people have talked before about the ten/wilfred and fourteen/donna parallel with the glass wall, but i don't think i've seen anyone mention the cruel irony of it yet?

like think about it: ten sacrificed his life to save wilfred and he would have done so too, more than gladly, to save donna in the star beast. but he couldn't. it was her or 9 million people and i'm not even sure what he would have done, if he would have been able to go through with it or not, had donna herself not told him to.

"why does it have to be this?" he screamed in frustration, because he'd been there before, except this time the decision wasn't his to make

do you ever think about that one scene in journey's end where jack dies and rose freaks out about it? do you ever think about rose tyler mourning jack harkness. that's one of her boyfriends !!! he dies and then she brings her back in an act of love , even though she doesn't know she did that, and then she basically doesn't see him again until he dies in front of her . the doctor is acting like this is completely normal, and she doesn't have time to grieve, and she doesn't even get to talk to jack for an explanation when he comes back to life. and now she'll Never see him again .
