welcome all to my first ever kinktober! the theme will be inappropriate usage of devil fruits - i've had scraps of these fics for a while, but seeing the concept brought up in an ask game (shoutout @thus-spoke-lo) has inspired me to use it as a theme for this upcoming event! fics will tend to be on the drabble / shorter side, but we might just get a longer one if i'm feeling inspired. generally, won't have a lot of plot, either - just a heads up. looking forward to writing, though! So about the Devil Fruits:

Optimus Prime: I see Optimus having the Moku Moku no Mi/Smoke-Smoke Fruit, like Heatwave not only does it allow its user to be a smokey cloud, but it also allows them to be impervious to most physical attacks Not to mention it can cancel out fires. Not to mention user their smoke to trap or carry others. Another one that Optimus might like that are also Logia are the The Hie Hie no Mi/ Chilly-Chilly Fruit or the Yuki-Yuki no Mi / Snow-Snow Fruit, all are good for offense and defense with its ice powers. But also the Jiki Jiki no Mi/Magnet-Magnet Fruit, where he can use magnetism to control metal and be great against Decepticons.

Prowl: Ether the Maki Maki no Mi/Scroll-Scroll Fruit where he can create scrolls to capture or store anything inside them. The Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Kyubi no Kitsune/ Dog-Dog Fruit, Model: Nine Tailed Fox which would alow him to turn into a Kitsune with all its powers like illusions and a fox form. He probably have a lot of fun with the Tori-Tori no Mi/ Bird-Bird Fruit Model Falcon, since he loves birds. Though he may even like becoming a real human with the Hito-Hito no Mi/Human-Human Fruit.

Ratchet: I see him as a healer so he like Chiyu-Chiyu/Heal-Heal Fruit, where he could heal those who are hurt with just his tears (if a Cybertronian would have any). Giro-Giro no Mi/ Glare-Glare Fruit which allows user to see through anything like X-Rays, especially helpful for a medic like him who doesn't always have the right tools for it. But the ideal one would be the Ope-Ope no Mi/ Op-Op Fruit, which allows a person with medical expertise to control a space as their ideal operating room.

Bumblebee: As a bot with an electric personality and attacks he might like the Goro-Goro no Mi/ Rumble-Rumble Fruit, which is a logia which allows its user to become lightning and electricity. Another is the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Leopard or the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Cheetah, basically giving him the strength and speed of these wild cats. But one he might enjoy is the Nuke Nuke no Mi/Through-Through Fruit, which allows the users to walk or travel through any solid surface like a Phase Shifter, and if Bee is anything like Smokescreen he like this one!

Bulkhead: I can see Bulkhead also liking the Ato-Ato no Mi/Art-Art Fruit like Boulder! Where he can create abstract art out of anything and anywhere, but if he's not careful anyone too though it be great against Decepticons.

Sari: As for Sair, I'm not totally sure but I think she maybe like the Yuki-Yuki no Mi / Snow-Snow Fruit given how pretty it is. Or maybe the  Bari Bari no Mi/ Barrier/Barrier Fruit to create shields and barriers for people and her friends to shield themselves. Or the Chiyu-Chiyu/Heal-Heal Fruit, where she could heal those who are hurt with just her tears. A boost to her healing abilities with the key.

Devil Fruit AU

In honor of the One Piece episode coming out, I'm making a crack Transformers Prime AU where devil fruits exist, and I picked who gets what based on either personality or plot points. In this AU, they were made by some Dark Energon getting into plant life. Some spoilers for how certain fruits work, so it'll be under the cut.

Fowler has the Bari Bari No Mi, which he uses as combat help and, sometimes, to create constructs he can use to get around. He was chosen as the liaison for the Autobots because of this ability.

June has the Ope Ope No Mi, and instead of being a nurse, she's an outright surgeon. She rarely uses the fruit for combat, but she can if so desired.

Jack has the Suke Suke No Mi, which he uses more or less to do stealth stuff or get himself and his friends out of dangerous situations without being detected.

