hurting. and again, later, he had the opportunity to do so again and didn’t because he found out Gina and ej had broken up. he loved Gina even if he didn’t realize it and only kissed her once she made the move first. They had a whole MONTH in between the end of camp and the documentary trailer premiere! And I saw someone say that it’s “lazy writing” and portwell had been built up from season one with everything and rina only had like ten scenes with zero chemistry at all… uh, bffr. Coming from someone who worshipped rini, all I can say is that I never felt any chemistry between ej and Gina. yes I will admit the things they did were borderline cute but as someone who went from not trusting Gina to loving her, I was team Gina, to be quite honest with you. I just wanted her to be happy. And if that’s with ej, if that’s with Ricky, whoever(but not Mack) then there you go. the writers decision not mine. but the people who say that “rina really didn’t have anything in season one or two” don’t understand the point of a mid game ship. They don’t understand that Ricky had given up on Gina. Ricky and nini barely interacted post homecoming! until Gina left. Ricky thought she was gone forever, Gina thought she was gone forever, and so I hate to paint nini as the “only choice left” but the fact remains that Ricky regressed and undid all of the growing he had done with Gina to be with nini. and they were not gonna last, as I said, I loved them dearly, but by the first episode of season two you could tell it wasn’t going to be the same. and then Gina and Ricky barely interacted over the course of season two. why? Because Gina was heartbroken, obviously, and they never got closure over her post finale confession. she wanted something so bad but saw that she couldn’t have it so she found someone who made her feel an inkling of what she felt for Ricky. and people say that ej did this and this and this and constantly supported her but like… he brought her a granola bar to pick her up at the airport. um, okay, skip on to the next please? they had a heart to heart where Gina basically inflated his huge ego (I’m sorry, I love ej but he was a lil cocky in the first couple seasons) and… what else? “Saved” her in the hallway? by pretending to be her boyfriend? and portwells can say all they want but the fact remains is that the confession scene from Gina was filmed in season one, the post homecoming scene in Ricky’s car changed everything for tim and the rest of the show, rina won, and everybody’s happy. because ultimately, that’s all I’ve wanted for anyone on this show. I just wanted them to be happy. and if you truly love this show you’d be wanting that for the characters too.

Honestly I think hsmtmts s1 started with very typical idea of Ricky and nini being the boy/girl next door, Childhood friends that date kind of thing. With Gina and ej being the mean, scheming counterparts. It was so obvious from the posters and their costumes. But I guess none of the writers anticipated what a force sofia Wylie would turn out to be. She has a presence that just demands attention. She's the best actress of them all, best Dancer and her chemistry with Joshua is on another level. Plus the character of Gina turned out to have fascinating layers. All this combination outshined nini. Nini and Ricky were originally supposed to be main characters and though Ricky stayed a main character throughout the show, nini, never felt like a main character to me, even in season 1. She was sweet and good and had a straightforward arc that wasn't nearly as interesting as other characters. Plus she had no flaws. Ricky had issues, he had flaws that made him interesting. Same with Gina and ej.

And I feel the same with rini. They were sweet but kinda bland. Portwell were much better, interesting and deserved better treatment from the writers. And rina is rina. Sizzling chemistry. Best ship.

This is no hate to olivia, my problem is with nini. Honestly I completely forgot she was part of this show in season 3 until she showed up in last episode.

I had this in my drafts and I remember responding to it but forgot to post it.

I think the show marketed themselves as very typical Disney in the way that you could kind of tell what narrative archetypes the original core 4 were supposed to be, especially if you relate it to the movies. Nini as the girl next door with so much talent but didn’t believe in herself until she’s suddenly the star of the show. Very girl underdog narrative. Ricky as being her first love and the cute dorky guy that doesn’t put effort but somehow is magically talented, plus the network promoted them as their “Troy and Gabriella” so the audience was supposed to believe they were their rightful successors. Even some of the posters promised that “love triangle” between EJ/Nini/Ricky as a relevant plot and we know that wasn’t the case. And just by the posters and trailer you could’ve guessed Gina and EJ were the “antagonists”. But as I said, it was a marketing tactic because tropes and love triangles sell, and I was also a bit too skeptical but ended up genuinely surprised.

I definitely agree Ricky and Nini’s romance was very bland and I was not rooting for them at all even on Season 1. I found them so cringy, very Disney cooking cutter and they were clearly not right for each other. I was attracted to Gina’s arc from the start so imagine my surprise when she went the opposite direction of what she was marketed as and then developed a way more interesting character arc. However, I do think the show failed Nini because she could’ve been more interesting. I liked her but I agree her arc was too straightforward and a bit too boring at times only saved by Olivia’s voice but there’s a lot of people that still don’t get her arc at all, which is why they still ship her with Ricky even if it was literally against Nini’s character growth.

Funny enough, when I watched 105 I ended up feeling like Ricky and Gina had so much potential and their chemistry was interesting but I wasn’t sure if the show was going to follow that up because it wasn’t very Disney like. Very rare do Disney shows follow the second lead romance pipeline. And I am so glad I was wrong because Ricky and Gina elevated the show by having them develop a very tension filled arc and it did felt very much 00’s coded so I ended Season 1 feeling like they had to go there at one point because it would be a wasted potential. By Season 2, I was sure they were endgame. No questions or doubts. The narrative made it very known and I never doubted that for a moment.

So, PW was just as bland to me, the narrative was forcing them badly with obvious and cringe dialogue. It lacked subtlety, it was very much in your face. As if they wanted you to ship them so hard and were overdoing it. But not even in a good way – there was not care or thought put into their scenes. The music, the implications. It was not done in a way that screamed endgame. And them also being a thing when Ricky and Gina were not speaking was a plot device to keep the endgame in the won’t they/will they situation-ship. I still believe it was a mistake to put them together because it was clear it wasn't going to last and their dynamic worked best as platonic. EJ worked better when he wasn’t put into a situation to be Gina’s plot device. PW was a mid-game ship and was treated as such. The narrative wasn’t hiding it. It was there for Gina to experience her first relationship before she gets with Ricky since their build in narrative has always been about second chances, the right timing and opportunities. I think they deserved a better closure on Season 3, but I am glad they eventually got it on Season 4. However, they were always meant to be a plot device and I didn’t expect anything else from it. The people convinced they were endgame clearly didn't want to see the show for what it was saying.

