HOME-BOUND
Its me again, hi <3 I've made yet another Welcome Home Au called Home- Bound where You're on a Train to Escape Your Mundane Life. Every friendly neighbor has their own cart on the train, with Julie's being the first one you're seated at and Wally's being the conductor car. Make your way through this whimsical little train ride that seems to last for Eternity! Where are you headed? Who knows! Trying to Escape the train once you're on will result in a proper Punishment. If you get off before the train Stops, there will be no moving from the spot that you landed on. Any physical or emotional violence caused to the train will result in consequences varying in severity depending on how much damage you've done. Please do Remember that the train is your Home the train is your Home the train is your Home the train is your Home the train is your H Oh, and one more thing! Don't Forget Your Ticket.
Cars are in order starting from the back. Sleeping/Boarding Car Jullie's Car Poppy's Car Sally's Car Howdy's Car Frank's Car Eddie's Car Barnaby's Car Wally's Car/Conductor Car
First off, We have our Humble Conductor, Wally Darling!
Tumblr media
Being at the front of the Train, Wally has many responsibilities as a Conductor. Once you board the Train, he will come back to the Boarding Car to punch your Ticket. It is Imperative that you have it, lest you be sent right back to the station!
Second up is Barnaby B Beagle! Wally's very very very close "Friend".

In this lovely dog's car, he can be found cracking so many fun jokes! Heck, he has an entire book full of Comedy skits from passengers who were Fortunate enough to make it up to his car all the way from the Boarding car! Though, if you want to leave, you'll have to give him another skit to add to his book!
Next up is the darling Mailman, Eddie Dear!
Tumblr media
This dearest mailman send out all the letters and Tickets to future Residents of the Home Bound Express. He's quite the workaholic, especially during the nighttime hours! If you happen to make it to his car, be in for a load of sorting letters, snacks, and lovely stories about all of his travels on the Train! Poor guy is a afraid of snails too..
Next up is the trains Librarian, Frank Frankly!
Tumblr media
If you enter his car, you'll be greeted with books up the Wazoo! He will insist you look at any one that interests you. The books are written by him and consist an encyclopedia of facts about every existing bug on the planet. Not one bug left out! Unfortunately, if you want to leave, you'll have to take a quiz. Find a book about a specific bug he tells you about, read through it, and then tell him what you learned. Careful not to let the bookflies(book butterflies!) distract you! After you tell Frank the facts you learned, you have to navigate your way through a maze in the garden behind his library. Don't worry, the bugs will guide you!

Who can resist a Pillar who advertises his wares so well? He has everything from the little doodads to wild thingamajigs! Careful you don't get lost in the maze of his stock. If you want to leave, however, you must buy something or solve a little riddle of his!

Careful, too many sweets from this lovely Partridge will send you into a Deep Sleep.
Then we have the lovely Julie Joyful!
Tumblr media
Julie is so playful! If you step foot into her car, you're in for a whole day full of fun games like Tag, Tic Tac Toe, and Hide and Seek! Hide and Seek is her favorite game! Though I can't say the same for her victims Passengers.
And then the Train himself, Home!
Tumblr media
While Home is the train, pictured above is his physical manifestation. If he doesn't have a cup of tea, he'll probably be smoking Candy Cloud, which is their form of tobacco.

PERFECT DUO
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PAIRING idol!mc!sunghoon x idol!mc!reader GENRE fluff, idol au SYNOPSIS when sunghoon forgot his lines, you just know what to do WARNINGS none WC 494 words
Tumblr media
SUNGHOON PACED NERVOUSLY BACKSTAGE, his heart pounding in his chest. This week, he had been given the opportunity to co-host music bank and the thought of standing on that stage, in front of millions of viewers, with you, was enough to make him break out in a cold sweat.
Just as his anxiety reached its peak, he heard a familiar voice calling out to him. "Sunghoon! Hey, over here!"
Relief washed over him as he hurriedly made his way towards you. "Thank goodness you're here," Sunghoon sighed, wiping away imaginary beads of sweat from his forehead. "I was starting to panic.
You chuckled, a mischievous glint in your eyes. "Don't worry, Sunghoon. We've got this. We're going to rock this stage and have the time of our lives!"
Sunghoon couldn't help but be infected by your enthusiasm. "Yeah, you're right," he replied, a determined look on his face. "Let's do this together!"
As the cameras started rolling, the two of you took your positions on the stage, ready to introduce the first act. But just as Sunghoon opened his mouth to speak, a sudden gust of wind blew through the set, causing his cue cards to scatter all over the stage.
"Oh no!" Sunghoon exclaimed, his eyes widening in disbelief. "I can't remember what I'm supposed to say!"
You burst into laughter, unable to contain yourself. "Well, Sunghoon, looks like it's time to put your improvisation skills to the test!" you teased, trying to stifle your giggles.
With a determined frown, Sunghoon took a deep breath and looked directly into the camera. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have a very special surprise for you today!" he announced, his voice filled with confidence. "Instead of following the script, we're going to perform a magic trick!"
The audience gasped in surprise, their curiosity piqued. Sunghoon winked at you, and together, you both began to wave your hands dramatically, pretending to make something appear out of thin air.
"Ta-da!" Sunghoon exclaimed, holding up a plush toy from behind his back. "Behold, the amazing disappearing cue cards! They're gone!"
The crowd erupted into laughter and applause, thoroughly entertained by your impromptu act. Sunghoon couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him, realizing that sometimes, the best moments were the ones that weren't planned.
Throughout the rest of the show, you and Sunghoon continued to bring laughter and joy to the audience. From silly dance-offs between performances to hilarious skits, the two of you improvised your way through the show, turning every mishap into a memorable moment.
As the cameras faded to black, you turned to Sunghoon, a wide grin on your face. "Well, Sunghoon, I'd say we nailed it," you said, playfully nudging his side.
Sunghoon chuckled, the tension of the day finally dissipating. "Yeah, you did pretty good, yn. Good job" he couldn't hide the blush creeping on his cheeks as he let out those words and made his way to the fitting room