Raf has the Jiki Jiki No Mi. He doesn't use it often for hopefully obvious reasons. No one but Jack and Miko even know he has it for a while. But when it gets out that he has it, well... Megatron may or may not have hurt him for more than just being a dick.

Silas has an artificial Uo Uo No Mi, Model: Seiryu. No one knows where he got it or who the original is. He sees it as a burden more than anything and only ever uses it as a last resort. MECH becomes an enemy of the Decepticons and a very shaky ally of the Autobots because the Cons are interested in his fruit.

Miko has the Gomu Gomu No Mi. Or, more accurately, the Hito Hito No Mi, Model: Nika. She mainly just does elastic stuff with it right now, taking advantage of her greatly increased durability to sneak on more missions and do more because it's harder to flatline her. The fruit is said to have a mind of its own, and sometimes she's had bizarre dreams. Fowler is the most worried about this for unknown reasons and wants her to be in less danger so her fruit doesn't have the chance to awaken.

The user can launch blades of blood or create creatures out of blood to attack their enemies. They can also harden their blood to make it so blades can’t leave deep cuts. The user can also change the blood type of the blood they create for blood transfusions. If the user’s own blood enters the opponent’s wounds then they can even take control of the opponent’s body. The more of the user’s blood in the enemy, the easier it is to control them.

Orora Orora no Mi (Aurora-Aurora Fruit)

The Orora Orora no Mi is a logia devil fruit that turns the person who eats it into an aurora human or northern lights human.

This devil fruit gives the user the abilities of the Pika Pika no Mi (Blink-Blink Fruit or Light-Light Fruit) and the Jiki Jiki no Mi (Magnet-Magnet Fruit). Basically allowing the user to turn themselves into and produce light while also giving them control over magnetism as well.

Gitai Gitai no Mi (Mimic-Mimic Fruit)

The Gitai Gitai no Mi is a paramecia devil fruit that allows anyone who eats it to become a learning human.

The user of this devil fruit is able to freely copy any technique they see. The user can also make their clothes mimic the properties of other substances such as iron. If the user is advanced enough, they can also use their hair to create copies of themselves.

Awakening

If the user manages to awaken their devil fruit, they’ll find out that it is a mythical zoan type similar to the Gomu Gomu no Mi.

The devil fruit’s new name is the Saru Saru no Mi, Model: Sun Wukong (Simian-Simian Fruit, Model: Monkey King).

The devil fruit now gives the user all of the abilities of the Monkey King.

The powers of the Tawā Tawā no Mi work similarly to the Shiro Shiro no Mi (Castle-Castle Fruit) by turning the user’s body into a structure to store items in. However, unlike the Castle Fruit, the Tower Fruit is much more self sustaining. Denki Jiki no Mi / Electro - Magnetic Fruit

- A Paramecia Type Devil Fruit

This power gives the user the ability to control , and become waves on the electromagnetic spectrum.

Radio Waves: The user can emit different radio waves from their finger tips that can travel up to 500 miles away. This can also interfere with electronic devices and transponder snails.

Microwaves: The user can emit heat from their body to up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This can also interfere with electronic devices.

Infrared Radiation: The user can emit , and sense , infrared radiation from their palms and the platforms of their feet. They can detect heat from up to 60 miles away. They can also create fire or make things scorching hot.

Visible Light: The user can use reflect , refract , and amplify existing light. This can be used to create illusions or blind opponents.

Ultraviolet Radiation: The user can emit UV radiation to reveal hidden markings or harm living organisms.

X - Rays: The user can emit X - Rays to see through people and objects. They can also use it to give high doses to enemies in order to harm them.

Gamma Rays: The user can emit Gamma Rays , causing explosions and other blast - like abilities.

The downsides to each part:

Radio Waves: Radio waves can cause the user to feel immense pain in their head and harsh ringing in their ears. If it gets too high for too long , the user can cause permanent damage to their ears.

