For my favorite Steve 🥰💙🖤 (Fools Rush In)
29. Describe their nighttime routine.
30. What are their respective love languages? Do their love languages work well together?
38. Who’s got a quicker temper?
Questions are from this ask game and about this post-Endgame AU with Steve Rogers x lab tech!Reader.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
29
There's no TV in your shared apartment because there are so, so many monitors on the compound. Steve likes some peace and quiet, to listen to records or the radio, or simply to read. Nighttime offers less drawing inspiration than daylight outdoors, but occasionally he'll putter with some sketching. That's harder to do while sitting right beside you on the couch, or while you lay with your head in his lap (and vice versa). Even if Steve reads, he has one hand on you, resting. In fact, he particularly enjoys books on tape because you two can snuggle and just relax.
This is your time to chat about the day, too, but since not everyday is very exciting, being present is enough.
All that is done in the living room because Steve is a bit of a purist in what you do where. Eat at the table. Relax on the couch. Sleep in the bed. Do not eat in the bed; that's not what it's for. Weird old fart...
It's fine to get sleepy on the couch, but it's very rare to stay asleep there all night.
For the most part, bedtime routines in the bathroom are separate. There's a His & Her's sink in the master bath, so if that's all anyone needs, you brush teeth and wash face side-by-side.
Steve starts out laying on his back with you curled up against his chest and hip. He does progressive relaxation to force his muscles to release tension from the day. He's so bulky now that this is crucial. It helps elongate his spine so when he does turn over to spoon you, Steve is properly gelatinous to mold around the back of your body.
Sometimes, if Steve can tell you're not asleep yet, he'll start humming your song, and he enjoys that he can hear your smile when you chuckle and wiggle deeper into his hold.
He runs hot, so Steve prefers a fan on in the bedroom which serves as low, white noise. He doesn't mind if you need a thicker blanket, however, he just mostly likes the air circulation.
30
If it's not obvious from Steve's nighttime routine, his love language is quality time. He appreciates the quiet moments you spend with him more than most celebrations. Time is precious to Steve Rogers. He understands its value. You giving him your time means everything.
(Not trying to make assumptions about every reader's love language, but I'm gonna wing it for Keeps.)
You thrive on words of affirmation, and Steve becomes better and better at communicating. He starts out so guarded because of the life he leads: his job is acts of service, he doesn't experience physical touch like other, he's...sorta terrible at gift giving, and Steve is being watched and listened to constantly. He's leery of everyone and everything. F.R.I.D.A.Y's everywhere--worse than J.A.R.V.I.S was--which takes a lot of getting used to.
He gets better, though. Steve has had to get comfortable with a lot of new-to-him behaviors. Not that he wouldn't have been nice and communicative with a girlfriend in the '40s, but he never had a girlfriend before. He's had zero practice, and at first, he's very awkward. Eventually, the words come easily, albeit always softly in public. He hates the idea of anyone else being in your relationship. They're there anyway.
Fools's Steve says "I love you" to you often, but the words have about three thousand variations of intonation and subtext, from playful to pissy. If you aren't alone, it's usually whispered.
Other than that, Steve not only tells you how lovely you look--even when you don't feel beautiful--but annoyingly and obviously means it every single time. You can see it in his eyes and his body language. It took a while to accept that he truly loves you and finds you beautiful. Your mind fought against accepting that. You were convinced by his every hesitation that it meant he couldn't possibly love you, but that wasn't true. That's not what was going on.
Steve took a while to sift through his feelings and hangups, but the question was never whether he loved you or was attracted to you. He worried whether or not he could be the partner he wanted to be to the right person.
38
Technically...Steve???? This one's a little complicated.
You get truly angry only after something has been stewing for a long time. Consistent, tiny annoyances or frustrating behaviors eventually boil to the surface in infrequent rages.
Steve, on the other hand, is cool as a cucumber until the most random, damndest things just 🫰🏼set him off. He's a cheeky bastard when his feathers are rumpled the wrong way. It's odd and totally hilarious.
He spends so much time as Cap letting everything just roll off his back like a duck in water. He has to go with the flow. He can only control himself and what he does in the future. He gives orders, yes, but humans err; Steve understands that maybe nothing he plans will go correctly. He's prepared for that.
