Piccolo X Janet Gibslythe Ship Table

Big/Little spoon: Piccolo is used to sleeping alone and doesn't really care about being the big spoon every time. Though he does sleep better having Janet in his arms. And seeing as Piccolo is over 7 feet tall, Janet ain't being the big spoon.

Lends/Borrows clothes: Wouldnt say "Lends clothes" seeing as he can just make them. During one off their dates, the pair walked by a clothes store which had a designer coat Janet thought looked beautiful but the price was out of her budget. So, casually Piccolo just used his Magic Materialization (clothes beam) and BOOM! Janet found herself wearing the exact coat she wanted. So Janet got the coat she wanted and Piccolo got a passionate surprise kiss in return.

Doesn't/Does use pet names: Piccolo always uses Janet's name, not seeing the point in "Pet names". But Janet thinks it's cute and uses Pet names for Piccolo.

Introverted/extroverted: Piccolo has come to several parties and get-togethers, though he normally keeps to himself, only socialising with the Son family and Dende, so he's not a complete Introvert.

Janet is a teacher so she has had to meet new people and students. I can imagine Janet just befriending almost everyone of the z warriors/families and immediately getting on everyone's good side.

Affection through words/actions: Piccolo isn't a man of words and believes actions speak louder so he shows affection through actions. Be it hugging and kissing Janet, making her new clothes, taking a page out of Videl's book and getting her plushies.

Piccolo is a hard person to get gifts for, so Janet can't show affection through gifts but she knows just what to say. A surprise kiss every now and then also works, especially when it makes Piccolo go red, something Janet finds cute and hilarious.

Confesses first/Waits for confession: Janet decided to be the one to bite the bullet and confessed to Piccolo. Why not? She thought he was attractive, kind hearted, good with children, he was basically ticking all boxes. Piccolo wouldn't be the one to confess first seeing as he wasn't exactly sure what he was feeling, he also saw "love" as just a means for a species to continue existing through reproduction. Piccolo never expected to feel romantic love, one reason being he never met anyone who made him feel that way and the other being that Namekians were an asexual species.

Screams about/squashes bugs: Janet can handle bugs, depending on the size that is. Anything that can fit her palm is a bug she doesn't want to be in the same room as. Piccolo doesn't care about bugs but he doesn't really squash them, seeing as Janet asks Piccolo to get rid of it instead of kill it.

Drives the car/can't drive: Both can drive, but Janet is the better of the two and Piccolo is perfectly fine with Janet driving. And after getting his licence Piccolo can count the number of times he's driven with one hand. He just prefers to fly.

Can't cook/makes dinner: Demon King Piccolo? Nah. Grill King Piccolo? Yes. Janet and Piccolo are basically similar skill level in cooking, no pro chef but can make delicious foods.

Dislikes/loves PDA: Piccolo doesn't see the point, nor wants to advertise their relationship and love for one another. But he isn't completely cold in public, he'll hold Janet's hand and give quick innocent kisses in front of others. Janet on the other hand is more open, enjoying the cute reactions she can get from Piccolo is considerate enough to not push his boundaries.

Overprotective/chill going: Piccolo is protective of Janet, how can he not be? Janet isn't a fighter, hell she looks like she never raised a fist to another so Piccolo worries about her safety. Once Janet found out about Piccolo's life, about how he was this supposed protector of earth she can be a bit worried. She knows he's he's capable warrior but she can't help feeling worried for him whenever he fights.

Has more/no relationship experience: I can imagine Janet has caught the eyes of other people before meeting Piccolo. While Piccolo on the other hand has absolutely no idea what to do in a romantic relationship. (He actually went to Krillin and 18 for advice, he saw their relationship as a healthy one and could actually answer his questions)

Horny Level: Seeing as Piccolo is Asexual and lacks sexual organs, he doesnt get horny. But Janet does get horny and Piccolo understands that, he understands that most humans have urges so he does what he can to satisfy her, such as performing oral sex, using his hands or the toys Janet bought.

Awkwardness level: Once again Piccolo isn't entirely sure what he's doing, having never really been affectionate to others in the way that's expected in a romantic relationship, he can be awkward at times but Janet just finds this adorable and understands. The only time Janet felt awkward was the first time she was introduced to the rest of the z warriors/family. She was in the presence of martial arts masters, shape shifters, famous people, aliens, and Gods alike while she was just a regular old school teacher, but Burma, Chi-Chi and the other women made her feel at home.

Jealousy level: Neither get really jealous but once in a blue moon Piccolo wonders if Janet would be happier with a human than him.

The internet: “NO ONE”

Me: “Well too bad!!

(This takes place before “Super Hero”)

“Okay okay. We’ve got flour and sugar.” Videl said, checking off the ingredients in her kitchen as Janet pulled out the mixer. “Eggs, salt, butter, baking powder and vanilla. We just need…” She looked around the counter for the final key.

“Chocolate!” Pan exclaimed, holding up a bag of chocolate chips as high as she could.

“Oh! Thank you, little chef.” She smiled and took the bag, patting her daughter on the head.

The three year old giggled, her cute cheeks turning a bright pink.