Rina just had the it factor to me. It was very reminiscent of the old ships in which their story line wasn’t too straightforward and it was told by the parallels and foreshadowing which is a huge factor as to why Ricky and Gina had such compelling arcs individually and together. Ricky being the stability Gina needs and Gina being the person that pushes Ricky forward by taking him out of his comfort zone. They give each other what the other needs and wants. That’s what their storyline has been about since Season 1 and nothing compares to their chemistry. It was undeniable since the start even when some people wanted to deny it.

milo manheim (i have not seen thanksgiving so i don't know what the situation is with the killer in that movie but i feel like he wasn't the killer tbh)

matt cornett (he literally said that he wanted to play a villain, and no i don't count s1 ej as one, at least not for this list, and he was making it into villain territory with his criminal minds character but i want something bigger)

meg donnelly (i feel like she could pull it off, especially since she teetered into being 'evil' in the i scream zoda episode but that was for like 5 minutes if that)

brenna d'amico (the loml sighhh, i just feel like she can embody the energy of like a maleficent (the angelina jolie one) type villain or many even an uma type villain idk idk)

jeremy shada (i wanted to hear him voice a villain, not only would it give us (voltron fans) evil lance content (if anyone wanted that) but i just feel like he would have fun with it. i could also see him being a villain's sidekick)

grant gustin (i know we had savitar but that was for less than one season and i was so long ago. also evil barry's face messed with my texture problems so i can't even just go back and rewatch without preparing myself)

benjamin levy aguilar (the closest that i have to him being a villain was him pretending like he was gonna waterboard that one guy in new life and he was like semi-bluffing so- and i love seeing him as dante fighting people so just make him morally bad and there ya go)

nicola coughlan (same sorta villain type as brenna but maybe like more sultry idk. like tap into that 'penelope giving face as she ruins ppl's lives' energy that i kept seeing on here when s3 dropped)

You know what I just realized when Ricky told Gina that she was super busy with the movie filming and barely had no time to make to to rehearsal not with her tight schedule on Halloween episode so you know what Gina did. She took care of issue next day when she told Quinn that she could film all day with Mack as that was most of her filming schedule with him so that she would have all the time to do HSM3 with Ricky. So she did something about it and made sure she would have time for Ricky and the drama club, unlike EJ. When EJ was so overwhelmed last summer with all of tasks and he didn't even ask Val for help or anyone as well to take some of burdens so he would have some time to spend with Gina so this really shows that Gina was truly committed to Ricky and drama club because she actually cared about them and they were very important to her more than anything else and didn't want to put them off or ignore it just because she was too busy. EJ thought the problem would go away itself and everything would be okay and the problems would keep increasing to the point that Gina just had it with him and had to end it. I find it very interesting that when you are truly commit to something, you do everything in your power to make sure you get what you want. If you don't care much about something, why bother to put all the efforts into it. Gina showed her commitment to the drama club and her time with Ricky and she proved it. EJ didn't bother to do all that so that really shows that he wasn't really committed to Gina at all. She wasn't first thing on his mind and not even his first priority and never was. It was all about impressing his father. So if he was really committed to Gina, his actions would have showed differently. This is not that hard. If you care about someone, you show it through your actions. Like he had many jobs and college courses and more and yet he made time to talk to Val on the phone says a lot about who he is truly committed to.

Yes! You expressed this perfectly, anon! I am sort of parroting you here, but truly everything EJ did s3 was self-serving. He wanted to impress his dad because it benefitted him not going to that college. If he didn't go to that college, it benefitted him so he could be with his girlfriend. I always felt so icky the way he twisted the narrative to make it look like he was doing it all for Gina.

I think it was actually crucial we got that scene of Gina apologizing to EJ, because if you were team EJ season 3, then watched that scene you might have went "now wait a minute, why is gina apologizing?" And then you would also wonder why her apologizing caught you off guard in the first place. Because the way gina and ej handled everything was not equal. Maybe the premise was the same, but the reactions were not. And that is all the difference you need in seeing where true intentions were.

Now, I'm going to give EJ some credit here: season 4 I genuinely felt like he was actually doing things for other people. Episode 5 is the biggest proof of that. He dropped everything to help his ex's new boyfriend basically get back with her. He said so himself he was not totally loving hearing ricky talk about gina, but he still pushed ricky to fight for her. Then we also got the scene of ashlyn telling maddox EJ had been rooting for them since the beginning. We see him tell ashlyn that he thinks maddox has feelings for her. Then we see EJ hear Gina out and own up to his behavior season 3, not trying to fight to win her back. His intentions became unselfish again and it was clear in his characterization season 4. You could genuinely see his growth and I found myself liking him again!

I can't help but feel a little betrayed by the writers when Gina said that Ricky made her feel so seen. Not after EJ told her that she was the bravest person he ever met when he thought of her. Not only that but the couch scene in s2 cemented that between EJ and Gina. Even though s3 was rough for them I think that the circumstances weren't in their favor. This isn't hate to anyone by any means! Just a confused and slightly sad PW shipper here. 🤧

okay yeah same i did feel a little upset in that moment because on the one hand. sofia acted that moment so well and it tugged on my heartstrings and it made me happy she felt that way with ricky. but then i was like but. you were so seen by EJ!!!! i would argue even more so!! i just think these two characters will always understand each other on a different level than anyone else. the way they put their 100% into everything they do. their shared parental pressure. i could go on and on.

and in season 2 when she was feeling so unseen, when ricky was so distracted, it was EJ who saw her! it was EJ asking her how she was doing genuinely during the quincinerea scene. it was EJ seeing her and understanding her in the couch scene. it was EJ showing up with a granola bar when she most needed it. EJ saying she's the bravest person he's ever met my heart is broken EJ. saw. gina. even this season when he wasn't interacting with her the advice he gave to ricky showed just how well he knows Gina, how seen she is by him!

and anon this definitely doesn't come across as hate and i think if anyone sees it that way they have a problem with not letting people have different interpretations of the show.

as a confused and slightly sad PW shipper I'm here for you <3 i know I've expressed a lot of positive feelings about this season and the closure around portwell, but i don't want any PWs who are upset about this season to feel alone bc i definitely struggled with a lot of it. for a lot of the r*na content i had to for my sanity be like "okay. this is fine. would portwell better fit this (or a variation of this)? yes. does this apply to portwell? yes. but i will ignore this and focus on r*na being cute"

(there are valid things about the r*na ship and they have their unique aspects that make them work, and i think this season handled their relationship well in certain respects. but moments like the "i feel so seen" scene are frustrating examples of the writers highlighting a positive for r*na that also fits portwell, maybe even better, and just make my heart sad thinking about what we could have had)

I'm honestly not bothered by Portwell's shipping Mack and Gina because they are doing exactly what I expected lol. Portwell's have always been very transparent.

I remember posting on here during season 3 if people ship Gina and EJ because they actually like them or if they just did it because it kept Ricky and Gina apart, it certainly seemed like the latter to me. The reason for making that post was because I got the feeling that many Portwell's were just undercover Rini's shipping Gina and EJ together because of the same fact that it meant keeping Ricky and Gina away from each other. I got some responses to that post denying that was case and that they actually really did like Portwell for legit reasons, which is fair enough. However, after the season 3 finale and the way it ended with Ricky and Gina kissing, my suspicions seemed justified because Portwell's started posting the Rini finale kiss from season 1 comparing the two. Even that hqportwell twitter page was tweeting about Rini and Portwell's liking a bunch of Rini posts, the likes are visible to the public people if your account isn't private lol.

Also, after season 3 all I saw from Portwell's was that the show made Gina totally different from season 2 and that she was not the same. Mind you these comments were only made once she broke up with EJ and kissed Ricky, funny that. If you actually cared about Gina as a character and actually understood her you would realize she was not her actual self in season 2. I mean, Gina had a song called Balance in season 3 where she mentions that the real her is going to shine, not the old her (season 1) or the 2.0 her (season 2) but the combined version. Also Sofia even mentioned in an interview how Gina wasn't herself in season 2, she knows her character better than anyone else. Let's be honest, yall only liked her in 2b once she cut off Ricky because it meant she was no longer a threat to Rini. Even during season 3 I remember people shipping Ricky with Jet and Val but once the show started hinting at him and Gina again it changed, all of a sudden it was Ricky needs therapy before he is with someone else lol. If Ricky needs therapy before getting in another relationship because of his home life, why was it/is it not the same for EJ? Is his relationship with his dad not terrible and strained? He should be in therapy as well according to yall instead of being in a relationship. This way of thinking is also very dumb, to suggest that someone who needs or is in therapy can't also be in a relationship or in love.

