What happened to Edvin is awful and never should have happened. Remember that actors are humans too and have their own emotions. We shouldn’t be commenting on other people’s bodies, especially teens and young adults. If you do it’s gross. If we want people under the age of 30 to play high school characters, how are we going to protect them from stuff like this? Or what happened to Kit Connor? If we want to create healthy masculinity we shouldn’t be tearing down men for expressing themselves in a way that isn’t harmful, if you don’t like how someone is expressing themselves why do you feel the urge to tell them?? Just be nice??? Because this isn’t just about cis men, this is about non cis masc folks. We should allow people to express their masculinity however they want (and duh in a healthy way, don’t be misogynistic and fall into toxic masculinity). I am so sad for Edvin. Be kind to each other.

to be completely honest one of my favourite things about the young royals fandom compared to the heartstopper fandom is that there is no obvious favouritism. like with heartstopper there is so much love for kit connor/nick nelson (and that’s amazing kit and nick are amazing) while joe and charlie dont get half the appreciation they deserve. but with young royals both edvin/wilhelm and omar/simon get so so much appreciation (as they fuckin should!!!!) and it’s so refreshing for me

Building off of my wlw post, the same thing happens in mlm media as well, just different . (I assume at least I don’t watch that much of it so these are the only ones I could think of) but you cannot tell me these are not the. Exact. Same. People.