But...what Steve isn't prepared for is people putting a vinyl record in the wrong dust jacket with no indication as to where the correct one will be. What kind of imbecile-- He can't stand his to-go order being totally opposite what it's supposed to be because seriously he didn't even make any substitutions! And absolutely hysterically, he can't handle there not being a 'wet floor' sign when the very shiny floors happen to be very slippery.
For a big man, Steve falls hard.
He got some great height though... Spun nearly 200 degrees mid-air before flopping the landing and bouncing against the far wall. Spectacularly funny when you know he isn't hurt. It's not even a pride or ego ding for Steve; he's simply furious that someone not-him could have been the one to slip.
So yeah, technically Steve has the quicker temper, but his anger lasts less time than yours.
Thank you for asking!

a request is for the 'Quest-Tober 'event! can I get a Gaster (undertale) x Male reader NSFW? (Fluff is fine too!) no specific prompt apart from Gaster using his ability to summon multiple hands
Ended up going with a NSFW/Fluff mix :3. Also, I wrote this with male anatomy in mind, buuut ended up making it to where the reader can be any gender lmao. Here's the link on ao3, and I hope you enjoy!
W.D. Gaster x Reader - Maybe. Maybe Not. (Semi-NSFW)
There has been so much sexual tension between you and the lead scientist of Monster’s Discoveries– or, the company that’s known as MD for short. It was a very… on the nose name, but that’s what happens when the King of Monsters starts naming things.
Monsters have been above ground for nearly twenty years, though the lead scientist only showed up on year ten, only making him more mysterious and sexy. Why didn’t he come out with the rest of the monsters? What made him different?
Rumors circulated about the scientist being a confidant of the King, entrusted with secrets and knowledge that set him apart from the other monsters. Some even speculated that he possessed a special ability or insight that made him distinct within the monster community… but that was just from what you’ve heard. You weren’t sure if any of that was true.
You rubbed at your eyes with a sigh, the coffee pot making a bubbly noise as the water boiled. It was a bit late at night in the break room… well, a bit late was an understatement. It was about an hour before the sun would come up again.
The break room was bathed in a soft, fluorescent glow, casting long shadows on the worn linoleum floor. The hum of the electronics in the building provided a soothing backdrop to your thoughts… though, there was a distinct lack of cameras in the breakroom. Last week, you had your sandwich stolen, but alas, nobody from the security department could figure it out.
After a while, you went over and settled into one of the plastic chairs, staring at the floor. The tension between you and the lead scientist had been palpable since the day he arrived. His presence seemed to loom over every interaction, leaving you with a sense of anticipation… though, nothing seemed to come out of any of the conversations, leaving you wanting.
As you sat in the break room, lost in your own mind, the door creaked open, causing you to startle. In walked a figure, tall and imposing, with an air of calculated confidence. It was none other than the lead scientist himself, W.D. Gaster.
He had an aura of enigma about him, his features sharp and his gaze piercing. His attire was always immaculate, a stark contrast to the dreary surroundings of the break room. Gaster's presence seemed to command attention, and the room seemed to grow even quieter as he entered.
"Good morning," he greeted, his voice low and measured, though there was an underlying intensity to it. He moved with a deliberate grace, heading towards the medium sized fridge in the corner of the room.
“Um.” You cleared your throat before politely responding. “Good morning Doctor Gaster. Busy night?”
Even though shifts almost always end at five thirty pm, you, him, and a few others usually spend the night getting things done. Overtime pays well, so it was hard not to spend the night.
“Busy as always.”
For a moment, there was a palpable tension in the air, as if the room itself held its breath in Gaster's presence. It was clear that he was aware of the effect he had on those around him.
“Neeeeed… any help with anything?” You asked, trying not to stare at his bony ass. It was a little hard to– with his lab coat and everything, but you still couldn’t help but look intensely irregardless.
“Do you think I need assistance?” To others his words might’ve seemed cold, but you knew he was fucking with you. “Do you think of me as some incompetent soul?”
“Maybe.” You smirked. “Maybe I do, just a little bit.”
Gaster's response was a low chuckle that seemed to reverberate through the room, taking out a tupperware before shutting the fridge. He went over to the microwave– a poor, beaten up appliance– before putting it in and setting it to run for a few minutes.
He went over and sat in the chair next to you, releasing a deep groan that made you want to immediately suck whatever body part he had between his legs.
You cleared your throat. "How are things going with the latest project?"
