What kind of kids were they? I mean: well behaved, the quiet one, etc. Not Elio fighting for "Santa's honor"?!! Being cute since chilhood fr 😭💕

safe question, so we can answer this one since we'll probably never write a scene wherein you experience them as kids. maybe. probably. i could be convinced. but, here's what i checked with marina:

percy: he was pretty quiet. bookish, nerdy, even. like, he still is those things but it's less pronounced as it would've been. a real textbook nerd. kept to himself, didn't talk a whole lot and abided by the rules more than he would lead you to believe. the kinda kid you don't have to tell to do his homework or chores and had enough friends to get by in school without being completely alone. you wouldn't have imagined him and elio getting along very well as kids, which makes it a good thing that they met when they got older. percy came out of his shell a bit more and elio learned how to hold onto his base impulses. in an early draft of another scene, you would've learned that he usually helped with the laundry at the kealoha house most days rather than not.

elio: he's pretty much the same guy he is now, just without the rough edges of childhood. loud, adventurous. he would've been the class clown as a kid, who pretty casually blew off advice and said what he wanted to say. he was the kind of kid that had followers more than friends. not because he wasn't friendly because god knows he was, but because not as many people could keep up. leader of the playground kind of a situation. it got cut in an early draft from one of the scenes in the extended demo, but he was the kind of kid that would drag percy out to the ocean in an active thunderstorm, lmao. puberty humbled him, along with other life events that you'll find out about in game.

jamie: surprisingly, the kind of kid that couldn't really sit still. usually kind of in his own head, but not like 'i'm so worried about everything' but more his imagination did a lot of the legwork of his childhood. it's the kind of naiveite that wore off once he got older, but you know. polite, considerate of the people that took care of him and wildly precocious. like percy, but brighter personality-wise? once he got older, he was kind of a twerp to his parents because of reasons. still good to everyone else, but you wouldn't imagine that based off of the stories his parents might've told their friends, haha.

my names tula, and i'm a registered pokémon nurse with a horrible tendency to ramble. i live in unova and do some work here, but i mainly travel to other regions for this.

i am a former member of team plasma. former. my username is ironic because i cope with humor.

i ran away from home at age 14- it's a long story - and ended up being indoctrinated in. i, like many others, were lucky to have a sort of "snap to reality" moment after ghetsis' first arrest, before the formation of neo plasma, but not before i spent 10 years of my life working for him. many people are shocked by how open i am about my experience, but i think its extremely important to talk about these things: if i could help just one person leave this cycle, or keep someone from entering it, then it would make the shame worth it.

i have dedicated my life to helping pokémon, as a way to attone, i suppose. my darling solosis, mini, travels with me, though i must admit she's quite the spoiled brat. to have such an innocent creature love and trust you is the most healing experience someone can ask for, and i acknowledge that i was so very lucky. i had a home to return to, i was able to find work despite my history, and physically, i bear only a scar on my back and a missing finger... also just so we all know i am a natural ginger and i am not going to dye my hair please stop asking thanks

- sapient pokemon interaction is okay! tula will generally believe them. shes seen weirder. legendaries will be met with much more scrutiny, but kindness.

- i keep her age purposefully vauge for "pokemon timeline makes no sense" reasons, but you can generally imagine her somewhere between 26-30, probably.

- shes been through a lot and often copes with humor, which means she tends to come off the wrong way a lot of the time

- though open about her time in plasma, she doesnt like talking about how it affected her

- she speaks before thinking and often posts in bursts do to this

- she has a pretty shitty memory

Career: Bartender at the local Sulani bar.

Romantic Life: Had a thing for Vera Grant for a bit otherwise he hasn't met his soul mate yet - that he knows of.

Parents: Ukupanipo Hekekia (Senior) and unnamed Mother.

Other Family: None

Interesting Tidbits: He has a cat - Mayor Whiskers. He met the cat in BrindleBay and gave him a home after Whiskers' term as mayor ended.

Ukupanipo was instrumental in helping Vera follow her heart and make a choice between Caleb and Dakota.

He is good friends with one of Sulani's lead conservationists, Makoa Kealoha. In fact, Makoa is trying to recruit Ukupanipo into joining him on his quest to continue to keep Sulani's lovely environment *that quest was started by Paka'a Uha long ago*

Due to Vera introducing them, he's become good friends with Rahmi Watson. He knows Vera is trying to set them up but right now he and Rahmi are good with being friends. He knows Rahmi has been through a lot.