ouch | cardinal copia x gn!reader
Tumblr media
summary: copia tries to retrieve a valuable item, you find him in this very unfortunate situation.
content: 1.3k words, awkward copia fluff, mention of blood/minor injury
to tackle my writer's block @leezlelatch gave me a lil prompt (the indented part) because she is the best ♡
Masterlist – Ao3 link
✦ ✧ ✦
Cardinal Copia, on all fours, crawls further under the stone bench just off one of the corridors which frames the courtyard. A rather large bush sits behind it, roots and branches tangled and creating a barrier. He pushes and reaches, cursing to himself as his biretta scrapes against the underside of the stone. Why didn’t he take it off? His cassock covered bottom hangs out into the hallway, shimmying this way and that as he attempts to crawl deeper.
“Can I help you, Cardinal?”
Clunk.
A loud groan followed by a string of Italian curses. His back hits the bench with the full force of his scare. If the burning pain right by his shoulder is any indication he chafed his skin on the rough stone pretty badly, most likely ruining the fabric of his cassock in the process. In an attempt to free himself, his head hits a particularly unyielding branch and a few of his hairs get stuck among the sticks. As he wriggles free, another branch snaps against his face, barely missing his eye as it bites into his cheekbone like a whip. The stinging pain makes him hiss and a spiky leaf uses the opportunity to find its way into his open mouth.
Vaguely aware that someone is still standing behind him, watching all of this unfold, Copia’s face turns the same crimson shade as his vestments. And of course he knows the voice, he’s been imagining, hoping to hear it every second of every day for the last two months. Only he prays to Satan that he is wrong. This cannot be the time his crush approaches him, not like this.
“Cardinal, are you okay?”
Undoubtedly, it is your voice.
Oh no. How long have you been standing there behind him with his butt wobbling in full view? Watching his embarrassing attempt at retrieving the little love note he was writing for you, asking you out on a date, before a gust of wind betrayed him?
Copia crawls out from underneath the stone bench, ready to face his shame with all the dignity he can muster. To his surprise, he feels a hand on his shoulder and you crouch down right beside him, gazing upon him in such genuine concern, not even the hint of a gloating smile on your worry-ridden face. Copia can’t believe you’re not rolling on the floor in laughter at his skit-worthy performance. What a fool he must make! But you only help him up, grasping his elbow as his knees start shaking dangerously and sitting down beside him on the bench. Your hand never leaves his arm, a gentle sort of grip that lets him know you’re not ready to let go until you know he’s well. The pressure is comforting, your fingertips dig into the tense muscles of his forearm.
Impossibly close to you, Copia’s heart now hammers in his chest, his face still hot and burning, but he cannot bring himself to meet your eyes again. Another light breeze carries your perfume to his nose and his stomach does a summersault.
“Cardinal?” Your voice is laced with anxiety. “Cardinal, you’re bleeding.”
That captures his attention and when he finally looks at you again, you’re already fiddling for a tissue.
“Oh, it’s nothing.”
It’s his own voice speaking, undoubtedly, only he doesn’t recognise it. His words are a lie, his back hurts like hell and the burning pain in his cheek isn’t pleasant either. Lucky for him, you’re having none of his feeble attempt at appeasement.
“We need to go and clean your scrape,” you state in full-nurse mode, wiping his cheek so softly he’s barely even feeling it. You’re so close to him he’s sure he can feel your breath tickling his nose. “Cardinal, are you in shock?”
“Hm?”
Copia simply cannot take his eyes off of you and his brain has long since said goodbye to any sort of rational thinking. Oh, how often has he thought of this beautiful face, dreamed about having it within such a comfortable kissing distance.
Then, your voice again. “Cardinal, what did you lose?”
What…
He remembers. Oh, he remembers and the sudden influx of panic ends his reverie.
“Oh, nothing, nothing,” he replies. “It doesn’t matter, sibling, really.”
“I’ll see if I can get it.”
And before he can stop you, you’re crawling under the small bench, right between his slightly parted legs, pushing them apart further. Oh Satan, he’s sure he’s going to have a heart attack any moment now. Your attempt is much more graceful than his, though, and a terrifying minute later (that he does not spend staring at your backside at all) you come back to the surface.
“I got it!” You sound triumphant and the smile on your face makes him forget about the contents on the now crumpled piece of paper until your eyes dart down, undoubtedly catching your own name written in his best cursive. “Oh.”
He wants to rip the scrap from your hands but his muscles make no attempt at moving, no matter how often his panic-struck mind tells them to. Instead he stares at you in horror as you read the words.
Dearest Sibling ______,
Your eyes sparkle like the stars in the depths of the night sky and your smile shines brighter than the full moon. I wish to see it for longer than just a few seconds every day. Please, will you go on a date with me?
☐ Yes ☐ No ☐ Maybe
Yours in hopeful expectation Cardinal Copia
Your eyes finally glance up, then dart back to the page, then back to him. Your lips are so tightly pressed together that Copia simply knows you’re struggling to find the right words to reject him. Even in refusal your kindness is beyond measure, and his heart aches in the most bittersweet way.
“Where’s your pen?” you ask.
For a second, Copia struggles to comprehend. Pen. Right. He reaches into his pocket and retrieves the black-inked fountain pen, handing it to you with shaky fingers. Before he can drop it, your hand closes around the metal, your bare thumb brushing his gloved one. And then it’s gone again.
The cross is done in two swift strokes, though Copia cannot see where you placed it from his angle on the bench, and then you fold the paper neatly in the middle. Even now you look so tense and focused, and when you hand him back the note his anxiety is through the roof. He briefly considers not looking at your answer, half expects you to leave him sitting here anyway and let him die of a broken heart… or the infection he’ll possibly get from his cut.
“Cardinal, won’t you read my reply?” you ask, voice soft, the most subtle hint of a smile on your face.
Copia sighs deeply and unfolds the paper.
☒ Yes
His breath catches, the relief so overwhelming he lets out a shaky sob, running his finger over the cross that you so deliberately, so easily placed there. He swallows the tears, unsure where they even come from. When he finally looks back to you, your face has lit up and you seem to be just as ecstatic as he feels.
Copia jumps up to hug you, but a sudden pain shoots into his back and instead of a happy laugh he lets out a pained groan.
You’re by his side in an instant, wrapping a protective arm around his waist as you tenderly cradle his face with your other hand, careful not to graze his cut cheek.
“Looks like our first date will take place in the infirmary,” you say, smiling in sympathy as you run your thumb over his jaw.
Copia shakes his head. “It may start there, but I have very different plans for how it will end.”
His words earn him a bright smile. When you lean in to kiss his unharmed cheek, he can feel his heart bursting in his chest. He already knows that this day will be worth all the cuts and bruises.

