Hi thank you for a Josie/Bela prompt! I definitely need to write more of these two! ^_^ For now, how about Isabela pining for her Antivan princess while away at sea, and sits down to write her a letter?

And I hate not having you within easy reach. It makes me twitchy and anxious, like I’m missing out. I start forgetting details, where the lines go and where “X” marked The Spot. 

Then again, the more I forget, the more time I can take relearning it all again when I dock next.

Isabela puts down the quill, clasps her hands behind her head, and leans back in her chair, so far that it tilts up on its back legs. She balances there with the toe of her boot, bouncing subtly, tongue fiddling with her labret. 

“Well, that’s pure garbage!” she declares to no one but herself and the letter. 

Settling the chair back onto all fours, she plucks the letter from her desk and sets it in the lacquered wooden box with the rest. She closes and locks the box, tucks the key into her boot and the box into the secret compartment in the floorboards. She packs away the writing kit, stands, and heads toward the liquor cabinet. 

Maybe one day she’d get drunk enough to actually mail one of those letters, but judging from the piddling amount left in that rum bottle, that day is not this day.

started thinking about what worldstate i wanna create for my first run in veilguard because of course i have.

we can't import past saves and we won't be using the keep anymore, so I'm not sure how detailed we'll be able to get with it but I've got a few possibilities to play with:

the first and most likely is my mostly canon-compliant worldstate with these bbs:

lorelei cousland [rogue; double-wield] warden / queen of ferelden / li: king!alistair

daphne caron [rogue; double-wield] warden commander / ruler of vigil's keep / li: warden!bethany

ansley hawke [warrior; board & sword] champion of kirkwall / pirate / li: isabela

melisande trevelyan [rogue; archer] herald of andraste / inquisitor / li: cullen

rosalind hendry [mage; knight-enchanter] former chantry scholar / inquisition agent for leliana / li: blackwall

the second is my slightly less canon-compliant worldstate that i never brought into inquisition because i didn't want to have to choose between alistair and my favorite hawke in the fade lmao:

karina amell [mage; i do not remember her spec] warden-commander / li: warden!alistair

rhiannon hawke [force & elemental mage] champion of kirkwall / temp viscount of kirkwall / li: cullen or fenris*

*last summer i did replay da2 with an iteration of rhiannon that actually romanced fenris and i loved it and I've complicated shit for her, lmao. rhiannon x cullen were my goro x valerie of 2013-2014 and making her officially with someone else feels wrong bc i loved them together so much. but i just can't enjoy cullen anymore. so do i do i give rhiannon a boyfriend upgrade? do i make a whole 'nother hawke inspired by her? do i just let rhiannon x cullen and rhiannon x fenris exist in different AUs? i don't know!

and the third is kind of the opposite of the second one: a worldstate i made just for inquisition in the keep with some choices i had never made in the previous games. i don't even have the worldstate in the keep anymore so i don't remember everything but i think it was like this:

keagan trevelyan [mage; knight-enchanter] herald of andraste / inquisitor / li: cullen (although i headcanoned a polycule with her, cullen, and josie)

one of my conundrums with all of these is, as i mentioned, i can't enjoy cullen anymore. he was obviously a big fave, i think his arc is fascinating especially in da2 and especially if you side with the templars and he has to contend with the shit he's done for meredith, and i enjoyed all the different shipping dynamics with all different kinds of ocs. but i can't separate him from his dipshit VA at this point. hearing his voice is just an instant NOPE for me now

i am 99% positive cullen will not be in veilguard for 2 reasons: 1) the writers said during inquisition that they were no longer trying to work in characters whose fates could be too varied depending on player choice and 2) that twitter shitstorm a few years seemed to guarantee ellis will never work with bioware again lmao

now i suppose there's a possibility that ellis could have recorded lines before that happened and somehow they would be able to be used despite all the changes that happened, but I'm trying to be an optimist here

