thoughts on Keeper. after reading it again.
this is still one of my favorites. Like, top three in the series, 10/10, for sure.
but here are my thoughts in a periodically sarcastic and screechy format:
Oh my gosh I'm so in love with 29% untraumatized Keefe you don't understand how beautiful this boy is and how wholesome this child is and I would like to just pick him up and give him a hug so badly
Here's a great idea! You find a child. You take the child home. You run no medical tests on the child. You give her no information or crash course about the culture she's now living in. You wave goodbye. You keep secrets from her. She gets kidnapped and is presumed dead! You cry at her funeral. Congrats! You are now Alden Vacker and every other STUPID. FRICKING. ADULT. IN THIS BOOK.
Okay, but seriously, Sophie didn't know she was breaking the law. She got two tribunals for breaking laws she didn't know existed. They never once took that ignorance into account. Like stars, it's your stupid fricking rules that have stupid things forbidden(like?!?!?! Stars?!?!?!? in the sky!?!?!?! That are clearly locatable without special!?!?!?! Equipment?!?!?!?) and Sophie is brand new leave her alone stars.
I honestly think the best cover for Alden Vacker being Neverseen is going to be the fact that his son is Neverseen. Anything that can be traced back to his family or even Everglen can be shifted off onto Alvar.
MARELLA??? SO MUCH SASS IN THAT LITTLE GIRL??? HOW??? Also, she's got so much fire in her so naturallly I can't believe no one thought "ah, a Pyrokinetic".
Fintan. What is u doing. There's an actual line where it was like "Fintan supported the banning of pyrokinesis" like hell he did yeah totally that's def why he's plotting to overthrow the elven government now yep was totally on board with all that
Man, Stina really is just Heather Chandler in a child-friendly package. Like, honestly, SHUT UP HEATHER.
Dex, your mother is a froster, stop talking about how stupid frosters are. And y'know what. Queen Elsa of Arendelle would disagree about the usefulness of frosting btw. So get rekt.
GRADY. EDALINE. TAKE A DEEP BREATH. BREATHE. NOW ADMIT YOU LOVE YOUR ADOPTED DAUGHTER AND STOP STRANGLING HER AND JUST LOVE HER. DEATH HAPPENS AND IT HAPPENED TO YOU AND NOW YOU NEED TO LOVE WHAT YOU'VE GOT BEFORE YOU LOSE IT AGAIN AND--
Elwin you do be makin so many jokes about seeing Sophie again I'm beginning to think you're a prophet.
Cassius can still go die in a hole <3 uwu
Biana why do you pale when someone mentions how your dad forced you to be friends with Sophie. If it's defemation and easily explained you don't need to freak out that much, sure it's embarassing but why did you react like that.... Stina's full of it we know she is so honey-- u good, Bee?
Hi I'd Like To Stress Again How Stupid And Pointless The Attempts At Integrating Sophie Into The Elven Society Were Every Single Adult Involved In This Situation Was To Blame How Dare You, by Fall Out Boy.
Oh wow she got her inflicting in the first book i forgot about that
Sophie Foster is going home guys and everything falls apart later this book would have been less satisfying but still pretty good as a stand alone if Shannon Messenger had unfortunately passed away

I just know Grizel cares so much about Fitz.
She's known this boy since he was 14 (?) and she's watching him grow up.
She's hung around him for years, day and night.
She's eavesdropped on his conversations, and she was there for all of the aftermath of Alvar's betrayal.
She watched his world fall out from beneath his feet first hand. She heard the whispers that followed him everywhere he went. She watched his shoulders fall.
She probably watched him bake treats for his friends. She probably watched him cry and grieve. She probably dragged him out of his bed and showed him how to work out to get out of his head. She probably reminds him to eat, and to get some vitamin D. She probably listens to him pace his bedroom well into the night. She probably listens to him talk to Mr. Snuggles when he's really overwhelmed and just needs a friend who won't judge him.
She'd die for this little sad, short-tempered baby who has done nothing wrong ever in his entire life. And her heart aches for him. For the way he can be surrounded by people, but still be so lonely.
She probably knows him better than most people just off of observation alone.
idk man. we never talk about it. and the friendship angst/potential is immaculate.

