Has Bella been a target of attempted assassinations? (May or may not be because of her affair with Stolas, possibility of a resentful sister being involved...)

Im having a bit of writer's block, but depending on things I did indicate that they were able to be ahead of Stella and had things ready once Stolas had enough of Stella and the divorce was quick.

The thing is that Stella will be basically too broke to be able to afford an assassin after the divorce since her betrothal contract with Stolas has a loophole indicating that any firstborn child of Stolas born from the female member of Stella's family will be his heir.

Acknowledging Atlas as the True Heir, and the marriage between Stolas and Stella null and void since Bella had eloped with him first and gave him his heir before Via was conceived means that Stella would be seen more as a mistress and Via as illegitimate thanks to the marriage contract Bella and Stolas signed in their secret wedding stating any child that Stolas had fathered with anyone else would be acknowledged as a bastard.

So really it's more that Stella would probably strong arm or persuade Andrealphus to cause harm to their younger sister for causing Stella's humiliation and shame among the demon nobility.

While X' servers were still up and running, I spent a lot of time wandering around Mira, tracking down other players' Crosses, and screenshotting them whenever they had what I would consider a "farewell message". And the other day, reddit user NoodleTF2 posted a compilation of places where other players' Crosses can appear on Mira, which featured several people that I never saw (or never saw outside of menus). This big chonker of a picture (seriously, it's 5850 x 4320 - make sure to look at it in a full view!) is the result of me compiling every single ones of these farewell messages into one singular pic. The centrepiece is an edited screenshot of my own, since I obviously couldn't screenshot my own Cross, and thought that the sunset view of NLA made for a good middle of it all.

Thank you for everyone who came together in X' last days. You all made the end something to remember.

Pairing: Stella Gibson/Jenny Shepard (sort of)

Just a weird meditation on Jenny. Written from the eyes of Stella Gibson, but meant to capture something I’ve always kind of felt about her. Something about Jenny just characterizes nostalgia - for me as well. I wonder if it’s the light, or something about the attitude she’s written with. But even in canon (and we all know how I feel about canon) she makes me feel nostalgic about things that have nothing to do with her.

She only ever sees Jenny in warm light. Jenny’s home is all mahogany and old furniture— England old, not American old. The kind of old that Stella sees in hunting lodges and mystery novels. The house casts Jenny in perpetual warmth, or maybe, maybe it’s the copper of her hair. Maybe it’s the way she moves through the light, hovering in the softest corners of a room. Because despite the cool blues and greys of Stella’s apartment, Jenny glows in the old tungsten lamplight, like a human hearth for December. 

She looks at Stella like she knows everything, one eyebrow arched mischievously. She flicks an ember from the fire off of her sweater and smiles. Something in Jenny’s smile reminds Stella of holidays as a child, hauling in a tree with her father as relatives remarked that she was stronger than she looked. She thinks of every time she’s smiled with her mouth open, the best meals she’s ever had, the few nights she’s spent reading a book in one sitting. 

Jenny wears nostalgia like a second skin, spreading it to everyone who meets her. She’s kissed it into Stella, rubbed it deep, left it under her skin. The London rain falls outside, but she remembers it like snow. That was Jenny’s peculiar charm.