Spiral Out, Try to Float--Logan and Virgil, Hurt/Comfort
Requested by @amateurmasksmith a very long time ago 😭 Apologies for how long this took. School's been crazy!
Summary: Logan has an anxiety attack. Virgil helps him.
Relationships: Platonic Analogical
Words: 610
Ao3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/51837730
The world was spinning. Which, of course, it was supposed to, but not like this.
Logan put his head in his hands, breathing fast. Snippets from his extensive to-do list whirled in his brain. Write current skit. Brainstorm next skit. Schedule meeting with Roman. He squeezed his eyes shut. Deep-clean kitchen. Write next week’s schedule.
Logan knew what he should do, Patton had talked him through things after the last time he’d had an attack like this. Close his eyes, take deep breaths, think of calm imagery. A still lake. The peace of deep space.
He couldn’t seem to get enough control of himself to do any of that now, though. I’ll never get all of it done. Never. He could feel the corners of his eyes begin to prickle with tears. I shouldn’t be feeling this way. I shouldn’t be crying over this.
“Logan?”
Logan’s head snapped towards the door. Virgil leaned against the doorframe, his hands in the pockets of his hoodie, his face contorted in concern.
“Will you—will you—will you close the door?” Logan stammered. Virgil pulled the door shut, walking into the room.
“You okay? Well, I mean, clearly… what’s up?” Virgil sat on the side of the desk; one hand emerging from his pocket to run through his hair.
“I’m—” Logan forced himself to take a long, shuddering breath. “I just have a lot going on.”
“And you’re having an anxiety attack.” Virgil said gently.
Logan took another breath. “No… you have anxiety attacks. I don’t.”
Virgil laughed. “Logan, you absolutely have anxiety attacks.”
“No, I don’t.”
“You’re shaking.” Virgil pointed out. Logan looked at his hand, and sure enough, it was trembling. “You’re having an anxiety attack. It’s okay.”
“I need to get things done. I need to get things done. I don’t—I can’t—it’ll never get finished.” Logan’s breathing got quick again as he refocused on his issue.
“Logan.” Virgil’s hand hovered above his. “Can I touch you?”
Logan’s eyes flicked up to Virgil’s as he nodded. Virgil took Logan’s hand. “Can you focus on me for a bit? Focus on my hand, how it feels in yours.”
Logan closed his eyes, moving his entire awareness to his fingers intertwined with Virgil’s. He noticed every little twitch of his fingers, the weight of Virgil’s hand, the sweat on his palm. His breathing began to slow.
“Good.” Virgil murmured. “Now can you imagine space? Neptune, or the butterfly nebula, or… anything like that?”
Logan almost smiled at that. He’d rambled enough about space that Virgil knew it was an interest of his, but he talked about his favorite planet and nebula more than other topics.
He envisioned the butterfly nebula, its vibrant colors, its ever-shifting forms and shapes. He lost himself in it, Virgil’s hand his tether as his breathing evened out and his heart rate slowed back to normal.
Virgil squeezed his hand. “Logan?”
Logan exhaled, opening his eyes. “Yes.”
“How are you feeling?”
“Better.”
“Yeah?”
Logan nodded. “Yes.”
“Good.” Virgil gave Logan’s hand another squeeze, then released it.
“Don’t—” Logan swallowed. “Don’t leave.”
“I won’t leave.” Virgil gave him a soft smile. “Do you want to do something, and then if you want you can come back to your work? When I’m stressed, I make myself tea.”
“I believe that would be a prudent step to take.”
Virgil laughed a little. “Prudent. Back to your vocab already.”
Logan smiled a bit, too. “Prudent isn’t an excessively difficult or complicated word.”
“I guess, but it’s not the most common word in the world, either.”
“I suppose.”
“Come on.” Virgil hopped off the desk. “Lets’ get you some tea.”

aight so a few people seemed to like the fnaf/transformers fusion so i'll elaborate a bit on it!
The Transformers were not originally FazCo's, it was a merger when suddenly the competitions in the animatronic entertainment industry started going out of business. (I'm sure nothing illegal happened there <.< >.>)
(Tbh I could also add my Godzilla/FNAF fusion here too but we're not talking about that rn :3)
So the merger happens and its a Huge Deal bc come on guys it's OPTIMUS PRIME with Bumblebee and Megatron. Literally the first thing people think of when they think of TF right?
They get their own building connected to the Pizzaplex to keep the themes seperate. Connected by walkways and tunnels that i'm sure are perfectly safe and up to code. (Red Alert is in a constant state of Panic And Anxiety bc of FazCo's standards)
Now.
The animatronic cybertronians have more than one function. Not only are they entertainers, they also run "workshops" for the kids when they're not doing the Autobots vs Decepticon skits.
Wheeljack and Preceptor doing Science, Optimus teaches history and mans the massive library space (mainly used by stressed out college students using the free wifi and being snuck free food by various mecha). Megatron holds poetry slams. You get the idea.
Things are going great! Until its suddenly... Not.
@transingthoseformers @decepticon-nerd heheheh

Dusky Skye
Tumblr media
"Observation: This is the third time in two minutes that you've reached to fidget with your jacket, Skye."
The massive Umbreon-morph grunted softly and let go of the zipper. His recent considerable bulk provided plenty of insulation from the drizzly chill of the city night, but he still found himself missing the days when he could zip up his coat. "… it's … uh. Reflex. Yeah. The drizzle and all. I keep forgetting I don't wear glasses anymore, so … uh. Yeah. I try to clean them."
"Skye … you never were very good at lying." The holographic projection of a Skitty in Skye's eyepiece smiled, but its vocoder was modulated to show concern. "I can only help you as much as you give me honest feedback. What's on your mind?"
"I …" He actually had to stop a moment and compose his thoughts. Much as he looked like a massive uncaring brute, under the considerable tonnage he was the same bundle of social anxiety and complex PTSD that he had been as a human. "… I'm afraid people are gonna stare at me. That I'll scare them, or … or look like a huge target for some asshole to try to attack." He sighed, ears splaying, and leaned against a wall, turning his face away from the stinging little droplets of rain. "More things change, the more they stay the same, huh."
"Hey." Skit-chan played a little animation of bumping her nose against his cheek. "In a neighborhood like this, it's reasonable to worry about getting attacked … but you and I both know you can handle yourself in a fight now. As for staring … let's be honest, Skye. You're somewhere around ten feet tall and parts of you glow like a neon sign. If anything, people are going to go out of their way to ignore you out of spite."
He paused and looked around slowly. Not a pair of eyes on him at all. People had places to be, things to do, phones to scroll. No time for more than a passing glance at the hulking dark-type. The knot in his chest slowly unworked itself, and his shoulders settled down and back. "… you make a good point, Skit-chan."
"You programmed me to~."