So, this was a long way of saying that I'm not surprised that Portwell's/Rini's/Jolivia's are shipping Gina with Mack because they have always been very transparent. They don't care about Gina or her happiness, they care about her not being with Ricky be any means necessary. This was obvious by immediately blaming Gina for everything during and after season 3 while believing EJ handled everything perfectly. Once Gina was not paired with EJ anymore, propping him up or giving him more screen time they went back to hating her. I know it can be annoying for some people to see Gina being shipped with Mack but try not to let it get to you, they refused to see or just didn't understand the story the show was telling with Ricky and Gina since the homecoming episode. This fandom has a big media literacy problem.

While I love Rina, Gina is more than just who she is with. I think she is the best character on the show, she is super talented and a star. I'm excited too see the show finally dive into more detail on her home life with her mom and how that has affected her.

Days 63-66 (Friday through Monday!)

I'm going to go ahead and be realistic and say I am not likely to make it on here with the same frequency as summertime to post, but I absolutely had to finish my series!

Friday: the highlight was Greek food at my aunt's house. It was lovely.

Saturday: drove for two hours on the toll highway (NOT looking forward to that bill!!) to go to my cousin's engagement party, which was also lovely.

Sunday: went running again!

Monday: I bought new running shoes because it seems that this might actually be a habit? And also because my big toe on my left foot was literally poking through my shoe, haha.

And, for posterity's sake and also because I just can't resist, this first week back was utterly and completely exhausting, and also, not horrible? Pas mal as they say! My kids are VERY sweet and VERY well behaved. I LOVE my principal (she is so freaking funny) and vice principal (who always speaks to me in his beautiful native French) and even the one student that people...know around the school, is super cute and honestly in my opinion I just think he has a little anxiety around getting the work done so acts avoidant as a result. So yeah. I'm in a great headspace! EJ did really well, although ofc he immediately got a cold, and had a seriously epic meltdown on Thursday after school, mainly because he's holding his pee in ALL DAY. The entire day! Wah! But, I'm super proud of him and I'm sure will look back on that problem one day with fondness...because he will learn to pee at school. Right?! Right. Today I did a 32 minute walk/run, jnils worked most of the day, and I took a nap on the couch at one point by mistake while EJ watched some show about dragons, which almost never happens to me, but dang if I'm not pooped! -Jeff a total of 5 hours ago when him and the pastas that could conceal there identities said they were going to a “cool motor party” or somthin I don’t know I heard party and saw my change to finally get out of the house. So I took it and snuck away when Jeff wasn’t paying attention and now I’m at this big ass party- more like event. Jesus have you seen this place???

I roll my eyes at the thought, and take a look around, the first thing I see is Kate selling drinks,and I knew it was Kate because Of that jacket she always wears, with a motorcycle cycle helmet on, I guess the employees have to wear them? I don't fuckin no, so I walk over to the stand, the top of the gazebo is blue, probably one of those cheap ones from Walmart or some shit, anyway | greet her, she recognizes me and hands me a red solo cup of [insert what you want to drink here lolz] and I wave bye and walk off.

I stop at the gate, the motorists are practicing before the show, so everyone here has a chance to roam and stuff, and y' know, get robbed or something, anyway I'm completely focused on these men, just wandering about,engines blare, sand is getting thrown from the weals.

And then I feel it, hands,No knuckles, rubbing up and down my back, I whip around, about to slap the bee-Jesus (ya like jazz 🐝??) out of the person who had the nerve to touch me…and then I paused.

“Oh…hey Jack.”

He had a helmet on, to hide his..demonic..appearance but I knew it was him, from his gloves, he wore them so no one would see his claws

“Hello love, I thought you weren’t aloud to be out here?”

“Because Jeff told me it was “dangerous”? He literally uses me as a “get out of ass beating free” card every time we’re on a mission together, I don’t value a single thing he says.”

He places his hands on my hips, lightly pulling me in

“Well, it’s good to see you.”

He smiles. God why do I fall for the dorks..?

“It’s good to see you to.”

Then Toby comes up behind him, rolling his deep, dark umber eyes (yes I did google “different types of brown” for this,SHUT-)

“Jesus could you be any more gay???? Like seri-seriously. This is just sad.”

He says with a stutter

“Kind of hard to be a dick when you have a chronic stutter problem gay boy”

He looks pissed, he wasn’t usually this easy to aggravate.Maybe his bipolar is acting up?I think he might’ve been out of those meds.

“You.”

Toby points at me.

“What.”

“You’re getting in the cage.”

Jack says, I can feel his grip on my waist tightening

“Fuck off Toby.”

“No. There not even supposed to be here. You heard Jeff.”

“Oh yea? And you’re gonna do what. Make them??”

“No. But how about this? They get in the cage, and if they make it out without pissing there pants they can stay. Ok!?”

Jack turns to look at me

“Sure I guess”

As I get into the cage I feel Toby eyeing me from afar

“Ok so all you have to do is keep your arms up or close to your body, and if me or Toby hands you anything keep it close to your body ok?”

I nod

“Ok great, the show will start soon, so just be ready.”

Then he walks out of the cage and after a few minutes I hear engines blaring, people cheering, so I throw my arms up and wait, the black tank top I was wearing lightly rising up, and in a moment there was a man in the cage with me,the visor on the helmet lifted so I could tell who it was,it was Jack, I’m surprised he could operate a motorcycle with such lack of vision.

He did rings around the cage, as he went his hands layed on my chest, shoulders, waist and back, he loved to touch me, that was evident, his favorite activity when we were alone together was to trace my scars, getting visibly upset when I told him there was more then the ones on my arms, he hated the idea that I wanted to hurt myself, and that I used to.

After about 5 minutes of spinning he exits the cage, it goes silent for a minute, and it stays silent..and it stays silent.. I want to turn around, to see why it was so silent, and then the noise started back up again, thankfully, and Toby entered the cage.

He however was not as fun to be around as Jack, he was going insanely fast around the cage. Batting at me with his nails, leaving red marks and lashes all over my upper body, one on my face to, this went on for what felt like hours.