"It's been tiresome," he murmured, before proceeding to go into a lengthy explanation about what he has been doing for the past few months. Something about dimension hopping? It wasn't something you were working on, so it was a bit hard to follow– especially when he went into the math part of all of it.
The coffee pot shut off, letting you know that it was done.
Though before you could get up, Gaster flicked his wrist, summoning up an extra set of hands and pouring a mug before setting the cup in front of you.
You gave him a thankful smile, taking a long sip. Your tastebuds were so melted and disintegrated from years of abuse, that it was easy to ignore the bitter taste of straight black coffee.
"Well, that sounds complicated." You were going to say more, but the microwave beeped.
He sighed, not getting up quite yet. He used the same set of extra hands, opening up the microwave and letting the steam out.
"Are you going to eat in here?" You asked.
"I… should return to my work," he said simply.
"Should," you repeated, slightly leaning back in your chair whilst spreading your legs.
…Gaster didn't move from his chair.
You offered a smile, trying to ignore how aroused you were. Was this going to be it? Were you finally going to have sex with him? There's no cameras in the break room. It would be so easy to have sex with him.
"...I really should," he sighed, shifting in his chair. "I need to get some things done."
You paused before pouting, realizing that you were a bit too… horny, to think straight. "Let me work with you," you told him. "It'll speed things up."
"Don't you have your own tasks to complete?"
You waved a dismissive hand. "I'm not on a strict deadline. It's fine."
Gaster gave you a long look, seeming to be thinking… before slumping his shoulders, relaxing. "Very well then. Come with me."
You tried not to seem excited, getting up from the chair and heading out into the hall. Maybe you would have sex with him in the end– it all depended if you could get him in the right mood…

Fibromyalgia skin care, body edition:
So, my skin is really bad lol. I’ve had a rash on my legs for over ten years, and every doctor and dermatologist I’ve ever gone to was super gaslighty about it. It was originally caused when I got several mosquito bites at once; the next day I woke up with hives that looked like I’d been bitten all over my body. From then on, they would flare up any time I experienced physical or mental stress. Which was often, bc I was in uni at the time lol. And then about five years later I got attacked by a swarm of wasps and was covered with stings, and the rash never went away again. So obviously this screams autoimmune issue, but doctors told me I probably had bedbegs (made no sense bc I slept with a partner who was unaffected, and had moved three times, but I cleaned every piece of fabric I owned anyways and it didn’t help,) that it would probably just go away bc my labs were normal (sure, that’s why it lasted for a decade,) and my fav, that I must just be scratching myself bc I have anxiety (lol.)
Anyways, I’d sort of given up on figuring out what was going on, and I’d never seen a pic that looked quite like my rash, until I got my fibro diagnosis. The doctor told me that my kind of rash was not uncommon, and when I googled it I saw pics that looked exactly like me. It was so validating.
But double ANYWAYS, over the years I developed a lot of skincare strategies to help with the situation since doctors wouldn’t. I see a ton of incorrect info/bad advice online about skincare, and specifically rash care. So idk how to get the word out about any of this lol, but if you’re reading this, and you have a weird rash caused by fibromyalgia, this is what worked for me after years of trial and error!
I’m organizing my routine into stages depending on how bad your rash is flaring up at the time, but when you’re ready to move onto the products and tools of a new phase, keep doing everything you were already doing as maintenance.
When the rash is really bad:
Bioderma atoderm cleansing oil ($$): this is a very gentle cleanser that’s PH balanced, very non-irritating if you have sensitive skin, even if it’s flaring up. Won’t cause additional flare ups.
Scrubby bath puff ($): everything online will tell you not to exfoliate if you have a rash, but that’s terrible advice!! Exfoliation is the only way to remove dead, damaged skin cells and encourage circulation and new skin cell growth!! You just need to be careful and use common sense. Put the cleansing oil on a little puff and use that, your hands aren’t good enough alone. You don’t need to press hard, just go in gentle little circles from your ankles up, wrists in, always towards your heart.
Bioderma atoderm intensive baume ($$): this is the body cream that goes with the oil cleanser, make sure it’s the intensive baume and not just the regular cream. Fixing and maintaining your moisture barrier is key! Use this twice a day: morning and night, or make one of those after you get out of the shower if you showered that day.