nevertheless, all of the inquisitors i played were with him, and it sounds like we'll be able to engage with our inquisitors in some capacity in veilguard so do i even want to have a passing mention of cullen? idk. i mean, my disdain for his VA isn't so bad that this would ruin the game for me or anything, but i also feel like this is an opportunity to enjoy another character

between keagan and melisande, melisande was definitely my more developed OC, but i just loved playing as a knight-enchanter gameplay-wise so keagan is actually the only one of the two who did trespasser and jaws of hakkon. i never did the descent--the only DLC in all the games that i haven't played. I've been debating firing up my inquisitor!valerie game again to play that with her but i know the descent recommends a pretty high level and i can't remember how far i got in the story with her (I think i just reached skyhold that last time i played)

so anyway, i've got some decisions to make!

as for what i'm leaning towards playing in veilguard: at this point in time, i'm pretty sure my first rook will be a mage of some kind and lucanis sounds like he was made specifically for me lmao so odds are looking good that'll be my first ship

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I write a lot of angst, so I have several angsty fics with angsty endings. This is one of those angsty endings I like the most. The fic is "Another Soul in Elysium". The context is that my canon Shep finds the body of her gf after the Skillian Blitz:

"Thank you…" Shepard said as she kissed her forehead, one last time "... for everything"

Wiping away the tears, she zipped the bag up and confirmed the id on her omnitool, before standing up and walking away… burying another part of her past once again.

It wouldn't be the last.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

This is one of the happiest I've written. Its called Married Life:

As the hours pass and tiredness sets in, Irene places her glasses on the nightstand. The 3 women share a kiss before Merrill turns off the candles with a quick spell.

As they settle against each other, Isabela smiles as she feels Merrill's hand softly but firmly wrap around her stomach. The elf in turn smiles as she feels Irene's toned arm softly wrap around her.

As the three drift off to sleep, a single thought fills their heads.

"How did I get so lucky ?"

A lot of smut. I go from very explicit to more implied and subtle smut.

I really vary on this, cause I usually focus a lot on rarepairs. For DA: basically all ships of Leli x any lady (With a preference for dwarf wardens, Josie, Cass, Morri and Wynne), for ME, a tie between Femshep and Samantha and Maleshep and Cortez.

What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

I think I will get to all my wips eventually, but it will take a long time lol

What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm good at setting up scenes, describing atmosphere and sensations. And smut and angst.

What are your writing weaknesses?

I feel I repeat my writing style very often. It frustrates me a bit cause I often feel that im writing the same fics over and over but with a different coat of pain. I also struggle to maintain outlines.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I think its cool and can add some nice variety.

First fandom you wrote for?

It wasnt't for a fandom per se, cause the first fandom I truly was part of was Mass Effect's in 2017, but when I was in school I did a comic retelling of the Resident Evil series that I never finished, but I think that counts as writing

Favourite fic you've ever written?

A Divine's Hand. I really like how this fic turned out.

Aisling and Trifles Minutiae: She's very anxious about him, she doesn't like people showing up and making her question, what if she get something wrong? It will look like Josephine didn't train her well and that's not something she's risking, by all means. She'll ask for more history books to Josie, beg Radha to explain to her what she read (Radha was always more keen on history than her, she's definitely for STEM or anything practical, and finds it difficult to remember genealogies), pester Cullen on whatever trivia he could remember on king Calenhad (and he could remember quite a lot, they'll spend a nice evening with him rambling over this and that and how cool the Rebel Queen was and her taking notes)(I picture Cullen as secretly a history nerd. More for military history, but a nerd nevertheless.). She in the end got all questions right, but still with THE PRESSURE and looking constantly left and right in rooms to look for him and run the opposite direction. x°D

Raina and the Arishok: Utter respect. She struggles with authority but she can see where his authority comes from and respect it. A lot of things he says make sense to her and she agreed with. Invading the city and hurting civilians was not something she condoned, of course, but he made some points that to her made MUCH MORE sense than whatever the Viscount or Elthina ever said. By the end of Act 2 she was not in a good place of mind (she felt the invasion as a personal failure, all her effort served to nothing. Add the fact that her love life was a shit, she fucked up with Merrill, the thing with Isabela should have been casual but for her really wasn't, Anders confessed and she had to turn him down. Bethany never wrote back from the Circle, her relationship with mother was strained, Garrett was still digesting Fenris dumping her and was colder in general)… If Isabela wouldn't have come back and wouldn't have been threatened, she would have just let the Arishok do his thing and conquer the city, he had strong points, for her, about corruption and how nobles couldn't do a decent job. She didn't care anymore in that moment, she just saw her and her friends horribly outnumbered and… Well. Isabela returned.