Winter 2022 Anime Opinions
As always my thoughts because no one asked
Tumblr media
From least to fav here are my overall thoughts:
Urusei Yatsura (2022)
Tumblr media
I am just not the target audience for this. This is probably a nostalgia ridden show that people who watched the original will love and enjoy but I am not that person and with the two eps I watched I had enough. The jokes were not funny to me all characters were annoying and yeah the animation is nice but I will not put myself through something I will not enjoy for it tbh. Watch it if you liked the original ig
Tonikaku Kawaii: SeifukU
Tumblr media
I dislike tonikaku with a passion it gives go girl give us nothing to the negative 20 no flavor no taste still the same shiz as the show so yeah. Watch it if you liked the series lmao its more of the same
Shinobi no Ittoki
Tumblr media
I guess…… Its really kinda bland and I can’t pinpoint why. The concept is interesting but it just doesn’t hold up in its execution and I dont care for it run sorry do better I guess
Fumetsu no Anata e 2nd Season
Tumblr media
I try so hard to care, SO hard. Since season 1 I have found this show to be kinda…. All over. Like the only storyline I cared about was the one with the kid with the mask last season and since that its just been meh to me. Like, we already kinda know how everything is going to go and all the arcs are kinda the same, they show us someone, we care for them for like half an episode, they die, repeat.
Bocchi the Rock!
Tumblr media
I TRIES SO HARD TO CARE TOO I AM SO SORRY. This has been like the number 1 show this year but I… I dont know I just dont like it ASDFGHJ I am not a big fan of cute girls doing nothing specially mixed with the uwu social anxiety quirky. Like they dont paint it in a bad light like most shows do and the art style is very unique but I just dont… Give a shit adfgdhjf I tried I promise but hey if you are into this shows probs the one for you.
Mushikaburi-hime
Tumblr media
This one is boring I am ngl. Its not bad but like… Its not good either. Ive seen this trope done SO many times its just boring. It hasn’t done anything bad per se but I just dont really care for it much. I like my romance with spicier ships so yeah I mean if you like cute royal same old same old couples then watch it.
Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.
Tumblr media
Do you like boobs????? Do you like boobs ON your screen for 23 minutes??????? Then you will for sure enjoy this one fellas! ASDFGHJ I… I am not the biggest fan of ecchi so this is a lot for me but hey if you like this fan service trash then you go bestie. Character design is cute I dont care for any characters as of the moment so yeah I guess its something
Chainsaw Man
Tumblr media
This is the one that gets me cancelled ASDFGH. I am not going to say much other than I've never been a fan of chainsaw man since the manga and you can write me all the essays y'all want but I just.... Dont care sorry lol ADFSJAK Its just not for me; I am not saying its bad per se, I am just not the person that enjoys this type of shows. Akiangel as the only thing that matters of chainsaw man fr fr
Aru Asa Dummy Head Mic ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei
Tumblr media
This is trash but it goes higher just because Its what it is and delivers just what I expected. The reincarnated person is annoying as fuck but the girls have cute dynamics so that's why it goes higher. Its just 3 minutes skits of the girls being cute so yeah its okay
Koukyuu no Karasu
Tumblr media
I feel like this is a good show but I am just not the target for this adsfgh its a show you gotta pay attention to understand and a lot of history goes behind it and it just kinda bored me but I know its not bad. I just dont think its for me but that's okay I might keep watching it.
Eternal Boys
Tumblr media
Its okay. Its a nice concept and I have only watched like 3 eps but its a nice message I guess. Its short and whatever so it doesn't take much time to watch but its not something revolutionary. I like idol shows so maybe I am giving it more than what it is.
Mob Psycho
Tumblr media
This is the one that gets me cancelled part 2 SKSKSK. I am not going to lie besties, I am not the biggest mob psyhco fan. Its okay, I just never got into the hyper around it sorry :(( I really wish I could because I know its a good story and I ddi like that last episode a lot but like,,,,, I feel like the story was over last season ASDFGH But hey I am glad y'all enjoyed it a lot!
Boku no Hero Academia 6th Season
Tumblr media
I am ngl, I am like on ep 2 of bnha season 6 but have seen the Dabi scene like 20 times thanks to social media and I got no choice but to Stan. I dont like this arc of bnha as y'all know but it seems more interesting than last season and I like the way the animation direction is going so I will give them points for it.
Do It Yourself!!
Tumblr media
Lesbians your honor!!!! I like this one! Its cute girls doing silly lil stuff and I am not a big fan of the genre like I said but this one is more entertaining for me, maybe because I am more into DIY shit but its cute!! Nothing big happens tbh but its a soft watch to put in the background if y'all enjoy this
Romantic Killer
Tumblr media
This was cute! A refreshing romcom from the ones weve gotten recently tbh. I liked it even though I have a different interpretation of the road they took it in the end but it was a fun show to watch with some nice gags and cute characters, defo give it a go!
Renai Flops
Tumblr media
Okay hear me out. This one is in a weird place but hear me out. I hate everything this anime stands for because it was such a cliche weird and ecchi but it was such an interesting train wreck I HAD to keep on watching every episode and when I least expected it I was suddenly on ep 6 and the twist left me screAmiNG. It kinda goes downhill again after ep 7 but just because it took me so off guard (dont wanna spoil it but aloO) it goes high up, gg 1 for the ecchi trash 0 for Maria this round.
Yowamushi Pedal: Limit Break
Tumblr media
Ngl this season of yowapeda hasn't been as hyped as I hoped for me but I care so much about the characters I will place it high up SKSKSKSK its basically more of the same; I honestly miss the upperclassman a lot but its okay my babies appear like for .2 frames and I start sobbing
Akuyaku Reijou nano de Last Boss wo Kattemimashita
Tumblr media
okaY is this trash??? yes. Do I care??? nO. I LOVE MY SILLY LIL TROPES OKAY ITS FUNNY AND SILLY AND DUMB AND THEY ARE CUTE SO IT GOES UP OKAY I LIKE HAMEFURA WHAT DO YALL EXPECT FROM ME. still kinda trash but like, guilty pleasure trash.
4-nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku
Tumblr media
THIS IS HOW YOU DO CUTE GIRLS (AND TSUKASA LY BESTIE) DOING CUTE STUFF IN A GOOD WAY. If you like Saiki K you'll like this show. I dont know how to explain it but it gives the energy from Saiki K and I loved it they are very important and relevant.
Spy x Family Part 2
Tumblr media
Its more of the same of part 1 y'all know spy x family its a good show I love them all I love when my families are found go stream it look at Bond and Anya being best family
Tiger & Bunny
Tumblr media
The gays are back for more and better! Not my favorite season buT I still care about them all so much that I dont care SKSKSK go stream tiger & bunny I dont have much more to say

