he's gonna have so many dinosaurs one day. his second one is on the way atm. man fished up a dino egg n his whole life shifted trajectory. his first dino is named neo btw. he has a black cat named nyponsoppa n a horse named laurel. he got another pet bowl set up but then choked at the price of actually getting another one.

he nearly cried at the fair after losing a lot of tokens to that dumb wheel goddammit. he nearly stayed a few extra hours to see how many tokens he could get and to glare at the guy running the stall, if you can even call it that. he did win the grange display but he gambled and lost all those tokens.....

thoughts on the fionna and cake ending

-it was a bit boring. ok not Boring just, not on the same level as all the other eps? especially not on the same level as the previous two (the star+jerry). like it was more of a Cake the Cat ep. it was fine just not world shattering and thats fine ig

-that being said the casper&nova scenes were sooooo boring i couldnt care less. it kinda made me feel like they wanted to show shermy and beth but didnt know how so they just made up whatever??? it wouldve been cool to see more of future Ooo instead of. whatever that was. they couldve made the parallel to simon and betty some other way. or even if they absolutely Needed to show thay weird video game they couldve made it like one scene and shorter lol. tho the detail of it had being astrid that started the story was cute

-i actually liked the resolution to betty and simons relationship. again they couldve shown More of it instead of it just having like, one scene, but i liked how they did it. getting them back together in a fairytail Everything Works Out And Theyre Happy Ever After!!!! wouldve completely taken away from how tragic their entire story is, but making something even worse happen wouldve just made simon feel worse and his character development wouldnt.... exist much lol. having simon come to terms with it, SEND HIM TO THERAPY THANK FUCK and try to move on w his life is exactly what i was hoping for

and i looooove how they portrayed their relationship. ive seen ppl be mad ab it but like didnt yall like that is was codependent and insane and they were obsessed w each other to the point theyd destroy their life for one another? OBVIOUSLY its going to be unhealthy. thats not saying simon is a bad person, or that they didnt love each other. they obviously did. simon loved betty more than anything. but he was selfish. unintentionally, yeah, he didnt realize how dependent/obsessed she was with him and that she just went along with anything he did which i dont feel its his fault, but it still happened, and it still affected her, it made her get deeper into that. its a new spin on their relationship that feels really real and i really like that. yeah turns out that when ppl are so obsessed w someone that they go insane and almost destroy the world twice thats probably indicative thay theres something wrong there who wouldve thought!!!!

adventure time is The "people have flaws" show (bonnie, marcy, finn, jake, etc etc all the characters are shown to be selfish sometimes snd to varying degrees! and theyre all still good people! theyre still just people) so it feels a bit insane to see ppl acting like the show saying "simon too btw" means theyre portraying him as irredemably bad

-i didnt want the fionna world to completely change and go back to bein magic but i was at least hoping the characters world :( like a "modern with magic" situation it wouldve been cool. and the farm/baby/vampworld characters coming in felt a bit random but like eh sure whatever

-we shouldve seen marcy and simon interacting when he got back. even if it was just like a interaction without dialogue in some sort of epilogue sequence theyre so incredibly important to each others story and the show even made sure to show us that and we get nothing????? the lack of a scene where he talks to her about how hes feeling and how he almost put on the crown again felt so!! FRUSTATING. the scene in ep two where he calls her even felt like it was setting up for a scene like that! im so mad we got nothing. like i understand the adventure time market is flooded with marceline so maybe they didnt want to focus on her much but still theyre too linked for that relationship to get completely ignored in the Last Fucking Episode of the show

ok wow i just finished bojack horseman season 6. the date is 4th April 2022 and its 9:13 AM. i've taken quite some time to write this down. spoilers below the cut

first off- bojack going to rehab was so good for him. and him trying not to leave but being forced out was so sad. he clearly wanted NEEDED more help but no one was listening. and then him getting the horse therapist drunk too was just heartbreaking. bojack didnt mean to do that, but he still did.

princess carolyn is a queen- the way she balances her baby and work and just life in general is portrayed beautifully. the industry wedding at the end was also so accurate to her character and it makes me happy to see her happy. her moment in the finale with bojack is definitely her best moment because for the first time- she's moving on from her codependency with bojack and letting him grow on his own.

mr peanutbutter is definitely bojacks real friend. i used to really hate mr peanutbutter, but by the end of this show ive grown to realise i hated how he ignored all his flaws. now that he knows that he's flawed, hes actually a pretty damn good guy. him and diane sucked together tho.

for the first half of the season, i kept my opinion on bojack constant- that he's a flawed man horse and he needs therapy to better himself. but the moment i learned he waited seventeen minutes- every reasonable opinion i held on him morphed into pure hatred. sarah lynn was my baby, she was my favorite, she was me. i saw myself in her. and bojack, someone she loved and trusted, left her to die. everyone failed sarah lynn.

