Synopsis - After stranding off from your vacation group, you meet a merman at the dock of the sea. (Part 3 of the Monster Collab)

You were out for a walk.

Needing to get away from your group you went with on vacation with after a argument over staying in or going out to party. You of course wanted to stay in, because it wouldn't make sense for you to go out after a long day of sight seeing and traveling.

On your walk you found yourself at the shoreline of the island. It was dark with only a few lights. Walking on the wooden dock. You made your way to the end, where ships would dock and release passengers. You sat there and dangled your feet off the side, water brushing against your sandaled feet.

“Hi.”

You jumped at the sudden sound of the voice beneath you. You look down you and sure enough there was a dark haired man. He had on his head above the water and bobbed up and down with the waves.

“Um… hello?” You said awkwardly. He seemed to like the acknowledgement and smiled.

“You're really pretty. Like really really pretty.” He said rising up further. Then you saw his waistline. It was a transition from human skin to scales.

Pink scales at that.

Your eyes widened.

“What are you.. like a mermaid…”

“Oh, um… well merman per say. That thing of myth and legend… that's me. Please don't be scared!” He quickly rambled out. He looked up at you with pleading eyes.

You were about to get up but you started to feel bad. It's not like he was about to hurt you. In fact he just seemed really anxious around you.

“I'm not scared… trust me. If anything I'm just stunned… the island here does have a weird fascination with merpeople…” You say quietly. On your way here you saw so many different mermaid statues and souvenirs you could fill your apartment back home and then some. “It's almost like they made a religion around you guys or something, are you like a god?”

The merman laughs at that. His laugh is so intoxicating. You can't help but laugh along side him. “Your funny. What's your name, I'm Jin.” He sticks our a clawed hand and you hesitantly take it shaking it before giving him your name. “And not a god, just different. People lean towards things that are different, see them as either a hindrance or a higher being.” He seemed pretty educated on human behavior or just really philosophical.

“Well that's pretty much true. So why are you up here… I mean it can't just be up here because you saw me.” You ask climbing down the dock and sitting on the support wood, allowing you to get closer to him.

“Well, I like to um, take things. Things I find interesting!” He says enthusiastically, showing you his brown sling bag. It was huge and and reeks of seawater. He digs in and pulls out a small glass figurine. It's of a cat, the features smoothed out. He passed it to you watching your reaction. “Pretty isn't it?”

Your fingers ran over the smooth cat. You nod in agreeance. “Very, where did you get this from?” You ask genuinely curious.

“A shipwreck. They have lots of those on the ocean floor. Filled with so many fascinating things.” Jin says moving to be closer to you. He had such an amazing wonder for the world, and everything in it. It was refreshing to be around someone like that.

His hands touch your leg, your calf in particular. He ran them all the way down to your feet. You let out a small giggle as he touches the top of your sandaled feet. He retracts quick. “Did I hurt you?”

“No not at all it just tickles.”

“Awww thats cute. It's just that I've never touched one before… human legs I mean.” Jin said going back to drag his claws along your leg gently. “Your skin is really soft.”

You smile at him and blush. You continued to talk with him, Yom telling him about your world and you talking about your vacation. You were about to speak before you were quickly cut off. A yell was heard. It was the yell of your name.

“We're sorry! Just come back inside it's unsafe out here.” You recognized it as Algee, one of your closer friends. You saw his form on the distant dock.

“Shit, I'm sorry Jin. I have to go…” You say climbing back up. Jins face instantly dropped, his eyes full of remorse and sorrow.

“Will you come see me again, before your vacation ends?” He asks looking at you. You nod your head as you begin to head away. You look back seeing he was still there, just watching you leave. It only hurt your heart more to have to leave him.

Around 2 days had past. You had been talking to Jin every night, him becoming more and more open with you and vice versa. He gave you so many gifts he has uncovered, most of your souvenirs being those gifts.

It was mid day and you stayed back to cook for the group rather than having to eat out again.

You then heard a loud bang and people bringing Algee in. You ran to the living room of the Airbnb to see him with slashes on his chest. “What happened?!” You ask looking at one of your other friends.

“Something attacked him, we were at the beach and he went into the water and kept walking and when he was deep enough something dragged him under.” She explained going to get a wet towel and a bowl of ice. You took the towel and began to dab at the wounds on his chest. He hissed at the feeling.