after fitz cools off a little bit about sophie and keefe being a thing, he should drop tidbits about keefe (mostly during trust exercises) that he thinks she might find helpful since they're dating.
the thing is, instead of just stuff like, 'keefe loves frogs, so he might appreciate a gift or trip related to them, idk' he also drops things like 'btw if you just hold his hand in your hands - specifically towards the back of his head, just behind his ears - while you're talking to him, he'll probably melt haha. also his scalp is sensitive, do with that what you will, but make sure you're gentle'.
bonus points if sophie asks keefe about why every single tidbit fitz gives is correct and he goes tomato red for the first time ever and sputters out something like 'i gave fitz the lord of the snuggles title based on personal experience - he's clingy when he's tired, ok?'

Y'all wanted the presentation? Here's the presentation. Image descriptions are below the cut!
(technically this wasnt part of the assignment, which was "write an essay and read at least one full page to the class" so the reason why there's those huge blocks of text is because that is taken directly from the essay. i can condense things if I WANT to condense them)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: 15 screenshots of a powerpoint presentation. The text is either white or gray, and the theme is various shades of purple, typically with bubbles of dark/light purple and images.
Slide one: Title reading "Keeper of the Lost Cities: A Love-Hate-Love Relationship, And What It Can Do To Your Psyche" with three images on the side. The first image is a meme of two stick figures, the first saying "kotlc lore is second nature to us rabid fans so it's easy to forget that the average person only knows the average special ability count and one or two vackers", the second figure saying "and valin, of course," and the first saying "of course." with text at the bottom reading "Even when they're trying to compensate for it, experts in anything wildly overcompensate the average person's familiarity with their field." The other two images are of Shannon Messenger, a white woman with blonde hair. The images are captioned "The dastardly mastermind behind it all" and "meet Shannon Messenger".
Slide Two: Title reading "Background" with a block of text and two images. The text reads "In total, the Keeper of The Lost Cities (KOTLC) series has over 7000 pages, split between nine and a half books (Book 8.5 was, uselessly, a novella) with a planned tenth coming in late 2024, and a graphic novel dropping in November. It’s the kind of series that hooks you the same way a fisherman hooks a fish: with a promise of a treat that goes very, very unfulfilled." The top image is the cover of the first keeper of the lost cities book, captioned with "book one of what will soon consume my entire brain for years and years and years" and the bottom image is a fish staring at the top image as if it is a tasty treat, captioned "Poor, innocent little 6th grade me".
Slide Three: A block of text reading "This is to say: KOTLC is a good series, at least at first. It’s certainly been my core obsession for a good (or bad) five years. It’s a hook because you can’t escape once you’ve begun. It’s my own personal brand of heroine, as Edward Cullen might say if Bella were a too-long book series that doesn’t resolve any plotlines or character arcs and instead piles more information on top of worldbuilding until contradictions are more plentiful than the packed main cast." An image of Edward Cullen from twilight is captioned "Me, apparently".
Slide Four: A small caption at the top reads "If the series ever ends you can call me Brant when Jolie asked him to leave the Neverseen the way I will burn down my house and kill everyone I love (haha just a joke to get us going)" with an image of a huge explosion below it. Text reads, "Basically, KOTLC is a good series, but the idea of recommending it feels like I’d be violating several articles of the Geneva Conventions. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. The thought of it ending is an impossibility on the scale of the apocalypse and I hope (I'd rather) the world ends before this series does."
Slide Five: Titled "Queer-Coding in the Lost Cities" with the image of Sophie Foster and Fitz Vacker on the side. Text reads, "The queer-coding doesn't just stem from Sophie’s dedicated denial of both her worth as a human being and her desire to kiss her pretty girl friends. A connection called a “Cognate Bond” is often referred to in the text as the closest two elves can become, emotionally and mentally. Cognates exist when two Telepaths (such as Sophie) have such a deep and unbreakable trust bond that they become more skilled together than they were apart. In creating and maintaining this bond, they have to complete trust exercises and not hold back secrets keeping them from total confidentiality. Sophie’s cognate is her friend (and love interest, and, debatably, ex-boyfriend) Fitz, whose romantic relationship was in a large part focused on their cognate one. Their trust exercises involve staring into each other’s eyes, holding hands, having matching rings, and Fitz telling Sophie that she’s the only person he can truly trust. Fitz also asks his father at one point if cognates are allowed to date each other— his father affirms the statement."
