danny is horribly embarrassed that he even did anything for jack in the first place so he doesn’t give jack anything in public, but behind closed doors you can think of roses, candles, the works because at the end of the day he is a performer. he probably finds a way to ask jack to be his valentine via elaborate card trick a la “is this your card?” and it says be my valentine on it or something. because he’s a smitten idiot.

jack doesn’t mind if the entire world knows he’s head over heels for danny (and anyway, the world probably can already tell) plus he gets a certain satisfaction from embarrassing danny in front of the rest of their team so for the entirety of valentine’s day he’s pulling roses out of thin air, pressing heart shaped chocolates into danny’s pockets and crossing his fingers that they don’t melt (danny will kill him if he keeps ruining danny’s clothes), sneaking up behind danny while he’s having an important conversation with henley/dylan (he doesn’t have important convos with merritt) and kissing him on the cheek and making danny horribly flustered and lose his train of thought for two seconds before attempting to get his shit together. everyone thinks it’s hilarious. danny vows revenge
