FINALLY GETTING TO MEET CHELLE (@yutagirlie) IN PERSON!!! 😭❤️

getting souvenirs from a local shop and being told 3/4 of the members were in there earlier 🫠🫠

(it had to have been mark and chenle for sure, but the other 1-2 members are a toss up. jisung maybe??? jeno???? 🤷‍♀️)

randomly seeing a Jeno bday truck around pike place market before the concert <3

also jisung is such an incredible live performer fr even when he isnt the center, he puts 100% into his dancing and has incredible stage presence 👌

I LOVE writing about songs. It's the easiest way for me to write, honestly. I guess that speaks more to the song-artist than about me hehehe. The second I hear a song I like, I envision a whole story about the lyrics. Noah Kahan has been KILLING me for months. His new song Forever just officially dropped today and I can't with "we can't make rent, so we window shop." I have lots of ideas based on songs rolling around in my head and you can see how quick I write when I have a song that makes the story easier based on some of my older work (not that I'd recommend reading anything older it's trashy af).

you asked about the spy au. god. i wish i knew? like, im not sure how the lore works. i know we have criminal syndicates, the bulls and the cavallino rampantes (i take no criticism on this xD) and i know im thinking of a sort of. man from uncle kinda setup? for the good guys, but i dont have a centralized thrush. its vaguely james bond and john le carre inspired also, bcs im a sucker for those, but for other stuff, i legitimately have no fucking idea. it will come to me at some point, and knowing myself, everything will make it into the text. or i will talk your ear off with my worldbuilding. <333

i actually had to think about this a lot. i usually make sure to include at least hints in my writings, if for nobody else, for myself. but remembering any of it without re-reading the fics... hmmm. imma answer other questions then come back to this if i remember anything xD

OH I REMEMBERED. in the princess of monaco au, when seb and charles meet in the club and talk, when charles is drunk, seb already has a beginning of a crush on charles. then he makes himself stop, because charles is sixteen, as jules tells him, and he feels like an absolute bastard, so he keeps as far away as possible. thats why later, when they meet again and charles says "i cant go till im 18" seb kinda blanches. enzo isn't that far off in his freakout, but i have to clarify seb would never do anything, in fact he's gonna agonize over it a lote in general, but like. he thought the kid was cute, and he has morals, so he freaked. xD

oh it has to be charles in my princess of monaco au. that is my therapy, that's just, idk, i love that version of him so much. he's very. close to my heart there. very close second is the way i wrote aredhel in his brother's keeper. idk why, i just love her there so very much, although she doesn't appear that much? and maybe azaghal in ardent red heartbreak, because, well. it's seb. :) however, lalwen has my heart all over, ngl. her and cirdan are adorable :)))

Eleanor x Tahani fic rec - First Edition

So these are the ones I’ve liked so far.

An Analysis of Attempt 218 and Why It Failed, Or Human Feelings are Stupid and Annoying and Surprisingly Unpredictable. by ao3 author Amazing_E_ko - OMG if you haven’t read this, you haven’t read eleanor x tahani fics yet. THIS IS FOR REAL LIKE A LOST TGP EPISODE. It is so good, I sometimes feel like this actually happened in the show, and it’s so well-written, you can tell the writer studies characters and the show neatly. I’m not even gonna spoil the set up or the plot, just go read it if you haven’t, period.

Enough by ao3 user grumpyhedgehogs - one of the best, simply put. The plot is that everyone is alive and Tahani saves Eleanor’s life in a parking lot. 1 chapter, but not a oneshot, very original story-telling by connecting flashbacks of Tahani’s life to her present now that she’s met Eleanor. It’s so good and lovely, it really sold me a beliveably scenario in which Tahani is the one with a crush first, and it warmed my chest, go read it.

Sleepless in Sydney by kesdax - UGH listen, everything that’s written by kesdax is good. This is a oneshot set in S3 when the brainy bunch is in Australia, the plot is simple, it’s cute, it’s sexy, if that’s what you’re looking for, just go for it.

Hotter Than Hell by @terapsina - One of those short ones that leave you wanting for more, according to the author themself, it was written... for reasons. Rated T.

Soulmate, Shmolmate? by ao3 author donutsweeper - This one’s the definition of meet-cute, and for someone who ADORES first kiss fics, this one does a marvelous job in its few lines. 10/10 adorable.

Down in the Undergrowth by ao3 author burglebezzlement - how to describe this fic... the plot is very original (author’s summary + notes: “Michael sends Eleanor into the wilderness to search for a door. Tahani volunteers to join her. Because Eleanor’s a bad person. She’ll need Tahani’s help. Won’t she?”; “Can be read as either canon-departure just after S1E9, or alternatively, as something that takes place in The Good Place 2.0 after things have played out for a bit and Eleanor's secret has been exposed.”) , it’s a slowburn, it’s lovely how Eleanor x Tahani connect and bond, it made me feel warm and fuzzy. 1 Chapter. GOOD AUTHOR ALERT, these are more works that I loved by the same author, which are all 1 chapter and with a plot that is cool and lovely moments between Eleanor and Tahani: True Love Is What Janet and Jianyu Have, Strange as Angels, and Hell Takes All the Credit.

loathing, unadulterated loathing by @toast-the-unknowing - 1 chapter au where they’re roommates, I wasn’t very game when I read it was, but trust me, it’s cool. The set up of the universe is beliveable and on point to the characters and I just enjoyed it so much. I hadn’t felt so entertained by a fic in a while til I found this one.

it’s a little thing by ao3 author allthingsgo (they have a tumblr i think, but it has no posts, so i don’t know if it’s migrated or...?) - this author will have you believe Tahani is a lesbian, for real. I hadn’t smiled so much while reading a fic in a while. I was in awe of author’s skills to write something so adorable in such an organic fashion which goals tbh. Oneshot, where Tahani and Eleanor decorate the place for christmas, in the author’s words: this is about Tahani unabashedly finding Eleanor adorable.

Want What You Wish For by @intosnarkness - this was one of the first M rated fics that I read and liked, it’s very well-written. Rather than being about reboot #218, it’s set up in reboot #333 when everybody’s soulmate is a pet. It’s just 1 chapter, but it’s not exactly a oneshot in the way it’s written. 

Good Enough for You by ao3 author JeremyBearimy - It’s chaptered, it’s not finished, and I wasn’t keen on how it sets the mood up in the first chapter, but if you want a shameless smut, it’s good, let’s just say that.

One Hundred Percent Seems Excesive by ao3 author grumpyhedgehogs - this author blessed me for a good few weeks, cause they wrote 100 drabbles. That’s right. 100 drabbles of Eleanor x Tahani mostly established relationship that has quite a variety to offer.

I...uh... I wrote a fic too, 1 chapter, rated T, I’m kind of embarrased to link it here after all of these wonderful ones, cause it’s not as good and I really can’t write for the excentricities of the filthy rich like Tahani, and I don’t completely grasp the essence of Eleanor Shellstrop, BUT I wrote something I wanted to read, it was fun to write, so maybe read it? It’s called Let us be wrong and let’s being, inspired by one Shakira song that’s gay af, the fic is set in S3 when they’re all alive and being annoyed by Trevor, and I plan to write a sequel.