Slide Six: Titled "Queer-Coding: Qualden, Tiertice, and such other 🤨🏳️‍🌈 moments" with the text, "Notably, Alden has the authority to do so since he himself was a cognate, only undergoing a nasty breakup— sorry, only losing the bond after his cognate, Quinlin, kept too many secrets. It’s implied that two other characters were once almost Cognates, only to grow too far apart when one of them, Prentice, has his sanity forcibly shattered and is locked in prison, leaving his (gay lover) best friend, Tiergan (code name Granite), to raise his son. The choice to parallel Fitz/Sophie, Alden/Quinlin, and Tiergan/Prentice was possibly not a conscious one, since Messenger has never attempted to hint at the existence of homosexuality before, but it still resonates with hundreds of queer teen readers who look at the portrayal of utter devotion and trust between two men and think, wow. this is what i see in myself." The image is a quote from Neverseen, reading "'What did you give him?' Granite asked, cradling Prentice like a baby. Prentice's head lolled to the side, his body limp and pale." / "Granite held Prentice tighter, whispering, 'It's going to be okay.'"
Slide Seven: Titled "Honorary Errol "I have five identities and they're all the true me" Forkle Mention". Smaller text below reads "Strut it Magnate "I inspired Loki but don’t even ask about the horse thing" Leto!" A picture of Mr. Forkle is next to a tumble post by me about Forkle being trans based on the Loki thing. The slide is decorated with several trans flags.
Slide Eight: Titled "Beauty Standards" with text reading "Speaking of things Shannon Messenger did subconsciously, it’s so painfully clear that this series was written by a white American woman that it makes me break out in hives. Messenger establishes very early on in the series that all elves, no matter who they are, are gorgeous in comparison to humans. For some reason that I’m sure has no correlation to Sophie and therefore Messenger’s personal biases (aka Western hetero/cisnormativity and gender roles), every single elven character is slim with clear skin and no glasses. For some reason, beards seem to be impossible for elves to grow naturally, since the only time facial hair ever appears on anyone’s face is when they take an elixir to change their appearance." An image of Sophie with her human family is captioned "Sophie with her ugly nasty disgusting human family apparently".
Slide Nine: Text reading "Valin is a member of “the drooly boys” who, had they been “human, would’ve been skinny, with acne and braces. Since they were elves, they were fairly good-looking—or they could’ve been if they hadn’t slicked their hair into greasy ponytails” (Messenger KOTLC 170). It seems elves have evolved past the need for brown eyes, acne, crooked teeth, facial hair beyond eyebrows, and variations in body fat—not to mention most other features that make people unique. There is indeed a single elf who is fat and even has wrinkles (elves also don’t physically age past 30, fun fact). He alters his appearance with berries that swell his skin, making him the only unique body type besides Sophie’s human family, who are consistently thrown in terrible comparison to her new, movie-star-looking adoptive parents. The berries also make him smell, interestingly enough." Images of Councillors Zarina, Terik, and Clarette line the right side of the slide.
Slide Ten: Text reading: "By portraying the elves as the standard for beauty and then removing any pimple, stretch mark, fat roll, body hair, crooked tooth, big nose, or any of the thousands of features that add depth to faces and bodies, Messenger tells us that perfection lies in eliminating all “flaws.” She tells her young readers that they are desirable if they look like Sophie, or Biana, or Keefe—not Stina with her curly hair, or Dex’s too-skinny arms, or Forkle’s large stomach, or my human body." The family portrait of the Vackers is also there.
Slide Eleven: Text reading: "Mostly, what defines KOTLC is how it’s interpreted rather than the content itself. I look at Sophie Foster and see parts of myself, but that does not make her me. These characters always feel so painfully real, desperately relatable, as if Messenger cobbled together a main cast from bits of my life, but they are not. In the end, they are just characters. In the end, it’s just a series made for middle schoolers, in the same way the sun is just the sun, and the stars are just there to twinkle merrily and not to be explored." Sophie on the cover of Exile is also there.
Slide Twelve: Text reading "Literally the day after I finished this presentation a new Marella short story came out in the paperback version of Stellarlune (book 9). This is a quote in the short story:" with a picture of the short story of Marella being gay about Linh. Also on the slide is "🚨🚨🚨Alert Alert!🚨🚨🚨" "🤨🤨🤨🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️" and "Everyone is excited about Marellinh canon but I think she will simply never acknowledge it again."
