for all my complaints of dai, i will still give it that the opening is it's strongest point, and that's main problem in my eyes is that it does not let you have much room to make different personalities through out the game you play. while i think it would have been nice imo to have been able to see the conclave before it was destroyed, the fact the game is both so listless and limiting past the destruction of haven is the part it really falls flat. for me.

hope you don't mind the rant but argh i finally realised why i feel so disconnected to survivor in comparison to how close jfo is to me

but i really dislike major decisions made and i'm gonna babble on a little (i've had like eight panadol and two sleeping meds as of the last hour n a half so if this doesn't make sense that's why)

one that's been swirling around my head ever since i played us that it really felt like they brought cordova back JUST to kill him off. this also ties into my next point that i find bode's betrayal hard to believe as well. every role he had in the story could easily be replaced by someone such as cere, and i felt like the only reason he was there was to have someone for bode to kill to show how really evil he was but respawn didn't want to kill any of the main cast off. he's such a useless character in the plot that killing him off didnt effect anything LMAO

my next major dislike is, understandably, about bode :,) yes i know this can come off as making excuses for a character i was attached to since the trailers dropped but the more i think about it the more i really cannot understand both the timeline and the motive that was behind bode's betrayal. i kind of get the idea he was lax about betraying them UNTIL cal mentioned using tanalorr for the hidden path but according to the echoes you get after the game bodenis plotting and scheming the whole time... plus, you think that his whole motive relies on creating a safe place for kata on tanalorr where no one can find them but also like. you have two (technically three) jedi, a nightsister, and a whole clan of anchorites that kick the empire's ass every day. "will you be able to protect her when the empire comes?" fuckass have you SEEN cal use a lightsaber?? kata is safer with cal then she is bode

dagan was hella underwhelming too which disappointed me tbh i was excited for this high republic jedi to show us all this cool stuff only for him to die in like three seconds 😔

ANYWAY i hope this ain't too long but i'd love to hear your thoughts/criticisms on js bc i love the game and all the little bits are amazing but some of the decisions made have me a bit hrghh

Okay, friend, you asked for it ;)

The decision to bring back Cordova was an unexpected one, but the sight of him makes me cry happy tears every damn time, so it doesn't bother me at all. I take your point re: Cere being able to do everything he does, but part of Bode’s betrayal also hinges on him betraying Cere to Vader, who clearly wants vengeance after Nur (which is SO IN CHARACTER for Vader I can only lol. Petty bitch.), so Bode killing her wouldn't have had quite the same impact.

Because I was so convinced he was dead that him *actually* being dead didn’t strike me as ‘brought back only to die’. I would argue that killing him off did put them at risk of not being able to reach Tanalorr and defintely drove Cal to Nova Garon, but yes… Cordova's character probably lacks development and definitive purpose compared to the others… Although even as I say that, I find myself thinking of the logs he left behind in the various ruins on Jedha and the words of advice and I just can’t get mad. Plus there's that teeny hint that he's been unwell when Merrin asks how he's feeling. I see your points, yes, but I'm not too fussed by any of it.

Moving onto Bode...

So, here’s my interpretation of Bode, based on the post-game echoes and the little nuances that take on a totally new light on a replay. Bode is playing Cal from the very beginning. They are never friends from Bode’s perspective, and he is a master manipulator. He’s a textbook abuser – he lovebombs Cal with compliments and praise to cement their relationship, and does the same with everyone in his family. Plus, he used his knowledge of Cere’s location to further his cause with the Empire.

There’s also a power dynamic at play here because Bode was a Jedi Knight during the war while Cal was still a Padawan. Bode is older and more experienced with the world than Cal. He knows Cal longs for friendship, and he wields that against him more effectively than any weapon. Every action, every word, every choice Bode makes is solely to dig in deeper with Cal so he can and Kata can escape the Empire. Had Cal agreed that Tanalorr would just be for them, *maybe* Bode wouldn’t have betrayed him the way he did, but Bode is well on his way to the dark side because of his attachment to Kata. And Cal very nearly follows him because of his attachments to his family.

To me, this is what the Jedi Order meant by 'no attachments'. Jedi are allowed to love, but when that love becomes all consuming, when it becomes an obsession, that’s when the attachment becomes dangerous. Bode’s story is very similar to Anakin’s, he’s just not as powerful. Hasn’t got those Skywalker genes 😉  

Bode’s motive to me is clear – he *thinks* everything is about Kata, but actually it’s all about him. It’s about his grief and rage and fear because of his wife's death the terrible choices he made. Denvik promises that if Bode gives him what he wants (Cal and Cere), he will reveal which Inquistor murdered his wife. Bode is already in it for revenge, not his daughter's wellbeing. His choices are very pre-meditated. He is a parent, yes, and I can understand that overriding love of a child, but he is also a grieving husband who is so broken by his loss that his love for Kata has become too possessive. He is terrified of losing his daughter, and it eclipses his love for her. Kata is aware of this, and her love is also turning to fear. Bode is neglectful (he's always leaving Kata behind) and bordering on abusive at the end. He trusts no one but himself, and he even asks Cal at the very end if he can protect Kata. Cal says nothing because he knows he can’t – he’s tried protecting so many people, and he’s lost nearly all of them. He won’t make a promise he can’t keep, and that’s what completely breaks Bode. Bode doesn’t believe anyone *but him* can protect Kata because he has become completely consumed with fear and anger. Cal gave him a chance to make a better choice when he disarmed him. In fact, Bode had *so many chances* to make a better choice, and he didn’t. So, when Bode responded by choosing to try and kill Cal, Merrin *and* very nearly his own daughter, Cal had no choice but to put him down – hard. That second shot took my breath away both times I played the game because Cal knows he cannot save Bode and protect the people who matter, and by showing Bode mercy, more people will die. It's also about control - Bode tries to control everyone. Cal knows he can't, so he takes the only option left - killing Bode. Honestly, the more I think about that finale, the more intense it becomes. It's an astonishing moment.

I do wonder if the reason people struggle with Bode is because he is so nice, and he fits in so well, but it’s all fake and it’s all an act. Whether you saw it coming or not, that hurts. Cal – and the player – want so badly for Bode to be better than he is, and that’s the tragedy. Bode’s not capable of that. He has suffered losses just like Cal, but he couldn’t overcome them. It’s a lot to deal with emotionally!

And as for Dagan, I quite like him! Mostly because that final battle with him incorporates my favourite Star Wars thing – WEIRD FORCE SHIT. He’s also a mirror held up to Cal – this is what you could become if your obsession takes over you. I also think his relationship with Santari Khri is meant to show Cal the potential pitfalls of his relationship with Merrin if his attachment overcomes him… but we’ll have to see what happens next…

when it comes to things like this argyle doesnt really notice when they fall, it's just a small and slow buildup of feeling until one day they're sitting next to Jonathan and they realize. it doesn't feel like it hits them more than it feels like a flip switched. like something they've been feeling and aware of feeling for quite a while and they just put a word to it so it isn't very panic inducing

jonathan it hits all at once. it is fucking insane how intense it is. his feeling has obviously building up for a while too but she hasn't had the subconscious awareness that argyle had. they've been aware of their nwlnw identity for quite a while (unlabeled) but they also have never liked someone where if theyre getting into a relationship, to be honest about it, she has to come out

like he's forced to be vulnerable about a potentially dangerous identity to be honest, and he's really not into that

like with nancy they at least could tell people they were together and let them assume that this was a cishet relationship even though they weren't really a man

but to tell family and friends and anyone about this, she had to come out

when having this panic was so worried about this that in that night at like 4 am she suddenly had the realization that "oh my god argyle might not like me back"

but immediately squashed that with "even if they don't it really doesnt matter because theyre understanding and chill enough i wont lose this friendship"

meanwhile argyle is literally giving him heart eyes waiting for them to confess

jonathan confesses because argyle realized quickly and unobtrusively and realized it was probably reciprocated, but didnt want to confess before jonathan had time and energy to do self reflection on her own

so their relationship continued with not much change. very gabriel and Beelzebub vibes from good omens, quite, gentle, and romantic but never with big displays. just contentment with hanging out with your buddy that you like kissing for as long as they want (i should probably give hcs instead of just outlining how they get together)

argyle is very close to el and will, and gets to hear about their silly little love stories, they find it adorable

NewYork just like other tmnt iterations, but since this au is a crossover with ben 10 there are places like undertown that the turtles go to (think hidden city but for aliens) and they have other places like mr smoothy.