“We.. we need to leave…” Algee says in-between heavy breaths. He looks at you with nothing but fear. “There's something out in that water, and it wants to get me.

“Okay, we leave tomorrow morning okay?” You whisper, kissing the top of his head. This successfully calmed him down a bit as he laid on the couch, the towel stopping his bleeding and wounds temporarily. “I'll pack your things okay?”

Late that night you were on a mission. You had to tell Jin goodbye for good. With what happened earlier you and your friends were for sure not returning.

“Jin!” You yelled hoping to catch him before you left. You were at the shoreline, your sandaled feet touching the water. You then see your new found friend swimming towards the shore. He perches himself to where he was almost emerged from the water.

“What brings you here? Usually I'm the one waiting for you.” He jokes, laughing boisterously. But he stops upon realizing your sad face. “You're not laughing… did I do something wrong?”

“My friends… were leaving tomorrow.” You say, voice filled with sadness. Jin face goes into a one of almost shock.

“I thought you were leaving in a week.” He said almost desperately. “Why? Why so soon?”

“Jin, something attacked Algee.” You said sitting down and slumping forwards. “He had these deep wounds on him. There's no way we can stay after that.”

“But… You can't.” Jin grabbed your leg, gently looking up at you. “You're my friend. My only friend… you've shown me so much joy and happiness. I can't go back to how I was before.” You kneeled down and gave him a hug. You could feel tears cascade down your back as he sat up hugging you.

But once you pulled away Jin quickly connected your lips. Upon that connection you felt as if your body had went numb and you brain turned off. You collapsed to the sand, still aware of what happened around you. “Shhh, it's okay. Your not going anywhere, your coming back with me baby okay?” Jin rambled as he leaned over you. His fingers hovered over your face and went to snap in front of your eyes which you could barely process the loud sound. He let out a hum before digging into his bag again. He pulled out a unnaturally pink pearl and pushed it past your lips.

“That should dissolve so you can breathe underwater… like me.” And he wasn't wrong, as he began to drag you to the water, you could breathe perfectly fine.

“I attacked him. But it's all going to be okay. I'll bring you home, we can work past this. Together.” Jin admitted as you felt your body submerge in the water.

In the back of your mind you really hoped your friends noticed your disappearance but, you knew they haven't. You were truly trapped.

This fic includes SO MUCH pining but LWJ is a PROFESIONAL (mostly) and would NEVER (he absolutely does) hit on his employer. Meanwhile WWX does everything in his power to make LWJ break. Solid fic, I love their flirtations.

NOTES: I LOVE this author so much, one of my all time fav WangXian Au writers. This author does such a good job of setting and describing a scene and then making you feel too many things. This is less directly Wangxian in the crime/gang au and more so them (read: WY) being affected by the AU. Truly when the murder mystery game night is TOO damn real.

NOTES: Okay, buckle up. Full disclosure your boy Wangji is Not Okay in this fic. Steer clear if descriptions of child abuse, torture, grooming bother you (they should be tagged honestly, even though it is a past mention, it was still so painful to read). This fic does have a happy ending but there is a ton of angst in it. This is another not quite Wangxian in the gang but rather linked/affected by the gang/mob.

NOTES: A shorter fic that is a child acquisition fic but also an impacted by the gang (sort of and loosely) fic. I love a solid "Lan Zhan is not the step father but the father who stepped up" plotline. Any fic in which Lan Zhan see's WY with a child and is like "I must keep and protect both of them" is my absolute favourite. Anyways this is basically a bunch of fluff.

“How did you know that I was the one for you?” You asked curiously. It was a dreary day— a perfect one to stay indoors and laze around with your husband; which is exactly what you were doing. You rested your head on his shoulder, hugging his waist as he read a spell book. But he wasn’t really paying attention to the words anymore. The book was a lot less interesting than you, or the questions that your brain prompted you to ask.

It had already been a year since you were married to Go Won. Your wedding anniversary was just around the corner, and as the king of the country; Won made sure that only the most luxurious of parties would be planned as a celebration.

“I believe there were many factors to that, my love.” He hummed in thought and you hugged him just a little tighter. “Of course, you know that Jin Buyeon recommended you to me. I probably would not have met you if it weren’t for her. Have I ever told you that I used to test you?” He turned slightly to look at you, a cute grin on his face.

