being annoyed by gege killing off all the characters isn’t even about seeing our favs die anymore. it’s that the entire storyline revolves around this now, there is no character interaction at this point. characters die and never get brought up again, just bc he wrote characters doesn’t know what to do with (ie gojo or yuki). in attack on titan, major characters die all the time too but it’s relevant to the story it’s changed something. erwin’s death changed everything and was acknowledged by all characters same with sasha. at this point in jjk it feels lazy and there’s nothing added to the storyline.

I hate that they killed my boi in ch 259. Where do i even begin???

I fucking started sobbing. Why is it just pure pain for us gojo and choso fans.

I have to admit that his death was well done. His death is in the same level of nanami"s death.

Now we will never get to see the holy trinity of brothers

Todo is back,but at what cost.

Even though i saw death flags waving at him.still, i thought he would make it to the end .

Now with the recent chapter, Sukuna no longer has domain or rct .

His ce outputs are at rock bottom.Yuji is gonna kill him. This is yuji"s fight. He will probably kill the binding vow merchant.

But it also means another thing for us gojo copers, our white haired shaman"s returning rate is decreasing.

If yuji kills sukuna ang gojo comes back , what even is his purpose? ,maybe stopping the merger???.

MY prediction is that sukuna will deploy his heian era technique and gojo,yuji,yuta,maki,ino,todo and maybe hakari will jump at him and commence the mass jumping session.

That would make a satisfying ending,but we all know that will never happen as gege is gege.

I hate this manga as it always kills my comfort characters.

fiction is supposed to be a escape from reality,not a reflection of it.

god i miss when jjk was read by people with media literacy and not those tiktok sigma bros who’s entire opinion of a character is how long they live and how many ppl they killed. complaining about the gojo « glazers » while doing that times infinity for sukuna is crazy. the plot is legit just fights now it’s lost all storyline ( for now at least) and the kitkat jokes/ fraud conversations are so boring. ppl got so mean and annoying istg

SPOILERS FOR JJK CHAPTER 259 AND A LONG ASS RANT I JUST HAD TO GET OUT

Look, it's not just that I'm sad Choso is likely getting killed off. He's my personal favorite, and honestly, him sacrificing himself for his last living brother, atoning for the death and harm he caused beforehand, yeah normally it would actually feel right for him to go out this way.

EXCEPT WHAT WAS THE POINT?! Yuki sacrificed herself so he could keep fighting. She had this big, emotional thing where she encouraged Choso to not just throw his life away, to live on and embrace his humanity. It sucked this awesome character who barely got any focus went out so quickly but okay, fuckon fine, but at least she was able to impart something meaningful to-

Oh wait Choso's dead? Just like that? Welp fuck it.

I'm sorry I know, I KNOW, since the very beginning we get told this is a dangerous world, we learn early on that death, cruel, unceremonious death, is a very real thing that just comes with the deal of being a sorcerer. But the narrative clearly wants us to care about these characters. It's not just a nihilistic slog. We're supposed to get attached and find meaning in these characters and the hardships they have to deal with. And I wouldn't be so pissed if Gege didn't keep doing this thing where he keeps killing off characters and ending arcs seemingly because he just doesn't really know what else to do with them in the story. It's not good story telling. I'm sad Choso most likely is dead but I'm more annoyed because I don't feel more sad. It feels so anticlimactic and borderline lazy.

If you set up a characters arc and it ends with them dying and we as the readers are meant to give a shit, there needs to be follow through. Commit to the themes and the tone being established. It's just such a waste and honestly I'm starting to care less and less about how this is going to end. I'm guessing it'll end with Sukuna somehow being defeated but I doubt by the end of it I'll put down my phone and think "man what a satisfying conclusion. I'm glad I read this." I'm probably mostly going to think "wow this could have been way better, but ok,I guess I'm glad I finished it." And that makes me bummed out.

Why?

Why was he born as the strongest and not as just satoru?

Why?

If anyone deserved to live a happy life and get to be a non sorcerer it was satoru, from the moment he was born he was hailed as the "strongest" and treated as such, he was always the strongest sorcerer, the bearer of both the limitless technique and the six eyes, never was he just good old satoru.

My heart fricking breaks everytime i think about how from his birth till even after his death he was used as a mere tool by the jujutsu world. Its mean, cruel really, how unfair it is to the one who deserved the world after working away all his life.

Even after his death, his body doesnt catch a break, does his body not deserve respect ?

His other half ,suguru and him both shared the same fate even if they went in different directions, satoru disliked heck hated the fact that his best friend,his only friend really(of course aside from shoko) was inhabited by kenjaku and now this?

I really want to know how jjk will end, because at this point if yuji defeats sukuna its just fricking unrealistic even if he is the mc ,he alone can not do it and the only man that can help yuji is supposedly satoru.

I hope in another life he is born as good ol satoru and not as "the strongest".
