Darry: he’s VERY protective of you. Since you’re the youngest, and because you’re his only sister. In his mind your forever a baby.

Sodapop: would literally treat you like a princess. Like he’ll do nails, skin care, take you with him to the DX, etc etc you’re definitely the passenger princess.

Ponyboy: since you guys are so close in age, your guys relationship is fighting and just the regular sibling dynamic. Since he skipped a grade he makes fun of you for still being in middle school.

Johnny: hes pretty quit towards you. It’s like when your siblings friend comes over and it’s kinda awkward. Every time he sees you he waves and smiles at you though.

Dally: same as Soda he treats you like a princess, you guys drive around a lot and go on a lot of walks. Every time you guys see each other you run up to him and he picks you up and spins you around.

Twobit: he always try’s to get you to watch Micky with him, and whenever you say no he goes like “oh im y/n! im to good for Micky, and hate two bit! Meh meh meh!” In a mocking tone.

Steve: he likes dancing around with you. Like you’ll get on the tip of his toes and he swings you around. And when Soda takes you to the DX he dances a lot more then work.

Question: why can't Broadway musicals tape their performance and put it up on a platform for rental while the shows still on Broadway?

Obviously you charge a fair price for the rental, make it like 48 hours and cost maybe whatever their general admission ticket costs. Then, after the musical comes off Broadway, you make that original cast recording avaliable to buy permanently (like including downloads) for that general admission ticket price and knock down the rental price.

Now you'd have to either come up with a streaming service or license it out to one which is not ideal, but it would vastly improve the availability of musical theater especially to people who live outside of New England or people who don't have thousands of dollars to drop just to go see a musical. Not to mention it could help make newer musicals more accessible and easily spread, and don't get me started on accessibility especially when it comes to physical disabilities that would disallow travel or actually seeing a musical in person. This would also allow people to see the musical and then maybe go watch it in person, which increases revenue.

It also allows a continuous revenue stream for the creative team and possibly actors (depending on how contracts are structured), particularly in cases of musicals with specific historical or literary settings that could be used in classrooms (think Hamilton, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, the upcoming The Outsiders, or like every Shakespear play ever). Or even if a musical is really popular and gets a cult following like 30 years later, it would be available in a watchable format and not just as a soundtrack. Plus it'd get rid of people going to musicals for the sole purpose of uploading a slime tutorial.

A greaser as a secret "friend"

Johnny was walking home after being out. He was kicking a rock while he was walking and his hands were in his pocket. It was a cold autumn night..around 8pm or so. Johnny heard a noise behind him and he stopped walking, quickly turning around and gripping the switchblade in his pocket, but he relaxed when he noticed the noise was just from YN, dropping their book. He quickly went over and picked it up for her.

YN looked at him,smiling kindly as always.

Oh that damn smile. Johnny thought....

YN was a soc,a girl he met at the cinema a few months ago.

Since then they hung around almost every week,of course in secret.

If someone knew a Greaser was seeing a soc,they would freak out....his gang would be quite disappointed in him and so would YN's rich friends (and mostly her family) be.

Johnny smiled back, seeming happy to see her. He handed YN her book and then quickly looked around, seeming to try to hide something. But no one was out there, he was just being careful. “Hey.” He muttered.

YN sighed awkwardly,i really liked him. "Hey,are you ashamed of me?"

"Is that why you never even look at me when you are with your "gang"?" She muttered.

YN was a soc,greasers did not trust her,that's why she thought he was 'ignoring' her,because maybe he didnt want his gang to know he had some kind of friendship with a rich kid.

“No, no I'm not.” Johnny rushed to comfort YN, a bit guilty that she thought he wasn't liking her. She was someone important to him and he couldn't let her believe he didn't like her. "I'm sorry I don't talk to you when others are around. That's just how it is, they can't know about us. If they knew they would hate me."

"Yeah but,I made really big steps....my friends saw me with you!"

"They judged me for being "friends" with a greaser but still,I stayed." YN sighed. "I think you should maybe try,maybe I could introduce myself?"

“I don't know if they could handle it, they have their beliefs and I just…” Johnny realized he was getting a bit flustered. He loved YN, this was so new to him, he never had something this serious. But he knew he wanted to make it work. “Let me just....ugh i dont know!” He was confused and annoyed,why should he even be scared to tell his friends?

Shouldn't they just be happy for him?!

She sighed. "Alright,fine....I'll do it myself!" YN said and without hesitating,she turned around and walked away.

Leaving Johnny speechless.

The next day YN was walking by the cinema,where all the greasers where that day.

YN was walking with her soc friends,wearing fancy clothes and quite expensive.

When they walked past them she smiled at Johnny,turning back to look at him one last time as she walked away.

YN did it on purpose,she wanted that the other greasers saw that, and they clearly did as they all looked at Johnny.

Every greaser looked at Johnny, "You know her?" Dallas asked,quite irritated.

Johnny looked up at him "No...." he lied,clearly really bad.

Every greaser faked an understanding look but they did not believe him,not for a second.

The same night YN and her friends entered the same diner the greasers where in,she quickly saw them but only really focused on Johnny.

Johnny could see YN and her friends as they walked into the diner and he could feel his friends tense up at the sight of them. For a moment he felt like maybe he was doing the wrong thing, but as he looked over at YN and she smiled at him and gave him a small wave, he felt his doubts vanish. That smile always melted away any negativity he felt.

But still,his friends looked like they were about to kill or something.

YN walked up to them and smiled,they all glared at her but still they had to be careful "Im sorry to disturb but I need to borrow Johnny for a few minutes." She joked and giggled,taking Johnny's hand and making him follow her to the bathroom.

Johnny went with her willingly, knowing that they needed to have a private discussion. All his friends were staring at him, giving him looks like he was going to be in HUGE trouble. As soon as they were in the bathroom, he looked at her, waiting for her to explain what she needed to talk about.

As soon as they were alone,YN kissed him.

Johnny was shocked at first but kissed her back.

The taste of cigarettes was strong as YN kissed him but she didn't mind,she thought it was kinda hot.

She loved how Johnny smelled like cigarettes and cologne.

Soon,she pulled away "Omg they looked like thay were about to kill you...." YN chuckled.

........

After that evening,Johnny had the courage to tell the greasers about his secret "friend" that was actually his girlfriend.

They surely weren't happy at first but when they finally talked to her propely....they kinda started liking her.

YN was sure allowed now to hangout with Johnny without someone getting mad. (Or atleast on Johnny's side,YN's family still didnt know anything.)

........

Months passed now and the greasers were now totally comfortable around her,trusting her.

Dallas would always tease Johnny about how clingy he was acting towards YN but Johnny would just ignore him.

After all,all that counted was that he was happy.
