Emiko Queen (Younger Sister of Oliver): Submitted by Anonymous. Emiko follows Oliver back to Seattle to become his protege. Emiko works with her older half brother to rescue kidnapped kids. Despite appearing to help her assassin mother try to kill Oliver she revealed she had been trying to help him the whole time. When she returns to Seattle she saves Oliver.

Yuri Honjo (Younger Sister of Rika): Submitted by Anonymous. Yuri greatly admires her older brother often recalling information he gave her to save the High Rise Realm. She considers her brother to be very 'cool'. She worried about her his brainwashing by Mamoru Aikawa and his later fate at the hands of Juo.

High Rise Invasion *SPOILERS*

I’m a little sad I put off watching this for so long just because I’d heard some stuff about the fan service in the show. Tbh it is a bit annoying (aside from when Nise can recognize Yuri coming to save her because of her panties that’s pretty funny) and I have thoughts.

- First and foremost, I love Rika, he is somehow a badass yet also a damsel that everyone wants

- I went into this knowing that people shipped Yuri and Nise but DAMN does Nise have it bad for Yuri (I 100% guarantee that is Nise was awake when Yuri gave her a lil kiss on the cheek her poor heart would burst)

- I may be a lesbian but Sniper Mask is MMMMMMMMMMM

-Yuri is a badass main character. I didn’t like her at first but damn seeing her growth was epic

- I’m 100% checking out the manga after this

- The animation quality is *chef’s kiss*

- This better get a mf season 2

Maybe a hot take but I’m kinda disappointed by the lack of originality in High-Rise Invasion fanfictions.

Look, I’m a simp too but there could be so much more than we have right now. It’s almost always around Sniper Mask and preferably erotica where he doesn’t look like himself at all (when did he became so abusif?? Did we watch the same manga/anime? C’mon Sniper really shines because he is just an awkward boomer stuck in the body of twenty yo and everyone is fool by his façade. And I have seen nobody exploiting this aspect, while there could be so much fun and interesting things to do with this.) 

There is some take on Yurise (thx god, it’s just the main romance but never mind I guess) but it still really minor compared to the astonish amont of smut on Sniper Mask. Not romance, just pure smut. And that’s kinda sad, because somehow, it kinda give me the impression people just go “that dude is hot” and didn’t really like him as an actual character (and I’m not at all against smut in general, that’s just something I notice. The fandom is 90% fuck stories. Once again, I would have keep my mouth shut because that’s something casual along fandoms to have this if the number wasn’t just so high).

Where are the silly Casual AU? Fluffy OS? The prequel/childhood on X character? The “heroes from an other story” (Yoshida, Aohara, or Tanabe for example)? Character Study on a random Mask (idk China Mask, Great Angel or Ein for the most well know, or even an OC while we are at it)? 

Or even on Kuon? 

I know people tends to hates her a lot (for less than good reasons imo, but that’s an other story) yet if you have read the manga, you must know she is so much more than you think at first glance. She kinda has a ‘Kaede syndrome’ if you know Assassination Classroom. She’s not that easy to write honestly and that’s pretty challenging! 

Or even more stimulating: a whole rewrite of High-Rise Invasion. I’m really surprise no one is into it because there is so much you can do with the premise of the show and no one is playing with it (and it’’s not like Arrive don’t do it too sooo). But that’s maybe because I am/was in the Fire Emblem: Fates fandom who were used to do such a thing lmao.

And let’s not start on discontinuity and divergences we can do:

What if Kuon met someone else before Sniper Mask? Like Rika, Juo or Yoshida? Would she had been the same? Would she survives? Would she snaps and just murders everyone who goes in her way? Would she has been attract to Sniper Mask at all? Would she falls in love with someone else (or no one, it’s not an obligation lol)?

What if Uzuki becomes disgust of his mother because of what she did? Would he prefers to run away, denies what happen, asks Sniper Mask to end her suffering? What if Yayoi didn’t get moved nor recognized her son, would she thinks he gets in her way? Turns him into a mask?

What if Haruka discovers her father wants to betray Rika? Would she complies because “he is her father and he should know better than she”? Would she betrays him? Would she regrets her decision later on?