Thinking about what you mentioned about Taylor not really understanding his emotional trauma responses again So in the comedy skit/in space ep, its mentioned that Taylor has an inhaler he keeps on him for his asthma. From personal experience, its sometimes hard to tell the difference between asthma attack and panic attacks. Basically him having a panic attack, thinking its an asthma attack...noticing the inhaler helps a little but not how it usually does. Knowing something that usually works, that he has relied on before, is hardly doing anything turns the confusion and unease into full-blown fear [S2 Ep. 34 - Finding Tori]
Tumblr media
i love this and i am eating it up!!!! taylor not understanding his emotional responses to trauma!!!!!
(i did some research to better understand asthma after recieving this ask because i do not have it myself HFHJFJBDH i do have a severe anxiety disorder though so i know panic attacks very well)
i've already written about taylor having a panic attack and having no fucking idea what's happening so i like how this adds another layer to that. and it makes a lot of sense too because he would have no reason to believe that whatever is happening is anxiety-related so assuming it's an asthma attack makes perfect sense
and then when the inhaler barely works then it makes the anxiety worse because he has no idea why it didn't work or what's happening 😭😭😭
also i kinda like the idea of this happening when he's with the others because i'm such a hurt/comfort girlie and them noticing something is wrong and taylor freaking out about his inhaler barely working and one of them telling him what's going on and helping him calm down 💥💥💥💥

I don’t know why I’m suddenly thinking about this again, but I feel like writing about it. Tw: religion, religious trauma, transphobia, homophobia, anti-lgbtq+, anti-atheism, ableism?, etc.
I grew up in a lds/Mormon family. There are three experiences (right now) that really get under my skin, and I’d like to talk about them here. When I was younger (think, 12-13) there was a young woman’s leader that I hated. She was smothering, strict, guilt tripping and mean. One night, we were supposed to be making the set for a short skit we were putting on.
I have always been a very, very anxious person, and it only got worse as I got older. I couldn’t walk into classrooms with people already in them type anxious. So, in a gym full of kids with leaders breathing down my neck and expected to work but not given any instruction, I was panicking. I felt terrible, I felt sick. I couldn’t be in that room anymore or I would cry. I went into the hallway, where my siblings joined me, and we went outside because I was still feeling overwhelmed.
And that leader found us. She found me crying, my siblings trying their best to comfort me, and she got mad. She told us we were selfish, ungrateful, and mean, because she and the other leaders set up this activity for us (a lot of cardboard and box cutters and paint, that’s it) and we weren’t enjoying it. I told her I couldn’t. She told me to try harder.
My oldest sibling argued with her, saying we were an anxious family, that it wasn’t fair to force us to enjoy things we have never ever liked. Our leader told us that she was shy when she was a child, but she was made to be outgoing and now she was all better. We told her that’s not how it works, she didn’t believe us.
She brought cardboard outside, because even if we were leaving the gym we weren’t leaving the activity, and then she got angry with me again for not helping, even though she hadn’t brought us any tools so only she and my brother had knives. She told me to go get one. I had to go back inside, back to the gym, and had to find them. When I finally came back, she and my brother were working, and there was literally no space for me to help them.
She got mad at me anyway.
I don’t even remember her name, but I remember how horrible she was, and how no one helped.
This one and the next were far more recent. I may not want to go to church, but I want to see what my family sees in it (most of them, anyway), so I went for the first time in a long time.
A former missionary was giving a talk. He said he had once been teaching a man who could not go to church. Like, when he got up to the doors of the building he felt anxious, shaky, and sick. They convinced him to try, and he didn’t even make it an hour before he couldn’t take it any more and left.
The speaker said that he and his companion were disappointed before anything else.
This man who could not breathe inside this building, who suffered intense headaches and anxiety within its walls, who nearly broke apart from staying fifteen minutes in church had given himself a panic attack and had to leave, and they were disappointed.
They had him keep coming, for short periods at a time. Eventually he got used to it and could stay for the whole service.
Finally, the class was talking about the pioneers. They talked about how hard it was, how terrible it was. And then a woman spoke up, and said that she believes the pioneers are grateful that they lived when they did- because she herself would rather have her children die on the plains than have them stray from the gospel, that she would rather they suffer and die than become obsessed with technology, or be lgbtq+, or lose their faith.
I really don’t know why I’m thinking about these events so much today, but here we are. I don’t really have a conclusion, but you’re welcome to share your thoughts.