He used to spend most of his time at the beach or in the water but he and Mayor Whiskers have been making some trips to Henford-on-Bagley to see Rahmi. She's been teaching him about farming.

hey isa! I recently found your blog and saw you have two legacies. I was wondering if you could tell me the difference between them? I havent read lune but Im keeping up with solis ^^ so I was curious mainly what lune is about. Thank you so much ^^

hiiii, i’ll happily give a very brief summary of each legacy for you. 🥹

lune — elia lune moved from windenburg to sulani. she meets makoa kealoha, they immediately hit it off, have a whirlwind romance but.. he has a secret: he’s married. we follow elia through the fallout. her good and bad decisions. it’s major slice of life, meets telenovela-esque vibes (lol) with island life and garden greenery as the backdrop. (except for the dark days. cough. that’s more so, stale cigarettes and city streets. readers know what i’m referring to, lol.) lune started off as an island living gameplay, and turned into the story based legacy it is today. i first posted lune in 2019, and it’s still in progress. it went on hiatus but it’ll be back this summer.

solis — belina solis is a witch. she comes from a long line of spellcasters. but no one knows. she doesn’t want them to. she inherits her grandmother’s cottage, and is now living in henford alone. her only friend is her familiar, opal. she’s quite a loner and isn’t too keen on trusting others. i like to look at her legacy as a “snapshot of a life” type vibe so far. it’s not story based, but.. well. we will see what i do with it. :)

Lothario Family Rotation 4:

Dina Caliente immediately called Johnny, asking him to visit ASAP. She explained the situation and asked him to accompany her for the birth of her child, since Don is gone for good. As her #1 BFF, Johnny gladly accepted this responsibility!

Dina got an ultrasound and went off to work. When she returned, she found out the sex of her child... She's having a girl!

Dina couldn't stop thinking about how messed up it is that Don gets to have a lover still. She doesn't want a partner, she just wants to kiss someone...

The next morning, Dina went to the community center and bumped into her mom. Without going into too much detail, she explained her pregnancy, and her mom was thrilled! After letting her touch her belly, she bumped into someone new... Nani Kealoha.

Dina is bisexual, but had never found any women she was attracted much to, until now. She couldn't help but give her a compliment, even though she felt upset. Nani flirted back a little, then said, "You look like you could use a hug." The two shared a hug, just what Dina needed.

Nani could tell Dina was in need of some love. She gave her a rare shell she found at the beach and kissed Dina's hands. Dina looked at her, wanting more, so Nani went in for their first kiss. Dina was shocked for a moment, but pulled Nani back in to kiss more.

Dina left the community center feeling happy, and for the first time in awhile, flirty. She took some time to herself and knew that she needs to make some serious changes soon. She doesn't want to keep sulking in the rejection, and wants to have a happy life with her daughter.

So todays complaint about the 808 state is how actually people in authority is still hiding because they teamed up with a group thinking they were superior and could over take the government and then take bribes and change identity aka for witness protection and lmao it was illegally and its an island you can’t run nor hide and sorry the virtual face mask comes off and tbh … you need to do cosmetic surgery if you still tryna live in Hawaii and not leave state … why they never left ? Because look the state suppose to help for when this time comes that people could help detect people location and see who actually is doing the crime . And look the original creators that created corona virus disease and look its spiritual but hard to get evidence of spiritual right so they added effects like noises and voices and an image of the person being or to blame and make like hacking the head by beeping noises but really raping the bodies of humans and thinking its ok. During the next couple of days I’ll be posting some quick stuff about my OCs to catch up with joining here (with reference sheets included)! I’ll start with the first few characters I have. :)

Auratrip - Alien bassist, is one of the best in the galaxy due to the fact that they can keep up with anybody. Met Xander after a (possibly coincidental) spaceship crash near the latter’s house, and the two became fast friends due to being guitarists and sharing the same interests.

Xander Summerfield - Frog guitarist who formerly was in an all-frog jazz fusion band, looking for someone to help him reignite his playing days. Thankfully Aura can help him with that since they might be his perfect match!

Juniper Kealoha - Jellyfish surfer. Taking up surfing since she was little, Juniper has pretty much rode some of the biggest and most dangerous waves you can think of. She also enjoys playing the drums and her half-brother Baxter.

Happy 'Ōpūnui - Venus fly trap beach bum. Literally friend sized, Happy is known be one of the nicest and most care-free guys you can ever meet...however, in boxing it's a different story; in the ring, Happy becomes a big, bad, burly bruiser recognized for his intimidating presence and his powerful punches, making him one of the most feared people to go up against in the boxing circuit.

