we decided howdy runs the record store with eddie and is into amateur wrestling and drives a harley and is REALLY nice (my exact type so by default i have to make nina his gf srry i make the rules in this house). comes from a military family so is super into fitness. didnt serve but probs went to training or smth. julie is just so slay rawr xD so random tacos i made u a cookie but i eated it. still silly goofy. gives u a tattoo and pierces ur ears at the sleep over. a new hair color every week. lives off of monster, is a monster. she thinks mustaches are sexy

if u understand anything i said for julie, ur millennial is showing.

it’s missing jatp hours

and currently i’m thinking about how the show revolves around grief

julie’s grief keeps her stuck, afraid to play again because of the feelings and memories it will bring, but the boys’ grief wakes her up, it’s only after her first real conversation with luke that she decides to finally play the song her mom left her

there is grieving a loved one, seen through julie, and there is grieving one’s own life, seen through the boys (especially luke)

there’s so much could’ve been or should’ve been, but instead of wallowing the boys push through, enjoying this second chance they’ve been given and encouraging julie to let go of her fears, to live life to the fullest

and i think that’s one of the things i love most about the show, it tells us that grief doesn’t have to ruin us

losing a loved one doesn’t mean you lose the love you felt for them or the memories you cherish

your spirit can live on long after your body goes

you can grieve and still live a full and happy life, not just for yourself but also for those no longer here
