You might have seen it already but, there's an official Wrathion plush now!

I saw. He's adorable and I'm sorely tempted. I just wish they'd made him years ago when I was really obsessed with the character. Oh well, I had a very cuddly dragon plushie (the "Merlin" one by Douglas Toys) that was "my" Wrathion.

I should probably update this blog with the status of my interest in WoW, since it's been a long time.

I wish I could say I'm back in love with Warcraft, but I'm not. My subscription ran out several months ago.

TL;DR version of the part below: Not feeling the WoW love anymore. Wish I was. I'm not really on this site much these days, either. This blog will continue to exist, just with very few updates unless I suddenly feel the spark again. I've been doing original writing instead these days. Hope everything is well out there in Tumblr-land.

Due to changes and crap at my job I didn't have any PTO left to take like I normally do for Blizzcon, but I'm just kind of numb about the franchise these days so I honestly don't think I would have taken it off, even if I had the option. Which is depressing, because that was a tradition for me as long as Blizzcons have been livestreamed.

Shadowlands just plain killed my love for the franchise to such an extent that even a dragon-centric expansion couldn't revive it. I wanted it to so, so much, but if that didn't do it, nothing can. Maybe I shouldn't blame SL completely, though, because I'd been playing since vanilla and that's a long time to be deeply immersed in any fictional universe. Maybe it was just time. I don't know, but it still makes me sad that I can't get dopamine from WoW anymore, when it was a sure-fire supplier for so long.

I'm not 100% ruling out that I'll get back into the game at some point in the future, but I'm not feeling it these days.

This blog isn't going anywhere. I have literally thousands of posts, hundreds of screenshots, and many years invested here.

However, my motivation for Tumblr kind of fizzled at around the same time my WoW love did, so I haven't scrolled through my dash in ages. I sometimes will search for a topic or see a post I like as I pass by on my way to update the blog for my original universe, @kavrillia, so once in a while I reblog something to @skarletterambles, my off-topic/multi-fandom catchall blog, but even that's pretty dead these days.

I've spent most of my leisure time writing, editing, and drawing for my original universe these days--which I'm enjoying a lot, but nobody else is familiar with it so I'm basically doing it all for myself.

*insert self-deprecating joke about how not many people read my WoW fics so what difference does it really make*

Anyway, sorry if this post is a downer. Like I said, I wish I still got the enjoyment out of the Warcraft franchise that I did for so many years, but I can't force my brain to feel a certain way. I hope if anyone actually read this far that they're still having a lot of fun with WoW. Thanks for following my blog!

Kaz is more open to being affectionate to Chase

They often take turns but it would be mostly Chase who would be the little spoon

They would argue about how dumb they can be when they are out in the field — especially if one had gotten hurt

Playing card and board games

For Chase, he adores Kaz’s smile so, so much. For Kaz, it’s basically everything on Chase but if he had to choose one he would choose his smile

They like how both of them because stubborn which can cause some minor arguments between the two of them

They both do but Chase does it more often while Kaz does the cleaning up

Kaz because simply Chase wasn’t around people till he was about 13/14 years old

Kaz, 100%

Both of them actually but decided that they would wait till they are ready (mentally and financially)

They share their snacks but not their meals

They collect things together and to a normal person the things they have collected is ‘nothing special’

had a dream that someone won a zoom call with dan and phil, and part of the deal was they could ask ten questions and dnp HAD to tell the truth (idk how this worked at all i just know the winner filmed it and released the vid and that was the premise)

anyway they asked about how it is navigating their personal relationship vs public / what it's like having so much of their public and professional identities entwined with someone they also have such a close personal relationship with / do they ever get tired of each other since it seems like their whole lives are together constantly and if any of it has ever caused Real Problems in their personal relationship

and dan gave a super thoughtful answer about boundaries and always putting their personal relationship first above all else, and how their priority has to be each other and what they have together. if it all ended tomorrow, if their 'fame' was over and no one cared about them anymore, the question for dan is 'what would i want?' and he said the answer was 'my life with phil. if i never do another cool thing again it would suck but i would be fine bc id still be with phil. and we both know that at the end of the day we're going to choose each other over everything else.' which he said makes the public relationship not affect the personal bc he knows nothing can touch that ever.

which was all very sweet and very genuine and the whole time phil is nodding along and agreeing, and he suddenly starts laughing and says 'nah, i don't know what you're talking about, we're just coworkers' in that 'can you believe someone said this' tone and everyone had a good laugh

then the person on the call apologized for maybe overstepping and they said it was fine, everyone knows what it is and dan especially will take any opportunity to yap about their relationship

8/10 wish i knew more of the questions asked BUT it was very sweet and i want to write a fic about it

Let's analyse the hexcore!