You laughed in disbelief, “Really? I assume I passed those tests since I’m here with you now?”

He agreed, “Of course you passed them all. There were only 3, and they were all quite simple. Firstly, I needed to make sure you were more reasonable than I was. Secondly, you needed to make my heart flutter. And finally, my turtle needed to like you.”

You giggled at the last one. You remembered clearly how shocked and thrilled Won was when he first introduced you to his pet turtle. It had also been one of the moments where you realized you truly loved him. He was a simple man, but he cared deeply for his people and his country. His turtle was probably the most precious thing he owned, and he still cared for it to this day.

It had practically ran to you (as fast as a turtle really could run) when you had first met. As funny as it sounded, that was all Won needed to know you were the right woman to marry. Apart from your attractive wit and breathtaking beauty— you had a good soul; and that Go Won knew from his turtle.

“I guess I should thank him for bringing us together then, hm? He should get his own spot at our anniversary banquet.” You mumbled mindlessly, lazy smiles present on both your faces.

“If that’s what you wish, then I shall see it done.” Won replied happily, shooting a grin towards the fancy water dish that his turtle was kept in.

Truly, Buyeon had not lied when she said it possessed good energy. It never seemed to stop giving Go Won good luck. It had separated him from Jin Mu, brought him closer to Jang Uk, and found him a wife all within just 2 years.

“Did I ever tell you that I love you?” You asked, smiling against his skin, your face buried in the crook of his neck. He smelled sweet, but it wasn’t any less regal than you would expect from a king. It suited him perfectly. He embodied everything sweet and lovely and playful. From his bright eyes to his slight dimple when he smiled; your husband only knew how to love you with his entire being. He couldn’t love you with anything less even if he tried.

“Daily, darling.” He whispered, too caught up in the feeling of your warm breath hitting his neck. Your lips hovered over the skin as if you were still thinking about whether to kiss it or not. But when you finally let your lips fall to meet his soft skin, he found himself smiling, leaning into you in hopes of being closer.

“It’s comfortable like this. I want to stay here all day.” You told him. You would never get tired of this feeling— this pleasant buzzing in your chest that felt so right. Only Won could ever summon the feeling, and you found yourself often thinking about how perfect it was. You would love him for the rest of your life, and even when you died, he would still be the only man you kept in your heart.

“I don’t have anywhere to be. It would be impossible for me to leave even if I did when you’re holding me so tightly.” He said the last sentence in a teasing whisper which caused colour to rush to your cheeks. He wasn’t wrong, and though you could hardly be asked to stop, you at least loosened your grip around his waist. You would hug him for the entire day if you could.

Go Won could tell by the way you shrunk your head down to rest on his back instead of by his neck that you had gotten flustered. You were always one to shamelessly flirt with him until the second he commented on it or flirted back. Your cheeks would grow hot and you would shy away from any affection that he attempted to give you. He thought it was adorable.

“Don’t get all shy on me now. What happened to the neck kisses you were giving me a minute ago?” He teased. Your arms were loose enough now that he could easily turn around to face you— something he had been wanting to do for a while.

You hid in your hands, too embarrassed to show him your face. He cooed at you, gently grasping your hands to move them down. He cupped your cheeks in his warm palms, only worsening your problem. He gave you a smile; a bright one that showed off his dimple and made his eyes sparkle with the love they held for you.

“Don’t look at me like that…” You mumbled quietly.

“Like what?”

“Like… I hung the stars in the sky or something. You look… so in love.”

“I am so in love, and I won’t stop looking at you.” Came his only response. It was a heart-fluttering one, one that you could only expect from your husband. He had always been expertly charming.

He leaned down to kiss you, almost as if completing his statement. And if you ever forgot how much he truly loved you, you were reminded of it every time his lips found yours. Whether it be short pecks or these longer kisses, his love was always displayed in both. When you kissed Go Won, it was as if you got entirely lost in the feeling of him. The rest of the world did not matter when his lips were on yours— it was just you and him, so very in love with each other.