Slide Thirteen: Just the text "Oh, By The Way, This Series Is Off The Walls Insane"
Slide Fourteen: Text reading "Things that happen in this series: Alicorns have sex and then there is a graphic birth scene (but the Forkle as Loki thing is going too far 🤨), Love Interest confesses his feelings by telling Sophie he wants her to be assigned to marry him by the government, An ogre bodyguard plays matchmaker with her charge and his crush (successfully), There's a guy who can sense "potential" except is definitely lying about this, Villains die so disappointingly. So far we have "hit on head with rock" "smushed by door opened too quickly" "exploded" "fell into evil birthing sauce" (this last one was cool though), and A school principal becomes president" Three tumblr screenshots and memes detailing other things that happen in the book are also there.
Slide Fifteen: THE END. A screenshot captioned with "Credits for the fake book 7 cover go to @/aphelea on tumblr" shows a canva/booktok style fake cover for Flashback, with a dancing couple, a horse, and the words "he was a boy. she was a horse. could I make it any more obvious?"

I'm Nobody, who are you?
stars guys i really wanted to have a thing done for this because ;-; its my tiana prompt
but life decided to fricking kill me
so here
enjoy this
whatever tf it is
Just the basic plot to some sort of fic i'll never write in all its entirety, ig ;-;
Tam Song is a love at first sight kind of guy. He sees Biana, and it's over for him. He's a fool, he's never not been a fool, and it's so odd, in his head, how his cheeks burn and his mind starts screaming.
Biana isn't the type to fall in love instantly. She'll love, instantly, because she's a person who thinks that you can love everyone, if you try, and she wants to show everyone that Vackers can be kind, not just beautiful.
But the thing is, Tam figures Biana out pretty quickly. She's the invisible child, and he gets it. Stars, does he get it. His parent's eyes always slipped past him and his sister, like they were one person, interchangeable, purposeless. So he sees a girl who fights to be seen and his mind instantly thinks, She's just like me.
And it's kind of dumb, he knows, but Biana doesn't care. She smiles at him brighter, and he makes a choice to hang out with her, to overcome the nerves that blister in his chest, to fight for the both of them, to love as much as he can.
They start dating in secret.
Of course they do, because neither of them want the consequences of dating out in the open.
Biana's parents would throw a fit, she whispers, one night, as they walk around Lothlorien, the forest city, hand in hand, hoping no one will recognize them. Tam answers that his dad would never let it go, make him break up with Biana on principle.
So they don't tell anyone. Why would they? They're happy, content, and fine as they are.
They sneak off to different places, but no one in their group is the wiser. After all, Sophie's sure that Tam's got a massive crush on Biana, but is too embarrassed to act on it.
Keefe knows they're dating. You can't lie to an empath, and he's insanely good at picking up cues.
And it's good. There's a safety in it, a gentleness.
They're kids, you know, so it's not super serious. They're taking it super seriously, though, as all teenagers do, with their most important relationships.
Biana lies, constantly, to her family, keeping people in the dark.
Tam tells Linh the truth. Someone needs to know, and Linh smiles, softly. She tells him they make a good pair.
The years pass by, war wages on, and they stay together. Through scars, through kidnappings. They hold each other's hands when they get the chance, in battle, and pretend like it doesn't destroy them to have to let go.
The first time they kiss is when Biana pulls Tam's hood back from his face and holds his face until she's sure he's alive, and as soon as he wakes up, she kisses him like there's no tomorrow.
Tam holds her like he's scared to let go.
"Don't do that to me," she wept, pulling back, "Don't you ever die on me, Tam!"
"I'm sorry," he answers, softly. "Didn't mean to scare you."
She kisses him again, and it's all a blur, on the burning battlefield.
"Uhm," said a voice, from behind them, "You two ready to get out of here?"
Shocked, the two turn and see the entire crew staring at them.
And there's a sort of terror that settles in their bones. Because behind their grinning and laughing friends, dusted with smoke and kissed with blood that didn't belong to them, Alden's behind them, and Quan is somewhere, and it's going to be so hard to explain this, and it's never going to be the same as it was.
They get up, quietly, holding hands, tight as they possibly can, their grips so tight they shake.
And they go home.
They let go at the last possible moment, clinging to the hope that they won't have to say goodbye.
