Over the past two days I have been testing KE4 from @ketoneaid and it's effects on sleep. Here are the results. Each night I took 5ml of ester 30mins before bed. The first night was amazing! Numbers increased significantly from my baseline. The second night my sleep score went down due to a lot of waking up. (Thanks neighbors for setting off pre 4th of July firework) but the deep sleep went up even with less sleep overall. With the increase in deep sleep I have never woken up so refreshed. It's the craziest feeling. This earns a recommendation from me for sure. Definitely the most powerful exogenous ketone supplement I’ve experienced. Out of all the exogenous ketones I have used, @ketoneaid is my favorite. . Because of the taste? Nope. In fact, on a scale of 1 - 10 I would rate the taste at around a 6. But, the serving size is WAY led than the usual ketone salt preparation. . What I love about this #ketoneester and #ketonesalt combination is how strong it is and how fast it hits you. I normally notice exogenous ketones effects about 45 min after taking them, but those were all ketone salts. I could feel this kick in after about 20 min. Plus, when testing blood ketone levels they spiked higher with the ester mix in KetoneAid. . I tested this by doing one of my usual CKD carb days the day before returning to the gym for a ketone salt with 6g BHB and the following week with this KE1 that has 5g total. With the regular salts my blood ketones were at .4 mmol/L after my workout. With KE1 they were at .7 mmol/L after my workout. The extra energy in the gym was very noticable, too! 👍🏻. . I am holding a bottle of KE4 from @ketoneaid and will be running some experiments on sleep. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't super excited. This is my first time trying a ketone ester. I have tried many keytone salts out there so it will be exciting to see the difference. You might be asking what’s the difference between ketone esters and ketone salts? Ketone esters are very different than commercial ketone salts, yet, share the same goal which is to increase your circulating ketones. HOWEVER - the biggest and main difference between these and salts are that ketone esters are pure betahydroxybutyrate. Instead of being bound to a mineral like BHB salts, they're bound to a ketone precursor (like butanediolor glycerol) via an ester bond.
