Tarot Lessons: A Deep Dive into The Fool Life is not about the destination, but the journey. The Fool is the 0 card of the Major Arcana. The point before the beginning. The absolute innocent, without notion of danger or misdoing. The Fool lives only in the Now- they have nothing in their past from which to learn, and haven’t conceived that there is a destination to attain; they live in the moment, on their path. This can be seen as a state of grace. They are carefree, but to an extent that is only because they do not recognize that dangers exist. They are reliant on Spirit to protect and guide them on their journey, even if they are unaware of this fact- and by an large, it works. There is a warning here, though- keep your eyes open and stay aware of your surroundings. To live in the moment is to actually engage in your surroundings. It is not merely going through the motions of daily life actually taking part. If you are on your true path, things have a way of working out. Only by being aware in the moment can one sustain this state- if one pays too much attention to where they are going, they are likely to miss trip hazards and or treasures in their immediate zone. New beginnings; leaps of faith; walking your path; state of innocence; spirit guides are present; absolute potential. Each deck carries its own nuances and changes the overarching meaning of the card, sometimes subtly, sometimes in major ways. It’s important to find a deck that resonates with you. Body: I turn 40 in a few weeks and the aging body seemed like an appropriate subject. I am one of those reincarnation believers so this reflects that, which I guess sort of deals with soul as well.

Our journey begins, setting sight on the future. Young and strong, head out for adventure. Our dreams carry us along on a cosmic breeze. But somewhere on the journey we begin to see, Where we began and where our path leads. Until one day when we have become frail and grey. Our path is done but only for a moment. Just a brief rest before we rejoin the cycle.

Daily message-6/13/17 Sometimes the most essential things in our lives fall apart. We swear they are what keeps us going in this life and without it we won't be able to survive. Get to NOV You Day 22: Tarot card or energy you want in your life. I could really use The Hanged Man juju in my life. I can get pretty set in my ways but then I get frustrated that people don’t see or care about the things I do which leads to disappointment and discouragement. I need to practice more patience and examining other points of view to figure out how to resolve these issues as they arise instead of getting dejected.