ok im calm, next up is todd shenanigans. i do this thing where i favorite episodes because of certain scenes / quotes which hold great meaning to me. the kidney stays in the picture is one of my favorite episodes for that exact reason. todd telling jorge that hes happy and thats all that matters was like me watching a video of me in the future. i know what i want for my future and i know my family will disown me for it so seeing a character like todd stand up to his father for it makes me think i will be able to do that too.

wowowow diane. diane is a character ive been feeling grey about lately since she is such a hypocrite. but i feel like ever since being with guy and leaving la- she's changed for the better. her final moments of the show are definitely hypocritical but she is hypocritical. and tbh im just glad her and bojack are officially seperate as friends / people. being the anchor for someones sobriety SUCKS its SOOOO much pressure and i hate it, diane deserves the happiness she recieves with guy.

and one final take i have is that bojack's ending as a survivor is good. he shouldnt have died. as someone who recognises herself in bojack on certain occasions, watching him die would've broken me. it truly would've made me think that im hopeless and only death will save me. but as time's arrow marches forward, i will improve myself and i will keep living.

five was exposed to 45 years worth of air pollution & city wide fire smoke. its a pretty big fandom hc that five is against smoking bc of this. ofc the writers don't have to bow to fanon interpretations but it does feel a bit weird seeing five pick up that cigar considering his implied relationship to smoke. plus theres the wildly obv connection to his abusive dad here since they're reggies cigars.

& there is canon evidence to back up his disinterest in smoking. he makes time to find copious amounts of alcohol but he never touches drugs (klaus) or cigarettes (smoke).

that aspect of the scene felt to me that the writers were handing five a prop to make him look older, instead of trusting that the audience can remember that he is 58.

ik theres other interpretations of this - hes subconsciously mimicking reggie to try to intimidate viktor, hes consciously trying to make himself appear older to intimidate viktor, hes picking up smth familiar/taboo to ground himself etc etc

in general i didn't like the scene bc it made five feel very hypocritical when he's usually pretty self-aware. he knows killing is bad, he knows hes a bad person, he knows a lot of what he does hurts himself and the people around him. yet he tells viktor off for doing the one thing five has actively defended himself for doing - going off alone and killing people for the betterment of the family.

i do fluctuate on this opinion tho, as in context with his later positive treatment of viktor its p ok and a good character moment for viktor. mostly it stresses me out when five threatens his relationship with his siblings.

ok first of i LOVED what they did with mike's character???? its different from the games canon (or different from the most popular theories??? i can never remember what is actually canon and whats accepted fanon) but its sooooo interesting. making him the brother of one of the victims was SO unexpected but it worked really really well. tho going into the movie with preconceived notions ab the story fucked me up somewhat bc i took so long to accept he wasnt michael afton 😣 tho i feel the movie mightve been setting fans up that way lol

on that note his brother confused me somewhat? cuz he was one of the missing children but he wasnt one of the 5 spirits was he??? maybe he was and i just didnt notice KSBSKDBSKD ill look out for it on my second watch

another thing that was completely different from the game was the animatronics. like in the game theyre "like animals" but in the movie they all seemed very, aware??? msking decisions? they def had a mind and it was cheesy sure but i also liked it. i just loved this movie. and everything about it. i went into it knowing it was absolutely not going to be 1:1 with the game so i dont mind im just so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shang after a certain amount of times he got his ass kicked by liu kang (my hc verse the whole thing in aftetmath did happen but things got "reset" and everyone sorta lived but don't remember shit cept in vague dreams n visions well the gods do at least. Therefore i can keep some things while rearranging the furniture so to speak. The crown is rewritten as an elder god artifact and shang only added to it not created it. And kronika gets killed off waaaaay before any of that shit. And is rewritten to be an elder god of time(of future) and geras(of past) because f that stupid titans bullshit. Cetrion is rewritten to be a main antagonist and more important. And basically I'm making this way better than canons shitshow of a so called "plot" ). He got sent to gay baby jail . And now is fighting for his freedom. Many years go by. Every 10yrs or so he can challenge for his freedom. In a minor tournament of mortal kombat. No fatalities,no powers,only fists. Basically a normal martial tournament however fatalities are not required,only suggested. However you still only get 3 mercys/friendships/sparings. Because rule of 3. Anyways. Basically shang is lonely,desperate and tired.

So....here comes me. Washed up randomly on his beach. (I haven't come up with any true background before yet. So go easy on me.) And shang's like owo whats dis?! Because look this binch aint got none in how long? And also is hella desperate to get free like i said. Theres more to it but I'll leave it at that for now.

