I’ve recently started taking to posting my MMD piccies like this more on Tumblr rather than DeviantArt, and the latest in my line of them is something I whipped up last night in preparation for the in-universe birthday of perhaps my most iconic (and my very first) OC from my writings. i wanted to buy myself a new perfume but then i got one from megan :). it’s ellis brooklyn sweet which really does look exactly perfectly like something i would choose for me if i was my friend lmao. she ran some notes by me because she wasn’t sure (nor was i) about the pear notes but i’ve been really hoping to find some perfumes that are different from what i already always wear, and pear sounded perfect. i like! it’s very powdery so it hits my desires even though it is different for me. it also smells milky. the only other milky perfume i have tried is kyse fichi e panna, which is cool but can get a little much. i could have sworn either kilian or juliette has a gun had a milky perfume that i tried once, but i can’t remember...

but i still need a sample of dior poison to decide if i want it. that would be the perfect bottle to buy myself imo.

i recently finally wore the one wear sample of the rare and coveted viva la juicy sucre given to me by @clowneyelashes and regretfully...it’s better than i could ever have dreamed and now it’s gone forever. there’s something really perfumey about it on me, unique compared to any other “sugar” fragrances (and i have so many!!), that i can’t place and can’t seem to figure out based on the reported notes so i can’t even really replicate it :(

also i need to relearn how to wear perfume because nothing lasts that long on me anymore (except as always for la vie est belle, which is almost destructively sticky)

🌼- What are you attracted to in people personality-wise?

Like said before, it’s the whole picture of person that makes me attracted or attached to them. Yet, at least with fictive people, I’ve noticed that if they got overflowing amount of energy, cheerfulness, maybe slightly naive and lots of positive vibes, all these in just right way, they will be very fast my faves. The person that has ability to make me feel like them through emphaty, usually hyper and happy, are the greatest.

Mistä on kyse? What is this all about?

Vuosia merenneitoja on pidetty mystisinä ja pelottavina olentoina. Heidän näkemisestään ei kukaan ole palannut kertomaan elävänä. Mutta miten käy, kun merenneito rakastuu kuolevaiseen? Tämä on häneen tarinansa.

Meri on minun, Herainian, sarjakuvaprojekti/lopputyöni Muurlan opiston sarjakuvataiteenlinjalle, jossa opiskelin lukuvuodet 2014-2016.  Työ toteutettiin ajalla joulukuu 2015 - tammikuu 2017. Työn oli tarkoitus tulla valmiiksi jo ennen kouluni loppua toukokuussa 2016, mutta sarjakuva oli paljon suurempitöisempi kuin mitä osasin odottaa. Tämän vuoksi koulun loputtua jatkoin projektin loppuun, vaikka se vaati minulta töiden ohella paljon vapaa-aikaa. Idea tähän sarjakuvaan lähti jo vuoden 2015 keväällä, kun olin ensimmäistä vuotta opiskelemassa Muurlan opiston sarjakuvataiteenlinjalla. Saimme tehtäväksemme valita jonkun taideteoksen, jonka inspiroimana tekisimme muutaman sivun sarjakuvan. Itse valitsin Sandro Botticellin maalauksen "Venuksen syntymä" ja päätin tehdä parin sivun sarjakuvan merenneidosta. Lisänä minua inspiroi tanskalaisen satukirjailijan H.C. Andersenin Pieni merenneito-satu, koska se on lapsuudesta asti ollut suosikkisatuni. Tykkäsin merenneitosarjakuvastani sen verran paljon joten päätin, että jos toisena lukuvuotena tulee joku pidemmän sarjakuvan projekti, tekisin tämän sarjakuvan alusta loppuun silloin. Toisena lukuvuotena sitten ilmoitettiin että tehtäisiin pidempi sarjakuva lopputyönä ja se olikin sitten kiveen hakattu että toteuttaisin Meren sarjakuvanani. Tähän sarjakuvaan päätin ottaa sitten ison haasteen itselleni ja päätin, että sarjakuva tultaisiin värittämään digitaalisesti. Osaksi tästä syystä sarjakuva valmiiksi saaminen kesti kaueemmin, koska digitaalinen piirtäminen ei ole nopeudellisesti vahvuuksiani. Samalla tämä sarjakuva on ihan ensimmäinen sarjakuvani, jotka toteutan alusta ihan loppuun asti. Yksi syy, miksi minulla oli palava halu saada sarjakuva valmiiksi, vaikka koulu loppui, oli että sen teema on ollut hyvin lähellä sydäntäni. Käsittelen tässä sarjakuvassa omia sydänsurujani ja henkistä pahaa oloa, jota olen kokenut elämässäni. Sarjakuvan teko on ollu kuin terapiaa samalla sitä tehdessä ja mitä kauemmin sarjakuvaa piirsin, sitä enemmän hahmot tulivat minulle rakkaammaksi. Sarjakuva on minulle itselleni hyvin tärkeä ja sen näyttäminen teille on minulle suuri asia. Toivottavasti mahdollisimman moni edes hieman nauttisi tästä tarinasta! ^^ - Herainia

For years people have told that mermaids are mysterious and scary creatures. No one has returned alive from seeing them. But what happens when mermaid fall in love with a mortal? This is her story.

Meri is my, Herainia's, comic project/ diploma work in Muurlan Opisto's folk high school where I studied in 2014-2016. I did this project from December 2015 to January 2017. This work should had to be done in the end of May 2016 but the project was too big to get done before that. When the school ended I promised to my teachers (and myself of course) that I will get it done, no matter how long does it takes. The idea for this comic came up in spring 2015 when we did one little comic lesson in my first year of Muurlan Opisto. We had to chose one old painting and do a little comic which was inspired by painting. I picked up Sandro Botticelli's beautiful painting "The Birth of Venus" and I get inspiration to do comic about mermaid. Danish H.C. Andersen's fairytale "The Little Mermaid" was also big inspiration for doing that comic because The Little Mermaid has always been my favorite fairytale. I liked my mermaid comic so much. I decided to do that comic from the beginning to end if we have to do long comic in our second year. Well, when teachers said that we will do one long comic for diploma work, I immidiately told that I will do this mermaid comic. I decided to get one big challenge for myself for doing this project and it was coloring the whole comic in digital way. It is not my strength at all but I still wanted to do it. That's why it took so long to get this done because I'm so slow with digital drawing. And of course this was my very first comic which one I made from the beginning to an end. One big reason to get this comic done was that this comic's theme is really important to me. I handle in this comic my heartbreak feelings and mental bad feelings what I have had in my life. Working with this comic was like therapy to me and that's why it was so important. Meri is important comic for me and showing it for you it's important for me too.
