First Attempt.

One minute I'm me; I'm a care free soul sailing by blissfully floating along on the waves of laughter from friends and family, at complete ease with the world. Nothing could bother me; I'm weightless.

Then suddenly a storm approaches and I watch as it gets closer; I make stupid mistakes and panic and mess things up. I curse myself and doubt every action I'm about to take until it's too late and I'm stuck right in the middle of this horrendous blizzard. It's dark and terrifying and even though I tell myself to keep going; to find some sort of light or just to push through all the darkness and the lashing waves of intrusive thoughts... I don't. I drop anchor and let the waves hit me and let the darkness consume every corner of my sight. The waves rip and tear at my skin while the darkness has left me practically blind and numb.

Even when I eventually emerge from the storm I'm not me; not anymore. I'm blinded and scarred. Im terrified of everything and anything. The future seems bleak; the present is hard and the past is just too disappointing to think about. I worry about things that could happen, even though there is no proof that they could... I'm still afraid that they might. I feel that everything I have will fall through my fingers and with it I will slowly fade as well.

I once floated through life so peacefully and full of happiness and joy. Now I'm bound to the ground... the reality of life and the torture of knowing that nothing gets better... this is it. It's painful and uncertain and in the end we all come to the same stop on our journey. Some just much sooner than others.... so really why should we care about trivial things, when life isn't that important in the end?

I am feeling so melancholy, missing our babies Sunshine (because she was was happy and beautiful) and Disney (because the girls favorite place in the world was Disney World- we went every other year). We got Disney the mix Terrier when we first brought our house in NJ. We thought she was a Jack Russell Terrier (remember the dog from Frazier). We didn't realize she wasn't a Jack Russell Terrier well after we purchased her and fell in love (the breeder lied). We purchased Sunshine (for Nia as she was off to college). They were so loving and lovable. They both since passed. We miss them terribly. Just felt like sharing. #TrillTalkOfTheMorning Regrann from @myeshiaroberts - Anyone could be struggling with suicide....I almost lost my life due to an suicide attempt in 2009... according to the EMT & doctors I was clinging on to life when I arrived in their ER.. I never understood it when people would say" my life flashed before my eyes", until it happened to me. Literally I was clinging onto life and it was as if I could LITERALLY feel my soul leaving from my body. If the EMTs would have gotten to my house five minutes later I would have died. You never know what someone's going through , it doesn't matter how rich or poor because they are broken within. I felt like my only option at that time was to leave this life. I literally didn't have anyone to talk to no one took the time to understand what I was going through mental ,spiritually ,and emotionally ...... I challenge you today to call that person that family or friend make sure that they're okay, take time out of your busy schedule to understand and sympathize and to pray with them ....... You don't have to be a mental health professional to help someone in your life that may be struggling...
