I can deal with the fact that Steve passes the shield on to Sam instead of Bucky. I can even deal with the fact that Steve abandoned a still healing Bucky in the present day so he could go back to be with Peggy (who he knows lives a good long life).

What I CANNOT deal with is the fact that Bucky was completely robbed of a heart to heart with Steve at the end. I wanted to hear Steve apologize for leaving him. I wanted Bucky’s understand and comforting. I wanted Steve to charge Sam with looking after Bucky. Because Bucky describes himself in Infinity War as “semi-stable.” Bucky is still struggling with what was done to him.

James Buchanan Barnes deserved so much more than being regulated to the background of Steve passing the torch.