YES!! first off, raph and spike

she has spike as her pet and yes he does mutate and is a part of the foot later on lol. spike is a very old tortoise that splinter and shen had and he was one of the animals that didnt get mutated with the others. raph is super attached to spike theyre best-friends for ever, splinter also enjoys spike's company.

next is mikey and klunk

they all had klunk since she was a kitten (found her in the sewers), and they've had her for 11 years. splinter wasn't into the idea of keeping a cat in the sewers especially since he has allergies and is lowkey scared of cats (leo too, he's scared of most animals) but he can't say no to mikey so they kept her. klunk mutates into an ice-cream kitty (mango) because donnie didn't bother putting mutagen away safely. but its all good she's a happy ice-cream kitty

and finally, donnie

I love ship from ben 10 and i thought it would be kewl to give donnie ship as a pet because you know? tech but in my au mikey names it chip instead because it kept eating computer chips (i changed the biology of galvanic mechamorphs and made it so they can eat chips, wires, metals and such) donnie meets chip in a similar way to how julie and ben did, but I'm currently working on a comic for that so no spoiler!! :3

Leo doesn't have pets nor does he want any. he can barely handle the fact that there are many in the lair. he hates animals because they freak him out and he thinks they're gross. but if he sees a dog, and he's having a good day, he might pet it

geto suguru, gojo satoru, and fatalism

im here once again with a long rant that i didnt really bother to reread. if you squint you can see it as a jujutsu kaisen 0 analysis. theres a part where i talk about geto in what can be seen as someone presenting passive suicidal thoughts, but its neither heavy nor explicitly about that so. just warning.

lately ive been thinking a lot about geto being left alone to do whatever he wanted for 10 years because gojo, the only person strong enough to defeat him, simply never tracked him down. almost as a consequence, i eventually put this together with the fact that, even though yuta was the one who did the "difficult" part of defeating geto, gojo was the one to deliver the final blow

one of the first things geto said after seeing gojo in that alley was "to think you'd be the one here at my end", but lately, i cant help but think: wasnt that actually the most obvious end? was there ever any other option of closure for them? and ive been into the idea of stsg + tragedy (as a genre) since i wrote this post, so this somehow resulted in me looking at them with some kind of lazy fatalistic lens

i really like stories where the character tries to flee from an imminent tragedy, but always goes back to the same place, because that is his fate. and, to me, this is exactly what happened with gojo when he tried to avoid killing geto. he didnt go after him, he spent 10 years standing still, believing the distance would be enough to run away from that moral duty

and then geto came back

and then geto went after gojo students. and then geto was the one who made their meeting happen. and then geto was the one who broke that barrier gojo had put up to avoid thinking about that unhealed wound. suddenly gojo was back to shinjuku, ten years ago, with geto saying that killing him or letting him go was his choice and that there would be a meaning to it

and i keep asking myself what was going on in his mind at that moment when geto appeared at jujutsu high? did he acknowledge that irony? did he acknowledge how that seemed like a bad joke being played on him? how long did it take for him to accept what that meant? was it in the classroom, after their talk, looking at the sunset and thinking about how they were actually quite similar to yuta and rika? changing the place of their conversation to the middle of the street, the same place where rika died her premature death? did he think about how they were also stuck at each other, cursed by love, and how the one who placed the curse must be the one to remove it? how, as said by the novel, the curse of geto suguru was a burden only he would be able to carry?

and this whole thing also made me think about geto. we know for a fact he thought that their friendship was over, that he wasnt someone gojo held dear anymore. we also know he thought gojo deserved to hate him, to curse him, to not take that last meeting of theirs and waste it treating him kindly so, to geto, what justified the fact that gojo never found him? i genuinely dont have a theory. im not even sure if i have a hypothesis that is in any way backed up by canon. but, what i can say almost for sure is that he never got it right. and him thinking gojo and him were best friends is proof of that

then the question thats left is: was geto ever aware of the tragic irony of his death by gojos hands? was dying by gojos hands ever a tragedy from his perspective? the way he never put up a fight against that possibility says otherwise. looking at his ideals, living a meaningless life seems a far more tragic thing for him. but wasnt that what he was doing already? doing his best for a goal he knew made no sense? whenever i think about geto saying he didnt expect gojo to be the one there at his end, i cant help but wonder: was that said in a positive way? was that a surprisingly satisfactory means to go? being killed by the person who cursed him and also the person he loved the most; to geto, was there a more meaningful death than that?

A game of spin the bottle with this stranger you've just met surely can't go that bad can it?

a/n: why is this in times new roman???? idk i kinda lke it though also i love the idea of this so i whipped it up a while ago to fulfill that self indulgence lol -- nvm it didnt post as times new roman

Loud music thuds against your head, words barely made out over some heavy bass that rivals the beating of your heart as you follow your friend Yoimiya leading you through the large house. You had said yes only after being worn down over the course of several days and are about to remind your companion of the fact when you realise she’s slipped into the crowd just to leave you all alone. 

A sigh passes your lips and you head outside through one of the large back doors, glad that the weather was nice enough that refreshments are being kept away from the suffocating heat of all the people inside. You don’t really mind the atmosphere. There was a chance it could be fun to talk to all of these people but you’d like to be able to get a drink or snack without worrying about being knocked over. Luckily, you did think that you saw some familiar faces as you made your way out, making a mental note to go back and confirm who those people were. 

With a drink now in your hand you give yourself a minute to recollect yourself, glad that you found something non-alcoholic on the table. It’d be better to keep a clear head, especially since you had no idea if Yoimiya would be far too distracted to come back and get you without you texting her first. 

You pull out your phone, about to text her about the fact that she’s abandoned you when someone walks into your field of view. Well, more like blocks it. A shadow is cast over you and without looking up you simply move aside, assuming that they just wanted to grab something from behind you. When they don’t seem to be leaving you alone you decide instead to look up, shooting an apologetic smile just in case you’ve slighted them. 

“Sorry for getting in your way. I’m just trying to text someone,” you laugh nervously, not sure what else you could do. 

The stranger chuckles and you find yourself drawn into his heterochromic eyes, one slightly hidden by his bangs. His voice is smooth and he leans against the table of refreshments, not seeming to care at all if the drinks fall over. It’s casual and you find yourself significantly less nervous at the prospect of talking to him, seeing as he hasn’t done anything that makes you feel sketched out. That, and the fact that he was incredibly attractive definitely helped his case. 

“I wasn’t trying to grab anything,” he responds, more focused on you. 

“I just had a thought that I’m not too sure who you are, so you must be new. Who do you know here? Don’t worry – you’re not going to get kicked out or anything if you give a “wrong” answer.” 

