Okay. I don't normally do this, but I have FEELINGS and I'm gonna let them out.

There was a post on my dash that was basically about how Ai is taking over the academic world in that it can spit out good enough soulless texts and it be pretty much the same as if a person had done it and be accepted. It was a lot more in depth than that, but I personally lack the vocabulary to express it back to yall.

But there was a response to that- and the response is where I personally take issue, bc it was about how 'maybe the ai doing the soulless text for us will now bring us back to being allowed to be creative for creativities sake and personal enjoyment again'.

N. No. No, it won't. A. because *people* are still behind ai, making the ai programs and improving on them! This we cannot ignore and I will dig my heels in on this.

At what point do we acknowledge that if ai is allowed to mimic human passion, that the masses will not assume ai *instead* of true human passion? There will come a point, if ai is allowed to mimic human passion, that an artist will create something astounding and instead of getting credit for it, the masses will look at it and roll their eyes and say "this is an ai painting." And no amount of screaming from the artist who labored over it for decades will stop the masses from echoing false words that an ai created it.

If ai is allowed to mimic human passion, it does not pave the way for our own passionate creativity in the long run. It aims to take even *that* from us as well. Because then, there will be no way to tell the difference between ai and human creativity.

10. Throwing up from over eating or throwing up from eating something that doesn’t agree with them?

Definitely throwing up from eating something that doesn't agree with them!! I feel like the nausea and vomiting from that is more unanticipated and therefore a lot more fun for me to play with. Over eating would have more vomit involved probably, but less angsting and anxiety over why they're puking, and we all know i'm here for the angst babyyyy.

14. Humiliated because they threw up in a crowded area or humiliated because they threw up in front of the last person they wanted to see?(ex: crush, enemy, boss)

This one's hard because both are really appealing!! I'd have to go with humiliated because they threw up in front of the last person they wanted to see, just because i live for embarrassed whumpees and nonchalant (non-caring? indifferent to the embarrassment? it's midnight my brain is melting) caretakers. There's also so many ways to go with this one--they throw up in front of their crush, which is a huge embarrassment because who could like them being so gross like that??? they throw up in front of their boss or another superior, which is super unprofessional and oh god are they mad? are they gonna get fired? are they gonna have to clean it before they go home?? and then of course the fact that they look so totally weak and pathetic throwing up in front of their enemy, i mean really, it's like they're just handing them the win~

RANT ABOUT GENDER INCOMING we need more representation of nonbinary afab people who like/date men. every time i like a guy i feel like i have to put my whole identity aside and just be a girl, which im super uncomfortable with. because that’s all ive ever seen. femme binary women in relationships with guys. even if shes more “gender non-conforming” (onscreen, usually that means she just…wears pants and is angry sometimes) she’s still a woman and the man will see her as a woman. and i just…don’t want that. i want to still be seen as nonbinary when i like a man, and i want him to see me as nonbinary. ik that’s possible, it’s just ive only seen it happen once and it was irl (a friend who was lucky enough to escape the strict gender norms that plague our part of town). i guess i identify more with men who are attracted to men because there’s less of an expectation of gender roles, but im not quite a man, so i dont completely identify with that side the coin either. i don’t struggle with this when im involved with women because wlw are just automatically seen by society as more androgynous/masculine (whether that actually applies to them or not). so im more comfortable pursuing relationships with women. even then, though, when i had a relationship with another nonbinary person, i had a (cis girl) friend (who im really trying to distance myself from) insist that my partner was “the man” in the relationship and that i was “the woman” because my partner was taller than me and had shorter hair (VOMIT). and that made me feel so much less confident in myself. like if i can’t convince other people im not a girl, can i really be nonbinary? so im paranoid about my gender perception around men. but i love men. and i want to eventually become comfortable with seeking out and dating men. i just don’t want us to be seen as a straight couple. because we wouldn’t be one.