Microwaves: The user can only hold up so much heat before falling victim to it themselves. The user can probably handle more and more depending on how much they train themselves.

Infrared Radiation: Similar to Microwaves , the user isn't immune to their own heat. But in this case , they can turn certain body parts into flames. Though , too much exposure can cause permanent eye damage due to being able to see heat and sense heat.

Visible Light: The user cannot create light. They can only do basic things to it such as; Diffraction , Reflection , and Refraction along with Amplification. They are also not immune to it and can blind themself by accident.

Ultraviolet Radiation: Same reasons as most. The user isn't immune to UV radiation and can cause harm to themselves by using it for too long.

X - Rays: Using their X - Rays can cause strain on the users eyes and head.

Gamma Rays: They aren't immune to their explosions and such. They can cause harm to themself.

However , with much training , they could become immune to certain aspects. But for now , they aren't. I also had the idea of making the user able to use one part at first until they slowly start to use multiple + strain themselves until they master their abilities and are able to use , and combine , multiple at a time. They would also probably have a lot of scars from their devil fruit. Oh ! And to use it , they have to understand the Electromagnetic aspects.

Actually, I am not done talking about Kid and Killer yet, so here is my headcanon for their backstory. Basically, in my mind Killer originally came from a relatively wealthy family, at least wealthy for their island - he didn't have the best home life, so he spent a lot of his days out and about, avoiding going home at all costs. It was during one of these trips where he met Kid for the first time.

Kid mistook Killer for another street boy and they sooner or later became friends [at one point Kid proudly showed Killer his "home" that he had found for himself on the scrap yard he grew up in. And Killer tried really hard, not to think about his own bed at home]

Kid, also, made it very clear that he did not care for wealthy people and Killer, therefore, wasn't sure if he could and should tell Kid that he was a member of a relatively wealthy family.

A while later Kid got hurt while they were in town and Killer, not sure what to do, made sure that the coast was clear and took him to his house [another scene I can't help but think of is Kid sitting on a kitchen worktop, swinging his legs, more or less unbothered, while Killer is trying to apply band-aids to some cuts and scrapes etc.]

After a while, Kid asked Killer how he got them in here, and Killer claimed that he was the cook's son... there is a lot that happens later that I haven't thought about in detail yet. But basically it goes:

At one point, Kid spots Killer with his parents in town and refuses to talk to him for a while. They reconcile.

Killers parents have the Jiki Jiki no Mi in a display case - it is later eaten by Kid in an attempt to safe Killer from his own father [the man ends up dying and is may or may not the first person Kid kills]

After that Killer runs away and truly starts living with Kid and it goes on like that.

As a Pride Demon, what abilities does Kid have?

The first thing to know is that Pride Demons are incredibly rare and that amongst demons, they are maot often to go on to become Kings. Through his mother’s blood, he could have been a Demon of War, and through his father’s, he could have potentially been a Wrath Demon. But Kid defied expectation.

His abilites are unusual:

Mental domination.

Can boil a person's blood in their veins. (Although that’s an inherited ability from his maternal grandfather)

Command over lightning (particular devastating combined with his Jiki Jiki no mi), unique to Pride Demons.

Can grow a second set of arms (Luffy’s a fan)

I don’t know if it’s an ability, but one of the perks of his classification is his natural draw? I don’t know how to describe it. People, especially other demons, flock to him. Want to be led by him. It's part of what makes Pride Demon’s kings.

Now on with the show (this... took me over 2 hours to write 😖)

I answered something similar to this before about what fruit I would eat. I talked about how the Hana Hana no Mi would be a super convenient ability to have in a way that I can do pretty much everything without leaving my bed, though one would assume that using the ability and sprouting extra limbs everywhere would actually result in more calories burned which would lead to A) burn out and B) gains. I imagine in a more realistic art style, Robin would be jacked as hell like Zoro and would eat as much as Luffy (maybe). I wouldn't hate that. (Best thing from it is I would be able to take the perfect photos of myself and even design my back tattoo properly because I'd actually be able to see it. SUCH CONVENIENCE!!)