Firstly it feels so unreal TT im so happy Jin is back, I am really really proud of him. He did so good in his military journey, I'm actually really stunned

He's the first member that got enlisted, now he's the first one to be released/discharged from the military 💜

Now nothing can take him away and that's a relief ☺️💕 finally his military is over

Today he got discharged and behind the gates you could see him bidding farewell to his military friends, they were all hugging and shedding some tears 🥹

and the members greeted him in front of the military gate, and Yoongi was at HYBE waiting (for reasons, iykyk), and it was such a beautiful moment 🥰 haha Namjoon came with a saxaphone playing dynamite, everyone was hugging each other ☺️ but Taehyung became really buff, in such short time?? They all became a little bigger/buff, and Jimin hugging Tae and Jin looked so wholesome and cute especially with tae 🥹 precious Jiminie🩷

It was great to see hobi and jungkook again 😌💕 I miss them all

Jin arrived at HYBE and started live, I missed him so much omg 😭🫶 it sounds super unreal to watch him start live, he was still in his uniform and shared stories from the military, showed his awards/certificates etc.

I noticed his voice became a bit deeper and he talks a little bit differently yknow like a soldier but that's obvious because he spent a really LONG time in the military, and that is SO adoring 🥹💕💕 the way he talks, the voice I don't know why it is so adoring to me I missed him so so so much.

🐹 hello everyone, its been such a long time. bangtan! hello its bts' jin. its been a year and a half. its been so long since being in front of a camera and im not too sure what to say but ill try my best. ah whys the screen turning back in my day it worked so well

normally im much better looking but at my discharge ceremony earlier i cried a bit so im a bit swollen. and i came back to the company and the staff greeted me with posters and everything and this flower *brings out huge flower* oh okay go away now *tosses flowers*

🐹 I came into the building and all the staff were there with a huge bouquet and telling me welcome back! I was so happy and the tears came. I cried twice.

As a soldier, I was telling the soldiers that they shouldn't cry, but they were crying and they were soldiers I spent a year and a half with and I cried.

🐹 Everyone, I've been discharged. It's been a year and a half and I wanted to look good for you but. *shows certificate* It's official. I got a lot of awards. I think I recieved 7-8 awards.

🐹 There was another soldier named Kim Seokjin in our unit so they called my name out twice and I got confused.

my friends also made and wrote me this poster. ah im embarrassed to say this but i was really popular in the military so the posters written with tons of words. they said to read it at home so im going to read a bit here

🐹 now! i need to talk about festa. i gave some good ideas but it was criticized! i proposed something for festa since ill have to do it alone, so i talked to the director in charge of festa around oct/nov? but they said theyve already said theyve planned most already. so i suggested a free hug, and they said no. so i pitched my idea of doing a free hug at an outdoor location where we do festa. but they said people could get hurt. but i kept saying i wanted to do it for a month or so because i wanted to hug those who have waited for me. so the company was in discussions, and they proposed that instead of a free hug, how about indoors where one person at a time is let in, and i tried to argue against saying i wanted an outdoor one. and they also said i should only do 50 since its the day after my discharge but i said no, 3,000 people and they finally agreed to 300, and i said no as much people as possible, and they said 500 and i said no, more and we finally agreed on 1,000 people

and this is something i personally wanted to do, so im not sure if the other members will do it. i dont really want this to be pushed to the other members as well. this is purely my interest although i was proposed other events such as fan signs. but i really wanted to do hugs

🐹 i discharged today right? so i havent had much to prepare, but i will do something, but i havent had much to practice and i havent sung in around a year and a half, and i rode in the car with jimin today and we've both talked about how we both are out of practice

now that im a free civilian, i will come to see you often!

1. The loml, /the/ seokjin hair color is purple 💜

It's iconic. It's stunning. It'd just a pretty shade on him. And it's my favorite color, so win-win for me.

2. Blonde seokjin 🥵

I didn’t think anything could top Young Forever blonde Jin, but this Jin, during the Idol era I believe, changed my life! When jin goes blonde, there goes my sanity.

3. Black

Do you expect me to act normal after seeing a vision like this?? LY tear era was a gift for us ot7 fans because dark-haired bangtan was a sight to behold. A gift that kept on giving.

4. Pink jin

Again, an iconic look. A repeat, as well, because I do believe he had this color during the PTD era, but only briefly. He knows what the masses (me) like. I can't believe I wasn't here during the BST era to go crazy over pink Jin. Luckily, he delivered again. It's such a pretty color, I am envious of his ability to pull it off.

5. Brown
