Forever wondering what happened to Brad. He should still be alive somewhere in that TVA building

the interviews conducted on s2 have largely implied that the story of the TVA is over. so like, that would indicate that brad’s story is over, unless they bring him back to live out the zaniac role. which i don’t really see happening? i’m not keeping up with the MCU like i used to- loki was really it for me, and how much i pay attention to in the future will be based on what they do with loki and sylvie (not that i am particularly interested in their offerings if they continue to be the quality of s2) BUT the point i’m trying to get at is: even within their future projects i’m not seeing a space where brad fits beyond a quick cameo or punchline and decidedly not a full-fledged story.

we can put him in the “characters marvel abandoned too soon” shelter with dox so he can go about and continue whatever it is they do together- we shall never know. feel free to send in others that have been orphaned by the narrative over the last decade so we can collect spare change on their behalf.

truthfully, shouto doesn't spend long "celebrating". there's already too much that's required of him, hardly enough time to even scarf down a few bites of the banquet laid out before he's being chartered off into discussions on foreign relations and infrastructure development. maybe once or twice does he look back to check on you, chatting pleasantly with his mother and sister at the front of the great hall, and that's satisfying enough.

it's not until much later that he sees you again; freshly bathed and wearing something sheer and long and white, atop his bed.

that—was not something his father had ever said, he was sure, and it was a too-rare exchange between his own parents. now that he thinks about it—and he does, then, because he's faced with the reality that he doesn't know as much as he should—he's not sure the former king and queen even sleep in the same room, much less the same bed.

much less hug and touch and even smile, the way you do now.

there's no argument he can make against it, aside from finding keigo to find his father to verify the truth to such a statement, and he's only meant to retreat from this bed on one condition.

and if this is what it takes to meet that—then shouto supposes he'll have to do it, for now. he's a brand new king, after all, and it would seem he still has much to learn.

I think a lot of discussions would be made better by recognizing that masculinity and femininity aren't inherently preferred, but adherence to cishet standards is, which is slightly different.

This is why a masculine trans man* or a feminine trans woman* often still face stigma - it isn't that they aren't gender conforming to the gender they are. It is that cishetero standards do not want trans people to exist at all, in any capacity.

I was going to say we need to be weirder about Maglor but then I remembered crablor. That’s on me. We need to also be DIFFERENT weird about Maglor.

Maglor who walks along the coast for thousands of years and does not stop singing. Maglor who after ages of the world have passed, has a voice that is made only for music. When he speaks, there is something too lyrical to the tone. He sighs and the world accompanies him. His raised voice sets the ground shaking, his laments call water like tears from the sky. He has to be careful when he speaks to people, however rare that is, because of it. He weeps and those who can hear him cannot help but weep as well. Maglor with a voice so powerful that he can no longer use it the way he could when the world was young. One more thing lost to the Oath.

Hi!! I don't know if anyone has drawn this before (sorry if they have!! I couldn't find any evidence of it) but I have recently been plagued with the question of "what if Machete and Vasco were in Bluey?"

Well. Now we know.

To my knowledge, the only Bluey dogs who wear clothes are the ones in uniforms. TECHNICALLY Machete's outfit could count, but I left it out because it's not typical of a main character. He must be naked 😔

I'm ngl, I know it's a really small thing compared to the glaringly obvious villainy his dad has showcased, but I love how well the pizza episode conveys Dev's emotional neglect without it technically coming up at all

And personally I feel like that's a bit of a recurring thing with his wishes too, like he knows he's got the power to get the things he wants, but as insufferable as he is sometimes he may have been conditioned out of "being a problem" via "overly specific" requests.

Kind of like Cookie's "wish granting" style, he gets "the best" (read: most expensive) thing and then expected to shut up and stay out of the way