And!! About Arianwen...

Aisling and Wen do have some things in common. Aisling would be DELIGHTED to meet and greet all her animals, will coo at each and every one of them (Princess will require some effort, but she'll make it) and for sure will introduce her to Little Brother, Ugo the bog unicorn she helped Dorian resurrect, and all the horses in the stables. And as much as she can get quite chatty when prodded, Aisling has no problems in just vibing with a person and being silent, each doing their own things in close proximity. I don't know how Wen will take Aisling trying to mother her, tho. She'll check if Arianwen eats enough. Will bring her food if she doesn't. She also may try out of curiosity to prod her to talk about feelings with very pin-pointed questions and assumptions. "I saw you with Zevran and with your animal friends, you're very sweet, you know it? Are the knives your defense mechanism because you're afraid to be let down? That's ok, I'm scared of being left alone too, you can tell me." I have the slight feeling it could be too much for Wen and too soon, she'd need more time. She'll understand a knife to the throat and won't repeat the experiment, won't bother her until Wen will signal that she can approach again.

Raina will be much smoother, at least at first. I agree that beside the fact that the world isn't really ready for them to team up, it'd be a love or hate situation, with no middle ground. As for Raina, she's very chill with people until she gets crossed. She'll respect her being silent and won't prod at her too much, she can do the talking for both. She'll let her pet her dog (Beowoof "As the epic hero, do you know the story?") and come to play and pet him whenever she wants, the door's always open. She'll admire her professionality and ability with the blade, will praise her for it and maybe ask her to teach her to throw knives. If Wen has no problems with blood magic or with Merrill, she'll be very chill about her until provoked.

For the Top 5 ask: What are your top five favorite Dragon Age ships? Including OCs as well as any other characters from the franchise

1. as you can see from my url i’m a little obsessed with zevran/surana rn... the parallels between zevran being taken into the crows and surana being taken into the circle are so interesting, the questions of freedom, the assumption in both kinloch and the crows that every relationship is brief pleasure to take where you can but love is unthinkable, zevran not fearing surana but saying dangerous and exciting as reasons they interest him, zevran being someone who will canonically argue for the lives of mages he doesn’t know even at risk to himself, this is becoming incredibly long but i’ve nearly finished my replay and i’m a little crazy rn

2. the red hawke/anders playthrough i’m doing rn is REALLY good so far and has immediately become my current canon hawke. nothing fucks with my baby etc. i don’t play completely red when i’m talking to him bc wizard boyfriend brings out a bluer side, but red dialogue also is sometimes the only way to take his fears seriously and it lets hawke match his intensity in a fun way. lets anders be the funny one too. enjoying that a lot

3. i still haven’t decided what i’m doing for inquisition but my first inquisitor concept was for a male mage trevelyan who would romance josie and i’m still obsessed with it. circle mage getting the fairytale romance he always dreamed of is good. circle mage idiot not thinking anything through and having to duel some guy with a sword for his beloved is even better. i imagine him stumbling and laughing as he tries to lift her up and swing her around and it cures me

4. hmm what else. i find mage hawke/isabela really compelling and i’m excited to do that playthrough sometime. her love of freedom and independence paired with her eventually standing beside you to protect the freedom of those like you... superb

5. struggling to think of a good number five. a lot of the npc x npc ships are like... they’re good but i haven’t seen a lot of them in game yet so i can mostly take or leave them depending on who’s writing. uhhhhhhhh. oh i care a lot abt malcolm and leandra i’m so interested in different versions of them

Summary: Ethan and Josie’s journey into parenthood

Part two of Everything Has Changed

They lay in bed, the morning sun shining through the windows. Josie’s head on Ethan’s shoulder and his arms wrapped around her. One hand resting on her now visible baby bump, and her hand on top of his.