He looks at you expectantly as you try to explain yourself, wishing Yoimiya was here to talk you out of the situation. 

“Well, you see I was just invited here by a friend. She was bugging me for days to come and I decided it’d be much easier for me to tag along rather than deal with her pouting about how I made her come here by herself.” 

“Oh? Who’s the friend?” He raises a brow, almost as though he doesn’t believe what you’re saying to him. 

“I don’t know if you know her. Her name is Yoimiya. She’s friends with Ayaka who’s brother is apparently friends with someone who’s throwing the party so I guess she decided that was close enough for us to come since it’s not exactly invite only.”

You notice you’re beginning to ramble, closing your mouth to avoid making a fool of yourself. He doesn’t seem bothered at the very least which is good. It doesn’t seem as though you’ve made the social blunder you’ve worried about just quite yet and you’re waiting to see him respond, watching him as though you could see his thoughts. 

“Oh? That sounds like it’d be Ayato’s little sister. Yeah, I know him. Doesn’t seem nice of your friend to leave you here all alone. How about you come with me and hang out with some of the others?” 

A part of you knows that saying yes to the charming stranger is an absolutely horrible idea, vaguely aware that this is how horror movies start. But, you know for a fact that hanging out with someone who seems as interesting as he does entices you so. 

You must seem incredibly hesitant because the man looks to have immediately picked up on something, putting his hands up. 

“I promise I won’t take you anywhere sketchy! Just upstairs. My friends and I wanted to play a game with some people and get away from the crowd,” he says suddenly, making you laugh. 

“It’s not that. I just don’t know who you are. Wouldn’t it be awkward to just interrupt your game?” you ask, wanting to give him an out just in case he didn’t actually mean it. 

“No, it’s fine! Don’t worry about it. Follow me, alright?” 

He offers his hand with a sweet smile, clearly hoping you’ll take it from him. Deciding that it’d probably help you more than hurt you, you allow him to take you away, putting your palm in his. 

It takes him no time to lead you to your destination, easily slipping through the massive corridors of the property. Once you get to what looks like a spare room he throws the door open with a grin, inviting you to sit down as he joins the floor with a group of other people. They all look at you curiously and thankfully without any malice. 

“Who’s this?” a blond woman asks, looking to your companion. “Is this another friend of yours Kaeya?” 

The man, now presumably Kaeya, looks over at his friend, slowly realising he never asked for your name. He looks at you sheepishly, gesturing to the group. 

“Well, they looked lonely by themselves at the drinks table when I saw them so I decided to bring them here. I’m sure none of you mind, right?” 

The woman sighs slightly, leaning over a little to offer a handshake. 

“I’m Jean. Sorry for getting wrapped up in Kaeya’s antics. Don’t worry though – he means no harm.” 

A man sitting next to her scoffs, rolling his eyes. You’re taken aback by just how vibrant his red locks are, curling in just the perfect way to frame his handsome features. A quick look around makes you feel almost as though you’re sitting in a room of models, feeling severely outclassed in your more casual clothes. 

“You might think that but I know better. Kaeya’s an absolute menace.” Despite the harsh words you can hear an underlying tone of warmth, the corner of his lips trying not to quirk up in a slight smile. 

“Don’t be so rude Diluc! I’m just making new friends. Ajax, you don’t think that about me do you?” Kaeya implores, looking to his other side at another ginger. This one looks a lot kinder than the former, a wide grin on his face. 

“I think it’s a great idea! Besides, if they were standing alone then I’m sure that it’s because they don’t know anyone. Let’s just quickly go around the circle and introduce ourselves first.” Something about the way he speaks makes you feel like he knows something you don’t, the smile on his face a little too excited at the prospect of meeting you. 

Everybody nods and they do as Ajax says. The feeling only deepens as they all look at you attentively, the only person unwilling to look at you at the moment being Kaeya. When the introductions are all done one of the women, Lisa, grabs a bottle from behind her, gesturing for you to move and sit next to her. 

“Why don’t we play an innocent little game? Spin the bottle? It’s much more fun than whatever you were all doing earlier.” 

Noises of agreement sound out after her suggestion and despite your initial reservations you nod in agreement as well. As soon as she gets everyone’s permission, Lias puts the bottle down in the center of the circle, immediately looking over to Kaeya. 

“Well now, since you’re the one who’s throwing this party why don’t we let you do the honors? First spin?” 

“What are the rules? Just a peck on the cheek or something else?’ he asks as he leans forward, placing his hand on the bottle. 

“Why don’t we mix it with 7 minutes? Just go to the room next door, have your way with each other, then come back!” she suggests. 

You decide that sounds a little too much for you, about to back out when you’re interrupted by Kaeya’s voice. 

“Oh? Fascinating. That sounds like it’d be fun. Sure, why not?” 

The bottle spins with a flick of his wrist and he sits back on his palms, looking almost bored as he watches where the head of the bottle will land. You watch it nervously, unsure of what you’ll do if it lands on you. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to, instead landing on the space between you and Lisa. You expect him to spin the bottle again when he reaches for it, eyes widening as you watch him adjust the bottle to point at you. 

Your eyes flick up to his face, not sure what expression you thought you’d meet. The smirk feels like it’s commonplace from the little you know of him, the way he sits back on his hands so casually making your heart skip a beat. You’re struck with the thought that he’s hot and he knows it, easily keeping your attention on him. 

“Well, I guess fate’s determined you’ll be coming with me,” he says cheekily, standing up in a manner you can only describe as elegant. 

“Wait that’s cheating isn’t it?” you say once you’ve gotten out of your stupor, looking around to see if anyone will back you up. Instead, they all seem to be going to their own conversations, just glancing over at you. 

“If you don’t want to go, that's okay,” Kaeya says from the door, crossing his arms as he leans against it.

“I won’t make you come with me if you don’t want to.”

“Seriously,” one of the other blonds, Tohma, says. “If you don’t want to play with us just say so and you can just watch if you want to stay.” 

There doesn’t seem to be any malice in the air and with a bit of internal deliberation you decide it won’t hurt. After all, you’re sure if you screamed everyone in this room would be able to hear you. Besides, there’s something about the way the man looks at you that makes you want to know what he wants, nodding dumbly as you follow him down the hall to the room next door. 

As soon as the two of you get into the room he closes the door after you. Nervously, you sit on the bed, waiting to see if he’ll approach you himself. It doesn’t take him long to close the gap between you two, stepping between your knees and resting his arms on your shoulders. You’re forced to look up at him, the intense look in his eye making you swallow harshly. 

“Are you okay with this?” he asks softly, 

“What do you mean? You’re the one who put me here,” you huff, leaning back a little from his imposing aura. 

“Well, I did but now that we’re here I can’t help but feel a little concerned for you. You didn’t exactly seem like you wanted to come here with me…” 

His words trail off as he looks to the side, clearly finding this conversation more than just a little awkward. You wonder where his previously suave persona’s gone and it’s only now that you begin to recognise just how warm his body is this close to yours. You look up at him, tilting your head curiously when you realise he’s refusing to look at you. 

“Well, it can be intimidating to be kept in a room by yourself with someone like you,” you respond, hoping that the words come out smoother than they feel. He’s definitely heard it before so you don’t have too many hopes that it’ll catch him off guard. 

“Really?” he replies quickly, finally meeting your gaze with a hint of shyness. 

“Honestly, I don’t know if I should say this but I do actually know who you are. I was hoping you’d come today since I heard you’d said you would. I just played dumb because I didn’t want to scare you off.” 

“How do you know me?” 