Its potential functions and powers, how it affect Viktor,

AND WHY IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VOID

The hex cores abilities are a bit unclear, but I believe there's a clear progression of its corruption and a hint to how Viktor will use it. AND I SWEAR IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VOID, shimmer didn't infect it. (This does not contain info from the le*ks in any form.)

Firstly the core does not influence Viktor, it is rather a vehicle for his obsession, his strange relationship to it began even before it consumed blood or even before it was built, he started seeing and hearing things after the council meeting. (I will talk about more why that happened and why at the moment in an analysis i make on him later.)

The weird purple flesh-like imagery begane before it even consumed shimmer, because it's not connected to the void, but it's what arcane magic looks like when it is contaminated with flesh. We can see this when the inside of his leg is shown.

Yes it already effected him in some way after the core absorbed his blood, as Heimer noticed he did become more energized, but most likely cuz its started attuning to him, jayce journal mentioned how crystals attuning to people but it isn't explained in detail.

Yes, the core started working more reliably on flesh after it got into contact with shimmer, but since the second time viktor tried to use it, it was not present. I believe what changed the core further was the consumption of more organic matter, not shimmer.

This is why it changed form the second time. The shimmer was only important as far as making viktors body malleable enough to get it working the first time. But that begs the question why it got more reactive and easier for it to change people?

I believe the answer to that is because, well it absorbed more of it, but secondly the writing on it got muddled, it is no longer programmable or bound by them like Viktor originally wanted it but works on its own accord. it is less controllable.

This is further supported by the fact that where it corrupts can not be bound by runes anymore, that's why his hand got changed not his chest, now it corrupts by contact and it became unstable enough that it does it with anything that contactach with it.

The only time the core actively does something to viktor is when he threatens it, and even now it only does it to his body. It began to have a mind of its own now, but beforehand it didn't show any signs of deliberately influencing him.

After skys death there's an odd shot of his leg, crackling with energie, I think that was foreshadowing of how he started to become attuned to the core enough to be able to channel some of his abilities and energie.

So I believe this is why Viktor was touching people in the trailer. Now it changes by contanc reather by being abel to restrict where it influences the body with runes. And now he is able to channel the cores power.

From this we can suspect that he will use the rod from his design to control the arcane energie already inside him, or to control the cores energie directly, because in itself it is uncontrollable.

And that's how he is going do lightning and possibly some magic.

Seokjin & Grace - Wear You Like a Necklace

It was common knowledge in BTS and their team that Jungkook was the favourite. He was the apple of everyone’s eye and when it came to his noona, he was right up there at the top of the list. Jungkook’s own love for his noona was evident in the necklace Grace always wore - a long thin gold chain with JK in gold pendants. The others had moaned and whined that they weren’t part of the necklace or part of any other jewellery Grace wore but they understood the special relationship between JK and Grace. 

For Seokjin, who had playfully exclaimed that Jungkook was trying to take away Grace from them all, wasn’t worried about being part of the necklace. The emerald band on Grace’s middle finger that he had bought her awhile back was also never taken off and her wedding ring finger remained free for the day he got the courage to buy the ring he had been thinking of. 

But still, at the back of his mind, there was a little niggle that JK had the necklace.

However, fans soon noticed there was an addition to the jewellery Grace started to wear when she was promoting her first proper album, In My Head.

‘Has anyone noticed that there’s a new necklace Grace has started to wear?’

‘Does she still have the JK necklace or has she replaced it?’

‘I can’t make out what the pendant is!’