“Okay fine, how about Jordan?” Ethan suggests, completely out of ideas.

“Really, Jordan Ramsey. Gordon Ramsay? You really want to do that to the poor kid?” They’ve been at this for weeks, not being able to agree on any names for their little bundle of joy.

“Okay I see your point. Francesca?”

“Too fancy”

“Lily?”

“Too basic... oh how about Toby! That’s a cute name”

“Absolutely not” Josie gives him a quizzical look. “Too similar to Tobias.” He says, absolutely disgusted at the thought of his child being named anything remotely resembling Tobias. “How about Isabela? Emma? Lexie? Katherine? Lucy?”

“Why are you only listing girls names? They could be a boy y’know”

“They could be, but she’s not”

“What makes you so sure that you know the sex of our baby?”

“Paternal instincts I suppose” he shrugs. “Okay fine have it your way, how about Lucas?

“No”

“You are unreasonably difficult” he jokes “Let’s just hope our child is more like me in regards to deciding making.”

“Says the man who pushed me away for almost two years and only finally really accepted his feelings when I almost died, sounds totally reasonable” Ethan hold her just that little bit tighter when she mentions the attack. He knows it’s in the past, he knows she’s okay but he can’t help but remember the fear of losing her that he had that night. Kissing the top of her head, reminding himself that she’s here with him, she’s alive, she’s safe.

“Okay fair point, we’re both terrible at making decisions.” He looks at her growing belly, his thumb stroking it ever so slightly. “I think we’ll have our hands full with you, won’t we little one?”

Josie walks into the diagnostics team office, exhausted from work and the baby. As much as she loves being pregnant, and starting a family with Ethan, pregnancy is really draining.

She walks over to the sofa and sinks down into it, laying down for the first time in hours.

“Your baby is an asshole” she says, taking off her shoes and groaning at the sight of her swollen feet.

Ethan looks up from his paperwork peering over his glasses at Josie. “Did you just call our baby an asshole?”

“No, I called your baby an asshole. When they’re acting like this they’re all yours.” Ethan sets down his glasses and makes his way over to Josie. Sitting down and placing her feet in his lap, massaging them. “They’ve been kicking and punching me all day, which is normally adorable but today they’ve got one hell of a swing.” As if on cue Ethan sees her bump move, a little footprint appearing. “Here, feel it.” She takes one of his hands and places it on her bump. The baby immediately powerfully kicks against Ethan’s hand, almost like they are aware it belongs to their father.

“Hey, you need to stop kicking your mommy.” Ethan says softly, to his unborn child. “We both love you very much and we can’t wait to meet you, but mommy is really tired and needs some rest okay.” The baby immediately stops kicking.

“I hate you” Ethan chuckles at her. “I’ve been asking them to stop all day and one word from their daddy and they stop, just like that? I’m the one putting my body through hell for them and already you’re the favourite parent” She jokes, her hand resting on top of Ethan’s on her bump smiling at one another other.

“She’s already a daddy’s girl”

“Again, so sure they’re a girl?”

“Yes. Do you think they’re a boy.”

“I think that we decided to wait until they were born for a reason, not for you to keep guessing”

“I know, we are waiting... for our little girl.” Josie playfully swats his arm, laughing at his stubbornness.

Josie awakes to an indistinct voice talking quietly next to her, only to realise its Ethan talking to the baby. She doesn’t say anything, not wanting to interrupt their private conversation.

“I love you so much, I hope you know that. I can’t wait to meet you, I just know you’re going to as beautiful as your mommy, maybe even more if that’s possible. I don’t know how good I’ll be at being a father but I hope to be, I want to be the best I can for you. You won’t grow up as I did, I promise.

Ethan leans forward and places a gentle kiss on her now large bump. He glances towards Josie and notices her looking at him.

