I've been watching Hazbin Hotel in prime. Just watched episode 5 and I gotta ask

Why, oh, WHY DON'T I SEE MORE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT "MORE THAN ANYTHING" WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE HAZBIN HOTEL MUSIC???

Like I get it, the song before it "Hell's Greatest Dad" Is a bop reminiscent of other music from the era its parodying. I loved it.

BUT why are you only putting clips of that song when this MASTERPIECE comes a few minutes after

I honestly don't even know where to begin with this song. The visuals are beautiful, especially when we get moments like this where you can just see the absolute LOVE this man has for her daughter is so sweet and Heartwarming I just-

The voices are fenomenal but what else can you expect from the broadway talents of Erika Henningsen and Jeremy Jordan.

There is also the whole Symbolism with passing the baton to the next generation and stuff. I- I can't even get into the specifics right now Im too emotional.

oh gosh honestly i get inspiration from all over-- my style was sorta cobbled together from a bajillion different sources that i cherrypicked what i liked from and then evolved it from there. A lot of it probably comes from growing up on fantasy books published in the 70s-80s, tbh; theres a very particular cadence to many of them that i think echoes in my writing quite a bit. I also uh, read Beowulf when i was 11, so that may have had something to do with it too 😅😅😅

Its funny looking back on things from my childhood and seeing where a lot of inspo comes from-- i also grew up reading norse and greek mythology so im pretty sure some of the poetry of those storytelling conventions rubbed off on me. I definitely know there are a few fic authors out there whom i shamelessly incorporated bits and bobs of their writing styles into mine because i loved them so much. But yeah its basically a giant melting pot of different inspirations in here SKDNWKDNSKS thank you for the question!! :DDD

50$ to print 10 of the same skin has always been so insane to me. you're telling me it's 50$ to print....only 10.....of a single skin....and that's normal. And not only is that normal, that's what's required for a skin shop. where ppl may not even sign up for 10 runs. and then you're left in the shitter with at minimum 1-4 skins nobody wanted (not to mention if some people decide not to pay afterward) that you have to just pray someone finds & buys on the auction house. And it's 50$. Uhuh. And then that's just the artist's issue and fault and we're gonna blame them instead of the fact that a 10 print run costs as much as groceries.

Eiji was pleased to know that he didn't run off to a completely new location, but was still absolutely dumbfounded at how Ankh hadn't been expelled yet, given how little he actually showed up for class, he was extremely lucky the principal was such a strangely lenient man— "Come on we have to get to class."
