Let me start by saying that I love the idea of The Cat King's name being Thomas because of the sheer anticlimactic-ness of it all, but also I love the idea that not only is that his real name but when the agency as a whole starts asking him if he has a name (because "The Cat King" is a bit of a mouthful and also other than Niko everyone thinks it's just annoying to give him that ego boost every time they have to talk to the bitch) he just starts telling them random names of deities of like lust and stuff but also random cats from fiction. Like, he jokingly calls himself Tybalt one day and it gets Edwin to snort because of the literary reference, so he just keeps doing it for the chance that he can get him to do it again. And at some point he slips Thomas in the roster because it's one of the more obvious ones and avoiding it would probably seem suspicious, but he realizes that he maybe shouldn't have because hearing Edwin call him his name gives him butterflies and shit and now he's even more head over heels.

Black Lightning #1 by Brandon Thomas and Fico Ossio. Variant covers by (1) Taurin Clarke, (2) Sanford Greene and (3) Juliet Nneka. Main cover (4) by Ossio. Out in November.
"Black Lightning is back, and this time, it’s a family affair! Jefferson Pierce leads the Justice League’s new metahuman outreach initiative, helping those with powers before they can cause harm to themselves or others—but everything changes when its his own daughter, Anissa Pierce, who comes to him for help. With Thunder’s dangerous new powers and the new Masters of Disaster jeopardizing the coexistence between humans and Metas, Black Lightning is on the front lines of a culture war brewing in the suburbs of Metropolis!"

The whiplash I just got seeing young Tim Kang in Season 1 of The Mentalist immediately after I finished the series finale of Magnum P.I. is crazy. I love Cho and I love Katsumoto. They're the same people in different fonts. They're my favourite. Tim Kang is an excellent actor. * sighs * I just think his characters are neat. I want to be adopted by them.