“Sorry, I didn’t realise you were awake” he says, slightly embarrassed that he heard her.

“Are you really that scared about this?”

He sits up so he’s now sat next to her, looking into her eyes. “Honestly, I’m terrified. My mother left and my father was working so much just to keep a roof over our heads that he was barely around so I know nothing about having a parent, let alone be one myself. I know that I’m not my mother, I know I’m not going to leave, I know that.” He looks away from her, not able to look her in the eye “But you’re due in two weeks and I’m just scared I’m not going to be enough for you both” he whispers, almost embarrassed and afraid to admit it.

“Ethan” she runs her hands through his hair, in attempt to calm him. “You’ll be an amazing father. You already are and the baby isn’t even born yet.”

She takes his hand and places it on her abdomen, the baby immediately kicking against his hand. “See, they love you already.”

Ethan smiles at her, grateful. “I’m terrified too, Ethan. This is terrifying but I have faith in you.” She takes his other hand and places a gentle kiss on it. “I have faith in us”

Top three DA ships and what you love most about them?

Hello, Anon! Oof, asking the hard questions? 

(I’m going to cheat a little, cause I’m a disaster bi mess and I love so many of the DA ships). So, I’m going to answer this with my favorite 3 rarepairs! 

1) Merribela! Merrill and Isabela are such an excellent ship, because Isabela in game so clearly cares about Merrill, supports her, and just ugh, the power couple they would make? The Admiral and the Blood Mage? I have shipped this ship since I first played through DA2 and I heard the companion dialogue (I was upset they never got together in game - because they would be perfect!). THEY ARE SO GOOD TOGETHER!!!! My absolute favorite rarepair ship. 

2) Nathanial Howe x just about anyone. He is very shippable. Love Nate with a Cousland, love Nate with a Warden, love Nate with Sigrun, or Anders, or Velanna. He is an excellent rogue boy who deserves love!!! I really enjoy Awakening and he is one of my fav companions! I (and the fandom), have been blessed with many good fics/art to make up for the fact that he is not romanceable in game. I love his nose, I love his backstory, I love him and the ships associated with him! 

3) Josephine Montilyet x Krem! I don’t have any deep reason for this, I just think they are super cute together! I’ve written a couple things with them, because, reasons! Krem deserves love and respect and I think could have a beautiful relationship with Josie! I just imagine Krem being soft around Josephine and then Josephine visiting with the Chargers and winning Wicked Grace and ...it’s just really cute!

isabela honestly. i played da2 without much care for her but then like two years on i go crazy when i see something that resembles her Once.

gotta be real i really dislike solas i don’t care that his romance is like tragic or whatever like.....just get with iron bull instead come on he’s fun and tender.

@kiraia​ pointed out (rightfully so) that I made quite a few vague posts about my OCs, but that I’ve never properly introduced them. It’s true, mostly because I tend to wait until they are well developed to properly do anything with them, which doesn’t happen all that often. So consider this a formal introduction to my current OCs :)

(Under a cut because there are quite a bunch of them. I hope it works on mobile, because otherwise yikes! I’m very sorry.)

Sad Mages Worldstate

It’s probably the one I talk about the most. It’s the most developed worldstate, with the most developed OCs and I’ve written a lot of fics about them.

The Warden: Ana Surana [Tag | Complete bio | Fanfictions]

pairings: Ana x Daylen Amell (friends with benefits), Ana x Alistair (DAO romance), Ana x Carver (current pairing, now married) + I occasionally throw Isabela into the mix because reasons.

Born in the Gallows and taken to an orphanage in Highever until her magic manifested.

Grew up close to Anders, Jowan, Amell and (to a lesser extent) Finn.

Had a baby that she was forced to give to the Chantry.

Main DAO choices include: romancing Alistair, getting her heart broken after making him king, stupidly refusing to do Morrigan’s ritual and watching him sacrifice his life for her.

Later she starts dating Carver (whom she actually met at Ostagar where they had a brief fling before the Battle).

Takes part in the Mage Underground and helps Anders build his bomb.