I'm sorry, thirty seconds into meeting each other and one walks away with a lasting impression of unremarkable dam that girl was cool and the other walks away with a gut instinct of maybe this is where I find where I belong. and the way they pulled each other closer UNINTENTIONALLY pulls my heartstrings 💗 and also, the way Gina entered the theater program looking for a home. for a family. and got so much more than she bargained for, and while she did find her friends in Ashlyn and Kourtney and Carlos she also found her home (a sacred kind of home 😌) in Ricky. and while Ricky walked into theater for ulterior motives he ended up finding that home and that family too. and to get all that and more from a minute and a half conversation with someone you've never met before is pure romance to me. watch out Romeo and Juliet 😜

image 7: I loved how Ricky and Gina got closer over season three. because while they started out awkward and near strangers because of ej and everything Ricky had/hadn't done over the course of the last semester you could tell. both of them wanted it back, badly. and they fought for it because you can't deny the incredible chemistry and the incredibly feelings and friendship they have for each other. season 3 was so special in the way you can see them grow closer all the while dealing with their own drama. because even in the darkness of each others problems Ricky and Gina have always managed to find their way back to each other - their light. 💡

image 8: for the longest time I didn't understand the point of "say yes to something that scares you." and really, it was Gina all along! Ricky was absolutely terrified of what his feelings for Gina truly meant (doesn't he say this at some point) and also terrified of losing her if she didn't feel the same. he knew it was going to be hard and he knew he was going to have to fight for it and he knew it was going to be the biggest change, the biggest curveball, life was possibly going to throw at him. but he said YES. he said yes to all that, to taking risks, to exploring something unknown and unexplored before, and that is so so special because while Gina didn't scare Ricky, the idea of her - of rina - did. of what they could be. of what they could become. and after their journey of the ups and downs and lefts and rights and all that life had to throw their way, he said yes. Gina said yes. and I love the way they conquered everything in season four together.

Bleach timeline except in the universe where EJ and Renesme are twins, how goes it?

Bleach on the Brain by @therealvinelle. Also, thoughts on if Renesmee was Edward Jacob or if Edward Jacob was her twin brother.

I'm not sure we'd make it far enough for Bleach.

Bleach, notably, is a post-canon timeline and begins when Renesmee is six and decides to take a trip alone with Carlisle to Ireland where she learns a terrible secret.

We presume things pretty much stay the same as we saw at the end of canon until that point and that Renesmee had a very particular and bizarre childhood.

She wouldn't have this childhood with a brother.

Why Not?

She immediately has a very close companion in this with her and there's the... how do I put this, the Jacob problem. Jacob has imprinted on Renesmee, he has not imprinted on Renesmee's twin brother who in many ways is closer to her than he ever will be.

Jacob now isn't her only 'brother' or necessarily her closest companion.

I don't see Jacob taking well to that, especially when in canon we see him having no competition as Bella and Edward are completely out to lunch as parents and dump her on Jacob constantly.

Renesmee's going to be much warier of Jacob much sooner and probably wary of the family at large as there will be a difference between how Renesmee and how Edward Jacob are treated and regarded.

She may not jump on the trip to go to Ireland and if she did, I imagine she's already used to keeping secrets from and not trusting her family. And especially not trusting Jacob (which, of course, just makes all of this that much worse as Jacob will notice that, will resent it, and blames her brother).

The drama of Bleach may or may not happen should the family find about Carlisle's scandalous past, but I don't see Renesmee meeting with Jacob alone at the end.

If we get any story, it's of EJ having an unfortunate 'hunting accident' one day with Jacob and Renesmee realizing that Jacob Black has murdered her brother, and no one believes her or cares.

Especially their mother.

I'm just in the middle of episode 3 of season 4.

Just some thoughts:

- Ricky is always comparing him and Gina to Troy and Gabriella. He's like 'Troyella is endgame'. Yes, buuuut, after what you will learn about them (what we saw in the beginning of the first episode), you maybe will stop comparing to them, because a couple therapy mean that they have some problems...

- Jet being like 'who didn't I have a crush on this summer?' is so funny. Because I'm sorry if I was blind but I didn't see much of him being into Kourtney, for me he was totally on Ricky.

- I'm wondering what happened to Kourtney's boyfriend, Howie. I remember that she was worried about him, but that's all, right? Maybe they will talk about him after...

- Big Red studying abroad is literally the worst excuse they find to explain why he's not part of the show anymore. He isn't the type to do things out of his comfort zone. It's literally making an excuse of why him and Ashlyn will break up.

I like Ashlyn and Maddox but I'm such a fan of the bi couple. Big Red's big geasture for Ashlyn was very cute in season 2, I loved the musical number. In season 3, he wasn't a big part of it, but he still came to support his friends and his girlfriend. I'm so sad that everything is done to make them break up... I love a good wlw but Ashlyn and Big Red were the couple that I wanted to see lasting.

- Emmy's character is very different from what we saw at camp even though she wasn't a part of the main cast. I like it honestly, it's very refreshing! And I'm impressed at Liamani, she's like fourteen/fifteen (?), it's her first real experience on TV, and she's killing it!

- Same as Big Red's situation, the drama with Seb is not something I like. I don't think Seb would act like that. He was such a nice guy, Carlos was the dramatic one and Seb was more chill. I think that if it was the exact same situation but with a role reverse, it would make more sense? Carlos being dramatic about Seb potentially cheating on him while he was away and not wanting to listen to him, would make sense for me.

But in the situation that we see, I feel like Seb would be the one to say to Carlos things like "if you say you didn't I believe you, I don't know much about TV but I know that they like to make things look like something while it's not. It's exactly why I don't like social medias, it's very fake sometimes. I love you, I believe in you."

- If one of the problems people had with Portwell was that Gina stayed at East High while EJ was graduating, why is not the same with Ricky? He's a senior, he will leave next year, and Gina will still be in East High... Even if Ricky choose a college close, he will still not be in high school anymore...

I came across pw posts somewhere saying how EJ & Gina break up doesn't make sense because in s4, Ricky would be senior and Gina will be Junior and he'll be thinking about his future, college plans, or whatnot so how can Ricky and Gina relationship going to work with him thinking about his future while Gina is still in high school just like EJ is doing now? What do you think? I am Rina fan, just to clarify that.

Sorry for the delay. So, I have been asked this question multiple times these past few weeks and I’m not going lie — I don’t get why is such a topic because it low key implies all relationships are bond to hit the same bump when it’s never about the circumstances but about the person. Future plans are for sure a subject that'll come up eventually in Ricky and Gina’s relationship (and I’m excited to see how they’ll handle that) but just because it was a deal breaker for Gina and EJ, doesn’t mean it will be for Ricky and Gina, especially when both relationships and circumstances are/were different. Ricky is in canon the right person for Gina and when it’s the right person — you make it work.

Let me expand on that:

Firstly, EJ and Gina’s relationship started when he was already pretty much out of East High. Their "romantic/flirty" arc started since Spring Break (209) which is late March and their first "romantic" conversation was already about EJ’s college drama. They got together at opening night of the Spring Production and that’s usually June for High School. Graduations also take place in June. He had already graduated when he got with her. Their relationship has always been framed with the knowledge he isn’t a student anymore. Their relationship had an expiration date and was only holding itself together because of the summer time bubble.

The reason for Gina and EJ’s relationship not working out was not about distance or college plans. I would say it wasn’t even the biggest problem. Their issue was about lack of communication. Confiding in another girl instated of his own girlfriend. EJ not making time to enjoy the present with her. He was too focused on the goal (destination) that forgot the steps to get there. EJ’s dad issues and his own insecurities plus not having a solid plan. I also believe Gina's fantasy and rose colored idea of their relationship played a role in her expectations. Most importantly, Gina felt like she couldn’t connect with him since most of her firsts aren’t "new" to him. There were plenty of reasons why their relationship wasn’t going to work even if he had asked for a gap year.

