I know this word so well, but I seriously cannot recall having seen the kanji for it.

Digiweek 2022 Day 5: Festival (Crossover)

• Build your own Digimon Multiverse by combining characters from different Digimon series.

My fav ladies that have 「姫」 in their names as my favs from "Gintama" that also happens to be a seiyuu's joke plus Higacchi because he's the biggest nerd in the world who I can actually picture being very hyped over cosplays (ง ื▿ ื)ว and Ruri just there to judge~

It's a bit late in the day, but I still managed to make this post on time! It's October 27th today, meaning it's Platinum Berlitz's birthday! Platinum is one of my favorite characters in PokéSpe, she has great development and she's super smart! So smart in fact that her Dexholder title is "The Understander" and she's associated with Uxie, the Pokémon of knowledge. She's also super adorable and I love her character arc, the way she develops from stuck-up rich girl who doesn't associate with commoners to becoming more humble and having a genuine friendship with Diamond and Pearl while also becoming a competent Pokémon Trainer. Every time I reread the DPPT arc of PokéSpe, I always love seeing Platinum grow and try new things on her journey, it's so endearing and inspiring for me. Platinum is easily my favorite rich girl character in any form of media I've ever seen because of how great her character development is, by the end of the arc she's like a completely different person than she was at the beginning.

(Also she's the same Zodiac sign as me, we're both Scorpios ♏)

10.04.23 - Finished making kanji flashcards for N4 and divided them into decks based on how confident I feel about them. Today I have 47 "green" (I know the meanings, onyomi and kunyomi readings for this level), 86 "yellow" (I know maybe half the readings, or it takes me a while to remember them) and 32 "red" (I don't know the meanings or readings). I plan to review maybe 20-30 every morning after breakfast and another 20-30 before I go to bed every night. Today I plan to note down some vocabulary and sample sentences with kanji from the "red" pile (and ideally N4-level grammar), which I'll put into anki decks on my phone to review on my commutes. Got some traditional Japanese sweets (dango - did you think they were grilled meat?) to fuel my brain, and I'm enjoying the spring air too!

I downloaded all the Akira Kurosawa movies I haven’t seen yet, I started watching Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura kabuki, I am going to pick up the Kanji/Czech study book today from a library, I am planning to attend the traditional japanese ink painting classes…

Maybe I am finally getting from the two time rejection depression by the University. Jupiiiiii. I honestly spent everyday thinking about the two times I went there and they acted like I should know everything, made fun of me and so on. Felt like a biggest idiot on the Earth.

I am getting slowly back.

Still thinking abt if the Uni is worth it.

it’s been slightly over 20 days of doing nothing BUT WE RETURN TO OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED LEARNING FOLKS!

anyways today has been a bit of an off day and so i spent most of the day thinking about learning Japanese and memorizing to the point where i can now recognize 46 hiragana characters on sight!

i doubt if u asked me to write out about 70% of these i’d be able to, but still, progress! AND i know phonetics for almost all them :D