Starts hearing the Calling shortly before DAI.

Is Hawke’s contact during HLtA.

The Champion: Alwyn Hawke [Tag | Complete bio | Fanfictions]

pairings: Alwyn x Anders (DA2 romance, on and off), Alwyn x Cullen (one time), Alwyn x Rylen (post DAI, considering making them endgame, not sure yet).

Purple Hawke.

Carver becomes a warden.

Supports the mages.

Develops a close friendship with Ana.

Breaks up with Anders after the Chantry explosion, wishing he’d trusted him enough to share his plan with him. They do get back together later on.

Is the first one to learn about Ana hearing the Calling.

Stays behind in the Fade during HLtA, but eventually finds a way out.

He was found by Inquisition scouts in the Western Approach, suffering from amnesia.

Later falls in love with Rylen.

(Note that I still need to update that last part into his bio.)

The Inquisitor: Violette Surana [Tag | Complete bio | Fanfictions]

pairings: Violette x Orsino (once twice), Violette x Samson (current partner).

Ana’s mum.

Orlesian who grew up in Ferelden during the occupation.

Was taken to the Gallows at age 13.

Was a close friend of Malcolm Hawke.

Had her baby (Ana) taken by the Chantry. Later escaped.

Hates the Chantry.

Attends the Conclave in the hopes that Ana might be there.

Starts sleeping with Samson after his capture because he basically said fuck the Chantry to her face and it turned her on.

Hardened Leliana becomes Divine.

Other OC: Neriah Amell-Hawke

Is Ana’s daughter. She got her out of the orphanage after the Blight (thanks, Leliana).

Her father is Daylen Amell. Carver adopted her when he married her mama.

Is 18 as of Trespasser.

Second Chances Worldstate

This one started off as an AU for a fic starring Ana and Alistair which is why these two worldstates are so similar. The point of divergence is that Jowan went to Amell for help instead of Ana for some reason.

The Warden: Daylen Amell [Tag | Fanfictions]

pairings: Day x Ana (friends with benefits), Day x Morrigan (DAO romance and while I did consider for a while not having him follow her through the eluvian, I changed my mind. There’s too much growth potential.)

His father was Maurevar Carver, because I say so.

Main DAO choices include: Sparing Loghain, Alistair becoming a drunk, not doing Morrigan’s ritual because he can just throw Loghain at the Archdemon (which he did).

Helps Ana get their daughter out of the Kirkwall orphanage. Bails on them right afterwards.

Does follow Morrigan through the eluvian and actually ends up being a decent dad to Kieran.

Does not become Ferelden’s Warden-Commander.

The Champion: Alwyn Hawke (yes, again)

Like I said, this was originally an AU, so it made sense to keep the same Hawke. There are quite a few differences, however.

pairings: none.

Does not bring Anders to the Deep Roads. Carver dies.

Suffers from severe depression afterwards.

Goes from purple to full blue after Leandra’s death.

Stays behind in the Fade. Probably won’t make it out in this worldstate.

The Inquisitor: Asaara Adaar [Tag | Fanfictions]

pairings: Asaara x Cullen (starts before DAI, now married).

Meets Cullen shortly before the Chantry explosion. They fall in love.

Not going into too much details because it will be part of Second Chances’ main story.

Other OCs: Ana Surana and Neriah [Main fic | Other fics]

Again, can’t go into too much detail because spoilers.

pairings: Ana x Carver (before the Deep Roads expedition anyway), Ana x Alistair.

Day brings Ana to Kirkwall shortly after the Blight to meet their daughter. She ends up staying after they get Neriah out of the orphanage.

Single mom. Works as a waitress.

They find drunk Alistair in their garbage. Ana wants to help him get better.

Other OC: Issala Adaar [Tag]

pairings: Issala x Varric (post-DAI).

Is Asaara’s overexcited little sister.

Likes to tinker with explosives.

Built a handheld cannon. It’s clunky, not very accurate and is prone to misfire. In other words, it still needs a lot of work.

Varric thinks she’s adorable so he made her his personal bodyguard.