Ricky and Gina were experiencing the same things during summer and the show made it clear they were both walking towards the same direction. All of the memories and experiences Gina wished she had done with EJ ended up being experiences she was able to share with Ricky on a same level. It was Ricky’s first camp too so everything was as new to Gina as it was to him and she will continue sharing a lot of her first experiences with him. Ricky will be a senior. He's still a student. Gina will be able to enjoy the school year with her boyfriend and doing all those couple things such as going to homecoming together, sit with him at lunch, walk hand-in-hand in the hallways. It’s a huge contrast to Gina and EJ’s relationship entirely existing outside of East High with EJ already graduated. It’s not the same. Also, let’s point out that Ricky talked about the journey instated of the destination. While EJ was worried about where they’ll go, he forgot to enjoy the ride with Gina, which is something Ricky wants to enjoy.

And the most important: Gina and EJ don’t have the same connection Ricky and Gina share, not matter how some people want to claim otherwise. Gina and Ricky had emotional attraction from the get go. The sense that this person just gets you and that's hard to find. To me, Gina and EJ's relationship came about because they were both unable to have what they wanted. I also mentioned how everything about EJ felt like some type of fantasy and safety choice for Gina and I think being in a relationship with Gina gave EJ a reason to put off his future. Ultimately, while I think they genuinely liked each other, it served as a way to ignore some things for them. Their honeymoon period ended so they couldn’t ignore their incompatibility. Gina and EJ were in different places. Ricky and Gina are canonically build on the fact they get each other in a way no one else can. Ricky was Gina's first friend at East High and the one person that got to know the real her and helped her put down her walls. Summer camp allowed them to rebuild the connection that already existed between them. They had to do some individual growth before getting their timing right and be together.

I believe Ricky and Gina can go through anything together. They had gone through so much to finally be together. A full year of angst and missing chances. They have emotional understanding of each other. They’re compatible in a lot of ways and most importantly, the narrative keeps telling you they are the type of love each of them needs and the right person. I can see Gina being encouraging of Ricky’s future prospects because she’s always the one pushing Ricky forward and I can see Ricky putting his best efforts in a *possible* distance relationship with Gina because he has experience with all of that but this time is with someone that enjoys his love language. He’ll be the type to drive miles if he has to for Gina. The deal breaker for Gina is not wanting to feel like an afterthought or ignored especially when her family always puts work over her — Ricky will do anything to remind Gina she is loved and appreciated (aka the chocolates). Now that he is her boyfriend he’ll be able to fully show it.

And the best example I can give you is how I mutually broke up with someone because of long distance and later found myself in the exact situation in another relationship but that one did work out (and still going strong) and that’s because there is willingness from both to make it work and there’s communication. Couples can go thought the same situations but how you react to them is the difference.

To conclude, I can see Ricky and Gina going through their very Troy and Gabriella arc for S4 but with the "we’re now famous" arc attached.

The obnoxious sound of an air horn coming from Yurt Locker’s cabin woke up all the girls in Honeycomb. Kourtney hopped out of bed to go see the problem while the rest of you tried to get to your senses. She came seconds later announcing Corbin Bleu had lost his mind. That got you guys to come to your senses alright. What was he doing here this early in the morning? You thought they weren’t even filming today. 

“We’re doing something called a Color War. Did you pack any blue or yellow?” 

Reluctantly, you looked at your clothes. Corbin and Channing woke you up for a color war? All because it would make good television. Camp Shallow Lake stopped doing them years ago. Color War had been replaced with Cabin War— the winning cabin got snacks, pick of movie night, two nights of phone usage, and free time at the pool for just them and a plus two. Honeycomb had won twice. Well, a color war wouldn’t be so bad. 

As everyone did the little activities to earn small points for their teams, Ricky decided to see if there were Caprisuns in the coolers by the barn area. The coolers at the pool only had Sprite. He saw Jett sitting on the grass and messing with a soccer ball. 

“Hey, dude, last night was kinda intense.”

“Do you really think I’m not that bad? Even after all the stuff Maddie yelled about yesterday?”

“I am in no place to judge, man, I’ve done more than a few things I’m ashamed of.” 

“I wasn’t even trying to out her. I thought those texts came from a guy, I was just trying to make a point that I should be allowed to date if she was.”

“Does Maddox know that?” 

“Not sure she’d even hear me. We used to sing together all the time and now we barely talk. If Y/N’s not there, we don’t even stay in the same room for very long.” 

“So, I once knew this girl who was pretty mad at me, I deserved it. But I found that what helps is throwing myself into something that she’s into. Like, I joined the show and worked really hard.”

“Is everything about theater to theater kids? I swear every other word to come out Y/N’s mouth is ballet.” 

Ricky chuckled. “Look, Maddox loves camp. It’s Color War so try to win for her.” 

“Ricky! Are you speaking to the enemy?” You came skipping up. 

Jett rolled his eyes. “I’m the enemy?” 

“You’re in yellow, Jett. Until Team Blue wins, I can’t speak to you today.”

Your cousin just smiled as he muttered a whatever and left to go find Maddox or someone else from Team Yellow. Without a thought, you grabbed Ricky’s hand and led him to one of the first events. It was basketball. With EJ on the team you guys were sure to win. Only you didn’t see EJ when you made it to the small court. Gina didn’t know either. He had kind of been avoiding her since she talked to him about the break. You assured her that she did the right thing for herself and everything would work out in the end whether that meant she was with EJ or not. 

“Well, how are we supposed to win without him?”

Ricky picked up one of the blue basketballs. “It can’t be that hard. Just aim and…”

You and Gina snorted when the ball bounced off the backboard. Gina stood there with a hand on her hip. 

“Didn’t you literally play Troy?”

“Okay, one I was in a harness literally dangling from the ceiling. That’s different.” 

“Mmm hmm, okay, Ricky.” 

“Well… Why don’t we ask Corbin? I bet he’s got some moves.” 

You both turned to see him pointing at Channing and Corbin. While Gina seemed excited, you rolled your eyes and went to the other side of the court. Ricky tossed the ball to Gina before going to sit with you. You both were content to let other people on Team Blue play instead of you. Besides, you didn’t need people to see how uncoordinated you were with anything that wasn’t dance. So you rested your head on Ricky’s shoulder and decided to cheer Gina on. You looked up a bit to speak to Ricky. 

“We’re supposed to practice the Kristoff and Snow dance tomorrow.” 

“What did you have in mind?”

“How quickly can you learn basic ballet? Like really basic ballet.” 

“That sounds… like you have more faith in me than my abilities, Prima.”

“So I take that as a yes, you’re a quick learner.”

Ricky’s mouth hung open for a bit. “I totally didn’t say that, Y/N.”   

You ignored his comment and went back to watching the game. Ricky fiddled with the bottom of his shirt. There wasn’t a good time to tell you about Channing catching his confession on camera. Even if he found a good time, he wasn’t sure he had worked up the courage to tell you. The game ended with Team Blue winning. Ricky let you take his hand as you followed everyone else to move to the next game. 

He did that all day, held your hand as you guys moved from place to place. Even when EJ surprised you guys with Ms. Jenn, you two held hands. He was sure that you had only let go when you were trying to cheer Kourtney on about climbing a rock wall— even though her fear of heights stopped her in the end. And when you went to stand next to Ricky again, his fingers were laced through yours once more. Kourtney and Gina raised eyebrows at that. You didn’t notice but Ricky blushed under their scrutiny. 

