Who are your favorite artists/writers in the community?

okay so it took me a while to answer this because there are SO many that I couldn't even begin to think of all of them. So I'm gonna list some of my favs and likely miss a few but just know that you are ALL killing it out here tbh

I will be the first to admit that I do not read as many fics as perhaps the average snzfucker on here, but I do know some fire writing when I see it and people like @stormyweaver, @feralsneeze, @zensations35, @noses-in-winter, @n0seferatu, @bigsnzstanacct, and @autumnsneezes are always killing it. Some of y'all make amazing wav scenarios as well and I consider that writing and acting tbh!! A triple threat tbh (the third threat is sneezing).

And as for artists, there are so many I love and look up to as an artist who occasionally fucks around and posts indulgent snz art on here as well!! I know I'm just rattling names off but y'all are all seriously bringing such unique but equally hot art to the table. EEEE its my turn to answer this!!!! there's a LOT of banger artists and writers on snzblr but if i had to pick specifically!

i GENUINELY adore @hachiibun's art style SO much like... the coloring, the line work, the everything is just SUPER cool!! like fr it looks parfait flavored i wanna eat it... (plus it's always great to find another S/platoon fan on snzblr heheee) while we're still on art, i ALSO love seein @dampsleeves @kazewohiita and @just-a-nervous-bean on my feed!! writing wise tho rn i'm stupid obsessed over that one fic from @boxofbeezle i was scramblin to find again! like it tickles my brain so good now that i found it again, im totally obsessed with the way they write buildups like it's practically PERFECT also also! i rly love @hockeynoses fics too! genuinely some of the best snz spellings i've seen

Who are your favorite artists/writers in the community?

This is honestly such a hard question. I'll preface this by saying that everyone who genuinely creates stuff for this community is great.

I have to shout out @kazewohiita, I love all their characters and I've commissioned so much weird stuff from them over the years lol.

Similarly, @just-a-nervous-bean for all the amazing art, and accepting my insane nose kink hentai tentacle commission.

@kotyonoksnz is another fantastic snz artist, their work is just gorgeous. I won't go into more detail unless they're ok with it, but I actually randomly encountered some of their non-snz art IRL one time, which was really cool.

@zensations35 is a wonderful writer and audio creator. Like legit they're the premier scenario snz wav artist out there.

She's been on a break for a little while, but @autumnsneezes is another great audio artist too. Both she and Zen have a way of playing two characters by themselves in the same audio but still making it feel like they're actually different people.

I could do this all day, but I'm going to arbitrarily cut myself off at 5 so I can blame some nebulous higher power for not listing literally everybody lol.

Well, I don't actually show colored art here 'cause I don't like how it looks entirely, but this is a special occasion! I've decided to draw Sadalsuud (and a doddley Herrick) two oc's of @kazewohiita I've wanted to draw their oc's for quite a while, since their art is one of the reasons I've noticed (a few years ago) that I enjoy sneezes more than just in a "silly way" (kink awakening, lmao). Wish I did your characters right 💖

I didn't really think of any prompt to make this drawing, but in the end it seems that Sad felt very itchy and therefore urgent to sneeze whatever was bothering their nostrils, moving his arm from side to side, desperate. They manages to raise their shoulder to cover their face at the moment of impact, but it was too late and they sneezed uncovered, quite messy. Then there's mini-Herrick explaining that we should forgive Sad, that anyone should notice that at least they tried their best to cover themselves up even though in the end it didn't work out very well!

That’s where I got the idea for mine, actually…thought I should at least give proper credit! Their bot is also a lot of fun, and quite a bit messier and descriptive. And while mine is only dialogue, theirs involves action as well…I tried introducing actions to mine with…mixed results.

As for making more characters, I would love to! Maybe I can even start taking Chat Bot Requests! Ooooh, that would be fun…

rainstorm ⛈sniffles 😪handholding 💕 Ineffable husbands? C:

(Damnit I love sniffles)  Since I used Crowley in the last one, this time it’s Azi’s turn.~~~~Neither of them had been watching the sky, mostly because they had been gazing at each other for the majority of the walk through St. James Park.  So when the first drops of rain suddenly turned into a down pour, both the angel and demon ran for cover.

“Bollocks to not being able to shield rain with wings.” Crowley grumbled shaking the excess water from his hair.

“That would definitely arouse some looks, my dear.  We’re trying to keep a low profile remember?” Aziraphale replied while brushing the rain off his jacket and straightening his waistcoat.

Crowley made his infamous audible grunt which Aziraphale had become quite taken with over the past few centuries.

“You want to keep a low profile, I’d like nothing more to shout loudly enough so both Heaven and Hell can hear me.” Crowley said taking Aziraphale’s hand in his. “Fine, fine.” He said since the angel was giving him a look, “What about a giant billboard that simply said ‘suck it’, no?”

“I’d rather now.” Aziraphale replied sniffling. He squeezed Crowley’s hand in his.  Even if they couldn’t scream it as Crowley had put, the lovely sense of being with the person who you adored but also loved you back without the the need to keep looking over your shoulder was still new to Aziraphale.

