I think Orla is afraid of driving. They don't like cars and would prefer to walk and the fact she now lives on an island that they can do that on and can put off getting a license is very nice to them.

To put it bluntly, JKR has shown multiple times that she is racist and transphobic, and seems to have little to no remorse for her actions. She has been labeled as a TERF by the community (one that I personally find fitting) and by multiple media-outlets.

She has posted tweets claiming that trans-women should not be allowed to use women's' restrooms, and queer-baited both the community and her fanbase multiple times.

The main cause of her racism was simply her depiction of POC characters in the Harry Potter franchise. For example, she named the only Asian character Cho Chang, and placed her in Ravenclaw, which feeds into harmful and hurtful Asian stereotypes. Realistic — Chloe used to add little hearts on her ‘i’s in elementary school because she thought it was cute. She wrote a few stupid love letters to Jake when she was in middle school using those heart ‘i’s too

Unrealistic but funny — she had this weird kind of crush on Christine during the musical that she wasn’t aware of but was one of those things where she thought it was a “I’m feeling weird in my stomach because I absolutely despite her” kind of deals

Heart-wrenching kinda — so my version of Chloe has a Mexican mom and her mom had experienced a lot of colorism when she was younger so she kind of ends up projecting that onto Chloe and how chloe perceives herself

fuck canon — i don’t care what that locker had it in, Chloe is NOT a drake fan (I mean it does actually fit for her character but I refuse to believe it)

JUPE MY GUY!! INSANITY IS HOW I FEEL!! HE MAKES ME INSANE. Will probs never get over him- his a tragedy. He’s stuck in the past. He says he’s fine. He’s not even present. He could’ve gotten his happy ending- but he pushed further. He never would’ve gotten it would he? There would always be something missing. He was damned from the beginning- he could’ve made different decisions. He was consumed by the embodiment of his trauma- figurativly and literally.

I like Ben but also more normally(?). He’s an Intresting character to analyze!

minsung always seemed to be a little gentle with jupiter since they spoke on his dysphoria. as much as it meant to him, made his toes curl with each kiss and trail of his fingers down his body - jupiter knew himself. he wasn't made of fragile china, he didn't need to be babied.

" you don't have to be easy with me. " he huffed slightly. his hands reached up to push away the mess of hair falling in front of minsung's eyes as he perched himself atop his frame. a small smile pulled from his lips, unable to deny just how adorable his boyfriend was looking at him with those doe-eyes. " i'm really okay. i trust you, i think you've earned that much. " really, minsung had earned more than enough with jupiter. his trust, his friendship, his love. no one could have him like this: bare and honest.

jupiter pushed himself on his elbows now, chin tipping just enough for his lips to be able to reach minsung's. he wasn't too greedy, just enough to nudge his partner to continue. the kiss was gentle enough to keep the butterflies in jupiter's stomach fluttering and his chest tight from anticipation, but it was his teeth that had the coil turning hot. he caught onto minsung's lower lip and pulled, biting onto the soft flesh. his eyes turned, an eager and playful sparkle in them now.

their kissing continued, heavier and messier the longer they stayed glued to each other. jupiter's back hit the mattress again at some point, he didn't know when. he just knew he was breathless and his lips had felt sore when minsung had made it down from his face to his hips. he had made sure to nuzzle into the jut of his hips and the curves of his thighs where certain scars laid on his skin. similar stories they both shared and wished the other hadn't. any other time jupiter would shove a person off if they got too comfortable with him . . . but minsung was different. he had always been different, since the moment they met.

a shuddered breath exhaled from jupiter and his hands found themselves in minsung's hair again. he pushed his hair away from his face once more, trying to gain any sort of gaze towards his partner. each kiss lower and lower, pushing his legs apart to nestle between them, it was like a drop of water in boiling oil. it burned, it had his breathing turn heavier and uneven while minsung took his time back up between his legs.

just a little more . . .

" shit-! "

he hissed and immediately attempted to bring his legs up. only, to peek at seeing minsung still comfortable between them, holding his hips down firmly. damn it, he hated how weak his legs were right now. brows furrowed while jupiter tightened his grip just barely in the fluffy locks of hair he held.

" did you just BITE me? "

sure, he had said that he didn't need to be babied or treated like he'd break at any moment - but he didn't think he'd be treated like some chew toy. a small whimper managed to push past his bruised lips when he felt minsung nuzzle to the small injury he made. jupiter was a little easy to bruise and bang up - it came with him being clumsy: always a package deal. he knew it'd leave a mark in the morning, but he couldn't find it in him to scold. not when minsung was so gently kissing him again, even going so far to lick up where there were deeper marks from canines. jupiter's head was falling back onto the pillows again and he pulled at the fistful of hair he had.

"... brat. " he moaned out. he'll scold him later.

For Ffion: Strength, and The Empress.

Strength: Ffion's most determined to keep their partners safe. Like short run in game goal was recover all their missing memories and find out how and why they fell into the mortal plane and also learned abyssal. Still need to accomplish that. But on a longer term scale, Ffion wants to be powerful enough to keep Bran and Cadfael happy and safe from the Courts and their stupid problems. Ffion is one of Oberon's kids, they grew up in the Summber Court and know that without Power its hard to do things.

The Empress: self care ritual, definitely have one. Ffion probably has a list of things they try and do weekly to keep themselves centered and doin swell. So, like bake (try a new recipe), garden, go for a run on a weekly basis with things like, sleep 8 hours, eat something nice, journal, take care of teeth/hair/ect on a more daily thing?

I also watched The Good Place and cried at the ending! I was really surprised at how touching that show ended up being and how well it developed its premise as the show went on.

Wait wait isn’t like feeding your entire family and audience (and horses that were loved by their owners who planned on taking them back) inherently like? Shitty? I would say evil? Like I’d say that’s more than morally ambiguous ???

the horses part for sure, 100% shitty and morally unambiguous.; even ignoring the grotesque nature of feeding horses to another unknown life form, Jupe knew exactly what those horses meant to OJ, both sentimentally and financially. on this front, Jupe is truly at fault.

however, i think one of things that makes Jupe’s character so complex is his intent. imo his intent was to tame an alien and get rich and famous (again) doing so. he never intended to get himself, his family, or any other people eaten by jean jacket. he knew it was eating horses sure, but i cannot in good conscience believe he intended for anyone (let alone himself his wife and his CHILDREN) to be consumed and slowly digested by some kind of cosmic megafauna.

yes, his behavior was shitty and self serving, but evil? without intent, i think that’s a stretch.
