James 'Jimmy' Hopkins

Affection – how do they show affection? What's their love language(s)?

Words of affirmation and Acts of service are Jimmy's go-to acts to show his affection. When he walks to your house and gets into your room already talking about how he "just couldn't stay away." and "he couldn't wait to see your (cute) stupid face." and if you at any point needed something done he will do it for you, you don't ask him to. He will just hear you talking about it and remember. He doesn't even expect anything in return.

Boundaries– what are some BIG no-nos for your relationship?

When you two got together Jimmy left a trail of shattered hearts behind him. So a big thing in your relationship is him turning down the girls that approach him, mostly Lola (cuz she loves to start issues) and you have to stay away from Gary because he will try and start issues in your relationship. Jimmy also doesn't want to be left in the dark about where you are, and where you're going (the last thing he needs is for you to get into trouble and him not know how to get to you.)

Comfort – How do they comfort you when you’re upset? When the tables turn, do they come to you, or try to handle it themselves?

When you are upset, Jimmy doesn't fully know how to make you feel better. If it's someone who made you upset he will track them down and pummel them, if it's not a physical being then he's a bit lost on how to help. He'll just sit and listen to you as you tell him what's wrong and he'll do his best to make it better. (if you stump a table he'll jokingly cuss at the table before kicking it for you if that'll help.)

Dates – what is their ideal date?

Jimmy is happy to do whatever you want, but if he had to pick he'd enjoy taking you to an abandoned place to smash and graffiti anything you want.

Excitement – How do they act when they’re excited? What excites them?

Jimmy gets a little too excited to beat someone up, so much so that he tells you his plan thirty minutes before he even goes to the fight, and he tells you all about his victory when he's done.

Future – What are their plans for the future? Do they see themselves getting married, or having kids?

Jimmy never thought of settling down especially with his mom being married five times and each time failing so he might be a little discouraged But it's something he wouldn't be opposed to after a nice long relationship. He just doubts anybody would settle for him. He knows he has this bad boy reputation and vibe about him so he knows girls go for him due to that reason, he isn't the guy these girls wanna settle with. This is the guy they wanna have fun with to piss off their parents. On the topic of children, Jimmy is in his final year. He couldn't see himself juggling school and a baby. But in the future, once he's had his fun he might consider just one.

Gifts – What do they give you as presents? How often do they get you gifts? How do they react to getting gifts?

Jimmy's go-to is flowers and chocolates, but after getting to know you more about your relationships he does give more thoughtful gifts. He remembers very small things that you mention in passing without really thinking about them and him one day just gets you that thing or makes you something that resembles it. It's a little scary how much he remembers just from passing comments he hears.

Hold – How do they hold you? Cuddling, sleeping, holding hands…

Jimmy doesn't hold you unless you are alone together, and when you are he likes for you to have your legs over his lap and your head resting under his, he also enjoys laying his head in your lap. Jimmy would rather die than say it to you... But he wants to be the little spoon. Finally, Jimmy is very insecure when it comes to holding hands. (with you) when it was with a random girl before he didn't care what they thought but he is very interested in you and because of his interest, his hands get sweaty. In his last relationship with Zoe, she made a joke about his sweaty hands while wiping her hand, and while he laughed it did make him selfconscious about it.

Ideal – What’s their ideal partner like?

With Jimmy only has two types... Either you are a complete badass, you detention all the time, always ready to fight for any reason... Or you are a sweetheart with a shy persona, very cute and loving towards him but you will kick ass when feeling like you need it. And there is no in between

Jealousy – Do they get jealous easily? How do they handle it?

Jimmy doesn't get jealous easily but when he does get jealous it's pretty intense. He mostly gets jealous when it comes to Gary, or when a prep thinks it's ok to try and upstage him...

Kisses – How do they like to kiss you? How frequently do you kiss?

Jimmy is very particular about PDA. When he is around family (your family) he will turn the PDA down, he has been yelled at for PDA in the past. However, when you are out in the town doing your own thing he doesn't care. They could all sit there and watch for all he cares.

Likes – what are things you like to do together?

Jimmy likes to take you to the carnival, it's a bit old by now but the town fixed it up over the years and there are lots of fun things to do. Jimmy has won you so many gifts you're running out of places to get them. Other than that Jimmy always likes to show you some fun moves and how to dish out some serious punches.