At first he's like

Then he's like

And then somehow,some way anyway. Entered into a minor tournament. Either snuck in or he gave in. Either way.

Shang isn't happy. But he allows it,under close supervision.

But somehow. By a miracle. I win

This pleases shang. Now he has his freedom. Lucky for them thats all he got. And nobody truly died. But shang is now a free dude. And no longer bound to his island.

But of course shit dont stay so sweet because its mortal fuckin kombat.

This asshole gets resurrected somehow,and kidnaps me because reasons.

But it's ok because he saves me. And that's when things get super serious for me n shang. And he of course gains his youth and vitality more back(which would be jarring for me ngl but its all good). And of course after that close call he trains me slightly in magic,only enough for defense of course. Nothing major. As he doesn't want me to not only surpass him.(its shang ok you knew this was gonna be a problem) but also because he wants me to not end up like him. The one pure soul he cares for. That and some dope ass magic armor.

And after that pretty much we live on the island for the most part in peace.

Minus the occasional outside problem or two

(Srry for the mk legends shang tsung spam tho. Because bruuuuuh. He is hella cool in that movie. Nothing beats tagawa,he's the og after all. But mk legends BOTR and SR shang tsung is dope af design. The voice is ok. I always imagined shang to have a lower set voice tho. Mellow and snakey and almost hypnotic. Like fr. Smooth like butter. Because how else can someone so notoriously snake tongued be not having a voice that sound delicious? And also knows Exactly how to treat someone? Or exactly what to say or comfort. Like fr. This is basic 101. (I do believe shang tsung can love deeply. And genuinely. Its just been a hot ass minute since that and he dont trust easy due to a lot of factors but a majority of that is when he was in service under shao Khan)

thoughts about frontiers after beating it obvs this will b spoilery so read at ur own risk bcus BOY i need to ramble

GOT DAM WHAT A GAME.....WOW JUST WOOOOOO omg ok

first the islands were very fun to play through. i 100 percent mapped them bcus i was obsessed with running around finding things, doing the side story bits and challenges. enjoyed the platforming a lot 2 around the world! my first sonic game was forces so tbh playing frontiers was a bit of a learning curve bcus its a lot more involved i think. like with the bars u swing round i fucked up so much at first but they r very fun once u get used 2 them. i like how some of the platforming was tied together so u could go from one 2 the other when u get it right!! also with doing the challenges unlocking more ride rails around the islands if u wanted a quick get around

enjoyed the guardians a lot 2!! faves were that of ares island tbh i enjoyed the strider and shark ones. fuck the tank tho. the last island guardians made me want to explode bcus i cannot parry. so i just kill with sonic boom instead

also just the general layout of the islands was good as well. amen for the marker placing but i like that they did make u work 2 get 2 some places. like getting the sixth chaos emerald

general gameplay was good 2!! i got the whole skill tree for fun bcus i wanted to see how everything worked. sonic boom was by far my fave. killing and maiming

cyberspace was also fun 2! ik they reused level design but i actually found it fun recognising level layout like from sa2, generation and unleashed. also having different routes and the missions did make me replay a few levels a couple time bcus i liked the satisfaction of clearing all four of them (tho i got lazy towards the end bcus i was buzzing 2 see the final boss). one gripe about it tho my god the cameraaaa. maybe it was just me but the fixed camera honestly fucked me over for some of levels. in open world it was mostly ok like when u got it 4 the 2d esque platforming but for cyberspace it made things a bit harder. but i still enjoyed it anyway but fuck you sky sanctuary all my homies hate sky sanctuary

boss fights i will take about later but uhh characters!! IM SO HAPPYYYYYY sonic characters when they r actually done right my beloved. i love how amy is becoming more independent (which eggman literally mentions in his memos) and not that 2d chasing sonic girl. its nice to see her get actual character depth and have her b more insightful. it was nice to see i adore amy so it made me smile. also loved her interactions with the koco honestly they were besties. and i love how sonic cares and doesn't brush her Off. ik he gets a little mad but its more just not like hes fr mad at her more like i really want to help you like i dunno how 2 describe it but yknow. it was nice to see how much he cared about her. and i think its nice 2 see that shes grown up a little and is more independent, excited to see where she'll go in the future.

knuckles and sonic my god fruity as FUCKING ANYTHING. genuinely made me giggle they were very funny together which i missed bcus they jest!! theyre silly guys who know how 2 be serious. also knuckles and his autism about all the history of the islands was so lovely it made me happy 2 see him b like yknow!! not b made fun of or what not. yknow hes still got that degree of 'grew up alone and away from most modern things' but they don't make him seem stupid for it yknow. also the moments between him and sonic that r more serious r done well and not like twisted into a joke or anything. if they do tease each other they play fair. they both respect each other even if they get on eahc others nerves. they gay yknow?