Following this, I think the Hana Hana no Mi is very powerful in a way that being able to clone yourself and be in multiple places at once, sprouting specific limbs onto any surface, and she can fly (well technically gliding and only for a flew seconds) is a major game changer, and with the ability to clone...

Teleportation

I don't think this is a canon ability yet, but she can do this in the video games. She's basically Jean Grey (all seeing [not exactly telepathy but I think you get the idea]), Multiple man (clones), Spiral (many arms), Night Crawler (teleportation [maybe]), and Angel (flight [sorta]) all in one.

Her biggest weakness is if any of her limbs take damage, it projects onto her real body. If a clone hand loses a finger, she loses a finger. If she sprouted an eye onto the back of someone's head and their sweat dripped, she'd lose visibility for a hot moment. She's an amazing spy and covert agent, but has terrible defense.

Now going into a more literal thought process...

I'm at a toss between the Goro Goro no Mi and the Jiki Jiki no Mi. Eneru was able to forge gold with electricity, but Kid's awakened fruit has a similar ability with creating weapons with scrap, just not as refined - more hodgepodged. Kid's ability is limited to only magnetic metals (of which gold is not), but gold being as soft as it is, we don't know how far Eneru's ability can go which different metals. Though the Ark Maxim seemed to have a gold and glass engine, the pipes weren't as bright and yellow as Eneru's staff, so it could have been brass or copper, but it didn't look like iron or steel (I had to check the episodes for this). The Ark Maxim was built by Gan Fall's men though so there's also the possible that Eneru didn't forge any of that.

Disclaimer: I am not a scientist; I know nothing about physics. This is just what I can gather from many web searches over the past few years trying to figure out Kid's fruit for a fanfic I'm writing. It's all theoretical and more than likely inaccurate. No- scratch that. EXTREMELY inaccurate.

Kid's ability is based around electromagnetism and while similar to a Tesla coil (extremely unstable and radioactive btw, so terrible), I think his ability is more similar to Tony Stark's arc reactor (yeah, I'm going to mention other comic book universes a lot here). Kid produces his own magnetic field, can assign fields to others and can even produce an energy beam. 1 and 3 Iron Man can do. That's pretty damn powerful.

Kid's Damned Punk is an electromagnetic canon, essentially a railgun. But railguns are just really really fast slingshots if you think about it. They propel a projectile as speeds of up to Mach 7 - estimated around 5300mph or 8600kph. There's no gunpowder. Any explosion you see is the impact of the projectile blasting through its target. Railguns are unreliable in a sense that they breakdown with use and are very expensive to power and maintain. Says a lot about Kid as a person lol

The Arc Reactor's electromagnet does [insert science words] to make [science words] which turns [science words] into plasma [more science words] it's just a lot to take in okay. They took creative liberties and bent the laws of physics to make this work for Marvel. One Piece has no laws; it's an utter mess!! And I can approach this any way I want. It's devil magic. BASICALLY... the Iron Man suit's electromagnetic fields change atomic energy in plasma based particles that fuse together to create the repulsor rays (hand blasts) and uni-beam (chest blast). I can't explain it beyond that. I probably shouldn't have gotten so deep into this in the first place.

Looking at Iron Man's Repulsor Rays "are pulsed, laser-path guided, medium-density, plasma projectors, capable of generating a maximum concussive force of 150 pounds of TNT." From what we've seen in One Piece, so many characters have been hit with mortars and only walk away a bit dusty. Big Mom could have easily withstood this much TNT. I think Kid's awakened fruit is essentially an unrefined, not as strong arc reactor but his body can withstand it and that's why he doesn't explode.

I say the Jiki Jiki no Mi is more powerful than the Goro Goro no Mi, but it all comes down to who can charge more cellphones in a minute: Shazam or Iron Man. Though they'd both be able to power an entire city no problem.

Last but not least. The most powerful DF of them all.