His confession makes it easier for you to talk to him, no longer nearly as nervous as you were before. Nothing in him makes you feel like you’re being deceived and his comforting weight on your body lulls you even further into his security, smiling to yourself as he tries to piece together his words. 

“We have a class together. I don’t think you know because I sit in the middle of the hall. I guess you can say I’ve developed a bit of a crush on you and all my friends keep teasing me about it.”

Suddenly, everything seems to click in place as you realise that must be why everyone was looking at you so expectantly. He must have told them you’d be coming and somehow they managed to convince him to go and talk to you. They were expecting for this all to happen, perhaps even rooting for it if he was as into you as he’s claiming to be. Not only that, but the way he’s started to avoid eye contact with you again seems to prove your point.

“You like me?” you ask anyway, wanting an answer for yourself. 

“A lot. Even though we don’t really know each other, just observing you in class has made me want to get to know you more,” he admits, bringing his hands back to cup your face.

“You are so brilliant, I can tell from the way you talk when we do group work, or the presentations we had to do earlier. But it’s a little difficult to focus on your words when all I want to do is kiss you.” 

Your eyes widen as his eyes fall onto your lips. He gently brushes his thumb over your bottom lip, looking back up at you. 

“This entire time all I’ve wanted to do is kiss you but I don’t want to make you uncomfortable. I want to know what kind of face you’ll make.” 

Kaeya pulls you off the bed with a soft grasp, gently leading you to stand against a wall. It’s clear what he wants from you, even if he didn’t just say it to you but you still can’t help but shake slightly under his intense gaze, eyes hooded as a hand goes down to rest on your waist. Your breath hitches as he leans down closer to you, using his free hand to tilt your chin up. 

“May I?” he asks against you, breath tickling your lips. 

“Yes,” you breathe, gasping when he presses his lips to yours. 

His kiss starts off gently as though he was just testing the waters. Despite that, there was an air of urgency you could feel within him holding back. The fingers at your waist press into your skin, the sensation not yet painful, as is the fingers on your chin. His lips caress yours with a practiced motion, but it doesn’t seem to be enough for him. 

He presses into you a little harder, making your mouth open in another gasp that allows his tongue to slip in. You hear the dull thud of his arm moving to rest against the wall, now moving his other hand to wrap around your waist and pull you taut against his body. You can feel all rational thought leaving your mind as he presses the contours of his body against yours, losing yourself in him. He kisses you with a passion you don’t know how to return but it doesn’t seem like he cares, slight pants mixed in with his light groans of approval churning your stomach with desire. It stokes a fire inside of you, desperately pulling against the back of his shirt and shuddering when you accidentally tug on his hair instead of fabric. 

“Why you-” he growls huskily, pulling apart just to push you back down onto the bed and crawl back over your body to kiss you just as hard as he was before. 

“I want you so bad,” Kaeya groans, letting his hands gently prod against the waist of your pants. 

“But not here, not like this.” 

You feel yourself only slightly come out of the daze when he sits up, running his fingers run though his hair as he catches his breath. You have no idea how much time has passed, caught between the weight of his body and the cloud of desire and reach out to grab him, wanting to return to that dizzying high when a harsh knock sounds against the door. 

“It’s been way over seven minutes! Are you two alive?” someone calls from the other side, making the man above you roll his eyes. 

“It’s my house so I get to do whatever I want. Just stay here darling and I’ll take care of our distractions, okay?” 

The only response you can offer is a dumb nod, watching as he opens the door to tell them off. You lay back down, trying to regain your balance when you feel a weight dip down on the mattress next to you, yelping when he grabs you and pulls you over his body. Instinctively your knees clasp around his hips, straddling Kaeya as he repositions you on top of him. Your eyes meet and his face goes back to that shit eating grin you’re growing to love as his gaze roams over your body. Kaeya lets out a low whistle once he’s done giving you a once over, only serving to further fluster you. 

“I knew you’d look good on top of me. Now, let’s keep going, shall we?”

so i have finally had it this time. not posting for attention but screaming into the void bc its all i can do. please don't click read more unless you're willing to hear some deeply gnarly/personal stuff. and please don't unfollow just bc you didn't heed my warning. this is a personal blog and there's a real live human woman behind the deranged hetaliaposting.

i now know for sure that i intend on ending my marriage. i can't leave yet, but i need to start planning for it. im done. its not worth it.

our first wedding anniversary is in a few days. i have always had thoughts in the back of my mind about us not lasting, but i didnt think it'd end like this, so soon. im embarrassed frankly.

we have had our share of problems both major and minor. but the final straw is that my husband has more or less assaulted me.

so there are more details below but i've been pretty sex repulsed (by irl sex) for the past... 10 months or so? we are not completely sexless but it's usually coercive, with my husband guilt tripping and pestering me for sex. usually i manage to get out of it, even if i do wake up to him rubbing up against me - that doesn't bother me too much.

but yesterday he was being particularly forceful and threatening me if i didn't start having sex with him again whenever he wanted. so he initiated the act. i kept saying no. no i cant. please stop. i dont want this. im gay. and he said no you're not. and he forced me to give him head while also grabbing my breasts and making me undress. i hate being naked. i nearly vomited. i feel disgusting and violated.

the thing is, that part about me being gay wasn't a joke or an excuse/defense. that was me refusing him. i have told him that i am attracted to women so many times and he doesnt even believe that's possible. like, that bisexuality is real. yeah. that hardly scratches the surface of his terrible beliefs and opinions. but i digress.

i don't know if i'm only sex-repulsed due to him getting me pregnant and the subsequent loss, (ruptured ectopic, almost died) which affected me permanently in a physical way and im undeniably also psychologically but i have yet to process that in its entirity.

i am definitely at least bisexual, if not gay. and possibly asexual/gray-ace or whatever. the only men i really feel attraction towards are fictional/purely ideas. seriously. i'm deeply affected by comphet. growing up i knew i was queer but i was also abused by many men as a teen so i guess i internalized it. somewhere down the road i also became really attracted to the idea of settling down and having a family. (i still am, but my priorities have changed the more i see older moms. im only 24, my friend didn't have her first until 34.)

anyway, regardless of my sexuality or lack thereof, aside from our numerous other problems (incompatible personalities, different ambitions, lack of common interests, him being an abusive controlling manbaby, overbearing MIL, living situation, etc.) i am repulsed by him and i cant be around him anymore. i hate him.

the mistakes i have made for/because of this relationship are of a devastating magnitude. i've burned a lotttt of bridges (not my mom, thank god) but with other family, friends and previous employers.

i'm a dummy. yeah. i'm not going to lie. i have invested almost 3 years and over $10k of hard-earned wages into moving to australia for a man who doesn't respect me. i have no income, no privacy, little irl support, because he's isolated me to the point where i'm not me anymore. the most i can hope for is to get a full time job, and/or write some more original stories and possibly get a book deal or self publish. it'll all go into a divorce fund. it'll likely take over a year before the prospect of leaving is financially viable. but i'm not even sure where to go from there. the economy is a disaster in america too.

i would really appreciate some company, i don't necessarily want to discuss what happened but it'd be nice to have someone to talk to as i navigate this. i love you all my friends and followers and readers <3

thoughts on the first omake story?

At it’s fine. it’s fun, but it doesn’t really tell us a lot. While I’m a little disappointed that we get all the lovely cgs for this one, instead of say nikei’s backstory, I can see why this one was done first as they’re kinda the easier loose end to wrap up fast.

