Here is a description of the project: Kinderstück is a multidisciplinary children's book which combines visual art, text, and music. At the heart of Kinderstück is a children's story about loneliness and coping with loss. Presented as a six-part poem, the narrative follows a girl who hates noise but loves her mother's voice. When the girl loses her mother's song, she must find a new way forward.

The music of Kinderstück is written for ondes Martenot and electronics (as performed by ondist Suzanne Farrin). The release includes a recording of the work, as well as a download of the eBook. The eBook contains seven full illustrations (the cover, plus six more; illustrated by Yoko Furusho) as well as the full musical score (which is partially illustrated). Moreover, the eBook is enhanced so that the music will play while reading the book or while looking at the score. Advancing the page in the eBook will automatically trigger the corresponding music to play, allowing the reader to experience every aspect of Kinderstück at once. Likewise, the music will automatically trigger page turns as it plays, allowing the listener to follow along with the recording.

My attempt to build a just intonation that is actually tranposable

My attempt to build a just-intonated tuning for the usual 12-tone system. It is novemdecimal, and its every semitone is superparticular.

C = 1/1

D♭ = 17/16

D = 9/8

E♭ = 19/16

E = 5/4

F = 4/3

F♯ = 17/12

G = 3/2

A♭ = 19/12

A = 5/3

B♭ = 16/9

B = 17/9

I love love love how Larian made Astarion:

Avoiding having sex with Tav altogether if you kinda have a wholesome relationship after he confesses that he really likes Tav for real and not just to secure himself a protector/ally. It’s so cute that he just takes some time to figure out what sex means to him in terms of genuine connection with someone and not just a manipulation tactic which has been a behaviour forced on him by Cazador 😭

He is sooo insecure about it, that I already found two instances of him mentioning it: when twin drows in Baldur’s Gate offer their services either to Tav or both to Tav and Astarion. He refuses and asks if the reason Tav would want this is the lack of sex between them. And the second time when Halsin offers to have a poly relationship and you ask Astarion about it (which he is in general chill about) but once again asks Tav if the reason is not Astarion not having sex with them.

Poor Astarion is still having fear that the only thing that can make someone be interested in him is sex. It makes me feel stuff 😰

Different Italian anon, but the thing with Tuscan C is that it's pronounced like a very strong H sound, which is extra weird cuz the letter H makes no sound in Italian, normally. It sounds the way Spanish pronounce the J. We say it's "aspirato". So then people from there will say things like Hoha Hola (coca cola), and it's funny. It's also extremely contagious, I got family in Florence, you spend 3 days with them you start doing it too before you even realize.

Why are there two Tails actors? Are they supposed to be class and modern? And if so, where’s classic Sonic? Is he another unknowing participant in this studio production? And if there not classic and modern, then what?! Stunt doubles!? The quite literal two tails of Miles and they just stand really close together during filming!?

GOD DAM IT, STOP ASKING QUESTIONS AND START ANSWERING THEM!!!

First, I'd like to remind you that it's hard to tell tone over text. If you're trying to be lighthearted, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but please remember that we are just two people who are trying to keep the mystery going.

HOWEVER, I've seen this interpretation floating around a lot, so I figure I'll adress it here - the "two Tails'" are very much their own people! Besides the logistical NIGHTMARE that would be trying to convince someone that two people were like .. one person just to give the illusion of twin tails, it's important to remember that if Silver can be without his quills normally, so to can Tails be without his signature twin tails. In short, Tails is only ever played by one person at a time.

.. Unless it's generations. Which, as signified at the bottom of the photo (where it says "Gens <3"), the photo was indeed taken around the filming of! So... yes! These are, for all intents and purposes, Modern and Classic Tails!

I know most of our focus goes (rightfully) to the trial songs, but I genuinely believe Baptism of Fire is equally a masterpiece of meaningful writing and intense vocal acting

There's just something so fucking great about the concept of characters like Zeke Banks and Peter Strahm having this complicated relationship to serial killers while having such a strong urge for justice and finding the truth???

Specifically, I love to think about how in the middle of their games of cat and mouse, or at those moments they inevitably share as they sharpen their knowledge on each other and get close enough to bump, when their intentions get a lot more nuanced as they insist on combing through them later again and again... that connection and obsession shoves everything else to second place. Seeing one another tunnels their vision, and their actions will follow rules made on the spot.

But then the world keeps on turning around them when they leave the crime scene with blood on their shirts and a gun that may or may not have been pointed but never used, piles of mangled bodies from 'collaborative traps' and distorted audios calling the remains of another horror story a chance for 'redemption' never stop being found; survivors slam doors in their faces when they come for statements and sob their hearts out at their closed off support meetings— suddenly, it's their place to show remorse, perform the respect and compassion that's lacking in their lovers... and how it impacts them to carry that burden they, against their own better judgement and all good reasoning, carry because they only give this much of a tangible fuck when they're put face to face with that damage.

It's just breathtaking, to wonder how ignorance is bliss and they cover themselves in it for the sake of something they want so badly. The guilt that comes when the blanket slips right off, yanked back by their lovers. Maybe even by themselves, punishment for their own broken vows. Weakness.
