Thoughts on J2 regarding Misha/Cass and JIB2017

As we all know, Jensen is 1000% done with the destihellers and their destihell bullshit (understandably so since they harass him with ship questions at basically every con, even though he’s made it abundantly clear that he wants nothing to do with it anymore) and it’s clear that Misha grates on Jensen, and that Jensen doesn’t want to spend any more time with or around Misha than absolutely necessary. Now, for years Jared has seemed rather neutral on Misha and more willing to deal with Misha and be around him than Jensen (if only to screw with Mishs’ scenes), and I’m not sure if Jared said anything like this at any of the cons last year, but this year he’s been saying some anti cas stuff, not hatefully of course, but things basically like he(Jared) doesn’t like Cass, would prefer to have Cass (and therefore Mish) gone from the show, and he could have been joking, but to me it came across as actually fairly genuine, and then the, um, Drunk!Jensen incident during the Jensen/Misha panel at this years JIB con, and how Jensen apparently always gets (a little) drunk at this particular con and especially during his panel with Mish, though not as much as he did this time, got me to thinking, what if Jareds comments and apparent desire to have Cas/Mish off of the show is Jared’s protectiveness coming out, since he can no doubt see how much the destihellers/cockless and Mish and all of their BS grate on Jensen, maybe he’s trying to help distance Jensen from all of that toxic crap? I’m sure that Jared of all people understands that all of that BS grating on Jensen can cause (and probably does) him to feel irritated, aggravated, anxious (because there doesn’t seem to be an end to the BS in sight) and that all of that can potentially lead to Jensen falling into a depression. Now Jensen may never have a depression episode like Jared has had, but do you really think that Jared would want to take that chance? Or that he’d do nothing to help his best friend when clearly these things are taking a toll on him? Because I don’t. I love how supportive the Js are of each other and that they always have each other’s backs, so that makes me feel a little bit better about all of that, but godDAMN I wish the hellers/cockless stans would just leave all of the ship shit at home/in their fanons (where it belongs), but of course they give ABSOLUTELY NO fucks about anyone but themselves and their ship.

These are mainly my own personal musings, and I’m not trying to present anything as fact except what has already been confirmed as fact.

Personally, I think they do too many Cons and should relax during the summer, this way they don’t need so much time off during the season and we can have less episodes/scenes that focus away from Sam and Dean.