“Hey, tomorrow, Dewey gave me permission to use my phone because of auditions,” you told Ricky as you walked to the bonfire area for the last event. “Will you help me film it so I can send it in?” 

He agreed right away to help. You both were up bright and early to film. Stopping by the food hall to get some breakfast to go, you talked about the ballet as you walked down the pier to the large deck that overlooked the lake. Ricky talked through the different roles with you and you decided to take a chance and dance the audition piece for Lucy. You also decided to go see one of his skate competitions. 

“You’re always coming to my stuff,” you said as you started to stretch. “When does anyone ever see about your interests outside of theater? I want to come watch you.” 

The corners of Ricky’s lips curled upwards at that. He started your phone camera, staying deathly still so he could get a good shot for you. It was so different seeing you like this. Ricky had only ever seen your ballet when you were all done up in makeup and tutus. You looked just as graceful and pretty in a basic leotard and tights, long sleeve shrug, wrap skirt, and leg warmers. Shyly, you asked to take a few more videos just so you could check which one was perfect. Ricky assured you that he didn’t mind. You finally sat down to check the videos and eat your breakfast that had cooled. 

“Are you sure you want me to pick?” Ricky asked when you showed him the videos. 

“Just, which do you think looks good? It’ll help me narrow down the videos.” 

He picked two of them. Ricky never noticed before but your nose scrunched up when you concentrated. Eventually, you picked the one you thought was best and sent it in. Ricky jumped in surprise when you suddenly threw your phone in his lap. You couldn’t check your email yourself. Even though Dewey only approved phone use for your audition, you just had to know what the Berklee scouts said— if they even said anything. Ricky couldn’t help but chuckle as you squeezed your eyes shut to brace for the news. He took his time scrolling through your inbox. 

“Stop teasing, I can’t take it anymore.” 

“Okay, okay… I’m sorry Y/N, it looks like you’ll have double work to do in college and you might have to see my face on campus.” 

You popped one eye open. “What?” 

“Dear, Y/N,” Ricky started to read. “After thorough review of your past performances, as well as your current school grades, we at Berklee would like to extend an invitation to join our student body after your graduation next year. The invitation extends to our dance and acting programs. You will be given a scholarship in accordance to your family’s financial status that should prevent you from having to take out any student loans. The amount will be reviewed before each year to account for changes in income. We look forward to hearing a response on your decision in the upcoming weeks. Signed, The Board. Furthermore, after assessing the grades of your colleague and taking into account the performances we saw, we gladly request for you to send the information of Ricky Bowen in your reply if possible.” 

You took the phone back from your friend. “That’s one hundred percent a scouting if I’ve ever heard one. Do you want me to send them your email? Are you thinking about taking it?” 

Ricky took his time to think through his decision as your thumbs blazed through your keyboard to type your response. He decided to give it a shot. Besides, he could always choose to pull his acceptance if he found a college he thought was better. You wouldn’t say it but you hoped that Ricky would choose to go. You would never force any of your friends to stay with you just because you had major anxiety flare ups in new places. But you would love it if somehow they just managed to be with you. So secretly, you were hoping Ricky would accept the offer and come to Berklee. 

“Okay, let me return the phone to Dewey and then you and I have a dance to practice before prom tonight!”

“So why do we have a prom here? And why is it 70s themed?” 

You shrugged your shoulders. “Susan Fine loved dancing or something. And Dewey just really likes disco music. It’s going to be extra fun this year.” 

“Why? Is there another celebrity guest besides Corbin Bleu?” 

“No but Dewey said Corbin and Channing are coming back today to show everyone the trailers for the docuseries. They’re gonna show it before the last dance at prom, it’s airing internationally at the same time. Everyone gets to see us be reality tv famous with the dumb roles Carlos, Val, and EJ assigned us.” 

You stood up to leave. “I’m pretty sure Channing caught my panic attack on camera and I wish I was acting. At least Gina throwing a drink at Kourtney will be entertaining. And Maddox trying to act. I still can’t believe they made her the crier. She has dry eye syndrome, it’s a real condition.”

Ricky just froze as you walked away to turn your phone back in to Dewey. They were airing trailers tonight? There was no way they’d put his confession in the preview, right? Everyone knew that the juicy bits were saved for the actual show. Ricky wasn’t sure how much he could convince himself of that but it was all he had to go on. Paranoid, he looked around for Channing or just a camera. He only got back into focus when you came back. You grabbed both of Ricky’s hands and helped pull him up. 

“So I was thinking a simple pas de deux starting with a pas de chat. And then I interact with EJ at the end because it’d be cute if the reindeer actually was annoyed by snow. Then I���ll run off and we go back to the rest of your song. Sound good?”

“If you explain what a pas de chat is. I know pas de deux is basically just fancy for duet.”

“It’s French, not fancy. And you know that term?”

“I do remember some stuff you say.”

You tried not to laugh too much as you taught Ricky the dance. Some moves you had to change in the moment because it was obvious that they wouldn’t look good in time for the show. Still, the dance was going to look amazing. Especially since most of the advanced and flashy moves didn’t rely on Ricky. You didn’t even put many lifts in there. It had taken your usual partner at Saltwater a solid six months of training and dancing together to lift you consecutively without faltering. You genuinely didn’t know Ricky’s strength and didn’t want to risk finding out. 

He held onto your waist as you showed him how you would turn. You felt Ricky’s fingers tighten slightly. You stopped turning to look at Ricky who pointed at something in the distance. Back on the shore, you could see Channing and the camera. Of course he couldn’t take a day of rest when there was footage to be found. Immediately, Ricky’s hands left your waist. 

“We aren’t going to act for your little show, today! We have real work on the musical, go find someone else to cause drama or deal with boring footage!” You yelled at Channing. 

He didn’t seem to move so you went back to focusing on Ricky and teaching him the dance. Channing would leave eventually when he realized you were serious about not acting for the camera. It was imperative that Ricky learned the dance. The fake docuseries could wait. Besides, Maddox had told you last night about how she and Jett were starting to make up. They even agreed to play it up for Channing to film. Certainly, that would make for better footage. 

When you and Ricky were finished, you saw that Channing was nowhere to be found. That didn’t bother you one bit. You started to take off your pointe shoes that were already ruined from practicing on the deck. That was why you brought this pair though. You always had a relatively cheaper set for outdoor dance. It hurt less the cheaper they were when you saw them ruined by grass or concrete. You set your shoes aside and grabbed some stuff out of your bag to massage your feet. 

“You do this all the time after musical rehearsal, does it help the pain a lot?” Ricky asked as he messed with the ribbons on your pointe shoes. 

You laughed. “It’s not for pain. Some dancers might be okay with ugly feet but I refuse, Richard. That’s why I stuff my pointe shoes. The calluses, I guess I’ll allow but that doesn’t mean the rest of my foot has to look disgusting.” 

You finished massaging your feet and rubbing the lotion in before applying two layers of socks. Ricky helped you up after you tied the shoelaces on your sneakers. He still had your pointe shoes in his hands after you picked up your dance bag. You laced your fingers through his. 

“Time to get ready for prom. Oh and don’t feel forced to do any prom traditions even if EJ seems really enthused about it.” 

“Prom traditions?” Rick asked as you guys stopped outside Honeycomb’s cabin.