Alix Reyes - Axolotl surfer. As Juniper’s childhood friend, Alix and her have been very good rivals, but the one thing Alix is good at is surfing, which she'd taught Juniper since they were kids. Another sport Alix excels at is boxing, and she is also known for going against opponents that are obviously stronger than her by a large margin, just so she can always have a real challenge when facing against someone.

Gamo - Alien mechanic. A big anime nerd who somehow dedicaded their passion into modifying personal spaceships, Gamo has mastered the art of modification to a tee quickly, with an example being that their spaceship contains parts "borrowed" from military spaceships and the engine swapped from a drag car. That's probably why Auratrip has became Gamo's best friend since their teenage years, in case Aura needs a fast ride to get them out of a pickle!

Baxter Kealoha - Chameleon camper. Just like his little half-sister Juniper, Baxter also is active in the great outdoors through camping! He's been relaxing and camping pretty much everywhere he can pitch a tent down, from forests to cliffsides to the middle of lakes. And just like his half-sister, he's also getting some surfing lessons from Juniper! Baxter is not the best at riding a surfboard at the moment, but one day he hopes to be as good as her...or maybe even better! Aside from camping, Baxter also has gotten a summer side job as a lifeguard to keep himself busy.

haha, i don't know if how much of it will come up in the game and we don't really know at this point since it'd be pretty far down the line (and we don't want to count our chickens before they hatch), but me and marina were talking just recently about how that, on top of the mixtapes, that they'd just fully send cassettes of them talking to one another while they were dating. spoken love letters, as it were.

and when the kids were born, they recorded tapes for the kids up until they were one or two years old each. just talking about you know how excited they were, how tired they are, what they were doing with them at the time they were recording. so, there's a handful for each sibling that they keep for themselves. his parents almost gave up the idea when the twins were born, but elio's stubborn insistence won them over so they ended up recording a few cassettes for them too.

Friday at 3 PM and it's finally time for baby three! After the most miserable pregnancy (seriously, Ophelia was constantly having angry meltdowns) it's off to the hospital with Ophelia and Lanuola; though Beatrix is disappointed she can't come (again) she gets to hang out at home with baby Ruby and the sitter instead. Lanuola (fresh from work) comforts Ophelia as they wait for the hospital staff to get checked in; dunno why no ones at work 3pm on a Friday, but that's just hospitals for you I guess. Lanuola got caught in the bathroom and had to run so she didn't miss the birth of her third child; being on time was so much easier when Beatrix was born! After another smooth delivery, it's time to say hello to baby Amethyst Hemming-Byrd! Welcome to the--

Wait, there's more?? Welcome to the world, baby Merida Hemming-Byrd. May you and Amethyst always remain close…

Ophelia and Lanuola are going to have their hands full with three new additions to their flock. While they're thrilled to have more daughters, their family planning and floor space have both gone out the window! Can we get a tube-tying while we're here? Before they head home, they get a surprising phone call: Lilliana Kealoha is pregnant again! It looks like their little birds will have plenty of neighbors to play with.

Back at home the babies settle in. Beatrix tries to make progress on her social aspiration, but is already friends with so many people that it's hard. While playing with baby Ruby, Beatrix had the honor of hearing her very first word: "please! She couldn't be more proud. Ruby's mom's begging her to "please" eat her food must have left quite the impression. Bea makes the acquaintance of Amethyst, Merida, and Tourmaline and is very excited to have more playmates in the house. The triplets absolutely will not sleep that night, waking Bea up repeatedly. At some point in all this, Bea gets another loose tooth; hopefully she didn't knock it out climbing in and out of bed. Ophelia briefly loses a star of fame, but she's gets it back just as quickly by sending some expensive violins to her fans. The only casualty is her Emotion Bomb fame quirk but that's quite frankly for the better.

The family heads out to do some work away from home: Lanuola needs to do some mentoring at the gym and Ophelia needs to check the fashion trends at the museum. Little Bea tags along to make some new friends. Ophelia decides the roof the the gym is the perfect place to start a midlife crisis but she's too busy with work and kids to start chipping away at it. Are we maybe looking at a second hot tub joining the household?

