Christian Navarro is actually so good. The way he lets F.R.I.D.A's unique world view guide every single one of his decisions, the way he puts rp before mechanics while still knowing and understanding the mechanics (esp as someone fairly new to playing D&D). His calm and collected demeanor is captivating in a totally unobtrusive manner. He makes bold choices and welcomes the consequences. He invites other players in, approaches them and then makes sure to communicate how his character feels about conversations or plot developments, giving them more personal weight. He is adaptive but never to the detriment of his character's authenticity. It's honestly kinda a masterclass in being a guest player at the CR table, or really any kind of player in any kind of ttrp game.
“There's also part of a small, not even a journal, but a series of of heavy, treated vellum pages that are bound together and these are heavily notes on pages of what looks like they were torn from a religious tome or a book and there are circles around certain sections and notes talking about temple propaganda, talking about inconsistencies and elements of religious rites that are contradictory.”-Matt
"it hasn't decided what it wants to be yet" me @ this formless terrifying multilimbed collection of eyes and teeth and extremeties and mass: haha me too buddy
Thinking thoughts about Imogen and Laudna escaping through backstreets from angry mobs, one of them pining the other to the wall as the people pass by, pretending to be a couple with bated breath until they are safe.
