there are so many aspects of kmfdm that make them my fav band; them being German, industrial, having the coolest fucking album covers known to man kind, the self references and well hidden jokes, the genuinely good messages (looking at you the problem)...

but I think my fav aspect by far is that their just kinda the drool band at this point. I've started listening to kmfdm in late 2020 and it influenced me so much and with it my writing of drool. Her being rebellious, aggressive, in you're face but there is also a tragic side to her character. Whenever I need character inspiration for drool I put on my kmfdm playlist and just sit there and listen. If I had to describe in a couple words what droolpaw, as a concept, sounds like I would just point at kmfdm's discography

- “KMFDM is a favorite of mine” he said in his 25 things essay.

- He writes the song title "Kein Mitlied"

- He writes the lyrics to the songs "Son of a Gun", “Waste" and "Stray Bullet”

- Eric quoted Anarchy in Nate Dykeman's yearbook

- He also quoted Dogma in Dylan's yearbook

- Eric wore a black KMFDM shirt for their 1997 album and tour “Symbols”.

A crazy coincidence, the album “Adios” was released on April 20, 1999, the same day as the Columbine massacre. Adios, meaning “goodbye”, is eerily reminiscent of how 15 people died, including the two shooters, who were fans of the band.

RAMMSTEIN

- Like with KMFDM there is evidence Eric translated lyrics to the following Rammstein songs: Du Hast Du Riechst So Gut, Engle, Guilty, Herzleid, Kokain, Heirate Mich, Buck Dich, Tier, Bestrafe Mich, Klavier, Wilder Wein, Weises Fleisch.

- Eric also had a Rammstein sticker in the rear window of his car and had a Rammstein T-Shirt on in his Junior year school picture

- Eric referred to the Nine Inch Nails song “Closer” in his journal during a rant about wanting violent sex with a woman, and that it was the "perfect song for me" in November 1998.

- Dylan quoted the lyrics from “Beautiful” by the Smashing Pumpkins. He also owned their album “Siamese Dream.” (Fun Fact: Eric disliked the Smashing Pumpkin, and jokingly referred to them as the “Ghashing Bumpkins”).

- "Rammstein" is mentioned in Dylans journal. One of the boys purchased "Stripped" CD.

- Dylan writes "KMFDM - Brute" in his journal. He also wore a KMFDM shirt for their album XTORT in his “interview.”

- White Zombie - Black Sunshine: Dylan writes that this song should be played over the "hate" section of his website.

- They Might Be Giants - Particle Man: Dylan wrote for it to be played over the "hacking" section of his webpage

- Alice In Chains - I Stay Away: Dylan wrote that this was to be played over the "other cool mus." section of his webpage.

- 2Pac - Hit 'Em Up - the lyrics are written (incorrectly) in Dylan's school planner.

THE MARILYN MANSON DEBATE

Did Eric and Dylan actually listen to Marilyn Manson? Friends of the two boys have denied that they were fans of his. And while there is no actual evidence to suggest that they did listen to his music, Dylan did have a poster of him in his room.

“Mrs. Klebold indicated that Dylan had a poster of Marilyn Manson and that she asked him about it, and in particular asked him what it meant. Dylan had told her that it didn't mean anything and that he didn't really listen to lyrics of Marilyn Manson music, however, did listen to the music.” (Columbine; Jeff Kass).

Additionally, Eric apparently did sometimes listen to Manson, given that he had written M.M- initials in his journal.

This behaviour seems kind of odd for people who “weren’t fans” of at least SOME of Marilyn Mansons music, but I digress.

on august 28, 2022, ethan blair miller (pictured above) opened fire in a safeway in bend, oregon. miller killed two people before turning the gun on himself.

miller kept an online journal on the website wattpad, named ‘the downward spiral of ethan miller’. this was in reference to the nine inch nails album, the downward spiral. miller was a known fan of this band, as well as other bands like KMFDM and disturbed.

unsurprisingly, miller had a fascination with the columbine shooters, eric harris and dylan klebold. however, miller undoubtedly had a preference for klebold; his wattpad username was wrathofman22, and the shirt he wore on the day of the shooting was reminiscent of klebold’s ‘WRATH’ shirt during columbine.

in his journal, miller described his fascination with the columbine shooters, his anger against COVID-19 restrictions, and general rage against society. he blamed COVID-19 for the reason he was so isolated.

miller was heavily influenced by harris and klebold, and he’d originally planned on attacking his old high school—mountain view high school—but decided that he “couldn’t wait” for school to start again and instead attacked the safeway he’d been formerly employed at.

on the day of the shooting, miller was armed with an AR-15 style rifle and a shotgun. he was wearing an outfit very reminiscent of the columbine shooters—featuring black pants, black combat boots, and a t-shirt with the word ‘HURT’ across the chest in bold, red letters.

at 7:04 PM, miller shot 84-year-old customer glenn edward bennett at the west entrance to the safeway.

as miller moved further into the safeway, he was attacked with a knife by 66-year-old donald ray surrett jr., who was an employee. surrett attempted to disarm miller after stabbing him with a produce knife, but failed, and was shot to death. surrett stabbing miller potentially prevented multiple other deaths.

at 7:08 PM, miller was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Hello Tumblr, I am XxReiyuuxX, mutuals and close friends/irl friends may refer to me as Noah or Alejandro. (Ask if uncertain). I am a self-taught artist who plans to make either a comic/book or animated series based on my OCs. I will mostly post fanart as well as art of my OCs, since most other social platforms don’t fw me too much.

Moving on… I will give a brief TW here… One of my OC stories (which remains unnamed for now, as it’s still in progress, lol) contains mature themes and has elements that are not necessarily appropriate for younger audiences. If you are sensitive to mature content, you might want to avoid anything tagged with “Mexicats” since that is the tag I will be using to keep it organized. I’d like to thank @fakeblondehoe for the makeshift title. Since that’s what he started referring to those 1800’s cats as.

Art related to my other OC story will be tagged with “CatTales”. This story is a less serious one, full of typical fantasy tropes and cliches. It has held a place in my heart since I created it, and despite its simplicity, I cannot seem to scrap it.

Any other art will be tagged with what it is related to. Which will mostly be fanart or different animal species practices. Or gift art for mutuals and others.