That’s all ARMY’s were commenting under the recent Instagram post on Big Hit’s page where they had shared a new still from Grace’s recent photoshoot for her tour. It had people scrambling across the web trying to find the right necklace that matched what they were seeing in a blurry picture and even the most dedicated Instagram account’s who could find what BTS were wearing in an instant were baffled. 

A month later, everyone got their answer when Grace appeared for an interview with a magazine. 

“The necklace?” Grace asked, as if unaware she had been causing nothing but headaches for everyone. “I’ve got my JK necklace that Jungkook got me for Mother’s Day,” she said as she held up the pendant.

“And the other one is a recent addition,” she continued as her fingers touched the pendant in question. “So in one of my songs, So It Goes, there’s a lyric which is ‘wear you like a necklace’ and Seokjin always reminds me that I don’t wear him like a necklace and the only thing I have is my emerald band so basically, to shut him up, I got this designed.”

The camera zoomed in on the necklace in question which was another gold chain, slightly thicker, but the pendant was the most special part. A round blue topaz, the birthstone of December, which was the size of a penny and on the other side it had KS which Grace revealed to be as obvious as it was: Kim Seokjin.

“So now I wear him like a necklace and I’ve got the ring.”

“But not the ring we all want for you,” the interviewer pointed out while pointing a finger to Grace’s bare wedding finger.

“Not yet, nearly there.”

though it's a basic bitch answer, my gut reaction is Book of Love by Peter Gabriel. it's a beautiful song but what really did me is the original Scrubs finale. i have cried everytime ive watched it.

and I have never stopped thinking about it. Every time I hear it I just stare off into the distance for awhile because I relate so hard. I get lost in who I would be and what my life would be like if I were ok. I think about all of the choices I've made that have lead me to where I am, and I wonder who I would have been if a healthy person had been in charge back then. I think about what my life is going forward now that I am mildly healthier than I was then.

and also When We Die by Bowling for Soup, because time passes no matter what and they're right, we do not get it back when we die, so we have to take chances and fix things while we can. Whenever I listen to this one I get caught up in my own mistakes and all the things I wish I could change in my life.

I was re reading your lestapiastri(dont know if u wrote that right) series, which are ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFULL. The dynamics, the plot ,the backstories, the SEX

Ohhh so more brain food. Perfect. Let's dissect this. Charles being gone would be the end of the world. For Max and Oscar. They both have similar protective behaviors when it comes to Charles. They share a look as they are gearing up for the rescue mission. A look that says far more than either of them were able to articulate with words. An understanding passes between them that no matter what happens, Charles at least makes it back alive. At whatever cost.

Oscar's chest feels hollow thinking about potentially loosing Max while trying to get Charles back. But the thought of losing both of them while he himself is left alone and standing, is even more unbearable. He and Max had an understanding. They loved each other fiercely. That was undeniable. Either would be willing to lay down their life for the other, but Charles would always be the priority at whatever expense. Even if that expense ended up having to be one of them.

Max knew that Oscar understood what he was asking of him. He knew that if something happened to Max that Oscar would be next in line to lay his life down before anything could befall Charles. Max search Oscar's gaze for any ounce of uncertainty. He found nothing but pure determination and an upending desire to bring Charles back to them. Max hoped they all three would be curled up in the bed behind them before the sun was due to rise the next morning.

Max leaned into to grab Oscar by the back of his neck. He pulled him forward to rest his forehead against the youngers. Oscar's eyes flickered around searching for answers Max couldn't give him. Questions Max himself was avoiding at all costs. Questions about Charles' wellbeing. If they were going to be able to complete their mission with a 100% success rate like with the fall of McLaren.

"I love you."

The words were quiet in the dark of the room. Words the two of them didn't exchange with each other as Charles did. Words they knew to be true without them having to be spoken. But they were words needed in this moment. Words to ground the two of them. Oscar's hand move to grasp at Max's wrist. Grip a bit too tight but not enough to have Max jerking away from him. Oscar kissed him them. Slow and deep. Eyes squeezed shut, hoping to hold himself together as his heart threated to shatter to pieces within his chest.

"I love you too, Max."

The hungry gleam of the chase had made its way back to Max's eyes. He was ready. They both were.

"Let's bring him home."