Polysporin gel ($): or neosporin or whatever antibiotic gel is available in your area, gel is my personal preference, I feel like it absorbs better. Use this on any open sores so they don’t get infected and heal faster.
When the rash starts healing a bit:
Frank Body original coffee scrub ($): once you have fewer open sores, using this to exfoliate once or twice a week will speed up the healing process sooo much. If it hurts to use, you’re not ready for it yet. It should feel soothing. Don’t overdo it though even if it feels good, twice a week max.
Shaving ($): obviously you don’t need to shave if you don’t want to, but shaving your legs, dermablading your arms, etc is another great way to exfoliate a layer of dead skin cells. It also allows products like the intensive baume to penetrate more easily and deeper into your skin since there’s not a layer of hair in the way. Once every week or two is plenty, shave around open sores and don’t do it if it hurts. You can use the cleansing oil to shave with in the shower.
Retinol ($-$$$): I like the one from the inkey because it’s $ and effective. Mix this in with the baume once a week and it will significantly improve your skin texture. Pointless to do this though if your rash is still active bc you’ll just get more spots, but once you’re on a healing trend it’ll help the process a lot.
Body massager ($-$$): I have a plastic one from Sephora. This is the one thing on this list that might be mostly in my head, but it feels really nice so that counts for something in itself. It’s supposed to help with circulation and lymph drainage, and if you use it after your other products it helps them absorb into your skin. Relaxing to do before bed.
When you’re mostly healed/trying to maintain, and also lessen the appearance of scars:
Dry brush ($): omg I love dry brushing so much. If your skin is mostly healed, this will drastically reduce the appearance of scars. Don’t press hard! Do the same as with the cleansing oil: sweep up from your ankles, in from your wrists, always towards your heart, with a lil swirl at your joints and lymph nodes. Start with once a week, gradually go to twice, eventually you can do it once a day but not until you’ve worked your way up to it. If you do it too intensely or too often it can backfire; I’ve had it aggravate certain areas, including scar tissue. But if you’re gentle with yourself it feels great and really encourages circulation, lymph draining, and new skin cell growth. Best done on totally dry skin before you get in the shower. Game changer.
Faded Topicals brightening and clearing mist ($$): this is a great chemical exfoliant. Topicals is a great Black-owned brand that uses really good ingredients. I find that any product designed for melanated skin is the absolute best for dealing with any kind of hyperpigmentation, including scars. Use this once a week, after the shower, and let it dry before putting on the baume; it helps over time. Only downside is that the packaging kinda sucks and starts leaking eventually, so hopefully they fix that bc it works really well.
Obviously if you have a chronic illness like fibromyalgia, the causes of your skin issues are internal, so make sure you’re also getting the right nutrients and keeping up with your stretching/exercise routine as best you can. There’s only a limited amount you can do with external interventions, so don’t get frustrated, and don’t feel like you’re doing anything wrong! You’re not wrong and you’re not crazy, you know your body. Remember that having a routine at all is good for your brain, which is good for your stress levels, which is also progress. You’re doing a good job by controlling the parts that you can control; that’s all you can do, and it’s more than enough :)

Soothe Sore Muscles Naturally with CBD Roll-On Relief
If you’ve ever dealt with post-workout discomfort or everyday muscle aches, you’ve likely searched for something effective yet natural. That’s where CBD for sore muscles comes in. With more people turning to plant-based solutions for recovery, CBD roll-on products are becoming a go-to remedy for easing tension and promoting relaxation. Using a CBD roll-on allows for targeted relief, making it a popular choice for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone dealing with muscular stress. Whether it’s after a long run or hours at a desk, applying CBD directly to sore areas can provide a soothing experience.
Tumblr media
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant. Unlike THC, it doesn’t produce a “high,” but it does interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system to help regulate pain and inflammation. When used as a topical, such as a roll-on, it works directly on the affected area without entering the bloodstream. This makes it ideal for those seeking localized comfort from daily muscle strain. CBD for sore muscles may also assist in reducing stiffness and improving mobility over time.
The roll-on format adds an extra layer of convenience and cleanliness. There's no need to get your hands messy, and it allows for precision when applying to hard-to-reach places like your shoulders or lower back. The cooling sensation from added ingredients like menthol or eucalyptus often found in these products complements the calming effects of CBD, delivering immediate relief you can feel.
