We pray and send good thoughts for our friend’s two daughters. One has multiple health issues and is feeling overwhelmed. She has appointments with two specialists in January and I am praying for some positive outcomes. Her other daughter is an addict and has been in hospital since New Years eve with a serious blood infection. Once she is discharged she plans to return to a very unhealthy living situation, even though her brother offered to take her in. Even after discharge she will require home care for the picc line. jan14 • psalm 12:1-8 / proverbs 3:13-15

I think this first part of the psalm is talking about how people pretend to be godly, or they are godly, but they let the world get in their heads. They speak with a double heart, which can probably be multiple things but I see as feigning friendship then going to talk behind someone’s back. These people show off how godly they are which one, they aren’t, and two, it’s not right to do that anyways. So, God says he will cut off the flattering lips and the tongues that speak proud things. Our tongue is not our own. We should speak the words of God. We should speak good words that edify other people. The most mess ups we make is with our mouth I think. Be careful what you say. That’s always a good one. The words of God are pure words and we should keep them. And I guess the last verse is talking about how abundant the wicked are, ready to pounce?? I don’t really know on that one.

WISDOM. IS. BETTER. THAN. PHYSICAL. POSSESSIONS. It gets said SO many times. Receiving wisdom and understanding makes you happy. “All the things you can desire are not to be compared unto wisdom.” Wisdom is better than physical possessions.

Wow, A NEW YEAR!

Hello, “new” tumblr :) Its been quite a while!

I had the sudden urge to start writing again. There are so many exciting things coming up soon, and I definitely want to keep track of these precious moments in life.

I am 29 right now, still :p Well...only for a few more days T^T So many emotions with this one...!

Right now, I am in Scio, NY with Pamela and Roger, finishing up my Surgery 3 rotation for my 4th year of medical school. Dr. Crandall is incredible and challenges me every day. I have 1 more week until I drive home and hop on the plane to go to Vietnam on January 14th. (Huy leaves Jan 9 to make it to Trung's second wedding on Jan 12.) My trip will be Jan14-March1; don’t worry, I will be documenting every day >:) Mwahaha.