A lot of people had guessed that iroha and syobai would survive the bridge and would likely be on the run from the foundation. I like that they’re pretending to be despairs to con money out of people, as syobai never had any qualms about playing whatever side to get paid. And the little facade was fun, I can see them taking the credit for the killing game and getting away with it considering how few survivors were left.

I also kinda like that iroha hasn’t changed, she’s still the same selfish, lazy gremlin. She wants to be back in society but she isn’t willing to put the work in to do that herself, so she’s just following syobai. It’s honestly my favourite thing about her. It would’ve felt weird if falling off a bridge caused her to turn her life around if watching all her friends die didnt tbh. I guess she’s gotten better at acting/lying since chapter 4 haha

It made me feel a little for syobai tho, like I knew his life wasn’t glamorous but the way he’s both kinda tired and acting like it’s a usual day for him kinda nailed a little more for me how grim his life could be at times. Maybe that’s just me?

The only thing that kinda bothered me was it didn’t really feel like it was gonna link to the rest of the stories, and it didn’t really tell us anything new? So I wasn’t really sure what the point was. We all knew they survived as Linuj just loves to tell us when people are dead (cough cough telling us the people in the sim are dead in chapter 6 about 10 times cough cough). I guess we know they’re separated off from yuuki? That the foundation is tracking them? That despairs are dwindling but still very much a danger? It’s kinda all stuff we already knew

Iroha’s outfit is cute, syobai suits pinstripes, the cgs are nice, but the topic itself was kinda eh. Perhaps it’ll link in with the later ones and that’ll be cool and I’ll eat my words. I’m excited to see the rest tho, I just hope that they aren’t all set post game.

idk why he says nothings wrong when i ask him, when clearly something is wrong. ik how he is & when somethings up but he still denied it. i understand if he doesnt wanna get into it rn or he just wants to let it go but like in this case, i pretty much know exactly what its about that could be bothering him & the only way to put him at ease is to talk about it….again! this one specific thing triggered his mood last night & i didnt even think it would. i noticed a red scratch mark on my chest and sent him a pic saying how i think his cat made the scratch. his reply was soo serious, like i could actually feel him doubting me thru the phone. i knew he was questioning if it was really the cat bc he said how he was close to my chest the other day and didnt see anything so that is odd that theres a scratch. !! i immediately knew where his mind went & that thought didnt even occur to me when i sent that pic..like if i knew that would cause him to think of this crazy scenario then i wouldnt have sent that snap in the first place tbh bc right after that, his tone & the way he texted just shifted. hes not the best at masking his feelings like me so i can tell when the energy feels different. i also posted some pics from the hangout on my ig story & he saw it later that night. i have a feeling that added to his misery and all of today it was so prevalent, even if he denies it. idc if he says nothings wrong bc its not convincing and its not just in my head. he went from msging me all cutesy & happy to immediately being more neutral & uninterested. we always send a snap to say good morning (unless we get busy but we still send a snap with whatever we’re doing). he didnt open the app, as well as reply to my snap, until 7:15pm.. around 4 was when i asked him whats wrong (bc i already knew he was ignoring me). his response was that nothing really is wrong and how he went straight to work and his boss switched his assignment. usually id let that go but not when its already past 7 and hes firsttt opening snapchat to answer me ? and i see that hes been on instagram. also.. hes always talking to me when hes either at work already, still at home, or driving to work. the only time he goes mia like that is when something is definitely upsetting him. also!.. when that happens, he will text me after a couple hrs to let me know how hes feeling & why he was silent. he didnt always do that but i told him to bc its not fair to me by feeling like ive done something or just the feeling of purposely being ignored by my own boyfriend. but yeah.. he didnt do any of that this time BC its this whole situation again. i really dont know what more i could do to reassure him about it. i feel like ive done and am doing all that i can rn. its mostly up to him now to let himself figure it out and honestly, just trust me. like just saying.. im not gonna be making that mistake that you (both) did and be stupid with it.. and neither will snow. theyre not a “friend” its actually becoming really genuine and sweet and i wont let it get ruined bc of him doubting me. i also wont let the friendship ruin me and him. i really cant help but compare it to what he did with his friend, especially since i just found out like a month ago. i also have this suspicion that it happened earlier that yr (when we were still together) than what he told me, but i dont even wanna think about that for any longer. i was told by her Husband! that it happened when they were still in school together. that means a year before. idk if i believe that. she mightve lied, but my suspicion’s still there. like i asked him if he remembered what month and he couldnt. all he knew was that it was during our break..-.- the what.…like 1 1/2 month long break. you dont remember which month..? i sound so salty rn omg i dont mean to. im just trying to understand. ill see how he is with me tm bc we barely talked today. kind of glad i worked most of the day so i was able to keep busy and not hyper focus on him ignoring me.

im not sure what SPECIFICALLY to post abt her bc this ask is a little vague, BUT i do think abt her a lot!!! tho i DO gotta think about her more, she is a WONDERFUL character

bc idk what specifically, my interpretation of her post canon and WHY (also under a readmore because WOW!! i had apparently a lot to say abt her):

i think!!! she is a LOT more mellow after she gets home. like in one 16 after shes respawned its like. she seems to be friendlier? which. i think has to do w like... i dont think she was a bad person really, and i dont think shed been acting Maliciously, but when it came to having friends i think it was really easier for her to genuinely take things as worst as they could be. we dont actually get much of her backstory, so its up to interpretation as to WHY, but i think she genuinely struggled with being distrustful of those close to her. she likes them, that much is clear, but trusting people is a whole other thing

but i think she really DID view her friends as pitying her. as not respecting her, even when they werent Being cruel. they were concerned for her safety, and how her recklessness was affecting her. and i think that can end up walking a line between pity and not wanting your friends to do things that are pretty unambiguously dangerous, and what was very standard friendship ended up feeling a lot MORE like they didnt respect her or her choices

and i think what changes this is that. she DID die. and i think that contextualized for her that her friends werent concerned because they thought she couldnt handle herself, but because they just Generally care abt her yknow? as fucked up as her dying is, i think it did ultimately make her realize that THIS is what her friends were worried about. they didnt want THIS to happen to her, and i think in an odd way? it kinda made her. idk understand? trust? the people around her more. like in a 'oh, people around me dont only care about me for selfish reasons, or cruel reasons. they care because they CARE' way

and i think that, and the fact that she says that shed been thinking about this a lot? i feel like it kinda all forced her to slow down and WANT to talk to the people around her. because shed been pushing them all away because what was the point in talking to them? and i think once she REALLY noticed how amelia was doing, after thinking so much about all this, it kinda MADE her want to amend things. or at the very least, to talk to people more. shes isolated herself long enough, and its now more than ever that she realizes how much others meant to her in the first place.

