ik people love to pick and choose but i really need you guys to just stop and remember that tim minear is just the guy who writes the show. he says one thing against a certain sect of the fandom and the other sect is like "see!!! we told you!!! he hates you guys!!!" and then the next day he says something else against the other sect and the first group of people are like "see haha!!! he hates you guys more!!!" like. he's just a guy. of course he has a problem with over enthusiastic fandom, we all sound the same to him.

oh i don't know how well this is known but the! Pebbles' musical pearl is called Halcyon Memories, right? well Halcyon is like

something something, its symbolism comes from some Greek myth about it calming the waves at winter solistace i think or smth along those lines. that drawing with it with Pebs is quite old at this point- i had the idea to draw Pebbles with kingfishers a little in the name of that pearl. hasn't gotten further than that sketch though 😔

quiet little quick shoutout to @henrysglock and @aemiron-main for noticing all the weird detail shifts and changes in 001’s appearance during the hnl massacre/confrontation with el. because the first few times i watched it, months before i even thought about becoming active in the fandom on tumblr, i remember thinking “something is weird about this. he keeps looking different, or the color grading keeps changing, or something. something’s weird. it doesn’t feel cohesive” but not really having the reason or wherewithal to focus on it and try to pick apart why it felt weird

thank u kings for having the eyes to catch all those little changes so i could understand just why the whole thing felt slightly off