fav s3 episodes/skits?
im so glad you asked i have a lot of opinions and a huge essay in the making on s3. in the meantime, allow me to answer more than what you actually asked for
what really annoys me is that s3, at its high points, really knocks it out of the park for me. its highs are high but, ofc, that makes its lows reach rock fucking bottom. somehow they wrote a season that its pilot and finale are some of my alltime favorite episodes but there is so much horseshit inbetween these really hard hitting segments
homerun tier skits for me usually have two or more of these: showcasing the full sextuplet interdependent dysfunction - not focused on duos/trios ("let's do chores", all of ep25), narrative self awareness with narrative also covering Personal diagetic narrative aka existential anxiety (<- 100% coherent sentence but think about a skit like "choromatsu's memorial hall"), performance/theater/creation motifs and premises ("contract renewels" -- also iyami's comedy school in s1 is a skit based on this premise of Being Performers, as is the skit in s2 where he attempts to commit suicide. that being said the latter is my #1 alltime fave ep for all these reasons as anything solely about osomatsu includes criteria one because he's the integumentary system). the secret fourth category is that it's totoko/totonyaa focused. i am not immune to yuribaiting
side note, can i just say ep1's translated title is "Untilted" but its actual jpn title is 降板 (koban) meaning in baseball terms leaving the mound/knocked out, or just resigning/withdrawing which *leans close to the mic to blow out my audio* i think better conveys the mental image of them getting strongarmed out of a job. this has been bothering me ever since i started planning the essay last year. but i digress.
Tumblr media
cour 1 is honestly overall solid but because s3 is ultimately about the introduction of inevitable change thru the omusubi and the twins' Denial of this change themselves, because the old guard appealed to them so much as does youth now glorify the experiences of our parents and grandparents and even older siblings. so cour 2 suffers from this seemingly intentional and implicitly malicious dropping of the ball. though, this is a bad faith narrative and i have so much more to say on this but that's for another time. however, i think the laziness in cour 2 was an exacerbation of the laziness shown in cour 1
with alllllll of that in mind, i like ep1, ep4, ep5, ep9, ep18, ep25, both "dimwit generation" skits, "totoderella" and "contract renewels"

Break Open the Sky, a Tales of Symphonia ‘fic (Chapter 4)
Current Word Count: 28,360 Summary: What kind of “Hero” of Regeneration would she be to leave an infant to fend for itself? Someone had to have left it here for a reason. The question was, of course, why? But as she lifted the little thing carefully into her arms, the motion reminding her of nights so far in the past, now, the why seemed almost tragically clear: this baby was of mixed blood. Chapter Summary: Raine and the girls make it to Palmacosta. Pairing/Characters: Raine, Original Characters, will also feature Genis, Regal, and Sheena. Endgame is Regal/Raine. Extra Info: This is technically an Accidental Baby Acquisition story, but I liken it more to “Doorstep Baby” literature because it sure ain’t cute. Rating: Mature, for themes. Genre: Eventual romance, gen, family, character study.
The title is the link to Ao3 for Chapter 4! If you read it please feed me a little comment. I love you x4. 🤍🤍🤍🤍
Notes below the cut:
Finally, Genis is here! There might be a little bit more to that Meltokio party than meets the eye, but we'll get there eventually. In the meantime, Genis gets to be the voice of reason—and he is necessary to temper Raine's anxiety.
Not that she can be expected to think super clearly when she's so stressed out and in pain, but she already felt that the incident in Meltokio was her fault and a pretty big deal. Like wow, way to be a terrible friend to someone you actually really respect and value!!
Regal is probably the #1 most eligible bachelor in the world, so maybe Genis is right and something like a good night kiss hardly even fazed him. He gets a lot of attention and another tiny speck of it would be unlikely to make a difference. Plus, if they're still exchanging letters it's doubtful he's holding it against her.
But for Raine it's still that thing where letters are easy and being around someone in person is harder, especially when she worries her presence might remind them of something she did ages ago.
--
Before anyone can ask, I'm going with brassiere as a term because I feel like it. I imagine Raine isn't the sort to care much for looking pretty and would opt for something functional and plain and probably loose/adjustable.
So here are a couple of things that I had in mind for this two second mention of Raine wearing a brassiere that got me lost in archives online for hours:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
--
Locke Hill Creek & Locke Hill Crossing are here:
Tumblr media
--
Yellow gingham (for anyone who might not be as familiar with the term/pattern):
Tumblr media
--
Something I really like about the game's treatment of Raine is that they allow her to be a terrible cook but never really dig into the (extremely exhausting and rage-inducing) trope of it being funny because she's a woman. They just let it be a problem she has and leave it at that to joke about on its own terms.
They also don't go out of their way to act like she has no domestic skill at all, which is a huge relief.
I think it makes sense that she might be pretty good at sewing, if only because she would have had to get good at it, and I suspect she might have been the one to make the clothes she and Genis wear in-game; they're so specifically elf-styled (to help them blend in/lead credence to their lie) and with no elves out and about in Sylvarant, it only really makes sense that she is the one who made them (as she's the only one with memories of what they should even look like).
--
Genis references the "My Sister" skit. I recommend watching with the Japanese voice acting here because it's soooo good.
Tumblr media
She's obviously very touched by him saying that but doesn't show her feelings outwardly very well.
This becomes more important later, but Raine isn't exactly ignorant that she's not very good at processing emotion or showing her feelings. She still struggles with it, though, and now that she's looking after more children does try to make an effort to be more naturally/casually affectionate out of almost a fear of setting a poor example. (Like the scene where she tries to comfort Lila and Marcie and goes out of her way to touch them.)
--
Speaking of Genis again, he was a bit tough to get "right" in this chapter due to the large timeskip (five years is a long time for him). He's 17 going on 18 and we missed some of those formative teen years. I like to think he's still a bit of a sassy brat, but has learned how to watch his mouth a little bit and act more maturely.
I also feel a really strong connection to Raine and Genis's relationship due to my own relationship with my youngest (extremely gifted) sibling, whom I helped to educate (early in life) and raise, and who once told me I was like a second mother to her. I sort of modeled Genis's behavior after hers from around that same age, though only in conversational maturity and studiousness. ;)
It's not that he's not surprised at the situation Raine's found herself in because he is; but he's trying to respond to that in a way that won't also encourage Raine to distance herself from him. They did travel together for 3 of the last 5 years, so he's no stranger to her particular behavior quirks.
Also, there's something to be said for...you know...the fact that it's not as if what has happened can be undone. Now he's just gotta roll with it and try to help!
--
OC ROLLCALL:
Baby (infant left with Raine; not named)
Lila (10 years old, powder blue hair, blue eyes, half-elf, adopted by Raine)
Marcie (8 years old, ash-blonde hair, hazel eyes, half-elf, adopted by Raine)
Cynthia (half-elf in a merchant caravan who assists Raine briefly)
--
Next time we head to Altamira! On a ship! 🤢 I'm sure Raine will be very excited for it.
Thank you for reading! If you have time please do take a moment to leave a little comment on Ao3! 🤍