Consistency is key when it comes to seeing the full benefits. Regular use of a CBD roll-on may help manage chronic soreness, especially for those who have recurring muscle issues due to their lifestyle or occupation. It’s not a magic cure, but it’s a powerful tool to add to your recovery routine. For best results, apply it after a warm shower or bath when your pores are open and most receptive to absorption.
Many people find that combining CBD topicals with light stretching or massage enhances the overall effect. The relaxing properties of CBD can help muscles unwind more easily, allowing your body to reset and repair faster. Unlike oral CBD supplements, the roll-on doesn’t need time to digest or circulate through your system. It goes straight to the source of discomfort, offering more immediate support.
There’s also peace of mind in knowing what you’re putting on your body. High-quality CBD roll-ons are made with natural ingredients and are free of harsh chemicals. That’s why checking the brand’s credibility, lab testing, and ingredient transparency is essential. One brand that has been making a name for itself in the natural relief space is melamedcbd.com. They focus on wellness products that are clean, effective, and thoughtfully crafted.
It’s important to remember that everyone’s body responds differently. Some might feel instant relief, while others may need consistent use over several days. Factors such as your body weight, the severity of muscle tension, and even your skin type can influence how well the product works for you.
If you’re looking to enhance your post-workout recovery, reduce stress-induced muscle pain, or simply take a more natural approach to self-care, a CBD roll-on might be the answer. Easy to use, fast-acting, and increasingly backed by both science and testimonials, it offers a safe alternative to traditional topical treatments.
Whether you’re dealing with daily aches or occasional soreness, CBD-infused roll-ons can be a game changer. With growing research and consumer trust in CBD products, it’s no surprise that more people are turning to this natural option for relief. Brands like melamedcbd.com make it easier than ever to incorporate quality CBD into your routine with confidence.
In a world full of quick fixes, it’s refreshing to find a solution that works with your body, not against it. Give your muscles the natural care they deserve.

How to Choose the Best Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Bath for Your Laboratory Needs
When conducting experiments that require precise temperature control, especially at low temperatures, a Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Bath is an essential piece of equipment. Whether you’re working with chemical reactions, material testing, or pharmaceutical research, maintaining stable and consistent temperatures is critical. In this post, we will discuss the features you should look for when selecting the right bath for your laboratory.
Tumblr media
What is a Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Bath?
A Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Bath is a device designed to maintain a stable temperature environment during chemical processes, experiments, and industrial applications. These baths are often used in fields like chemical synthesis, pharmaceutical research, and material testing, where temperature stability is essential for ensuring accurate results.
Key Features to Look for When Choosing a Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Bath
1. Temperature Range and Stability
The first thing to consider is the temperature range of the bath. Depending on the nature of your experiment, you may need a bath that can operate at extremely low temperatures. The AKFY-100L Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Bath offers reliable and stable temperature control for various laboratory needs.
2. Circulation System
A good circulation system is crucial to maintaining uniform temperature throughout the bath. Devices with both internal and external circulation systems allow for better temperature distribution and flexibility when connecting other equipment like rotary evaporators.
3. Cooling Efficiency
For experiments that require quick changes in temperature, fast cooling is important. High cooling efficiency ensures that the bath can reach the desired temperature quickly and maintain stability during the process.
4. Durability and Material Quality
Durability is essential when selecting laboratory equipment. A Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Bath should be made from corrosion-resistant materials, such as stainless steel, to ensure long-lasting performance. Models like the AKFY-100L are known for their robust construction and resistance to mechanical and chemical damage.
5. Safety Features
Since low temperature baths are often used in sensitive experiments, safety features are essential. Look for models that have built-in protections like automatic shut-off in case of overheating, or safeguards against overpressure to ensure safety during operations.
Common Applications for Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Baths
1. Pharmaceutical Research
Low Temperature Constant Temperature Reaction Baths are vital in pharmaceutical labs for stability testing of drugs and the synthesis of new pharmaceutical compounds. Maintaining a precise temperature is essential for ensuring the consistency and quality of the substances being developed.
2. Chemical Synthesis
When performing chemical reactions like crystallization or polymerization, it’s important to maintain a constant temperature. These baths help to achieve efficient reactions without fluctuations that could impact the outcome.
3. Material Testing
In material science, testing materials under extreme conditions is often necessary. These baths ensure that the test environment remains stable, allowing researchers to gather accurate data on material performance under controlled temperature conditions.