“Do you think you could get us a second bowl for the dry ingredients?” Janet asked Pan, attaching a flat beater to the mixer.

“Sure! But-hup!” She said as she grabbed a large glass bowl and picked it up despite dwarfing her little arms. “Why do we have to separate them?”

“So the cookies don’t turn out flat, sweetie.” Videl replied, taking the bowl and placing it on the counter. “We want them soft and fluffy for Xiu-ying, right?”

Suddenly, the front door swung open, Gohan rushing inside with panicked movement, his arms swinging up and down and feet sliding on the floor before he slammed the door shut.

“Tell him I’m not here!” He exclaimed before bolting to the next room.

The girls looked at each other, confused, before Videl turned to where her husband ran off to.

“Tell who?!”

The door opened again, but a little gentler, as Piccolo stormed in, brows furrowed in anger. “I have super hearing, Gohan! Hiding your ki won’t save you!”

“Hi Piccolo!” Pan smiled, waving to the green man.

He stopped in the middle of the living room and turned to the three, eyes widened. “Oh! H-hello, girls.” He slightly waved, embarrassed he didn’t notice them and a small blush formed on his cheeks.

“What are you chasing my husband for?” Videl demanded to know, hands on her hips.

The warrior’s face returned to its rageful scowl. “That idiot gave me the most ridiculous thing!” He proclaimed, pulling a phone from his sash by the top with two fingers. “See!” He showed the device’s case, which was a purple peneko with a tie.

“Seriously?” Videl raised a brow, unimpressed by his reasoning, as Pan giggled.

“Aw! It’s so cute!” Janet cooed, hands cupping both cheeks.

“I-I don’t do cute!” Piccolo exclaimed, cheeks darkening.

“Yes you do! You’re abora-” Pan said before pausing. “Adori-adar-mm!” She groaned and looked up at Janet expectantly.

The teacher responded by whispering, “Adorable.”

“Adorable!” She repeated, her eyes poking above the counter as she stood on a little stool.

The Namekian pouted, his shoulders bunching up and eyes glaring at a wall, as Videl giggled.

“But hey, it’s a nice case.” Janet told him, leaning on the counter as Pan looked at the fresh bag of flour. “And honestly, it reminds me of you. Your favorite color is purple right?”

“Favorite color…?” Piccolo repeated, thinking about it. He never really focused on the colors of things, but he did have a preference for the color, he supposed. “I guess…?”

“You don't sound sure.” She noticed.

“Well…I don’t really bother with having opinions about those kinds of things.” He said, walking up to the counter from the other side.

“What? That’s silly. Everyone has a favorite color.” She stated, growing intrigued by this mysterious green man.

But Piccolo grew uncomfortable with the attention she gave and quickly tried to change the subject. “W-what are you doing anyways? What’s all this?” He gestured to the ingredients and supplies.

“Pan’s friend Xiu-ying got sick so she asked if we could bake cookies for the girl.” Videl explained before pouring the sugar into the first bowl.

“And Miss Janet makes the best ones!” The three year old added as her little hands grabbed the flour.

The preschool teacher giggled in turn. “Oh you’re too sweet! But I’m not-ah-Pan, no, let me open the-” She reached for the girl, who was trying to tear the bag open like a chip bag.

Suddenly, a cloud of flour exploded from the bag, filling the kitchen with white powder.

Piccolo flinched back, raising an arm to shield his face as the girls coughed and waved their hands at the cloud. His eyes widened, seeing them covered in flour, almost looking like ghosts.

“Oh…I’m sorry.” Pan lowered her head, ashamed by the mess she made.

“I-it’s okay, sweetie.” Videl reassured her daughter before quickly grabbing a rag.

Suddenly, a small chuckle escaped Piccolo’s lips, but he quickly shut them closed.

The girls stared at him, flabbergasted, before Janet giggled as well. Her light laughter grew, the others too surprised by his weird laugh that somehow used every vowel in the alphabet. But she found it cute.

“Hahaha! Hey, baking is a messy process! Hehe.” She said before raising a hand and using her thumb to wipe a smidge of flour off his brow he didn’t know was there.

Somehow, the gentle touch ignited the nerves on his skin and his eyes widened, so very unfamiliar with the feeling.

“There you go.” The woman smiled, bottom of her eyes crinkling.

The hardened warrior felt something in his chest bump like a suckerpunch against his ribcage, his tongue suddenly feeling a hundred times heavier.

Videl and Pan stared at the two individuals, gobsmacked, before Gohan appeared in the room.

“What happened to you guys?” He asked, startling the four.

Piccolo’s brows shot up before he glared at the half-saiyan. “You!”

“Oh ssssssugar!” He exclaimed and quickly ran toward the back door, the Namekian following him.

I know, I know... I'm a day late. But, check it out! Some art after a while! And it's my first time drawing Piccolo x Janet!

Originally, I had planned to finish this sketch I did last July after I watched DBS: Super Hero (yarg matey🏴‍☠️) but, I ended up putting it off. Funny enough, if I had went ahead and drew it at that time, I would've started the Piccolo x Janet ship lol. Oh well.