Alden sets his hand on his daughter's shoulder, and they leave, first.
He gives her a talking to about matches, one that echoes in her head, richochets through her mind, about how she can never ever be someone other than what he wants her to be, and when she sits on her bed, her hands shaking, she wonders if she'll ever be free of who she is.
Tam hails her, later, and laughing, a little hysterically, tells her that his dad was actually super excited about the two of them together, because maybe it meant that he'd be going places, and doing something legit with his life.
And it's just a bit much. Everything's a bit much. Biana cries, and Tam asks if she's okay.
"My dad reacted exactly how I'd expected," she whispers, into the imparter. "There's no way this can end well."
Tam is quiet, on the other end. After a long moment, he asks, "Do you want to... break up?"
If you listened, quietly, you might have been able to hear Biana's heart shattering.
"I mean," Tam says, "If you can't date me, and you don't want to like," his voice shakes, a tiny bit, "deal with it, and you want to break up, that's..." he trails off, painfully, "I don't mind."
"You don't mind?" Biana's voice is a whisper.
Tam is probably crying. But Biana isn't sure. "If it's for the best," he says. "If it's for the best, and it's what you want, I'll be... I'll make myself be okay with it."
Biana is quiet, for a long, long, long moment.
Tam waits. He always waits. He never makes her fill the silence, never makes her be more than what she already is. She loves him, she loves everything about him.
It's that stupid, naïve thought, that makes her say, quietly, "I don't want to break up with you."
He exhales, sharp and hot, and his voice is trembling, slightly, when he says, "Really?"
She nods. "Yeah. I want to love you for as long as I can. Maybe forever. I don't know. But I can't stop loving you yet."
"But, your dad---"
"He'll have to deal with it. Since when does he---" she exhaled, sharply. "He doesn't care about me until I do something wrong, anyhow. I'd much rather love you than care about what he thinks about me."
Tam chuckled, a little bit. "Here me out," he said, then. "We keep dating in secret?"
"How?"
"Tell them we broke up. And just. Keep doing what we were doing?"
Biana blinked. "That.... that could work."
Tam snorted. "I'd like to be able to shout that I love you from the tops of the roofs, but if you want to avoid it. I'll sacrifice shouting to the world if it will make you happy."
Biana sighed. "You're too good to me," she said.
"Hey," he said, "I definitely am not. You deserve much more than I can give you."
"But I don't want to be loved by anyone but you," she said, softly.
Tam exhaled, slightly. "I don't know whether to be flattered or concerned."
"Both is good," she said. "And I don't want to date in secret. It's only gonna get worse from here on out."
"So?"
"So," she said, softly, "You're my boyfriend. We're dating. Let the whole world know."
"Okay," Tam said, softly. "Okay," and then he leaned close to the microphone. "I'm dating Biana Vacker," he told her, very seriously.
"That's not very effective," she said, "You haven't---"
"You're my whole world," he said, a stupid grin on his face, and her cheeks lit up.
"You're silly," she said.
He grinned, "Because I love you." He kissed the camera lens, on his phone, and then glanced at his door. "I think that's my father. I've got to go. I love you," he whispered, again.
"I love you," she said, louder than he did. His whole face lit up.
He hung up, and the world was quiet.
Biana went to bed, and stared at her ceiling, knowing that everything would be okay, as long as Tam was on her side.

Kay so I already posted this a month or so ago, but I find it very applicable to the fandom rn
The lore in Nightfall is actually insane. You're telling me that hundreds of humans went missing, and when the Elvin Leadership did NOTHING the humans revolted so hard-core that ya'll really had to DISSAPERE from their knowledge? "But it was to keep the peace!"
Nuh uh.
If you REALLY wanted peace you would have actually looked into the disappearances. That would have been waaay easier to pull off than erasing hundreds of minds and flibbety-dippen SINKING an entire city into the ocean. Despite Elven egos, I think that the council got scared. That's right. The humans you call dumb and violent SCARED you into hiding.  We ugly, weak, and untalented things decided enough was enough and you couldn't handle it.
What's extra crazy is the fact that the Elvin world has everything in their pockets OTHER THAN THE HUMANS. You're telling me that we idiots rule the Earth while you lock yourselves and others away?
