I'm currently taking reservations for Private and Semi-Private art students for the Spring semester.  Private lessons and semi-private art lessons offer you a flexible schedule where you can study the unit you choose at a pace that works for you. If you are interested please let me know so that we can discuss the details.  Additionally this Summer due to the lack of interest in my group art classes, I will only be offering private and semi-private lessons.

Kids Can Draw: Comic Books

• Type of class: drawing

• Description: Learn how to create cosmic comics! We will be making our own mini comic books in this fun, interactive class. Students taking this class will learn the basics of drawing comics, plus cool tips and tricks. Also each student will be encouraged to develop his or her own comic/cartoon characters, and unique style of drawing. Small group instruction. Skill Level, Basic: No prior experience required. All supplies will be included.

• Ages: 8 to 12

• Dates: March 21 – May 23, 2019 (10 weeks)

• Day & Time: Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm

• Class fee: $120.00 (includes $25.00 supply fee)

~ TEENS, 12 to 17 ~

Midnight Monsters

• Type of class: drawing

• Description: Learn how to draw the delightfully devious characters of Japanese comics! We will be covering mysterious monsters including: vampires, zombies, werewolves and witches. Each student will be encouraged to develop his or her own cool characters and unique style of drawing. Skill Level, Intermediate/Advanced: Prior drawing experience preferred. Small group instruction. All supplies are included.

• Ages: 12-17

• Dates: March 19 – May 21, 2019 (10 weeks)

• Day & Time: Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 pm

• Class fee: $120.00 (includes $25.00 supply fee)

~ YOUNG ADULTS/ADULTS, 15+ ~

Adult Watercolor Studio I

• Type of class: painting

• Description: Discover the wonderful world of watercolors! Explore art in a small group setting with other adults. We will have an introduction to basic color theory, discuss brush strokes, washes and more. Learn how to paint using watercolors’ plus some fun tips and tricks. Skill Level: Basic/Intermediate: No prior experience needed. Contact the instructor for supply list.

• Ages: 15+

• Dates: March 21 – April 18, 2019 (5 weeks)

• Day & Time: Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm

• Class fee: $80.00 (NO SUPPLIES INCLUDED)

Adult Watercolor Studio II

• Type of class: painting

• Description: Explore art in a small group setting with other adults. (Taking Adult Watercolor Studio I is a prerequisite for taking this course.) In this class, we have a more in depth examination of color theory, and learn intermediate watercolor techniques. We will also be covering perspective, composition and texture. Skill Level, Intermediate/Advanced: Prior painting experience preferred. Contact the instructor for supply list. Sign up for both Adult Watercolor Studios and save $20.00!
