I’m obsessed with the way Laudna says, “Here Ashton, I made you a doll, because you’re a child.” The way those words are so cutting, so derisive.

But then Ashton says, “Thank you. I love it. I’ve never had a doll.” Completely genuine.

And Laudna smiles, and Laudna says, “I love children.”

And even though she was angry, so angry, so angry she thought she might kill Ashton when she saw him. She still made him a doll. And he loves it. And they have such a beautiful conversation.

There’s just something about how that conversation could have been so cold, so angry, but it wasn’t, and I’m obsessed with it.

Ok I can't stop thinking about Chetney and Fearne and Ashton's dynamic.

Chetney and Fearne have canonically fucked (in a threesome!) and have their whole ongoing flirtation thing. Ashton and Fearne clearly like each other and at this point Fearne has told Chetney that she thinks she might have feelings for Ashton, and Chetney was not at all bothered by this. In fact, despite everything that was going on with Ashton in ep 78, Chetney's reaction to this was straight up to say that he really likes Ashton too! And Chetney has, canonically, offered his "sexual healing" services to Ashton. And Ashton's constant needling of Chetney is not not flirty.

Anyways what I'm saying is that every day we get one step closer to Chetney/Fearne/Ashton and I'm living for it.

Every single time the Hells whip out their portable hole to commit some sort of horrifying suffocation crime I'm just like YES this is the best item of all time.

Do you think when Matt gave it to them like seventy episodes ago he had any idea how much use they would get out of it? How absolutely integral it would become to this party's whole deal? Who could have guessed??

God, every time Ashton makes a conscious choice to jump/fall from a great height it hits so hard. Ashton leaping thru the portal to grab Imahara Joe and soak the fall damage… when we know Ashton’s history with falls…. oof.

Ashton and Fearne, rising together from the lake of lava. Earth and fire, the empress and the emperor. Both fated to be there. Neither knowing what they’re doing but going for it anyways. Rad as hell.

Ashton and Imogen’s brief moment just before Fearne took the shard was my favourite bit of this whole episode I think… Holding hands, the kiss on the cheek… “I’m sorry you felt like you couldn’t tell us about your motivations.” “It wasn’t on you guys.” It was just nice.

Not just Laudna counterspelling a NINTH LEVEL SPELL, but then Ludinus FAILING HIS COUNTER-COUNTERSPELL…. Incredible.

God Bell’s Hells is truly the most pvp party of all time. Graduated from pc on pc violence to pc on pc murder.

Absolutely THRILLED that Fearne followed in Fjord’s footsteps with the whole “ill-advised sleeping with the pirate captain” thing.

Obsessed with the little Laudna and Imogen things this episode. Things that absolutely would have happened pre-kiss too but feel even more intense now.

Laudna clapping for Imogen’s kill and saying “she’s very capable!!”

Their “do you trust me?” Aladdin moment.

Laudna’s rage-fuelled form of dread towering protectively over Imogen’s unconscious body.

And of course Laudna Marisha yelling at FCG Sam to “save my girlfriend!!” (And Sam’s disappointment when she said that it was Marisha speaking, not Laudna… this robot wants to know about their romance SO BAD.)

I think the funniest way this bit can go is if Bell’s Hells forget to tell Ashton anything about this whole orgy/porn shoot thing, and then like ten episodes from now the two Ruby Vanguard people who got away run into BH again and are like, “It’s YOU!! The porn gardeners!!”

And the rest of BH is like yes that is us. The porn gardeners. And Ashton is like what the FUCK is happening right now.

Fearne and FCG were the funniest pair to run into Otohan. Just trying to bluff their way past her with the power of acting clueless.

(So glad that banishment worked tho bc they were right they would not have survived that fight.)