“Angel?”

“Hmm?” Aziraphale looked to see Crowley staring at him, “Oh, I do apologize my dear, thoughts got away from me, what we’re you saying?”

“I hadn’t said anything yet.” Crowley had seemed that faraway look in those heavenly blue eyes, “But you’ve been sniffling considerably the past few minutes.”

Aziraphale raised an eyebrow, “I have?”

Crowley nodded as they stepped onto the street which led back to the bookshop. “C’mere.” He said pulling Aziraphale closer to him, hand still locked in the angels soft one.

“Crowley I...” Aziraphale began but found himself sniffling again. “Bother.” He muttered pulling out a handkerchief that had not been in his pocket a moment ago. 

“This calls for Hot Toddies, I believe.” Crowley said pulling open the bookshop door, bowing slightly as Aziraphale walked in.  The discernible sigh from the angel wasn’t lost on him.

oh that’s hard. i don’t have “favorite” characters, really, i just have characters i fixate on for awhile lmao. so i guess since i just finished my t/m/a listen-through and have maximum soft boi martin on the brain, I’ll answer for him?

🌷 What are they most allergic to? 

dust. he’s got a bit of a pollen allergy too, but the dust is what really gets to him, and he has to dope himself up on allergy meds every day before work. the time he was actually living in the archives was literal hell and he was  always either drowsy or itchy, poor thing

🍄 Covered or uncovered? 

covered, absolutely. i’m on board with the headcanon that martin is a chronic stifler. his unstifled sneezes tend to be fairly loud and pitchy, which always bothered his mother, and she tended to take her irritation out on him so. yeah. stifles everywhere. it takes him a long time to be comfortable enough with someone to sneeze freely around them. 

regardless, though, he’s fastidious about covering his sneezes. he’ll sneeze into his elbow if he absolutely has to, but he prefers to cover with tissues. if there’s even a snowball’s chance in hell that he can get his hands on a tissue in time (or a handkerchief, in a pinch), he will do literally whatever it takes to hold back a sneeze until he’s ready for it.

🌲 Messy? Dry? Both? 

kinda in between? his sneezes tend to be fairly dry (unless he’s sick, obviously), but he always gets sniffly after a sneeze or two, and if his allergies are playing up and he doesn’t have the chance to blow his nose between sneezes they’ll get progressively wetter over time.

grey: how have your preferences changed over the years?

honestly, in the past year i was having a lot of fetishy intercourse, and that made me discover things about myself that i didn’t know i liked! there were scenarios that i read on the blue forum waaaaayyy back when that i enjoyed, but they had a whole new meaning when i tried some of them out. also, don’t get me wrong, i love induced ones from a partner, but i think i sort of got desensitized to it over the past year. kinda sucks!

white: what are you like as a caretaker? and as a receiver of caretaking?

ohhh gosh, well first off when im sick im big baby. i absolutely love to be taken care of. i also love taking care of a partner, i don’t mind doing it at all. i’ll make you food, get you water, give you medicine, and give big snuggles. it doesn’t really turn me on to be a caretaker or receiver of it, but i enjoy it a lot!

❄️ - Accidentally sneezing on somebody?

The second he realizes what he just did he is internally screaming. He offers to clean up the mess and apologizes profusely as he pushes a handkerchief onto the wet spots. If he’s sick, that’s even worse! His fever has him rambling how he probably infected them and he could never forgive himself for getting anybody sick. It usually takes a lot of reassurance that it’s not a big deal and he should just rest because good gracious it took forever to just get him in bed.

💡Describe your character’s nose.

Detective Morgan:

The bridge of his nose is thin and closer to his face with a shorter tip, he’s rocking an East Asian nose profile! There’s dark freckles from the base about midway down which spreads to his cheeks, and his nostrils sometimes carry a light pink tint depending on the season.

Detective Corva:

He definitely has a more prominent bridge than Morgan’s, somewhere in the range of a aquiline mixed with greek nose, since it doesn’t have as high a bump. It’s broad like his face, elongating it with its length and smooth nostrils.

⚠️How sensitive is your character’s nose?

Detective Morgan:

He is highly sensitive, this boy can pick up on a dog’s presence two doors down and be sneezing for the next few hours if he’s not paying attention. He’s especially vulnerable if you brush against it or expose him to strong scents such as spices, cologne, or perfume, his poor nose just can’t take the strain.

Detective Corva:

He’s not as sensitive, it’s not like you can toss pepper in his face and it’ll automatically set him off. He is, however, sensitive when it comes to tempeture shifts and brushing against either his septum or the bridge of his nose. Light touches send him off and because he can’t predict when a sneeze will strike, he’s often helpless to hold it back if someone tickles in the right spot. And tempeture shifts apply to seasons sure, but also places. You know how coffee shops blast the AC and smell of coffee at you? He’ll start sneezing. Walking out of a cold movie theater into a warm night, or vise vera? There he goes sneezing! Not a lot will set him off, but he has his little quirks that make his nose go.