Angry Dalish Worldstate

The Warden: Shaelyn Mahariel [Tag | Fanfictions]

pairings: Lyn x Tamlen (Origin), Lyn x Bethany, (considering Lyn x Alistair between DA2 and DAI but even that might be too cruel.)

Doesn’t want to be a warden.

DAO choices include: Alistair remaining with the wardens because he doesn’t want to be king.

No in-game romance, she was too heartbroken after losing Tamlen.

Eventually starts dating Bethany.

Travels to the Free Marches after the death of her clan to kill the man responsible.

Almost dies in the resulting fight against Hawke (thank the Creators Anders was there).

Goes home and confesses to Bethany that she almost killed her brother and that she would have done it had he not been so badass. They break up.

The two of them reconcile post-DAI, after Hawke and Merrill’s wedding.

The Champion: Kris Hawke [Tag]

pairings: Kris x Merrill (now married).

Blue Hawke.

Sadly couldn’t save Merrill’s clan.

Didn’t want to hurt Lyn that badly during their fight, he was just defending himself. Deeply regrets it afterwards.

The Inquisitor: no one specific yet, but likely a Lavellan romancing Solas.

Alistair stays behind in the Fade.

Elves in Luuuuv Worldstate

The Warden: Kallian Tabris [Tag | Fanfictions]

pairings: Tabs x Alistair (DAO romance)

Probably the most canon-compliant OC.

Main DAO choices include: making Alistair king with Anora as queen and becoming his mistress.

Madly in love.

Will have a happy ending.

No Hawke or Inquisitor yet.

Homecoming Worldstate

The Warden: Elaine Cousland [Tag]

pairings: Elle x Nathaniel (pre-DAO, now ex-husband), Elle x Leliana (DAO romance), Elle x Sebastian (current).

Was BFF with Anora during their childhood.

Actually met Sebastian before he was sent to the Chantry. The two of them had similar lifestyles back then, so when Elle visited Starkhaven with her father, the two of them developed a rivalry of sorts in their romantic pursuits (think Merteuil and Valmont, but a lot more light-hearted). They do spend one night together after learning that he is going to be sent to the Chantry.

Eventually fell in love and married Nate. They kept their relationship a secret, however. They divorced after the Blight.

Main DAO choices include: romancing Leliana, making Alistair king with Anora as queen, sparing Loghain and performing the ritual.

Her relationship with Leliana didn’t survive the distance.

Leaves the Wardens after the Chantry explosion and basically goes on the run from everyone because she feels responsible for what happened.

Helps Sebastian reclaim his throne. They fall in love. (I’m currently writing a fic about this, actually)

Still unsure about her DAI fate. Either she replaces Hawke in HLtA and stays behind in the Fade, or she becomes Inquisitor.

The Champion: Violetta Hawke [Tag | Fanfictions]

pairings: Letta x Isabela (DA2 romance).

Yes, she was totally named after Violette.

Is Kris’ sister.

Carver becomes a Templar.

Spared Anders.

Sails into the sunset with Isabela.

DAI fate will depend on what I decide to do with Elle.

The Inquisitor: no one yet.

Loghain survives HLtA.

I am considering having Neriah (yes, again) be the Herald with someone else as Inquisitor since she’s only a kid. In this worldstate, she grew up in Kirkwall’s orphanage before being taken to the Gallows. She escapes the massacre and Carver eventually takes her under his wing.

I'm planning to have two additional worldstates (I want one per warden origin). One called "Happy Dwarves" with a male Brosca romancing Zevran and one called "Dead Heroes" with a male Aeducan romancing Leliana (and probably Alwyn again, idk). I also have a couple of Cadashes that I want to put somewhere, a woman romancing Josie and a man romancing Divine Cassandra. Idk yet if they'll be Inquisitors or if I'll just add them to one of the existing worldstates. Odds are one will be Inquisitor while the other just tags along.

I probably missed a few things here and there, but that’s basically the gist of it. Thanks to anyone who actually stuck to the end, lmao.