(i think in some aspects, amelias method of coping also bothered her. amelias coping mechanisms werent necessarily BAD, theyre not good by real-world standards, but given the situation shes in, it was just... once of the few ways she COULD cope. but i think the flaws in this method of coping really came through once airy came back, because in forgetting everything about who she used to be, earth became a very daunting place, but now that airys back, any amount of feeling like home the plane may have unfortunately gained was completely undone. and i think charlotte actually SEES that, and its not the exact same as her own struggles, but i think she WANTS to help amelia, because she of all people knows how the feeling of being isolated, either on purpose or accident, can feel Extremely Awful. that, and she knew amelia before things on the plane got REALLY bad, and she SAW (since ive seen people note that she!!! was watching amelia do yoga w the others) amelia gradually give up, become comfortable, and then LOSE all of that

and i think, at least right before bryce showed up, it felt fucked up that charlotte WAS the only other person from the same world as amelia and theyd!!! never even spoken about it??? (like how she comments that they NEVER told each other their names. which only applies to her and amelia. that statement was intended very specifically towards amelia) and its like. i think it mightve made her a bit 'no WONDER shes not doing well. even if shes trying to act like she is' (which i dont even think amelia is doing to deflect so much as an attempt at 'if i pretend its ok it WILL be ok right?'))

and!!! once getting home i think this would all really lead her to be a bit more patient with others. i dont think the distrust would STOP being an issue, but i think such a terrible experience causing her to completely recontextualize the actions of those around her would actually help, at least a little . i dont actually know if i think shed stay friends w parker and that friend group, but i think theyd at the least keep in touch. parker clearly, even when they were arguing, STILL cared about her, and i think seeing her disappear probably was. a bit haunting, and so i think at the very least hed like to know shes Okay

also whenever people have the characters live together post canon, they only ever include bryce liam and amelia, and i GET why!!! charlotte didnt really interact w them for a looong time. but after charlotte is revived i actually see her as talking with them yknow? i dont think shed stop talking to them again, and i think her talking with amelia was a genuine attempt to help!! so i think theyd stick together. i dont imagine liam actually gets closer with any of the contestants while hes trying to send them home (tho i dont think it worsens substantially either. i think it just sorta. stays where it is? and if he did have notable interactions with any of them, itd PROBABLY be mainly w amelia and bryce, tho i dont think he DOESNT talk to charlotte too! he just has a diff sort of connection w those to, based on the experiences he Shared w them) so i think he isnt SUPER close w charlotte, but i think the others may become WAY closer w her!!! so i think if they all moved in together? that WOULD include charlotte!!! (that, and i think charlotte would also develop a sort of respect for liam . because he kinda DOES display exactly the type of traits she didnt really see people as having!!! going to EXTREME lengths to help people, including HER! so i think shed generally have many thoughts on him)

anyway !!! thats it the point is that as much as one would fuck charlotte up in her own way, i think, similar to how bryce tried to get his life together after he was first eliminated, shed similarly end up having a better ability to navigate social stuff in not such a pessimistic way as before!!!!!

u seem to like/draw like . everyone in somnium files im dying to know what ur ranking of them is and why like i cant pin down a favorite based on ur posts

My ranking is honestly kind of simple because I love everyone! (tier list so I can organize my thoughts accidently put Saito in the wrong spot he SHOULD. be next to So)

I honestly really like every character in the first game. Every character feels unique and like they have a reason to be there, even Mame who doesn't get much screen time. They all have their own thing going on which I feel helps flesh out the world they live in really well.

Date and Mizuki are my top faves but everyone else in that tier is really close to them sdkfhsd, their route just personally hit the hardest for me, and then Ota's route.. (although honestly every route hits in such a good different way) I love their dynamic so much, and a lot of their dynamic reminds me of my and my dad LOL (just in a more healthy way than them) Basically the moment I saw Mizuki in that pillar I knew I was going to love her, traumatized young child that seems to have sooo many issues and knows the protag? sign me up! But yeah, going from her route and the ones on the left side to the right side was so jarring because there is like. No Mizuki in Iris' route like at all, which made me very sad. But when she is there she totally just steals the scene so I get it skjfskd Having all the other characters trying to tell Date how Not Okay she is always made me so mad at Date like "Sir!! Sir please help your daughter" and he just didnt. I think thats one thing that bothers me but its easy to ignore since the route wasn't about her. BUT YEAH I Love Date and Mizuki and their dynamic they are my faves and I REALLY!! Wish it didn't feel like everyone just. forgot about Mizuki in the end of the true route. But thats ok because I guess it makes sense, Date was struggling lmao I loveddd what we saw of Falco which is why he's UP there too, I just find him so facsinating and loved seeing how much he loved Iris and Hitomi, and just how much he was willing to lose in order to protect them. Hitomi is also definitely one of my favourites because shes also just so fascinating, I will always have a memory of playing her backstory part with my friend in my hallway because we couldnt find anywhere to charge her switch, and just being so FLOORED at everything she revealed. That poor woman has been through so much and still remains hopeful and filled with so much love and that just. ow. I love her sm. I love Iris. I used to hate Iris. (I played the left side first, so it wasn't really Iris) She got on my nerves because of how obviously manipulative she was to Date, but now I love that about her shes so cheeky sdkfjsdf she gets so many of her traits from her Uncle <3 Such a goofy girl I looove her dynamic with literally all of the characters because it shows just how SMART! She is I don't think she gets enough credit for how smart she is. Aiba is so silly and I love her, shes such a strong character in the first game and her relationship with Date really is everything to me. The warehouse scene almost made me cry but because I knew she would come back after it didnt affect me as hard BUT STILL. "I hate you Aiba and I never want to see you again" is a line I will never be able to forget. Her humour is one of the best parts of the game and I just love how much she shines in somniums when messing with Date, neither of them have a single thought, do they sdhfshdf I'd go over the other 3 in my top tier but this is already very long UM.... if you want me to talk more about a specific character feel free to send another ask!! (Just a note, this is my opinion on all the characters excluding how they may have been changed in aini, not for any reason I just like the characters more in the first game)

Introducing Myself

Hiya! As this is the very first post, I thought it better than any to make it all about ME! lol just kidding, this is Meeko's world and I'm just the chauffeur.

Meeko (often referred to as Meeks, Bubbas, Sweet boy, or The Puppers) is a Golden Doodle born Dec. 11, 2019 in Midland, Texas. He came home with me in February the following year so technically that doesn't count as a Pandemic Puppy, but he lived that pandemic puppy life. After 2 months of having him, his whole world consisted of just him and me. When the bulk of the pandemic was over and life at work went back to normal, he was not okay with it BUT traveling was safe and okay again, so his world got much bigger! My late teens, early 20s I was fortunate enough to travel Europe. Mostly on my own (less of a hassle to bring others along, get to go where I wanted when I wanted and do what i wanted) and I had the time of my life! The time came when I had to move back to the States, and it was SCARY! I had lived in Germany for 13 years; my whole life was about to be turned upside down. For a while I stayed in the city I moved to, spending much needed time with family, who normally only got to see me a few weeks out of the summer and had to share me with other family in other states. So, a few weeks for me but only a few days for each of them. Anyways life got boring pretty fast for me. That travel bug just kept biting. Most of my family have lived where they live for YEARS. So, I traveled to the same 3 states each summer. I NEEDED to see what else the states had to offer. I didn't want to do it alone anymore but also didn't know anyone whose jobs gave them as much time off as mine did so a puppy I decided was the best option. I had always wanted a puppy! If there was a puppy at a party, that's who I was with. My best friend and I dog sat for people all the time but just wasn't in the card for me to have one of my own at the time. My first apartment in the states was also my first time living alone. Saw on Instagram a lady had a few doodles left and in my heart I knew. The timing of having my own place plus the exact breed of dog I've wanted my whole life being available, I was getting a fur bestie for sure! When I went to go see the pups, I really didnt think I would be bring one home. I just wanted to look and see if it would be a good fit. Didn't even have the okay with the place I was living at yet. oops. But when I stepped foot in that yard looking at the light brown curly haired princess I saw in the picture and wanted so badly DIDN'T give me a minute of her time, I thought okay maybe not. I looked down and realized the white chunky ball of fur who was chewing on my shoe lace, hadn't left my foot the entire time. I really wanted a light brown color puppy but my little prince was holding on to my shoe for dear life! Got him to stopped chewy but then he SAT ON MY FEET and just followed me around when I was trying to meet his sisters. He chose me and I knew I couldn't walk away from him.