What if Yoshida and Kuon swapped their God Power? Would Yoshida act braver and more confident? Would he became even more terrified with such an overpowering power and refuse to use it at all, if just for bluff? Or would he snaps and decides to gets revenge on people using their power for “evil”? Or starts shooting people randomly as his paranoïa overwhelm him? Would Kuon actually be able to control Sniper Mask? Would she starts an army and applies what her father taught her? Where their alliances would lied?

What if Rika don’t get brainwash but sincerely agrees with Aikawa? How would Yuri reacts? And Sniper Mask? Would they have to kill him? Or would he be actually the one who kill them? What if thanks to that Aikawa becomes a perfect God and gets his plans to practice? You can go with the point of view of a bystander or Aikawa himself, either way it can be neat.

What if someone manages to use the helicopter? Would they really escape? Would guilt would be too heavy to have left people behind? Would they start questioning their sanity? Tries to go back in the High-Rise Invasion world? Becomes jaded on humanity if they were not already? Ended regretting passing their chance to become powerful because their life sucks now?

What if people don’t come randomly in this universe but because they wished/did something particular? Like “if I only I were God, I [insert something you would change]” or some kind of ritual? It would change the whole dynamic of the situation because people were somehow willing to risk their life for this.

What if Yuri is the one who become a mask and the Makoto bros has do cooperate to save her, and eventually meet all the others in their journey (with all the drama of their backstory who have to be resolved along the way)? Or if it was Rika (if you don’t like Yuri being the one in distress)? Knowing Yuka and Yuri don’t know each others but have access to their memories, how would this affect their dynamics?

What if Juo and Aikawa met and fight for Rika? All of that while his boyfriend Kohei tries to save him in the background.

* What really happens when a perfect God is created? To this day, there is no answer yet.

Or I don’t know, OS prompt with couple/group (not necessarily shipping) if a whole story isn’t your cup of tea.

I could go on and on, but you get the idea(s).

What is Tenkuu Shinpan sexuality?

Tenkuu Shinpan is the name of the series and, as such, doesn’t have a sexuality.

If we’re talking about the characters, however, while no specific word has been used in canon as far as I’m aware, here is what we know:

Nise is attracted to women and has shown distaste and disinterest towards men (everywhere in the manga)

Yuri has shown attraction to men and women (idem)

Rika is attracted to women (chapter 213 and the bonus pages from volume 19)

Sniper hasn’t shown attraction towards anyone so far and has shown distaste and disinterest towards panty-shots and the like (chapters 64 and 100 come to mind)

Kuon has shown attraction to Sniper - and in the anime seemingly towards women as well (everywhere)

Dealer Mask/Floor 7 has shown attraction towards men and women (chapters 55 and 230 + vol 16 bonus pages)

Miko Mask/Floor 4 was flustered when a woman flirted with her (ch230)

Yayoi Kusakabe has a son, which suggests she is attracted to men, just like it was suggested in one panel (ch186) that she might be attracted to women 

White Feather is attracted to men (every time she interacts with Sniper + ch222)

Okihara is attracted to women

Juo has shown attraction to Yuri and flirted with Rika (ch215 and onwards)

Senya Matsuda from Arrive is attracted to women

Kyoko Oribe from Arrive has said she doesn’t care what gender her beloved is (arrive ch27)

Re-reading the Tenkuu Shinpan manga again and reading more of the comments.

So from what I gathered is that people are very unhappy with the ending(I will agree with)

Yuri: People didn't like her, because they thought she was too OP for their liking.

Rika: Basically he is a damzel in distress and they didn't like that.

Kuon: Because she is annoying to them.

Aikawa: To summarize, he is a bitch.

Juo: People had agreed that he was simp material but they still hated him.

Yoshida: He was forgetful.

And everyone else was either forgotten about or hated for whatever reason.

The only two characters that people loved are

Mayuko and Sniper but who didn't see that coming.

And a lot of people complained about how the story sucked but then there are others who loved it.

Am I going to say it is the best manga/anime?

No I won't, its not a bad manga and I do love it and the characters but it doesn't deserve all the hate it gets.

Point is people are picky has hell and they will never be satisfied. So enjoy what you want and don't let others tell you that you can't.

Quick question about Tenkuu Shinpan ships since i spoiled myself anyway: Why is Rika/Juo one? According to wikis he murders women, put the mask on Sniper, eventually wants to battle Rika to the death and takes his family & friends hostage. Is it just one of those weird enemy ships or is there another twist?

