I have a pretty big issue with most of the fancast for the marauders, but mainly with Remus' (forgive me, I pay him the most attention since he's the light of my life). Truthfully, I never liked Andrew Garfield as the *unofficial* fancast of young!remus... or as Remus point blank. Although I do like him as a human being and as an actor, and agree in that he's absolutely gorgeous, I don't think he captures the essence of the character. No one ever did... not quite.

Now, as an Argentine it is my duty to communicate how I've never seen anyone more similar to the depiction of Remus John Lupin that I have than Esteban Kukuriczka:

I feel like I don't even need to expand on the topic. This is Remus Lupin from now on.

Watch Society of the Snow or any other of his work, which you can find on YouTube mostly, and listen to his sweet, gentle yet firm, voice to further my point.

La Seine and I

Jaune picked up the guitar and strung a few familiar notes, and he remembered a song that he once heard in a movie he had seen when he was just a young boy. "She's resplendent, so confident~! La Seine, La Seine, La Seine~!" Jaune sang, playing the notes. "I realize, I'm hypnotized~! La Seine, La Seine, La Seine~!"

"I hear the moon, singing a tune~! La Seine, La Seine, La Seine~!" Gillian chimed in, "Is she divine, Is it the wine~? La Seine, La Seine, La Seine~!"

"I don't know, don't know, so don't ask me why~! That's how we are, La Seine and I~!" They sang together "I don't know, don't know, so don't ask me why~! That's how we are, La Seine and I~!"

"I feel alive when I'm beside~! La Seine, La Seine, La Seine~!" Gillian sang with a sweet smile.

"From this angle, like an angel~! La Seine, La Seine, La Seine~!" Jaune sang as she looked at her

"I don't know, don't know, so don't ask me why~! That's how we are, La Seine and I~!" They sang once more, "I don't know, don't know, so don't ask me why~! That's how we are, La Seine and I~!"

"Upon the bridge~!" Gillian sang

"My heart does beat~!" Jaune continued the lyrics

"Between the waves~!"

"We will be saved~!"

"The air we breathe~!"

"Can you believe~?"

"Learn to forgive~! Upon the bridge~!" They sang in unison.

Gillian smiled as she started to dance and twirl in the sand, like a ballerina as Jaune continued to play. Jaune smiled as he was mesmerized by her elegant footwork.

"That's how we are~! The Seine and I~! That's how we are, the Seine and I~!" They continued. "That's how we are, the Seine and I~! That's how we are... The Seine and I~!" They finished together.

Jaune set the guitar down as he smiled at her, "You know that Song?"

Gillian giggled, "I heard a couple on the street perform the song back in the City near a local cafe I used to frequent, I asked them to play it whenever I came by and told them I'd pay them for it, and they were happy to oblige," Gillian told him. "I didn't know you could sing,"

Jaune chuckled, "Well, I'm not good at it, but if you liked it, guess that's something," Jaune replied.

Watching the episode of the morning after Betty's bd made me realize that I really like Betty and Aura María's friendship. They're opposite and compliment each other very well. Aura Maria is audacious and straightforward, loud and unfiltered, and won't hesitate to risk her own skin for Betty. Betty, on the other hand, is calmer, much more discreet, and thinks it through a lot more before getting her claws out as to do it in the mot efficient way possible (through her influence with Armando, most of the time). She's also reluctant to go out there due to past experiences, and Aura Maria gives her the push she needs.

AM is also Betty's confidant. Sure, Nicolás is too, but there's something so nice and beautiful and magical about sharing your biggest happiness and secrets with your girl bestie that, although I mean no disrespect to guys, it's simply not the same with guys. There's simply not this female shared experience. She also never revealed anything Betty told her. AM is very unfiltered, and won't even think it before basically yelling in the hallways any sort of detail that most people would consider private (ex. When Freddy had to stop her multiple times every time she started talking about their intimacy the night before), and yet she knows this is Betty's privacy and didn't even allude to it to the rest of the Cuartel.

She gives Betty relationship advice and no doubt gave her the confidence to try the grounds with Armando to see if he wanted her as well. The simple fact that she tried speaks volumes of her confidence increase, which I don't doubt was also a bit of influence from AM (ex. The whole chat about how if [Betty and her bf] both loved each other it was natural for them to be attraction and that Betty should take the first step)

In addition, it wasn't until this rewatch that I noticed that AM is the only one who doesn't diminish Betty for her appearence. Just look at the opening sequence again. Everyone looks at her with disgust, except Aura Maria. She invited her to a double date and made sure to take her home safe. She tried to encourage her to be more open and to be more forward with the dude from the date, and even advised her on how to improve her appearence (taking off Betty's scarf, for example) and her flirting. Sure, it wasn't the best of advices, but AM told her what had worked for her and genuinely wanted to help her.

In the Letter episode (where I'm currently at in my rewatch after years of neglecting the novela lmao), you can see Aura María's face and she truly looks worried and distressed for Betty.

Overall, I would have loved to see more of their friendship before th Change!

((i know it may seem like I hate AM based on my previous posts, but no, I just dislike how she handled her relationship and how much she ignores her responsibilities. She's actually the best friend from the Cuartel that Betty has, and she's definitely the kind of friend that will encourage you to talk to your crush and help you get pretty for a date and tell you the greatest gossips and overall you'd have a fun time going out with her! In other words: she's an amazing friend and I like that aspect of her))

Difference in reasons aside, Patricia, Aura Maria, and Jenny all target men with money with the idea of forming a relationship with them and those men taking economic care of them. The difference between Jenny and Patty/Aura is that Jenny is more realistic in her targets and carefully chooses men according to their level of devotion to her, not according to how much money they make.

Jenny knows she'll never get a Calderón or an Armando to leave their lives and devote to her and give her everything she wants. She knows those men will promise her houses and yachts and jewels but will probably only give her a nice dinner every once in a while. She isn't looking for a one night stand, after all, and she knows that's all they will give her. So instead, she looks for Efraíns and Freddys; men who have very little, but everything they have is for her. If Freddy or el Cheque have a $5, they'll get in debt to give her $10. If it takes Freddy to waste a whole week's salary for her to eat well, or if it takes Efraín leaving all his responsibilities and basically commiting the crime of child abandonment, so be it, they'll do it just to give her heaven and earth. Do you think Mario, Daniel, or Armando would invest in her modeling courses like El Cheque did? Or leave their partners for her? Or advocate for her inside the company like Freddy did? Nah, and she knows this. Freddy and Efrain, on the other hand, would drop anything in their lives for a woman like her and she will have a guaranteed economic security.

It's a big but short lived source of income vs a small but long lived source of income (well, at least until her narcissistic pride and idiotic hatred for Sofia pushed her so hard that Sofia responded in kind and ended up ruining Jenny's career and cheque. Deserved btw)

Jenny's a gold digger too but at least she was smart (er) about it lmao

And no im not arguing for the morality or likeability of Jenny, she's one of the most annoying characters in the show for me, im just saying that with this rewatch I realized that at least she's better at being a golddiger lmao i hope this isn't controversial