Melt – What do you do that makes them melt?

When you two are alone laying together sometimes he likes to lay his head on your chest listening to your heartbeat while you trace shapes and words on his back and shoulders, or when you run your hand over his buzzed hair, he likes the sensory feeling of it. It brings him a comfort he can't understand or explain.

Nicknames – What do they call you, and what are their favorite things to be called?

When he first got with you he used the names he used with everyone, "Baby" or "babe" even the occasional "sweetheart" but as he got further into the relationship he gave you more personal nicknames and sweeter ones like "Love" "sunshine" and depending on your features you have you get one tailored to that for example "freckles" or "glasses" or "short stacks" (the nerve of this guy...)

Obvious – How obvious do they make it that they like you?

Jimmy made his interest in you very clear, from the very start. the only thing is he was a big flirt so you didn't take his advances seriously but after some persistence and fighting people off you let him take you on a very nice date.

Parents – Do they introduce you to their parents? Have they met yours?

No. He hopes you'll never meet his mom and his "Fat old Geezer" of a stepfather, and if by any chance you do meet his mom, she is shocked, to say the least. She'll interstate you about Jimmy and the relationship you have, she isn't convinced Jimmy is serious about a long-lasting relationship. This ends in Her and Jimmy getting into an argument. His stepfather is doubtful at best and creepy at worst. Jimmy almost gets into a physical altercation with him...

Quiet – How are the calm, quiet moments with them?

Jimmy can be quiet when he wants to be, but he likes to be loud, he likes announcing his presents in every room he walks into. But he is calm with you, less angry and it's a low chance he'll try and fight you.

Romance – How romantic are they? What are their go-to ways of being romantic?

Again, Jimmy can be very romantic when he wants to be. He wouldn't go super sappy when others are around (Pete is an exception) he just has a reputation to keep up, but once you are alone he can be very cheesy and romantic

Safe – What makes them feel safe and comfortable around you?

It's not so much of him being Safe and more of him being so calm he can fully relax without needing to worry about fighting anyone. Jimmy keeps you safe, even if you are bigger or stronger it doesn't matter. Jimmy keeps you safe.

Tend – How do they act when you tend to them when hurt or sick, and vice versa?

Jimmy is a little embarrassed, he doesn't want to seem weak around you. But if you sing him praises about how strong he is and how impressed you are, he'll warm up to the idea of you fixing him up. When Jimmy is sick he will fight (verbally ) to get you to stay away from him so you don't get sick but if you say you brought him his favorite warm meal... Or just some good soup... He won't say no.

When it comes to you being sick he'll stay away, unless you tell him you need him. Then he'll give in.

Unique – What’s an unusual thing about them that’s oddly charming?

Jimmy smiles with a smirk. He's constantly smirking around you. Others think he's being a douchebag and giving a stupid smirk, but you know he's just happy to be around you. He just shows it in his own way.

Variety – Do they prefer to keep things the same, or spice it up?

With Jimmy, no one day is The same. One day is calmly playing video games with Pete, the next you're throwing rocks off the back of Jimmy's bike trying to get the gang chasing you and Jimmy.

Want – What made them want to be in a relationship with you?

You weren't one to let someone be bullied. It made him gravitate toward you to help him with his little missions. After almost getting caught, jumping fences and almost getting caught but police and truancy officers he grew to really like you.

Xoxo – what are their favorite kisses?

For him, Jimmy is a sucker for neck kisses it was him feeling giddy inside. For you, he likes kisses right on the mouth.

Yearn – What do they do when they miss you?

If he misses you while you are at work or an after classes activity he'll wait outside for you and meet you as soon as you get out, but if it's something he can't go to you for he just sits on his bed with a stuffed animal or a piece of clothing you left behind cuz it smells like you.

Zzz – How do they act when they get sleepy? How is it sleeping in the same bed?

Jimmy gets very grumpy and clingy. Meaning he will either call you over or find his way to you and lays in bed taking you with him and if you dare to move he will either A) Bite you, B) Rant about how you don't love him, C) bribe you with kisses and Back messages to stay, or D) all of the above in that order.