“The boys and ice water. The point? Don’t know but it happens every year. I’m sure EJ will tell you all about it if he gets the chance. Well, thank you for escorting back, Mr. Bowen. I will see you at the dance.” 

He gave you a little two finger salute before walking to Yurt Locker. The dance wasn’t until tonight but he already knew that you would be with the rest of the girls until it was time. His little guess turned out to be correct because you were all hyping Gina up for the dance. She wasn’t exactly excited about going solo. EJ didn’t take the break very well. Gina still wanted to see if they had a chance together but it was obvious the separation was needed to figure out life. She was finally on board and was immediately moved to the front of the line at Kourtney’s beauty salon.

Camp prom was always kind of silly but you loved hanging out with the girls beforehand. Getting ready was almost always better than the actual dance. You all chatted while doing each other’s hair and makeup. Everyone gave style advice on the seventies’ outfits. You and Maddox were once again in matching outfits. There was only one year that you didn’t match. This time you were wearing tight denim rompers with long sleeves— like the legs on a mechanic’s uniform got cut off— and ankle-length gogo boots. 

The Barn was decorated to fit the Flower Power theme. Your cabin was fashionably late, the music was already playing nice and loud. Linking hands with the girls, you all gave each other one last nod before walking in like you owned the place.

Ricky and Carlos were at the punch bowl. The 70s theme was different but fun. Fun except for EJ trying to make everyone run lines. He only put the binder down when Carlos reminded him that maybe that was why Gina wanted a break. EJ nodded. He could relax, not let the pressure of his dad get to him that much. At least for one dance. Ricky took a sip of his punch. 

“I feel like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever.” 

Carlos looked at him with a grimace. “I feel like John Travola in Hairspray.”

The gasp and dropped jaw from Carlos garnered the other boys’ attention. They looked over towards the saloon doors to see the girls walking through them. Nearly choking on his drink, Ricky watched you walk in. You were the one to spot them all at the punch table. Breaking apart from the group, you told them you would catch up in a minute. 

“Hello boys… Okay, my makeup skills aren’t that bad.” 

“You look amazing!” Carlos made you twirl once for the full outfit effect. 

“Thank you, are you guys da—”

“Y/N, there’s a photo wall!” Ashlyn came back over to grab your arm. “We’re stealing her. Bye!”

You laughed as you took pictures with the girls. The photo wall had some of the strangest props, including fake mustaches that you thought everyone agreed to leave back in 2013. While you always went to the camp prom, you actually enjoyed it this year. With more than just Maddox around, you felt comfortable enough to just be there and be yourself amongst your little circle. The only time you weren’t taking pictures or dancing with the girls was when everyone went to the bathroom but you and Ashlyn— and then Carlos proceeded to steal Ashlyn to give her a little coming out gift. The music slowed down a bit. Everyone was looking around to grab partners. Ricky was about to approach you when Kourtney grabbed your arm. 

“Can we talk?” 

You motioned to the edge of the stage for you two to sit down. 

“How do you deal with… with anx… an—”

“Anxiety?” you asked gently. 

Kourtney nodded. “We don’t have much longer until the show and I feel like I keep forgetting my lines and I’ve never been away from my mom before with being able to call her. I feel like I’m flailing.” 

“I completely understand. Firstly, I got a therapist— well, my parents did but same difference. Second, the feeling never goes away, Kourt. Not completely. It’s just something we learn to handle. You’ve seen me fall apart more than once.”

“How do you get through it each time?” 

“You know, I don’t know how well I do. My friends help me through it, I do what I’ve learned with my therapist. And I focus on what I really love. You enjoy singing, right, Kourt?”

“Almost more than fashion.” 

“Then don’t let the stage become another place of anxiety. I use it as a comfort. You aren’t Kourtney when you’re up there. You’re Elsa and no one knows you as anything other than Elsa.”

“That was actually really helpful. Do you think you can show me those breathing exercises some time?”

“Totally. But I will warn you that my success rate without help is about sixty percent.”

“Sixty is better than nothing.” 

The two of you laughed as you stood up again. The dj was about to announce the start to a soul train line when Corbin and Channing busted through the doors. While you were less enthused than others, you were still curious about what the trailer for the docuseries looked like. Channing was obviously pleased with everyone’s acting and it was clear he had the skills to edit out mistakes. You just wondered how believable the entire thing would look. 

A thought ran through your brain as you sat on the floor. If the acting was bad would the Berklee majors take away your acceptance to the acting program? You had to laugh at yourself for how ridiculous you were being. Gina and Ashlyn squeezed your hands in anticipation. You were sure that no one listened to Corbin’s speech before the trailer started. You still couldn’t believe that you guys were seeing it just as it aired all over the world. 

It started normal enough. Basic B roll of everyone at camp. Very quickly, the reality show aspect showed itself. You couldn’t say that you were surprised that it started with Kourtney’s judgy line bit. Even though Gina did throw a drink at Kourtney, you were all a bit shocked to see the angle was that they were jealous of each other as leads. Would the audience really buy that when they were playing Anna and Elsa? It would have been an easier sell if it was Ashlyn or you against one of them. Maybe it was just the trailer’s angle and the doc would show a different story. 

A lot of glances were shown between Maddox and Ashlyn, mainly from Maddox’s end. That wasn’t surprising. Most of the footage didn’t seem that bad when edited together. The cast pulled it off better than anyone thought. Even things that seemed way too far fetched at the time ended up looking decent when put together. You and Maddox nearly screamed when Jett’s part came up. 

“I’m in love with the girl playing Elsa and it’s eating me inside.” 

It didn’t matter that it was acting. You knew that was the whole scenario that Carlos envisioned but neither one of you was going to let him live this down. He didn’t even show a lot of emotion when he said it. Your eyes went wide when you saw you and Gina walking together through the camp. When was that filmed? You weren’t acting then. 

“Maybe,” you started to suggest very carefully. “You need a break.” 

“What?”

“I’m saying go explore other options. You know what you want, G.”

Your mouth dropped open. That wasn’t what you said at all. That was the complete opposite of the advice you gave Gina. EJ’s nostrils flared as he looked over at you. 

“Other options? You’re the reason we broke up?!”

You clutched at the belt on your romper, trying to control your breathing. You didn’t do well with being yelled at. Gina patted your knee in reassurance. The trailer wasn’t over yet although you didn’t focus too much on the others. You only paid close attention again when you were shown once more. Your head was on Ricky’s shoulder during the first read-through then it showed you holding his hand and him watching you dance. Your eyebrows scrunched up. What narrative was this? You thought Carlos scrapped your romantic subplot when he realized that his straightdar was so off course for trying to pair you and Jett together. Another scene popped up with Carlos and Ricky sitting at a log bench. Ricky’s entire body tensed up as he saw the scene. Figures they would put it in the trailer. He braced himself to hear his confession played for everyone. You watched the Ricky on screen scratch the back of his head. 

“I think I more than like her. Is that crazy? I couldn’t even say it to Nini but with Y/N… I think I love her, Carlos.”

You and the girls blinked. You felt your head shaking back and forth before you truly registered it. Ricky was sitting two rows behind you just waiting for your reaction. He didn’t expect the tears when you met his eyes. Ricky immediately got up after you when you ran out the barn. You felt like you couldn’t get out of there fast enough. You just wanted to go back to your cabin and cry into a pillow the entire night. 