While away at work, Lanuola knocks out the last level of her career and is crowned Miss Solar System. Beatrix hangs out at the Community Center with mom and conquers her Aspiration to become a Social Butterfly! Though she's not got much childhood left, she's thinking about trying out her creative side so she can learn how to play the violin mother Lanuola made her. Saturday is also the babys' birthdays! Ophelia makes the rounds aging them up: first Amethyst, then Merida, and finally Tourmaline. They've all developed distinct personalities: Amethyst is Sunny, Merida is Wiggly, and Tourmaline is Cautious. They're all three very different, but they've got the same big smile. Saturday is Ruby's birthday, too! She's aged up to become an inquisitive little bugger; it's going to be hard to keep her out of things! At least they've got some gifts she's meant to get into.

Though it was chock-a-block full of events, Spring is finally over! This was a real midnight-to-midnight experience starting with the birth of Ruby and ending with a quadruple birthday. Hopefully this is the last time I need a two parter; I don't think I'll survive if every season is multi-part in the future. Infant milestones have been giving me huge lag glitches so wish me luck dealing with three of them at once; hopefully my game won't freeze up completely. Anyone know if I can hope for them to pick up milestones at daycare instead?

Individual Report #5 (3/27/23) Weeks 10-11

Whatʻs been happening for the past 2 weeks?

Back at my work place at McDonald’s a few of our co-workers/managers went on trips and I alongside my fellow co-workers have been placed with additional hours. Not too much, been mostly working and it has been good in building up savings and helping pay bills at my home. Yet, the fast food industry is draining especially on Fridays - Sundays. 

Yes more pay, but more time and work and cut-back time for my capstone project. 

Great news! I have finally drawn and colored all my props. Each image has section number indicator. This helps me to keep track how props I have for each stop motion animation video. 

Having a 3 part 2D Stop motion animation series will not and still is not an ease task. I utilized my shortlists and the photos that I have obtained on the internet as both an indicator and visual aid to help represent the researched material being conveyed through the narration. In other words, the narration holds the information from my research, but at the same time there needs to be a visual that accompanies that.

Whatʻs going on for the next 2 weeks?

Now I need to create my characters and color them. Once then, I need to cut all of the props and characters and glue them to card stock paper. Reason for this, so the characters and props are not flimsy. I want to make sure that they’re form and the pieces stay together. More so, onwards to the production phase. At least I am there. 

Hiccups/Hurdles/AHA moments

This is mostly a hurdle, but after work and feeling pooped, I would go eat, spend some time with family, take a nice bath and then boom, lights out for me. One of the things I help move forward, even if it may be considered slow, is reviewing my fellow classmates' progress on their projects. I just need to make sure that I continue to progress and not stay stagnated.

Situation (DH) Skuld currently lives with her mother & stepfather. Skuld visits her father frequently & feels her mother doesn't pay much attention to her since the birth of her stepbrother. Sometimes she wonders if she should live her with her dad but the courts ruled in favor of her mother.

Situation (HU) During the 3 year time gap, Axel & Skuld end up doing ecstasy & they end up sleeping together. When Axel tells Skuld how he really feels, she freaks out & can't handle having feelings towards him. She tells Axel there can't be anything happening between them. She panics & seeks comfort in other men, denying any feelings she has towards Axel. Months later, Axel tells her he just wants to be her friend & they end up sleeping together again. They decide to keep it casual, but Axel tells Skuld later that he wants more with her or nothing at all. After having a conversation with Strelitzia & Xion, Xion tells Skuld that Axel really cares about her. She then decides to start a relationship with Axel.

Right as they finished the ceremony, Nani Kealoha showed up. The wedding was on the beach right next to her house, and she saw what was going on during her nightly walk. Miki Akiyama awkwardly paused and glanced at Nani, not knowing what would happen.

Naenia doesn't typically cast magic around others, but this was private enough. To keep Nani away from her new wife, Naenia cast Inferniate on Nani! Nani was burnt up and complained about the burns. So, Naenia took it a step further...

Naenia froze Nani in place, right there on the beach! Then, right in front of Nani, pulled Miki in for a passionate kiss. That ought to send a message, right?

“Hunk do you ever shut the fuck up —”

“— you see, Lance was born in —”

“— God, it’s like you want to be slaughtered in your sleep —”

“I hate you.”

“— So he’s not nineteen, actually! He’s eighteen.”

“Did you know that if you post your deepest secrets publicly on the Internet, they’re actually more secure than if you tell one Kealoha ‘Hunk’ Garrett? Yeah. Wild, isn’t it?”

There’s a pregnant pause as everyone takes in the newly presented information. Then Pidge turns livid eyes on Lance, who has suddenly abandoned any anger towards his best friend in favour of cowering strategically behind him.