Įkalbėta draugo nusprendėme pamatyti naująjį Tarantino šedevrą, ir tiesą sakant, iki dabar džiaugiuosi sutikusi su jo pasiūlymu. (Nemetu jokio šešėlio Stiveno Kingo sukurtam Penivaisui, jis nusipelno atskiros recenzijos). 

Pristatinėti du „Oskarus“ už „Bulvarinio skaitalo“ ir „Ištrūkusio Džango“ scenarijus pelniusio Kventino Tarantino tikrai nereikia. Jį žino visi – pradedant rimtais kinomanais ir užbaigiant žmonėmis, kurie filmus žiūri itin retai. Visgi jo darbai ir firminis stilius kalba patys už save.  Šis režisierius visuomet sugeba pritraukti dėmesį savo darbais, net jei jų veiksmas vystosi vienoje patalpoje. Vien dialogais ir charizmatiškais veikėjais perpildyti jo filmai priverčia mėgautis kiekviena rodymo minute. Ir, patikėkite, vienas ilgiausių jo darbų „Grėsmingasis aštuonetas“ ant to ir laikėsi, todėl ir peržiūra visiškai neprailgo. Šiuo režisieriumi susižavėjau būdama 18 metų, kadangi bandymai paauglystėje peržiūrėti Bulvarinį skaitalą baigdavosi telefono tikrinimu ir žiovuliu. Emociškai pribendrusi, drąsiai galiu teigti, kad nepaisant mano trumpo dėmesio išlaikymo, žiūrėdama Tarantino filmus, pasijausdavau labai laiminga.Tokią būseną, deja, labai sunku aprašyti, tačiau būtent tą šilumos antplūdį pajaučiau žiūrėdama ir „Vieną kartą Holivude“.

Apie ką aš čia?

1969-ieji. Auksinis Holivudo amžius iš lėto pasitinka savo saulėlydį. Jį pasitinka ir populiarus kadaise televizinių vesternų aktorius Rikas Doltonas (vaidina Leonardo DiCaprio), kuriam tenka prisitaikyti prie naujų tendencijų kine. Išgyventi karjeros nuopuolį Rikui padeda jo ištikimas bičiulis bei dubleris Klifas Būtas (Bredas Pitas), kuris į pasaulį žiūri visai kitomis akimis. Ir viskas būtų kaip ir gerai, jeigu ne jo netikėta pažintis su paslaptingo Čarlzo Mensono gauja. Filmo istorija siejasi su Mensono nusikaltėlių gauja, kuri terorizavo JAV 20 amžiuje. Tačiau vienintelė tikrai kruvina scena šiame filme – pabaiga, matoma, kad režisierius lieka ištikimas savo šaknims ir istoriją užbaigia savaip. Tačiau derėtų nepamiršti, jog kino juosta remiasi daug kuo paimtu iš tikro gyvenimo, ši scena – ne išskirtinė. Mansonų šeima iš tiesų bandė įsiveržusi į aktorės namus ir viskas baigėsi kraupia žmogžudyste. Visą tai ir dar daugiau Kventinas pateikia per savo genialią prizmę. „Vieną kartą Holivude“ – nepriekaištingai atrodanti Quentino Tarantino duoklė einančiam į užmarštį auksiniam Holivudo amžiui, dėl kurio jis ne tik dar kartą įrodo, koks genialus pasakotojas yra, bet ir kaip myli kiną bei viską, kas su juo susiję. Be išgalvotos, bet su tikrais įvykiais persipynusios istorijos, filmas siūlo dar ir neužmirštamą pagrindinių aktorių vaidybą, idealiai atrodančią bei puikiai rodomą epochą atkuriančius vaizdus, firminius režisieriui Kventinui Tarantino būdingus dialogus ir ilgą bei lėtą kelionę į 1969-ųjų populiariosios kultūros lopšį – JAV. Turinio nenorėjau per daug atskleisti, nes pati žiūrėjau šį filmą visiškai nežinodama, apie ką jis, ir, mano nuomone, visada taip reikėtų daryti - neturėti išankstinių nuomonių, leisti pasinerti į nežinomybę ir stebėti, ką ji suteikia.