Now him and I pack up my car and go wherever our hearts desire. He loves being outside, as long as I'm there. If I try to leave him in the yard at my grandma's, lol he sits on the chair and looks at us through the kitchen window while the other dogs play. Once we let him in or we sit outside with him, he's full on dog mode. His first car ride made him a bit sick but now all I have to do is open one door and he's the first one to jump in! Long car rides don't bother him, I like to think it's because he knows the destinations are always worth it! He loves othe animals and people. Not so much babies but in a Ew leave me alone kind of way. I think he doesn't know what do with them so he just slowly leans away lol. I think because of his fur maybe, he is not a fan of dog beds and only lays on the furniture for a minute before going to any area that doesn't have carpet or anything soft. He's big and fluffy so he prefers wood floor or the cool garage ground.

if you are both alone you could ask ryujin to do absolutely anything, illegal or not, and she'd just nod dreamily because

instead of you talking it's just pretty bells and the sound of angels singing

she has it so bad

everyone around her soon enough comes to the conclusion also, that she has it bad

and so when you get 'accidentally' paired up for some project or end up alone in a room by 'coincidence

is really the only time ryujin even has a chance of telling you how she feels because if there is an audience she just becomes a shell

so when you sit down in front of her with a big smile and she opens her mouth to FINALLY explain why she's been running away from you like you have the plague and saying she doesn't know your name even though it's a word she repeats to herself a hundred times on a daily basis

liking someone so much that her brain goes a little haywire is like .... not normal for her

usually, people are lovestruck for her and she has to let them down (in the coolest, most polite way possible)

she decides that she just kinda has to put in a little more of the work than usual

just a flip of her hair and handing you her phone to put your number in might not work this time

(spoiler: it would have totally worked, but for the sake of the au..)

Hello!! Well this came to my mind and would be interesting to put into words.

Something that her fans were right is that she hadn't to accept Rock Lee's confession and love. For them a No was No, which is hilarious becase their princess didnt do this with sasuke lol but anyway. After Lee saves Sakura in Death Forest, she changes her attitude towards him and started to be nice , she even defends him when Naruto said something aboout bushy-eyebrows. Even more, i dont actually remember scenes where she is rude against him after that incident in the forest. She tried to encouraged him and most of the time she was "nice" with Lee. In the Hospital in part 1 she was going to visit Sasuke and she also thought of Lee, so she gifted him some flowers too.

-All of this I speak from the anime canon, manga i dont remember tbh. Also in movies I remember her being nice with Lee too- So, what's my point and question? Why is she so bitchy towards Naruto? While she is nice -or try to- with Lee (which he fucking deserves this treatment of course) , why she is still so ungraceful towards Naruto? Naruto saved her much more times than Lee, but still she can be nice with him. I get that when you are confident with someone, you tend to "insult" more lets say. But i get that feel when naruto is around of shikamaru or the other guys. We know how he and Sasuke treat each other ♥ But still, i dont get this with Sakura. Even more, did she ever defend Naruto? From other people I mean. If she could change her attitude for Lee, being almost a good friend.

There is this hard fact that every author with just half a braincell knows, that is, 'IF YOU WANT A CHARACTER TO BE LIKEABLE, MAKE IT BEHAVE NICER TOWARDS THE MAIN CHARACTER'.

To be honest, I started to like Sasuke because of that very fact 'He was extremely nice towards Naruto in his own way' and later I started to adore him because of his own backstory. But the first spark was because of Episode 3, Orphan insult scene.

It seems Kishi never had that intention to make Sakura be an honest friend with Naruto even in The Last movie. So, ummm.... Yup.

Like you said, Sakura changed her attitude towards Lee and she encouraged him when he was wounded after fighting Gaara. But anyways, she again went onto being a bitch in the Kage Summit Arc, by leaving Lee on the road without any care!!! So... That's what you can expect from her🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ But that's not the point of this post. Is it??

Point to be noted : Sasuke and Naruto insulting each other shows their comfort level with each other. Sakura harassing Naruto is not the same thing. Never.

I think she spoke for Naruto before Sasuke twice. One, In the forest of the Death. Two, Under the Bridge. But it doesn't matter.

She should've defended Naruto from Sasuke's attacks in Orochimaru hideout like Sai.

She should've worried about Naruto's wounds after Naruto came back like an Egyptian Mummy from fighting in VoTE in part 1. Instead she was worried about Sasuke alone.

She should've fought Sasori for Naruto's safety sake instead of getting information about Sasuke.

She should’ve stayed with Naruto when he went with Karui to deal with Sasuke’s Akatsuki activities. 

She should've stood up for Naruto in her final confession like 'Sasuke-kun, if you touch Naruto, I'll have to kill you eventhough I love you'... Yeah, she wouldn't stand a chance against Sasuke. But her character would've shined a lot.

So, Nope. She defending Naruto couple of times but letting him down countless other times doesn't matter.

WHY SAKURA TREATS NARUTO BADLY ?

After thinking about all the possibilities,

SOCIAL STATUS OF NARUTO

Sakura is the reflection of the Villagers' mindset. That is, The object of Hatred who should be treated like pest.

She definitely gave me that vibe in Episode 3. She literally treated him like a plague and I wanted to slap her so hard ever since. But even after the Pain Arc, I mean after Naruto became a Hero by making peace with Nagato, she still behaved like a Worst Bitch.

If she truly represents the social dynamics of the Villagers, she should have become a good friend like Shikamaru or Neji long back. But she didn’t.

So, we can safely eliminate this possibility.

SAKURA THINKS NARUTO IS 'THIRDWHEELING'

Well, This is from Chapter 3. So, I think whenever Sakura makes a move on Sasuke, Naruto accidentally comes in between her one-sided ‘duck dreams’ and spoil her party. It seems this has been going on for a long time. So, she just hates him for that. 

I found this ‘coming between’ thing twice in part 1. The first time was when Naruto stole the ‘First Kiss’ of Sasuke.

Second time was when Naruto was about to fight Gaara.

Here, Sakura was fretting over Sasuke’s cursed Seal and when Naruto asked her a question, she responded with a ‘Devil Face’. I mean is there any need to get angry at this time? There’s a monster standing before them and all she worries about is her poor ‘Sasuke-Kun’ and not even bothered about her surroundings, because Naruto will do the dirty job. All she can do is touch and worry about Sasuke. 

Well, In reality she is the one coming between them and she never realized that. What a self-absorbed Trash!!!

SAKURA IS JEALOUS

Naruto receives something from Sasuke that she never got from him, not until the very end and even today. That is, Attention. 

I noticed this in the Manga. Surprisingly, I guess none of the SNS bloggers brought this very cute panel up for discussion. It’s not in the Anime though!! 

This is from Chapter 3 page 6. (Geez!!!! Chapter 3 is a Gold Mine for SNS)

As you see Sakura was watching Sasuke up close like a Fruit Cake. It seems, Sasuke doesn’t give 2 fucks about her or anyone!!!

Now Let’s go back to Page 5 and see what happened earlier.

Naruto has been intensely throwing knives from his eyes. And you know what!!! Sasuke noticed it and asked him ‘What?’. To which Naruto asks, ‘What do you mean what?’. LOLLLLLL.

Even during Chakra Training, Sakura climbed the tree very easily in the hopes that Sasuke would appreciate her or notice her with admiration. But he was never bothered about her achievements even by a bit, but he paid attention to Naruto when he found out he was slowly catching up to him🤭🤭🤭.