AND TAILS. HAND IN MY FUCKING MOUTH MILES TAILS PROWER. god his interactions with sonic really brought back the big brother little bro dynamic ive been missing rather than just guy and his sidekick. its nice to see tails have hangups about stuff and sonic not just teasing and actually sincerely talking about it with him. also tails talking to sage about how he trusts sonic with his life her observation of them being a family even if not genetically so. it was just very nice 2 see the dynamic come back again. also excited 2 see how tails does in the future as well, believing in himself and all. also I LOVE that u can see sonic in tails between the mimicking expression. also tails technology autism straight from the beginning amen.

for sage and sonic it was kinda funny 2 see his expression like boy was tired of the vagueness but yknow he also tried to play nice when he gets knuckles to not attack her and just trying 2 get her to open up a little. in particular the one scene on chaos island where hes a bit snippy with her bcus hes tired and hurting honestly but once she leaves he kinda :[ bcus he does want to help her if she would just listen.

sage and eggman oh my god. rotates. the egg memo talking about what if sage was like maria. oh my god i read thru them and just seen the increasing affection from him 2 her really drove me nuts /pos. eggman may be evil but god that fatherly affection got me good. the scene at the end when hes watching the shooting stars and he knows shes gone but not for real. bcjs he clenches his fist and you knew he was gonna get her back. bcus thats his girl.

sonic himself was such a breath of fresh air honestly he wasn't a jerk or dismissive he was the sincere, respectfully teasing loyal as hell guy we know and loved and missed. his character in this game was so perfect 2 me. tails is right he is not perfect u see him get mad and snappy sometimes but its bcus he cares and hes doing everything he can to help his friend s. he is so dedicated while also keeping them company and talking things thru with them. i missed his serious side as well. he knows when not to fuck around and what he needs to do. god it was lovely.

animation. explodes A MOVE AWAY FROM THE MASCOT SYNDROME. they r using small blue anthropomorphic hedgehog anatomy 2 their advantage bcus he is not gonna move like a real person. the bounce of the animation, the use of eyebrows for expression, EAR WIGGLES. it was so nice and fluid. everytime i got into a fully animated cutscene i exploded everytime bcud UGHHHHHHH it just scarcthed my brain. also the changes in sonics idle pose as u progressed thru the story bcus of the cyber corruption. biting a pillow. i felt bad making him run around once i got 2 rhea island bcus HE WAS TIRED. HE WAS TIRED AND HURT!!! go take a nap for one week boy.

in terms of story i enjoyed mysf a lot. the ai vocie actually ending up being the enemy was not my expectation. honestly my major impression was sage being the villain and belonging 2 the islands when she is in fact eggmans creation. so that was a twisty bit for me. i liked the lore!!!! learning new stuff about old things like the emeralds was cool i love new info on things!! also the million callbacks to old games that gave that hint of continuity like name dropping old game events or bosses . god it made me pig everytime honestly considering the inconsistentcy of the timeline here. ESPECIALLY WITH REFERENCES TO OTHER CHARACTERS. LIKE TANGLE god that scratches my brain bcus it connects the idw comics to canon now and that is crazy. i would say one thing that disappointed me was the way that sonic cyber corruption was easily resolved after all the build up for the whole game. i am silly and i was hoping for some aspect of sonic final boss especially with the evil ai i was partially convinced he was gonna get taken over. which wouldve honestly been sick. even if not that i wouldve like to see what sonic was experiencing just standing there like that. tails mentioning he was between realities really has me thinking about what he mightve been doing in that brief amount of time. but yeah i wish there was smth more of it but i have stuff 2 draw out later so its ok. was convinced bcus of the shot where amy runs up to him the angle his head is at just makes him look ominous as hell.

boss FIGHTS.GOD I AM BAD AT GAMING BUT I WAS HYPED AS HELL THE WHOLE WAY THRU. wave was the knight one purely for the sword bit at the end my mouth was fucking on the floor watching it. hardest 4 me was the wyvern bcus i cannot fucking parry but thst one has my fave ost. i didnt get the true final boss so i felt the final boss i did get (just supreme and qte for the end) was kinda lacking. but i havent watched gameplay for the hard mode yet so yeah.

AND MUSIC WOOHOO!! jammed out in cyberspace and in the boss fights really hard. i like the tech synth they had for cyberspace but the contrast with metalcore for thr boss fights. i hope they stick with that theme in the future bcus sonic really does sound best with rock.
