Feeling particularly CRINGE tonight so here’s my. Little ramblings while I’m half asleep

One thing I’ve always adored about Mario is that he is very confident and very self assured, like he knows what he’s doing- especially compared to Luigi who is more timid and whatever (this ain’t about him)

HOWEVER. I just think. It would be really cute if Mario was. Not so confident. Looks at you with my eyes.

‘She fell first but he fell harder’ can I get an amen. What if he is just so smitten with me that suddenly all his confidence is thrown out the widow. It’s gone. It’s over for him. He is red faced and stuttering. UGH. I’m gonna be sick just thinking about it. But wait there’s more.

I just think if Luigi kinda backed him up. Worlds best brother worlds best wingman can I get an AMEN.

He would CONSTANTLY, CONSTANTLY be urging Mario to confess and be honest- not fully understanding why his brother is not his usual, level-headed self. I like the think Luigi is also kind of oblivious/socially inept (autism beam raghhhh) so he would constantly slip up and almost reveal it. Not on purpose of course just like. ‘Oh yeah he talks about you all the time!’

I just think it’d be so funny and so cute and sooo silly if there was just this. Heavy HEAVY mutual pining with Luigi stuck right in the middle- constantly hearing from both of us about how much we like the other. I am going to throw up. Bye. Don’t even look at me.

Also. Also kind of hilarious when you throw in like. Donkey Kong (dk my best friend dk) who would absolutely not let this man hear the end of it. The teasing would be relentless.

I need to bite the bullet and just write a fic. GAH. Get out of my face. Nobody look.

How it started:
