I feel like I've grown so much as a person the past couple years but not in like...quantifiable ways. I am very proud of myself.

#its little things #ive done a little more introspection about what i like and why i like it and tried to apply that to other areas of my life #and ive started actively working on embracing feeling uncomfortable and doing things that make me anxious anyways #feel like ive become a Human Person rather than an abandoned building #im very very proud of me. i hope the progress continues #this post brought to you by: me #saw that post thats like “you ever get surprised by your own reoccurring issue” and realize no!#ive actually taken big steps to confront my reoccurring issue (preferring the devil that i know rather trying something different/scary)!!!#shes still there. its still easy to stay in a familiar sadness. but im reaching for hope so hard! and ive almost caught it!

I am curious where Irida came from as the accidental parent… personally didn’t get that vibe from playing but. Curious.

less of a dad more of an uncle for irida in my eyes but anyway presumably it's cause he's (likely) the oldest male character in her vicinity and an older guy around a much younger girl usually gets a dad label. + irida has like...troubles as the sudden and iirc unprepared head of the pearl clan. so a troubled young lady that could maybe use some guidance there's something there. ingos been in hisui for an unspecified amount of time if you assume he was there when irida was much younger then theres something there too.

#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH #i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing #this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only #know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that #make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3 #the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design #so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery #i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess #my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty #originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY #but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw #my art #myart #hatsune miku #miku worldwide #philippines #vocaloid #miku

one of my fave things about spiders is how they walk. theyre so thoughful and melodical about every step and i think thats really cute. they pause when they're unsure and approach everything with this poise about them.

from the perspective of my engineering degree, its also really cool how they move their legs using hydraulics of their own haemolymph (bug blood).

they also have little toe beans. thats also great.