OKSY OKAY tw anxiety and overly worried skittery due to past experiences
but he's been looking forward to this for weeks. He makes sure to wipe his feet before entering. He has on a newish shirt he'd borrowed from Jack. He'd asked Jack the right prayer for Saturday shabbat and memorized it just in case though hus pronunciation was probably off he hoped they didmt mind. He awkwardly waits to be told to sit not wanting to mess this up. They set out dinner and say grace and skittery watches for the que to start eating. that's when it starts to go wrong. He knocks over his glass accidentally frantically apologizes offering to go get a towel or something to clean up and pay for their laundry for the trouble. There is wine in their beautiful table cloth. It's possibly ruined all because of him.
Les is laughing and skittery normally likes the kid but he's upset why would les laugh at him? What about this is funny?
Mrs jacobs is reassuring him it's okay but it's not he knows it's not. That table cloth is probably something brought from overseas passed down in the family, and now clumsy him had made sure Sarah would have nothing and tears gsther at his eyes. The food and drink had to split another way die to his presence and he had simply poured Mrs jacobs hard work all over their nice table.
David talks to him softly. "Hey skittery what's wrong? "
"Im sorry, im really sorry I understand if yous no want me to come back I messed up your nice meal. I didn't mean to I swear. I איך אנטשולדיג זיך. " He fumbles thru his pronunciation, hoping he didn't somehow butcher it so bad it was an insult.
SKITTERY MY POOR CHILD LEAVE THEM ALONE 😭😭😭
SKIT ITS OKAY BABY I PROMISE

Memes* cause depression
*well, internet scrolling in general, which are basically memes or meme-adjacent.
During company layoffs, I went two straight weeks looking at nothing but internal memes. They were really helpful in processing the feelings of hurt and shock.
Tumblr media
Memes with my colleagues straddle an interesting spectrum. It's "connection" with a real collective community, but the collective is across 200K employees.
Extrapolate that to an entire internet "community" and you have the state of today's media. For all the split-second entertainment that's out there, I rarely laugh. That's true unfortunately not just with internet browsing, but with life and with people too.
Is it just me? Are we not having as many belly laughs with people as with past times?
I could be conflating a number of other true things: adult friendships don't tend to be as deep as those from youth,   raising a kid is a perpetual beatdown, pandemic disconnection, desensitization from working in a frenetic environment,
but let me just stick to my thesis a little longer. First, what am I calling a "meme," and why do they make us depressed? A meme (picture, short video skit, stupid Tweet™️) is basically an attempt through media to get a "Oh I know that feeling!" It's creating a "connection," and the more niche the reference the greater the payoff, e.g., in order from basic to niche: SAT -> 90skids4lyfe -> depression/anxiety/introvert/antisocial -> grad school memes with relatable themes -> NUMTOT -> MD is a cult Not a State -> Super Secret DMV bboy page. Honestly for every human experience, and I mean *every*, we've created some media.
But here's the thing. I think connection is zero-sum. At the core of it, memes create connection to a nebulous internet entity, which thus disconnects us more and more with our real counterparts. We strip ourselves the opportunity to laugh with real friends, because would-be funny convos are constantly scuttled with our mental "oh I've seen this line of humor already in a meme." I sense this constantly in my interactions. People including myself have a hard time laughing from true novelty, because there is none.
And it's even more negative than zero-sum. The meme reduces the dimensions and dignity of the human experience it's making fun of. Tokenizes and trivializes. Ironically, the more nuanced ("niche") the meme is the more the tokenization effect. Because of this, I draw a line at Christian memes. Under no circumstances I'll entertain Christian memes. That's the last thing in my life I need trivializing.
As self-proclaimed Nostalgia King, I think about how life was in the 2000s. Even though we had internet, its use was so different. We still used Facebook to catch up with real people in our lives, not random impersonal internet personalities. AIM chat was in its heyday. We connected with real folks.
Will I stop with memes? Maybe! I unfollowed a bunch of meme accounts by the end of writing this. Out of all my social contexts, I think I have pretty good laughs with bboys. The meme skills of the community are so poor it's actually a net-benefit. It also helps you're inherently vulnerable and silly when participating. A lot of the things discussed here are themes from the book "You Are Not Your Own" by Alan Noble. Excellent read, seriously cut me on specific modern problems that older religious figures don't have insight into (a la memes, porn, and smartphones).

This blog has been inactive (and I am sorry) while I've been handling lots of personal issues, from family medical emergencies to trying to finish out my year so I could transfer colleges (and still waiting to hear back). Fox Heist kinda hit some writer's block, so as soon as I know what the hell Fox got up to, I will finally update that.
Meanwhile, I went to Used Book, Movie, and Game store last week. I was hoping to find a pokemon game, but it wasn't to be. I did find a copy of Alice: Madness Returns and decided it was about time I finally saw it through.
However, I also stumbled across a clone trooper figure! I never freaking see these anywhere except online. It was designed for the Battlefront 2 game and was under 20 dollars. I've been wanting clone trooper figures to use as photography models (an excuse to do goofy panel skits), so I didn't think twice about grabbing him.
Except I grossly miscalculated how much I had to spend in-store. With both items, I was short 9 dollars. We're trying to hold off on credit cards when possible and this was too frivolous. So I had to make a choice. The game or the trooper.
In the car, staring at the copy of Alice: Madness Returns, I did some better thinking that being in line and in front of a "hurry up and keep it moving" cashier does not allow a person with anxiety. The game was for PS3, which I have but has not been used a lot anymore as it may be getting close to its last leg. Could I really play it through? Was it worth letting go of something I'd been hoping to encounter for months? Would that clone trooper figure actually bring me any joy?
Well, I had to make another choice, go home or return the game for the figuring.
Tumblr media
Now, what should this trooper's name be?
Any suggestions?