“You mean to tell me,” she seethes, “that I have been enduring ‘baby Pidgeon’ jokes for the last eleven months —”

“Let’s think about this rationally, Pidgey —” Lance pleads, climbing backwards as Pidge stalks menacingly towards him — “I mean, you love me, right?”

“— eleven months of the worst age-related puns I have ever heard in my entire life —”

“Not with Matt in your household,” mumbles Shiro, making zero attempt to stop what looks to be an upcoming slaughtering.

“— and this entire time, you’ve only been seven months older than me? Seven? That’s not even a whole trip around the sun! You trick ass bitch! You mother fucker! You —” she lunges towards Lance, nails outstretched and vicious, causing Lance to scream at the top of his lungs and scramble backwards. Luckily for Lance, Pidge is stopped by a pair of strong arms picking her up by the scruff of her neck as if she’s a particularly naughty kitten.

“I can’t have you murdering one of my paladins,” Allura drawls, carrying Pidge over to the couch and depositing her on it, “as frustrating as he may be.”

“I hope you know the only thing stopping you from murdering you is my unfortunately burning curiousity,” mutters Pidge petulantly.

“And Allura’s biceps,” Hunk adds helpfully. Pidge inclines her head.

“And Allura’s biceps.”

Allura looks pleased.

“If I promise to answer your questions, do you promise to not murder me for the next week?”

Pidge squints at Lance, considering. “For the next day.”

“Five days.”

“Three days.”

“Done.”

“Spill then, pretty boy. I’ve read your Garrison file, and it has a ‘November 12th, 2001’ in shiny black ink right next to your name.” Shiro raises an eyebrow. “I was already in there looking for Matt’s stuff,” Pidge explains without an ounce of shame, “and Lance was a constant annoyance, so I figured I’d see if there was any dirt on him.”

“Fuck you, mayhaps.”

Pidge sticks her tongue out at him. “I have that dirt, too, if you keep being a shit.”

“…Noted.”

“Now get to explaining, already.”

“Alright, alright, jeez.” Lance sends one more glare to Hunk, who is sitting primly on an armchair and does not at all appear to be apologetic (although he does pat Lance delicately on the hand from where he’s wedged in between Hunk and the armrest) before starting his story.

“Okay, so you know how if you shoot a wasp nest’s and stay still they’ll fly right by you ‘cause they can smell guilt?”

Everyone blinks at him.

“I didn’t know that, no,” Shiro says after a moment. Lance flaps a dismissive hand.

“Well, now you do. Anyway. Point is that people are the same! So long as you act with complete and total confidence, you can do anything you want. Anyways. When I was 8, I was bored as hell in class, so I came up with a plan in the summer: the next school year, I’d tell my mom I was being bullied — I mean, I was, but I didn’t really plan on telling her initially — so she’d move me to a new school and I’d just go to whatever grade I liked best and convince everyone else I was supposed to be there. And it worked! Come September, I walked into a new school and I liked the fourth grade class best, so I went there. The teacher, obviously, did not have my name on her list, but I just acted confused and pulled the ESL card and they assumed my mom just made an error on the application. From then on every school document I had said I was born in 2001, and eventually I was in the grade above me for so long I was able to convince my parents that I was born in 2001, too. It helped that I’m a middle child. And then I brought up how, wow, isn’t that crazy, my birth certificate and passport have the wrong year on it. That’s wild. And it turns out the government doesn’t really verify that information past ‘are you sure it’s wrong’ — because who but me would lie about that, honestly — so boom! According to all official records, I was born a year earlier than I really was. My goal was to convince myself, but I could never quite manage it, unfortunately.”

“…So you. Gaslit your way. Into commuting age fraud.”

“That’s one way of looking at it!” Lance agrees happily.

“How did… how did Hunk find out?”

“Because genius over here done fucked up,” Hunk teases. “Lance was a scrap of a kid. When we were — when I was, rather — fifteen, Lance started bitching about being in his last year of puberty and he better have a growth spurt before fall. I was trying to gently break it to him that, in all likelihood, he was gonna be a short king, because his last expected year of puberty had passed, but he slipped up and argued otherwise! And I’m just pushy enough that he spilled. God, I’m so grateful you guys found out, I have been dying to tell someone for years.”

“Found out?!” Lance cries, smacking Hunk repeatedly on the chest. It does not appear to affect him. “You told everyone, you artless, beetle-headed harpy!”

Hunk knocks their heads together gently, sending Lance a sunny smile. “Love ya!”

“…Asshole.”

“Aw.”

“I love you too, jackass.”
