It's a real shame that no version of the "Knights and Knaves" puzzle is attested to prior to the late 19th Century, because it probably means no actual pair of castle guards ever pulled the "one of us always tells the truth and one of us always lies" routine just to fuck with people.

And the whole setup is just a trap to capture escaping logicians. None of the doors actually lead out.
Labyrinth Puzzle [Explained]
Transcript Under the Cut
[Three guards with spears stand in front of three doors. Black Hat and Cueball stand in front of the guards.]
Black Hat: And over here we have the labyrinth guards. One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.

It’s interesting that the words “knave” and “knight” both evolved from Old English words for “boy,” but they are still so different. For instance, only always lies and one always tells the truth

SATBK doesn’t get a whole lot of I’ve and I find highly offensive that people don’t jump on it. Catch my drift?
Hon, Sonic and the Black Knight needs a lotta love. It had an excellent story, gave us some badass moments with the Knight of the Round Table (Sonic kicks ass in high heels. Like… damn girl), a sassy letter opener, and showed us Sonic’s moral compass. He’s definitely a person with a heart of gold that helps people with a drop of a hat, and okay with playing the bad guy if it means saving everyone. This is a great representation of his character.
If you like Sonic and Arthurian tales, then you’ll definitely love this game!

Arlebina royalty AU, they're in love but gotta be secret
Arlecchino had just arrived from yet another long, yet successful, mission. After writing a quick report on her mission, she tiredly made her way down the halls, night checks were still needed and was always slumped onto her.
She was head knight for a reason, many men and women would gladly take the knight's hand in marriage, but she would always decline. In her eyes miniscule things like romance were unnecessary, foolish even.
Some would say she had a stone cold heart, calling her heartless when she would accept their proposals. None of those comments ever bothered her, but one thing always stood out to her, hiding in the back of her mind as if it were a lost player in a maze.
' Do you love anybody?'
She couldn't answer that question, ever, because Arlecchino herself didn't know the answer. Before she could ponder any longer a melody broke her thoughts.
It was the same thing every night, a low humming followed along an alluring tune. The sound was addictive, the melody was comparable to a siren's song, never failing to lure the knight into it's trap.
As the knight followed the tune she was led out into the garden, she was a mouth following a flame, but instead of a flame it was the sweet voice of the princess who instantly made eye contact with the Knight when she came into her line of sight.
The princess was simply ethereal in the knight's eyes, how she wish the princess would sing to her every night. But their meetings must be kept secret, it would truly be scandalous if a princess were to marry a knight, the mere thought of the backlash Columbina would receive put Arlecchino's urges to a stop.
The moonlight only highlighted the princess's features, drawing the knight in only more. How she wished Columbina were her's and her's only, no pesky suitors in there way.
' My knave ' Arlecchino felt as if her heart were a butterfly, it's wings fluttering whenever Columbina called her that.
It was special, between the two secret lovers. ' Yes princess?' Arlecchino knew what Columbina was wanting when she patted her hand on the space beside her on the bench.
The two sat together, an odd sense of peace between the two as Columbina untied Arlecchino's well kept pony tail, running her hands through the knight's hair, it was oddly soft.
' I'd prefer if you had short hair.' Columbina muttered as she smoothed out Arlecchino's hair with her hands. ' Is that so?' Arlecchino slyly replied, looking back at the princess.
' It looks like a rat's tail' The ongoing joke between the two, that Columbina started when the two's midnight meetings took place. Silence fell between the two, only too be softly interrupted by the familiar humming from Columbina as she continued to use her fingers to brush through her mistress's hair.
When the two separated, Columbina leaving the garden first, Arlecchino watched the princess walk off, presumably to her room. The question broke it's way back into her mind, but this time she did have an answer.
Columbina was the one she loved.