I always find this scene very funny and cute because just like before, Naruto throws Daggers at him visually and Sasuke was like, ‘What did I do this time?’. 😍😍😍

Well, I don’t have to add the scenes from Orochimaru Hideout, Bridge scene and War Arc, Do I?

And the best part is Sakura knew that Naruto gets his attention. So, her jealousy is probably the reason for her to treat him so badly. Just like how she treats Ino. Since Naruto plays dunce in front of her, she takes advantage of it and used him like a Tooth Brush.

This is also one of the reason for her to treat him badly.

Because Lee never came in between Sakura and Sasuke. It was Naruto, the whole time. And that's why she was like a bitch to Naruto.

Kishimoto in his own words,

I mean, Come On!!!, Sakura is nothing compared to Naruto's power level, strength or jutsu varieties to consider him as a rival in these departments. Still she is considering Naruto as her rival.

The only thing that connects them is their obsession towards Sasuke's Acknowledgement. And Kishi himself is hinting at a love triangle with Sasuke as the central figure.

I love Our Life so much but if the release of the step 3 dlc is in April, please don't "release" it on April 1, my poor heart can't take that prank 😭

Don’t worry! I’m horrible at pranks, haha. When we do post something specifically for April Fool’s it’s always to pretend it’s a joke when in reality it’s something we’re actually planning to do. But we don’t have anything like that arranged for this year. Any posts on April 1st will just be like normal.

Omigod, can you end the game in love with Cove but not in a relationship? My character stayed calm at the restaurant and Cove slept over at her home and I think I may have missed it. I'm delirious if I did, may never stop laughing. The children are idiots 

Haha, yes, it is possible to be in love and still not get into an actual relationship. There’s no forced ending where the two are made to confess their feelings and accept, it’s all optional/avoidable.

How can you see the new main character cut-in images? I'm not trying to be rude, but, all of my playthroughs, but I haven't seen them yet. (I know you can go through an entire game without seeing them, but I have went through multiple games.)

Hello! I bumped into Our Life randomly last month, and it is one of the best coincidences I have ever laid on. I love how the choices and little details in the story changes throughout the game, and I'm excited to keep supporting you! I'm absolutely in love with Cove and would like to ask what keeps him to be especially interested in the MC? Other than how you can choose what fondness level you have with him, what ultimately leads him to be in sync with us? Sorry if it's a little much & thank u! 

Cove likes the MC because, regardless of the different personality traits you can give the MC, they meet him on his level, listen to him, understand him (even if you’re indifferent and not really close the MC still gets where he’s coming from), and if you’re fond/crush/love than you’re there for him. He finds the MC someone he can respect, trust, and, if they’re close, feel safe with. I’m glad you enjoyed the game!

hi there! for xoxo droplets i see the that female pronouns are used in the description, in the actual game can you change the pronouns or are they stuck as female? i'm aware the game is free, but i have a bad habit of buying dlc's before playing the game so it would be helpful to know before i spend money on it. if anything i'll save that money for more our life dlcs when they come out :D

XOXO Droplets does have a set MC. It’s the story of a specific person rather than a game about making your own story. All of our games prior to Our Life were about exploring MCs that were fully fleshed out people in their own right, so you can’t get the OL experience from what we did before. But we do plan to do more custom-style MCs going forward from here!

For the our life nsfw dlc, will you have to be in the patron to have it or  will there be another way for people who really support the game but can't pay to get it? 

I’m afraid not. We might put it up for sale somewhere other than Patreon someday (though never on Steam or Itch) since we know not everyone can use that site, but it will still cost money on any other hosting page we use. It’s unfortunately not a piece of content we can give away for free.

Hello! I finally got to play Xoxo Blood Droplets and it mentioned about a DLC coming out soon. Is it already out or are you still planning it?

We are still planning to finish it when we can, we just had to put it on hold because 2020 was a tough year and we needed to put all our focus on Our Life. There’s some of the extra DLC stories available for beta testing on the Patreon.

Is there a link to the soundtrack for Xoxo Blood Droplets? I really like the music in this game! 

That’s not available yet, but we’ll probably put it up for sale once the rest of the stories are done.

We might! There are some things we wanna do and fix before we really start advertising XOXO Droplets things again, but hopefully it all comes together.

Why does Cove dislike Shiloh so much despite all of Shiloh's efforts to get along? I can understand his dislike for Lizzie, but why Shiloh? 

They met under bad terms (with an arranged play date he had no choice in), Shiloh’s sort of pushy himself when it comes to trying to get along, and Cove thinks he’s just kind of unusual in how he interacts/reacts with people. They don’t click, basically.

Is there a way to have your character be a tsundere? And have Cove toughened up a bit due to that? Sorry if the is a stupid question! ^^;

Maybe? The options in the game aren’t based on those types of personality tropes and I don’t know them well enough to say if you can accurately find a way to make it work with the available options. But it’s not a stupid question, I’m sure plenty of other people have considered something similar c:

do voiced names work only with their exact spelling? cause my mc is called Sophia and one of the voiced names is Soffia so i was wondering but if only works like that it's fine (sorry if i made any mistakes, english isn't my first language) 

“Voice” and “text” are separate! You can pick the “voice” you want and then type in whatever “text” you prefer. And your English is really good.

Will OL:NF be based on a season/break like the first game? Or some other type of setting? 

Our Life: Now & Forever takes place over the full course of Autumn. So, the start of school and then into the fall holiday season type of time period.

Only in small ways, really. Sadly, I’m just not someone who enjoys jealousy in stories and therefore I don’t know how to implement it in a way that feels enjoyable. Maybe I’ll figure out a angle I can work with in future projects.

Do you have any plans with Our Life once step 4 has been released along with step 3's DLCs? 

After the Step 3 DLCs and Step 4 we’ll be releasing the Cove wedding DLC, the Derek romance DLC, and then the Baxter romance DLC. The project will likely be considered fully complete at that point.

Hello, I just needed to first of all sat how amazed I was when I discovered this game. I thought I would be disappointed by the lack of love interests, but you worked so hard to make sure Cove is the Best Boy for so many different people!! It really has been my comfort game for a while now, and I think all the different choices you allow make it the best romance game I’ve played in my life. The only problem is now my expectations for love are Cove level, and no one can live up to that. You’ve put so much consideration to make this game super inclusive and I think it’s amazing. If I can ask, for the exclusive NSFW Patreon dlc, will it only be available for the month it comes out? Or could I become a patron months later and still be able to download it. It’ll have similar rewards to the Our Life: O&A Kickstarter, but some changes will have to be made. Like, we’ll definitely need to increase the rate for getting a voiced name. Originally it was $3USD, which was super low for how much work it really took to add in a customized piece of voice acting, aha. Live and learn.

They have different development times and will come out separately. Despite taking place in the same Step period, they’re disconnected pieces of content and making progress on one doesn’t mean the other is closer to being finished. The normal Step 3 DLC is releasing first. It’s great to hear you’re looking forward to them!

Cove’s mom, Kyra, is white. But his dad’s, Cliff’s, race doesn’t come up and players are able to headcanon it. So Cove is half white and half whatever you prefer Cliff to be! 

hello! there was a post on the patreon where you can run your fingers down cove's chest in errands - how do you get that scene? ♥ 

That was an old mistake on my part- you can only get that scene in the Ending rather Errands. You have to leave the big family dinner at the restaurant to go into the car, be dating Cove for a while, have Cove come see you there, and then mention using your hands when Cove makes a joke about hands.

in baxter’s dlc, is there any point where you can tell him about the previous renters of the condo? 

You can talk to him about that in the normal Step 3 DLC!