“Y/N, wait. Wait!” Ricky caught up to you, grabbing your hand. “Y/N, please.”

“Why would you do that? Why would you and Carlos even think that was okay? Why…”

Ricky moved to place his hands on both of your shoulders. “Woah, breathe. Take a deep breath with me. Come on.” 

You felt yourself get pulled into a bear hug after hitting at your chest a few times. Ricky kept telling you to breathe. He tried to slow his own breathing down to help you better. You felt like you had enough control to speak. 

“You should have asked before you did something like that. I don’t even like the idea of blasting my panic attacks on air but I agreed. This was too far. You didn’t have to act like you had a crush on me to add drama. I hate that.”

Ricky pulled away slightly. “What?” 

“I get it, I’m the pitiful character but I’d at least like to know why the audience feels for me so I don’t look like an idiot. And I know we’re friends but I did have feelings for you at one point. It was more than a stupid crush like I said and I feel like you and Carlos just made fun of that.” 

“No! No, I wasn’t making fun of you. It wasn’t an act. I never meant for Channing to pick up on that. I thought Carlos and I were alone.”

“If it’s not an act then…”

“I can’t stop seeing you the way I do. I haven’t been able to see you as a friend since that day we had to come up with a new transformation for the beast mask. I think it was before that, really, but I didn’t realize it until we got back from New York.”

“Since New York? But why didn’t you just tell me?”

“You said you had a crush on me and got over it. Was I supposed to tell you after that? It felt like I’d be forcing you to like me again. I never meant for you to find out, it was always meant to stay between me and Carlos.”

“You didn’t just say you liked me… That video, you think you…”

“Yeah,” Ricky said with a weak chuckle. He just looked at you for a moment. “I love you… Can I kiss you?” 

“Yes,” you said barely above a whisper. 

Ricky’s hands moved from your shoulders to cup your face. His lips gently pressed against yours. Your hands that were pressed between the two of you went to clutch the fabric of his suit. His thumb brushed your cheek as he tried to deepen the kiss. You both pulled apart slowly, laughing, before going in for another kiss.

Pairing: ler!Gina Porter x Lee!Reader

Summary: You accidentally wearing Gina's crop top to school

Warning: Tickling, mouth tickling, this shit is short y'all, my writing is BAD

An: Been on my HSMTMTS brainrot

It's been almost a full hour of you and Gina working on the project together. You both were focused on completing it, although neither of you can understand a damn thing.

“Do you know the answer for number two?", Gina asks, hoping her her prayers work so she can finish this assignment. Bad thing was you were struggling with the same question. “No, I'm on that question.", You say, your eyes glued to the paper, erasing the last few mistakes of the problem. You both thought being paired for this project would be good because of the cute study dates at Gina's house, yet both of you suck terribly at math. Gina sighs, even though it's always a dream come true that her secret date can come over without suspicion from her mother. Luckily Gina had a backup plan for in case this scenario happens.

“I'll text Kourt or Ashlyn if they have the answers.", Gina says, grabbing her phone from her back pocket. You took a brain break from the amount of math you had to learn in a day. Gina did too, looking at you with a tired look but a lovely smile. Looking back at her you adore her beautiful brown eyes, feeling sentimental at the promise ring you gifted her on Christmas. Feeling distracted upon Gina's polished nails you didn't hear her question.

“Are you wearing my shirt?", Gina asks, causing a flushed look upon your face. You thought she couldn't notice by the baggy gray sweatshirt you stole from EJ. But still the purple collar from the pink crop top was visible to Gina. “Oh...yea, you left it at my house last week and I ran out of laundry so I stole it.", You say, feeling happy but nervous. It was true you were too lazy to do any laundry but sometimes you loved the feeling of Gina's clothing. Her scent and her warmth were still connected to the shirt. When Gina leaves away from her acting gigs you cling onto her accessories, feeling apart of Gina when you miss her.

“Are you okay with that? Do you want me to take it off?", You ask, trying to take off your sweatshirt as if you had a spare shirt to change in. The pink crop top was one of Gina's favorites, she's been on a search for days trying to find it. All for it to end up being worn by her girlfriend who mostly wears baggy clothing. “No, it's okay. You can keep it on for now. But...", Gina says, pausing with a smile. You weren't catching on to her giddy smile and excited hands playing with yours.

“But what?", You ask so innocently. Gina smile has on a smile, holding in her question wondering what response you'll have. But from the big ass grin you had and not recognizing Gina's hands were close to your thigh she knows you'll be quite oblivious to her trap.

“Would you mind...taking off your sweatshirt?", Gina asks. You did as you were told and took it off, with Gina's help. Because of Gina's more feminine fashion sense you rarely borrow her clothes. Yet if you took a deep dive in her closet you can see five of your sweatshirt hung up and ironed. You felt a chill from your lower back after taking it off. You felt as if a part of you was stripped away as you usually don't sport the crop top fashion. You sit up awkwardly, feeling insecure about wanting to rock a shorter, and tighter shirt.

“Hey, you look like a rockstar in my shirt okay? I love it, and I love you.", Gina says, reassuring you of all your insecurities. Feeling comfortable in your skin you lean in to kiss Gina. You stop a few times before Gina closed in to create a delicate kiss. Leaning back you felt her touch wriggle around your sides, feeling a small probe. It was ignorable after the first few, but Gina relentlessly went harder to get a reaction out of you.

“GINA! GINAHEHEH!!", You say, giggling thru the kiss. You tried to take her naughty hands away but she fought back harder, and deeper against your side and hips. You tug from her but you felt her weight on you, continuing to attack you with tickles. “IT TICKLESHEHEHE!!", You say, laughing out loud with speaky fits of laughter.

“Yea you don't say.", Gina says, teasing you,“Honestly I didn't know how ticklish you were until now." She teases you as if she isn't tickling you almost everyday. It's a battle to get thru Gina's tickles. Her impeccable strength and quick fingers leave you helpless against her. “SYPPSTOPHAHAGAHA!!", The laugh gets louder, and now you start to understand the truth behind Gina's trickery.

You try to pull down the crop top to cover any piece of skin possible. It was no use, it was stuck on you for good, and exposed all the areas Gina was feasting on. “Aww what's wrong? You can't cover that cute belly?", Gina teases, having you in a smile you can't tame. You tried pulling up your sweatpants but you still felt Gina's pokes. You couldn't escape, especially not with Gina's nice lips on your tummy ready to blow raspberries. “EEEEHAHHAHAHA!!", You say, laughing while your hands turn into fists. They cover around your red face, laughing thru Gina's scribbles.

“I should let you wear my clothes more often. They seem to really fit you.", Gina says, still scribbling your tummy and dipping her finger upon your belly button. You laugh, still not budging against Gina pinning you down. For Gina to complain that sports aren't her thing she sure is strong. “I WON'T WEAR YOUR CROPTOPS HWHHWHE!!", You laugh, swearing you won't make this mistake again (but you will). Gina knows you will if she ever plans on leaving her whole wardrobe at your place again.

“STOPHAHAHHQHQ!!!", You say, laughing at the raspberries and tummy kisses she's giving you. But it all stops once Gina hears a car pull in at her driveway. She decided to go softer upon your tummy so her mother doesn't suspect any funny business.
