INTRODUCTION
This blog is a short review of the first module called “INTRODUCTION TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DESIGN THINKING”, which is part of the course ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLIED TO ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING. This module offers topics like what AI is, with a short introduction and brief history of AI. What the basic concepts and resources are; providing the main concepts of AI and certain resources that can be useful. And what Design Thinking is, in which an introduction to Design Thinking is provided; also it is taught how to design a project. I am interested in learning about AI since technology improves every daytime, and we must know how it works and how to use it. Talking about teaching, I consider technology a good ally because we can use it to create interactive and more interesting classes for students. For this first module, I expect to learn about AI, how to use it correctly, and apply it in my lesson planning as it will improve not only my teaching experience but also students´ learning process.

DEVELOPMENT
What were the most important concepts you learned in this module?
Generative AI:
A type of artificial intelligence technology that can produce various types of content, including text, imagery, audio, and synthetic data.
Prompt Design:
It is the process of creating prompts that elicit the desired response from a language model.
Prompt Engineering:
The practice of developing and optimizing prompts to efficiently use language models for a variety of applications. 
Hallucinations:
Hallucinations are issues in the text where outputs may include incorrect or misleading information making it less understandable.
Design Thinking:
Design Thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation that integrates the needs of people, the possibilities of technology, and the requirements for business success.  
How did these concepts challenge your previous understanding of English language teaching?
I consider the concepts overhead significantly challenged my understanding of English language teaching since the knowledge of these and other concepts helps me be more aware of the hard work of teaching. 
It is important to know about AI because we can use it in our everyday work. For example, knowing about Generative AI makes me happy because teachers can create and design different types of content by clicking on an AI program and creating a good prompt. However, we must be clear that it is not just creating prompts since we might not get the expected results; this brings me to highlight the importance of prompt engineering. We must specify what we want, define clear objectives, combine expertise, and which is also important, use a polite tone. Nevertheless, AI is not perfect, so we must be conscious that hallucinations can be present in the results and this can affect our work; for this reason, it is important to design correct prompts to avoid this problem. As teachers, we must be aware of the different situations that can be present in our classroom and affect our students´ learning process. We must know how to identify them and look for a solution, and we can implement the Design Thinking process by generating and developing ideas. To sum up, the usage and implementation of these concepts and processes are essential for creating interesting and creative classes at the same time we create a good environment in which our students feel comfortable and learn every day. 
How do you plan to apply these concepts in your future teaching?
Now that I have gained some knowledge about Generative AI and how it works, I can make it part of my lesson planning because this type of technology will not only improve my teaching process but also help my students learn and feel comfortable. For example, I plan to include AI for implementing new activities with students instead of using the same in every class; thus, students will not feel bored and will actively participate. Besides, as I know that some problems will be present, I will implement the Design Thinking process to overcome them taking into account my students' needs.

Flock 
Atop our shrine unfit for kings
My flock awaits within their town
For feeding yummy seedy things.
That giant there and what it brings
A bowl of meal spread up and down
Atop our shrine unfit for kings.
And here they fly on tiny wings
With earthen plumage mostly brown
For feeding yummy seedy things.
A Jay drops in and briefly sings
A cardinal with its scarlet gown

They glide, they rush, and wheel in rings
Enough to twist the chiseled frown

Nests of twigs, maybe bits of strings
Lawless rebels to either crown