Co-Curricular Activities Nurture Socio-Emotional Intelligence, Fostering a Range of Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Skills in Diverse Contexts.
— Insights from Dr. Vandna Shahi, Principal, BCM School, Ludhiana
In today’s educational landscape, striking a balance between academic excellence and holistic development is crucial, resonating deeply with educators, parents, and students alike. In this interview, Dr. Vandna Shahi, Principal of BCM School, Ludhiana, shares invaluable insights into how schools can effectively support students in navigating the dual realms of academic rigor and extracurricular pursuits. Dr. Shahi discusses a clear path toward nurturing well-rounded individuals. Let’s dive in!
Q. How does your school support students in finding a balance between academic excellence and participating in extracurricular activities?
We espouse a holistic educational ethos, seamlessly weaving co-curricular activities into the very fabric of our academic curriculum, as we do not consider them extracurricular. The activities are thoughtfully designed to enhance and complement students’ learning experiences, ensuring they remain engaged while making their learning visible in diverse and creative ways. Gone are the days of confining assignments to conventional formats; students are now empowered with the freedom to express their comprehension through varied avenues such as poetry, jingles, musical compositions, visual arts, or dynamic presentations, thereby aligning their academic tasks with their individual passions and proficiencies. We have instituted bespoke learning programs tailored to individual aptitudes and requirements. Our array of clubs and evening sports sessions ensures inclusivity, with offerings diverse enough to resonate with every student. Moreover, structured time is allocated within the school week for extracurricular pursuits, with Saturdays dedicated to immersive club activities. This ensures students have ample opportunities for enrichment without extending their academic hours excessively. Additionally, we conduct stress management workshops and teach techniques like mindfulness and time management to help students maintain equilibrium. Through these multifaceted initiatives and unwavering support systems, our institution cultivates an environment where academic excellence seamlessly coalesces with active co-curricular engagement.
Q. Does your school collaborate with parents to reinforce the importance of both academics and socio-emotional skills in students’ growth?
Absolutely, fostering collaborative engagement with parents is paramount in nurturing both academic excellence and socio-emotional resilience in our students. Through insightful parent talks and workshops led by seasoned school counselors and distinguished experts, we address a spectrum of vital topics, from navigating exam anxiety to promoting holistic mental well-being. Our annual festivities extend warm invitations to parents, encouraging their active participation in captivating performances and skits, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared accomplishment. Thorough parent orientation programs acquaint families with our school’s ethos and curriculum. Regular parent-teacher conferences serve as vital forums for discussing academic progress and socio-emotional growth. These endeavors underscore our unwavering dedication to cultivating student success through robust collaboration with parents.
Q. How does your school encourage alumni involvement and maintain connections with its alumni community?
We diligently cultivate alumni engagement, fostering a vibrant ecosystem teeming with mentorship, networking, and support through a multifaceted approach. Our exemplary endeavor, the Alumni Mentorship Programme, witnesses esteemed graduates generously volunteering their time to impart guidance and inspiration to current students navigating academic and career paths. Through this initiative, alumni graciously share insights, proffer career counsel, and bestow invaluable life lessons, empowering current students to tread their paths with sagacity and assurance. Recreational activities for alumni are also organized periodically, including social gatherings, sports events, and cultural outings, providing opportunities for alumni to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Celebrating Founders Day on May 24th is a wonderful way to unite alumni around the world in celebration of their shared heritage and accomplishments. This global celebration not only reinforces the bonds between alumni but also serves as a reminder of the institution’s rich history and enduring legacy. Through these efforts, we forge a symbiotic relationship, wherein past luminaries continue to shape the future prosperity and legacy of our esteemed institution.
Q. Do you feel a balanced focus on academics, extracurricular activities, and socio-emotional learning is important in education? If so, how do you ensure that these aspects are integrated effectively into students’ overall development?
A balanced focus on academics, co-curricular activities, and socio-emotional learning is not just desirable but imperative in education, facilitating the cultivation of well-rounded individuals. Expanding beyond the traditional cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains, competency-based education must embrace a wider spectrum of knowledge, values, capacities, and dispositions to foster holistic growth. This inclusive approach is essential for nurturing productive citizens adept at navigating society’s intricacies. Integration is pivotal, employing active collaborative methods such as experiential, project-based, and research-based learning which ensures a comprehensive developmental journey. Moreover, community-connected learning programs, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), instill a sense of responsibility towards societal issues through diverse activities like volunteering, fundraising, and environmental initiatives. By seamlessly intertwining these elements, education evolves into a transformative force, equipping students with the requisite skills and mindset to flourish in this ever-evolving world.
Q. What role do extracurricular activities play in promoting socio-emotional learning among students?
Co-curricular pursuits serve as fertile grounds for nurturing socio-emotional intelligence among students, accentuating a spectrum of interpersonal and intrapersonal skills within diverse and enriching contexts. Engaging in club activities such as art, music, drama, or debate fosters self-expression, creativity, and empathic resonance. Through collaborative endeavors in these domains, students refine their communication and empathetic understanding. Moreover, team sports instill values of collaboration, leadership, and resilience, as students navigate the intricacies of collective endeavor, communication, and triumph over adversity. Assembly programs and inter-house competitions further amplify opportunities for leadership, public speaking, and camaraderie, nurturing a culture of mutual support, organizational finesse, and social responsibility. Inter-school engagements broaden horizons, fostering cross-cultural empathy, adaptability, and appreciation for diversity. Collectively, these co-curricular avenues form a crucible wherein students forge enduring socio-emotional competencies vital for academic success and holistic personal development.
Q. Can you explain your understanding of Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) and how it fits into your school’s educational approach? Give examples.
Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) fosters holistic development by nurturing essential skills like emotional intelligence, empathy, and responsible decision-making. Our ‘Road to Recovery’ program supports struggling learners through personalized interventions, promoting resilience alongside academic progress. The Life Skills Education Programme, exemplified by initiatives like ‘School Cinema,’ facilitates reflective discussions on pertinent social themes, encouraging informed choices. The ‘Buddy Programme’ provides peer support, while community outreach and our School Council promote SEL in real-world contexts and student leadership. Co-curricular activities, vocational education, and diverse clubs further enrich SEL integration, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth. This comprehensive approach ensures that every student thrives, laying a foundation for lifelong success.
