i feel the same baby. i say, setting my bag on the counter and stretching my back some, feeling particularly sore. i make my way to the couch and plop down with a sigh, looking at our little living room and wondering how everything could fit.

we might need a new couch, i think aloud, glancing down at the sofa and thinking it might not look right, especially with our rapidly growing family. and stuff for aiko, too. i rub my bump lovingly as i think, can’t wait to set up her little nursery with you, love

HI YES okay so i got incredibly inspired to make this on MULTIPLE levels, and after releasing an okay-looking chuuya sketch, i wanted to make something a little nicer. SO! ghibli art-style howl au skk @sensitiveheartless 🥹 i wasnt kidding when i said this au lives rent-free in my brain; this was a really fun exercise on a lot of levels between practicing a little different rendering, trying out the ghibli art style, and fun dynamics :3 hope you're having a good day/evening, and that this treats you well!

you know those fics where the plot is like. sterek who had something but it didn't escalate to anything. and then they get back together a couple months/years later when they're all healed or whatever.

ok that but imagine it with derek who is down bad for stiles and KNOWS stiles is the biggest swiftie to exist and. and basically follows taylor's advice in "how you get the girl" to get stiles...

like idk HOW it would work but it would be PERFECT.. derek goes to stiles apartment and it was RAINED so perfectly and of course derek is all heartbroken puppy in stiles' doorsteps and of course it's stiles so he will obviously say "derek, are you insane?! it's pouring out there! come in!" because, derek thinks, even if he broke stiles' heart, of course stiles would still care about him and let him in because this is stiles we're talking about and he'll always be nice and perfect

and when derek's inside and all dried up and surrounded by stiles' perfect, amazing scent, he sees the moment stiles' frown and his brows furrow probably to be mad at derek finally for suddenly being here after breaking up with him or whatever and instantly derek is like [opens up taylor swift vault in mind] "it's been a long [however time it's been] and i was too afraid to tell you what i wanted" because of COURSE taylor's lyrics perfectly fit what derek wanted to say and then cue stiles' slack expression as he looks at derek and derek takes the cheesy one step forwards to stiles, cups his face with his palms and goes "i want you for worse or for better, i would wait forever and ever for you. i know i broke your heart but i'll put it back together"

and then stiles having the craziest moment of his life because hello. DEREK HALE CONFESSING TO HIM but also. those words. are those. did he just. DID YOU JUST QUOTE TAYLOR SWIFT AT ME?!?

i'm spinning in circles and giggling maniacally. i'm working on a super SUPER ambitious silver animatic and i've made so much PROGRESS i'm so EXCITED!!!!! i started it just abt a week ago and i finished the full rough pass in 2 days and by now, i have 40/60 shots fully sketched out. i want. blinks. i want to fully color it. i'm GIDDY

okay wait laughingstock concept Incoming: so im imagining some of the neighbors (maybe Julie & Frank) noticing that Barnaby & Howdy are a lil fruity, yk yk. and Julie's like damn, i guess we have to play matchmaker here.

so naturally they wind up getting the whole neighborhood involved. everybody's a wingman here. Poppy's dropping hints when Howdy drops off groceries, Wally is constantly asking Barnaby to go get him things from the bodega, etc etc. Howdy and Barnaby are facing this sudden change in town-wide behavior with slight concern and bemusement

eventually - lets say Julie, Sally, and Wally - get Barnaby into the bodega and then abruptly leave like "don't have too much fun without us you two *wink wink nudge nudge*". once they're gone (read: very obviously hiding outside & watching through the window) Barnaby & Howdy turn to each other like:

Barnaby: you think we should tell them we're already married?

Howdy: let them have their fun - they'll figure it out eventually
