tokyo ghoul characters in a ballet class

kaneki is trying his best but he’s like an awkward little duckling. generally not bad, but constantly questioning why he’s there. always in the back of the class. he can’t fully keep up with the moves and is tripping over his feet.

hide is having the time of his life. absolutely horrible at ballet but smiling the whole time and laughing at his own mistakes. making comments about the “funny words” for the moves. teacher’s nightmare.

haise, unlike kaneki, while still awkward and tripping, is having a great time. very eager to learn. putting 100% effort into everything even though he’s not very good. teacher loves him because he always takes feedback very well.

ayato is similar to touka in that he’s angry and frustrated the whole time because he can’t do anything properly. unlike touka, who complains in her head, he complains out loud. gets thrown out of class for sassing the teacher.

shuu probably already knows ballet. if he doesn’t, he’s definitely a natural. ballet seems like something shuu would really like. super dramatic with everything and gets so into it. class is his stage. has really high jumps.

These are my own opinions drawn from interactions in the show and manga! Please be kind!

Hi hi!! For sillies I wanted to share my TG headcanons! I am a genderfluid aroace lesbian so I'm kind of biased towards the women bc I'm in love w them all tbh but I'll probably make more if I feel like it. For now have some main ones :)

Hide (he/him cis) - Bisexual! He's heavily bi coded in the manga and in the anime too! The way he interacts with Kaneki especially is very...

Saiko (she/they trans) - She's a character I project onto a lot. She doesn't seem to care much for romance or really socializing in general which is so real tbh. Her lack of caring I don't think translates to her platonic relationships later in the series (as we see) but I think her romantic interest is slim to none.

Urie (he/him cis (?) I can see him as trans tbh) - He is a bitter gay man. Prove me wrong. He's the black cat to Ginshi's golden retriever.

Ginshi - Bisexual! To me he seems unconcerned w labeling himself but still views everyone as attractive and isn't sure why.

Tooru (he/him trans) - MY FAVOURITE CANON TRANS MAN ILY 🙏🙏 He's gay imo but I am open to other interpretations as well.

Juuzou (he/they agender) - Demisexual but even then hasn't ever been romantically involved w anyone bc of his trauma.

Topic: What it'd be like dating him if you were a human or ghoul!

If you're human:

He actually didn't mind your presence, and enjoyed it from time to time.

He tried to give you matching stitches to his, and if you decline, he'd pout about it for DAAYS on end. But if you accepted, he got so giddy about it and always asked that you show the others.

Once you confessed you loved him, he was..confused. Poor guy didn't really care for dating, and your the first person to just ask him out like that. He happily accepted though.

The relationship was...Really confusing. Though you learned to figure him out. You were his favorite person afterall, so it wasn't very hard.

Whenever you're working, give him candy while he watches. It's one thing to watch you work, but it's another to eat sweets and do that.

If you're ghoul:

Well...It was complicated. As long as you weren't hostile, he didn't entirely mind. Though, he did try to hurt you sometimes.

He asked a lot of questions about you CONSTANTLY. You're kagune type, health, ect.

He even asked what human flesh tastes like...

You both secretly met up at times, and one of those times he told you his past.

Due to his past, he isn't fond of physical touch from anyone, but especially ghouls. You're ok with this!

8. What do they love most about the other? Why?

Juuzou likes that Hanbee is fun, but also feels like an equal. Unlike the other people in his life who’ve treated him either as a pet to be owned or a child to be condescended to, Hanbee treats him like he’d treat anyone else and still finds him fun. Hanbee likes that Juuzou is so different from himself. He has the kind of courage and disregard for social niceties that lets him be free in his eyes, and he likes being a part of that

20. How do they comfort each other when one of them is upset? Is this method of comfort effective?

When Juuzou is upset it’s easy enough to handle. Hanbee provides snacks and some target to stab at and that’s perfect. When Hanbee is upset Juuzou doesn’t know what to do, he rarely even notices and just doesn’t understand how to empathize with it. He usually doesn’t do anything and eventually Hanbee just stops being upset, but Hanbee understands that Suzuya is like this and knew what he was getting into. He knew not to expect much empathy, so when Juuzou began occasionally noticing when he’s unhappy and bringing him food the way he usually does for him, it meant a lot

29. Describe their nighttime routine.

Hanbee texts Juuzou tomorrows itinerary for work and to wish him goodnight, then goes to sleep at a reasonable hour. Juuzou is outside wandering streets and alleyways like a feral dog and it is unclear if he plans to go home to sleep or curl up on the ledge if a building. I guess it depends on how he’s feeling

Neither of them drink and it’s for the best. Juuzou doesn’t like the taste and Hanbee doesn’t like the feeling, and it’s good because they’re both absolute lightweights who are utterly useless when drunk. Hanbee blacks out extremely fast and Juuzou tries and fails to climb a tree

39. When and how did they admit that they loved each other? If they haven’t yet, why?

Hanbee waited until they were dating for quite awhile and had been through a lot together before meekly and carefully telling Juuzou he loved him. Juuzou, unaware that they were dating, said “oh cool!” Then resumed talking about vivisection. It wasn’t until two weeks later when he told Shinohara about it that he was informed that Hanbee apparently thinks they are together and he should either tell him they aren’t or get on board with it, so Juuzou decided he liked him and returned it