An even crazier thing is that Elves view themselves above everything, even if they won't admit it at the get-go. Ogres really are pissed about it. They are CRAZY strong but also incredibly intelligent. The average elf understands nothing about Biochemistry (other than extreme exceptions such as Lady Candace) yet Ogres have things that can wipe out entire species and put Elves in endless comas. "But the Neverseen used the sedative so they understand it!"
Nuh uh.
They stole the research from the Ogre scientists. (Or made a deal with the king I honestly don't remember at this point). They NEVER would have pulled that off without them. And guess what? Ogres are a generally violent species as well but the Elves keep them around. (Albeit on a short leash).
The humans have a similar situation. Many times in the books a human story, invention, or belief is brought up only for someone to smugly say "They get that from us", or "he was inspired by ME". I believe there was also a scene where someone talks about how human "help" organizations were terminated because the information shared with them led to dangerous inventions. Don't you guys just love it when Elves claim credit for all good ever done by humans? But as soon as a nuclear power plant or bomb is mentioned (crazy complicated crap) it's suddenly the nasty humans and their dumb, violent minds. *insert eye-roll* Which is it? Are we smart or dumb? Are WE responsible or are YOU? Ya'll can't cherry-pick. Elves also pretend that they have control over humans, yet you can't stop an invention from destroying a Japanese City and ending a devastating war that killed more Jews than the average Elf could comprehend? If humans are so terrible, THEN WHY HAVEN’T YOU STOPPED US YET? WHY DIDN'T YOU KILL US WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE? oh that's right, you're too scared.
My final thought: The fact that HUMANS are what Vespera chose to "study". Why not Ogres or Trolls? Were humans the easier target, or was there some other reason? The fact of the matter is that Humans and Elves are more similar than either of us would like to admit. Ogre's minds are too different than an Elf's. Human minds are only different in the sense of how loud they are.  In fact, that's arguably the most important difference between us. We humans are loud, we feel intensely and love like nothing Elves would understand. For we love for our short lives while they wander on for eternity. The only reason we can handle violence is because we have to fend for ourselves. Elves have protectors and little green people to do their dirty work. Humans have to live through thick and thin, slavery, war, loss, and heartbreak. When Elvin minds shatter, our minds find ways to make it through. Lose someone? We make up afterlife after afterlife and history shows different religions arising when the general public needs a way to work through their violent and tiring lives. But maybe we AREN’T so different. The characters presented as able to handle violence/are inclined to it either had to suffer violence and neglect, lived through endless years of times before the treaties and the council, or spent time with humans. Take Fitz as a prime example. Bro legit beat the shit out of Alvar and trapped him in goo to die. NOTHING IN THE BOOKS SHOWS FITZ FEELING ANY GUILT FOR THIS. Hm...seems like a very "human" thing to do.
The real reason Elves fear us is because we're just an untethered form of themselves with shorter life spans and a lot less to lose. We feel more deeply, more “violently”. As the books go on the Council itself is presented in a more kick-butt way as they finally step up to Vespera and the horrors she caused.
That sounds a lot like The Humans of Atlantice.

wanna talk abt like keefes anger and the way he handles it
bc like there are very few instances in the series that keefe is like outwardly angry outside of his own pov. being raised in an emotionally abusive family can fuck you up real bad in the way you handle your emotions, thats without even putting into account the fact that hes an empath. like, that environment where you're constantly forced to push down any negative emotion because you know itll just make things worse for you, it can cause you to let it out in unhealthy ways, often times towards yourself.
i feel like he has so much anger and rage inside of him that he is forced to keep inside and he would rather ruin himself a hundred times over than let it out on someone he loves, and i have no doubt hes terrified of it. hes terrified of himself, of the thoughts and feelings that he has. and im trying really hard to like keep it in cannon and remember whats actually real but i know he has said that he, and i quote "has a major dark side" and that violence and blood doesnt really affect him the way that it does other elvesthe way its supposed to. some people just, are like that, they have dark, bad, violent thoughts, especially mentally ill ppl or victims of abuse. and on keefes side, his dad is a shitty abuser and his mom has killed enough people to be considered a serial killer, i dont think it would be a surprise if he himself had violent thoughts like those, thoughts and feelings that he doesnt act on but theyre still there.
idk what the point of the post is i just have thoughts that i worry are too obvious but then when i say them here ppl like them so ✨anggggsstt✨
