if you think about the puppy pack being the new gen of the mccall pack, then i think the chimera pack is the new gen of the hale pack/beta trio. theo and derek r very similar as alphas/leaders (since theo was def not an alpha) with how they treat their betas as soldiers, and are the reason why some of them die (theo directly, derek indirectly) and also push some of their betas to migrate into scotts pack. obviously that means hayden is the new isaac, leaving theo fairly quickly to join liams pack and then ultimately moving away from beacon hills just like isaac did. corey i would say is the new boyd, both of them being invisible in their previous lives before the supernatural and most importantly just wanting to be seen. corey is also the one who seems most okay with being a chimera—outside of when he’s in danger ofc and when theo puts him in danger— because it changes things for him in a good way. boyd was also like that, he even thanked derek for turning him because his life was worse before. tracy is the new erica, becoming more confident after being turned and also becoming more violent. both of them seem meaner after they transform, which we know is only a coping mechanism for the way they were both treated prior to being turned. tracy also has night terrors before being turned similarly to how erica had epilepsy. (similar in that both of these issues impacted their lives a lot; erica had no friends and was being made fun of and tracy could barely focus on school) josh reminds me of jackson, bc of the ways they’re both treated as expendable by theo and derek respectively. theo and derek didnt care about josh and jackson, derek only biting jackson because he was annoying and he knew there was a chance he would die, and theo killed josh twice both times for his own gain, not caring about the life he was taking.

anyway the chimera pack is just the more dark messed up version of an already dark and messed up pack 😭

Teen Wolf Ship of the Day, January 22nd

Josh Diaz x Theo Raeken

It was confusing, how much they trusted each other but would do anything for each other. There was never a moment when they wouldn't kill a man for each other but sweetly and softly with care and love.

Headcanons under the cut.

Josh's favourite movie is Cars. They watch it enough that Theo absolutely cannot stand the sound of Tow-Maters voice

They both skateboard and Josh brings Theo to all of his favourite skate parks and they absolutely torment the Beacon Hills Karens

Theo loves the beach and they go every so often

Josh super respects how important Theo's truck is to him and doesn't disrespect the truck in any way

Theo feels so very soft about Josh and will just sit and watch him sleep or spend time with others, he just loves looking at his partner

Josh plays a lot of handheld video games and he'll play them one handed while petting Theo's soft hair with his other hand

Josh's parents are strict and neglectful so often times Josh will crawl out of his room and sneak to Theo's or Theo will crawl in through Josh's window

Theo and Josh are not a couple that have pet names for each other or do pda, no one would even know they were dating if not for their unwavering devotion to each other

They snipe at each other and make fun of each other all the time. There isn't a moment where Josh isn't making fun of Theo for something or other and Theo is quickly retaliating with a grin on his face

They will absolutely go clubbing together, though Theo sticks very close to Josh in crowds. Josh loves the club energy and Theo loves how happy Josh looks

They trust each other implicitly
